11-25-21 | Ole Miss +2.5 v. Mississippi State | 31-21 | Win | 100 | 17 h 43 m | Show
DMACK'S OLE MISS/MISS ST EGG BOWL SUPER PLAY winner is on the Ole Miss Rebels The Rebels have won six of seven with the loss to Alabama and have rolled to at least 464 yards of total offense in all seven games. Miss Sate has four losses and three of them are by three or less points so this is going to be a street fight. That said, the Reb bend but don't break defense has given up yards but no so much points. The Dog has covered six of eight in the series and Ole Miss has covered three straight on this field. Ole Miss 37-23. |
11-25-21 | Raiders v. Cowboys -7.5 | 36-33 | Loss | -102 | 14 h 38 m | Show
DMACK'S THURS TURKEY SHOOT SUPER PLAY WINNER is on the Dallas Cowboys The Raiders have lost three straight, being outscored 59-17 in the second half of those games. Las Vegas is headed into the teeth of another second half fold. That's not Jon Gruden or the interim staff, that just what the Raiders do and have done for the last 15 years. Gonna give the Cowboys a mulligan on their game versus the Chiefs. They'll be plenty salty here and will try to look impressive in front of their fans in their one home game in five weeks. Dallas by 14. |
11-24-21 | Baylor -12 v. Arizona State | 75-63 | Push | 0 | 10 h 43 m | Show
DMACK'S WEDS NCAAB PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Baylor Bears Baylor has opened their defense of last year's national championship is fine fashion. The Bears are 4-0 with wins of 45-38-28-29-27, the 45 point win against Stanford. Baylor is athletic, talented, and play great defense ... just like last year's championship outfit. Arizona State is 2-2 but three points short of being unbeaten. The Sun Devils lost to UC Riverside on a 65-foot shot at the buzzer and a two-point loss in overtime to a very good San Diego State. At face, the number looks a bit high but the reality is that Arizona State is a middle of the road Pac12 team that might hang around for a half but in the end, are overwhelmed the this better and deeper Baylor team. |
11-24-21 | Lakers v. Pacers -3.5 | 124-116 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 47 m | Show
DMACK'S NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Indiana Pacers The Lakers are in a tough spot, the second game of a back-to-back, and a third game in four nights. Lebron returns tonight which will help but face a surging Pacer outfit that has won two straight and is 5-2 on their home floor. The Pacers will have a big edge in the paint with Myles and Sabonis and with even a decent shooting night by the wings, Indiana should win by double-digits. |
11-23-21 | Gonzaga -5.5 v. UCLA | 83-63 | Win | 100 | 12 h 10 m | Show
DMACK'S GONZAGA/UCLA ONE vs. TWO SUPER PLAY winner is on Gonzaga The Zags are 5-0 and have smoked four tomato cans and beat No.4 Texas by 12 in their only game versus a team with a pulse. This is a rematch of the 93-90 Gonzaga win in OT in last years Final Four semifinal. UCLA is 4-0 and hasn't been threatened owning an OT win over Villanova. The Zags have had an M.O of crushing non-conference opponents early then getting stale after rolling through their conference play and finding way to lose in the Big Dance. Think Temme will have a big night here and the bigger Zags control the boards in a 15 point win. |
11-23-21 | Buffalo v. Ball State -6.5 | 3-20 | Win | 100 | 9 h 24 m | Show
DMACK'S TUES BIG MAC winner is on the Ball State Cardinals Ball State has been a disappointment this year at 5-6 and this is the Cards Super Bowl. Remember, that Ball State returned 20 starters, 10 on offense, 10 on defense, and 97 returning starts on the offensive line. Tonight they face a Buffalo outfit that has allowed 200+ rushing years in eight of their 10 games and are allowing an average of 44.7 ppg. in their L3. The Bulls are 2-5 in the MAC and all five losses are more than the points that they'll be getting here. Ball State comes through in a big way, lets call it 49-31. |
11-22-21 | Suns -5.5 v. Spurs | 115-111 | Loss | -108 | 19 h 7 m | Show
DMack's NBA Play of the Day is on the Phoenix Suns The Spurs are 2-4 at home, 2-7 on the road and 4-11 overall in the Greg Popovich farewell tour. Pure and simple, the Spurs are not very good. The Sun have won 12 straight with a point differential of +7.2 and just don't seem to be getting much respect while being overshadowed by the resurgence of Golden State. Did a mention that San Antonio is 1-9 vs. the Western Conference ??? Phoenix 113-96. |
11-22-21 | Akron -9.5 v. Fordham | 43-63 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 14 m | Show
DMack's College Basketball First Blood is on the Akron Zips The Zips are a pretty coop team that should be unbeaten. They lost to Ohio State 67-66 in a game they led by four with six second left they blew out two small school tomato cans by 56 and 61 points. The perpetually rebuilding Fordham Rams are 2-2 with losses to Manhattan and in two OT's to Maryland-Eastern Shore neither of which is Gonzaga or UCLA. Akron was a preseason co-favorite to win the MAC and will have a lot to say in the winner. They are athletic, experienced, and can shoot. Zips by 20. |
11-21-21 | Bengals v. Raiders | 32-13 | Win | 100 | 60 h 14 m | Show
DMACK'S NFL GAME OF THE WEEK winner is on the Cincinnati Bengals Both teams have been showing signs of hitting the wall. The Bengals are off two straight losses prior to last week's bye week. The Raiders were throttled at home by Kansas City Chiefs who threw for 422 yards after being toothless on offense for the prior month. The Bengals have scored 31 points or more in three of their last four games and should do a lot of business against a weak Raider back seven. The Raiders have lost two straight, outscored in the second half 37-10. With the extra week to prepare against the Las Vegas interim staff, give a big edge to the Bengals. Cincinnati 37-20. |
11-21-21 | 49ers -6 v. Jaguars | 30-10 | Win | 100 | 106 h 45 m | Show
DMack's NFL 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the San Francisco 49ers The Jags are 2-2 in their L4 games after losing 20 straight. One of those wins was a 9-6 slobberknocker with Buffalo. The Jags has scored just three touchdowns in their L31 drives. San Francisco is not in the greatest spot, coming West to East on a short week. Three of the 49ers four wins have come on the road (Lions, Eagles, Bears) exactly against this type. The Jags already have five double-digit losses so spotting a touchdown is not unreasonable here. Take the 49ers. |
11-21-21 | Packers -2.5 v. Vikings | 31-34 | Loss | -105 | 106 h 42 m | Show
DMack's NFL 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the Green Bay Packers The Vikings will be desperate as they little margin for error from here on out if they have hopes of reaching the post-season. That said, they been on the wrong side of a lot of close games as eight of their nine have been decided by seven points or less. Perhaps most telling, the Vikes have been outscored 77-19 in the final two minutes of each half. Who's better at running the two minute drill than Aaron Rodgers ??? In the last two games, the Packers have have allowed one touchdown in 19 drives. Statistically, Cousins has been good but not that good. Take Green Bay. |
11-21-21 | Dolphins -3 v. Jets | 24-17 | Win | 100 | 106 h 41 m | Show
DMack's NFL 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the Miami Dolphins Joe Flacco takes the helm for the Jets this week. He played for the Jets last year and was shut out in his start against the Fish. In fact, Miami is 6-1 SU and 6-0-1 ATS L7 in the series and beat the Flyboys twice last year by a 44-3 aggregate. The Jets have allowed 54-31-45-45 in their L4 games, the second highest four game total since the NFL merger. Miami gets the money here. |
11-20-21 | Heat -1 v. Wizards | 100-103 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 17 m | Show
DMACK's NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Miami Heat Washington's stay at the top of the Eastern Conference was short lived as the Wiz have dropped two straight and the league may be figuring this team out. The new Laker contingent that came over in the Russell Westbrook trade has been great but can only carry you so far. Miami is just 5-4 on the road but those losses were at Clippers, at Bulls, at Boston, and in OT at Indiana. They have a win against the Jazz in enemy territory and hand the Wizards their second home loss here. Miami 108-100. |
11-20-21 | California -1.5 v. Stanford | 41-11 | Win | 100 | 17 h 6 m | Show
DMACK NCAAF 3-GAME POWER PACK winner is on the Cal Bears It's hard to believe that Stanford has lost five straight since upsetting Oregon. This is a team that has quit on Shaw and really has no reason to play other than it's "The Game" rivalry. Cal had won two straight and appeared to be getting back on track before half the team was hit by Covid. The Bears have had two weeks to recover and prepare for this game. If Cal is halfway right and it appears that they are, they'll have no excuse in this important rivalry game against a team that has quit and lost it's last two teams by 21 and 45 points. |
11-20-21 | Baylor +1.5 v. Kansas State | 20-10 | Win | 100 | 16 h 50 m | Show
DMACK NCAAF 3-GAME POWER PACK winner is on the Baylor Bears Kansas State's strongest unit is their defensive line that has been extremely successful rushing the quarterback. Today they face an offensive line that allowed eight sacks all year. Baylor has dominated the series of late and on a current 7-2 ATS run. Talking heads are expecting the Bears to be flat off their win over Oklahoma but this team is well coached and made of better stuff. |
11-20-21 | Nebraska v. Wisconsin -8 | 28-35 | Loss | -114 | 36 h 51 m | Show
DMACK'S BIG TEN COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME OF THE YEAR winner is on the Wisconsin Huskies After a slow start, the Wisconsin Badgers have won six straight to take control on the Big Ten West. A win here and then next week at Minnesota will put the Badgers in a spot to get trounced by the winner of the East and then go to the Rose Bowl or Holiday Bowl. The Huskers are playing out the string and have had their moments but just don't match up well here against the big, physical, punishing Wisconsin line play. Wisconsin 37-19. |
11-20-21 | Washington v. Colorado +7 | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 14 h 41 m | Show
DMACK NCAAF 3-GAME POWER PACK winner is on the Colorado Buffalos Colorado has had a tough year but they've been rock solid in Boulder going 3-2 with a win over Oregon State and a 10-7 loss to Texas A&M. It's the Buffs final home game so they'll want to send their seniors off with a win, especially with at Utah on deck. Washington fired its coach this week and has a date vs. Washington State in The Apple Cup next next week. The Huskies could possibly get bowl eligible with a win but .... why ??? Colorado 24-13. |
11-20-21 | UMass v. Army -35.5 | Top | 17-33 | Loss | -111 | 11 h 11 m | Show |
DMACK's COLLEGE FOOTBALL CAN OF WHUP ASS is on the Army Cadets Army is going to win but by how much ??? The Cadets are off a 63-10 win (-51) over Bucknell and have shown no compunction about crushing bottom feeders in the past. UMass has lost four straight SU and ATS and the Minutemen are giving up 224 per on the ground at a whopping 5.7 per carry. That's not a recipe for success against Army who will want to send their seniors off in style as they play their final game at West Point. |
11-19-21 | Arizona v. Washington State -14.5 | 18-44 | Win | 100 | 22 h 39 m | Show
DMack's Friday College Football Bankroll Builder is in the Washington State Cougars Arizona would be winless except for a 10-3 over a Covid decimated Cal outfit. Arizona appears to have played better against Utah but the Utes were in a look ahead spot to Oregon this week and were more than happy to get out with a win and healthy. Wazzou has played well for interim Jake Dickert who took over after Nick Rolovich was fired for refusing to be vaccinated. The Coogs need to win here to get bowl eligible and a win here and in a very winable Apple Cup showdown with Washington could have Dickert coaching for this job. Washington State 33-10. |
11-19-21 | Warriors -9.5 v. Pistons | 105-102 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 40 m | Show
DMACK'S FRIDAY NBA PLAY OF THE DAY winner is the Golden State Warriors The Pistons are a hot mess again this year, out of the gate 4-10, 2-5 at home, 2-5 on the road, with a -9.3 point differential. The No.1 pick in this year's NBA Draft, Cade Cunningham, was hurt early on and has been decent in his nine games but is not a franchise changer by any means. Golden State has just rolled the their first 15 games, now 13-2 with a whopping +13.7 point differential. The Warrior barely broke a sweat in crushing Cleveland last night with no one of significance playing any minutes of serious consequence in the front end of this back-to-back. Barring a brutal shooting night from the Wubs, Golden State can name their margin and easily cover this near double-digit impost. Take Golden State. |
11-18-21 | Clippers -1 v. Grizzlies | 108-120 | Loss | -103 | 17 h 28 m | Show
DMACK'S THURS NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the L.A. Clippers The Clippers are starting to come around after a slow start, going 8-2 in their L10, and at 9-5, keeping things alive for the return of Kawhi Leonard in the second half. The Clippers have only played four road games, a loss at Golden State and three double-digit wins. Memphis is a 50-50 proposition pretty much across the board at 7-7 but still rock a -3.6 point differential in their 14 games. JA Morant is great but tonight he's overwhelmed by the Clippers seemingly unlimited supply of sharpshooting wing players. Clippers 113-103. |
11-17-21 | Bulls +2.5 v. Blazers | 107-112 | Loss | -104 | 21 h 46 m | Show
DMACK's NBA 3-GAME POWER PACK winner is on the Chicago Bulls The Blazers are 7-8 albeit 6-1 at home but the reality is that Blazers are not good and will come back to the pack, even at the Rose Center. Very impressed with the relentless Bulls. Bringing in Billy Donovan as HC and DeMar DeRozan run the show was genius and the role players have been outstanding, particularly Alex Caruso who seems to do something big every game. Chicago 108-103. |
11-17-21 | Mavs v. Suns -5.5 | 98-105 | Win | 100 | 21 h 44 m | Show
DMACK's NBA 3-GAME POWER PACK winner is on the Phoenix Suns The Suns have won nine straight, most in dominating fashion. Phoenix has a +7.2 point differential and have a Mavs team that will likely be without Luka Doncic and his bum ankle. If you want to see how to build a team, look at the Suns. Just two players play 30 minutes, nine play 17+ minutes. They are are plug-ins that get plenty of touches all contribute. Rumors of Sun demise off 1-3 start were VERY premature. Suns 116-104. |
11-17-21 | Pelicans v. Heat -9.5 | 98-113 | Win | 100 | 18 h 12 m | Show
DMACK's NBA 3-GAME POWER PACK winner is on the Miami Heat The Pelican may have already played themselves out of the playoffs by starting 2-13 in the first 15 games in the super tough Western Conference. Help is on the way with Zion cleared to practice but the Pelicans are 1-7 on the road and face a killer here in the Heat. Miami is making up for last year's lost season with a fast start here including a 4-1 home record and an overall +7.2 point differential. NOLA plays hard and may stay in it for a half but in the end, Miami extends late t o come away with a comfortable 13-15 point win. |
11-16-21 | Spurs v. Clippers -6.5 | 92-106 | Win | 100 | 21 h 40 m | Show
DMack's NBA Play of the Day is on the Clippers The Clippers saw their seven game win streak snapped by the Bulls in their last .... no shame there. They don't face anyway near that tough here in the Spurs who are 2-5 on the road and just 1-7 against the Western Conference. Thinking that Pop should have taken a page form the Belichick playbook and got out a year to soon. It's going to be a long long yer in San Antonio. Clippers by 15. |
11-15-21 | Bulls +1.5 v. Lakers | 121-103 | Win | 100 | 13 h 10 m | Show
DMACK'S NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Chicago Bulls The Bulls are 9-4 and it doesn't seem to matter where ... they're 5-2 at home and 4-2 on the road with decent wins at Toronto and Boston. The Lakers are 8-6 but have played 11 of their first 14 games at home. They start a 5-game Midwest trip after this game. Both teams have been dealing with injuries but the Bulls have played surprisingly well under Billy Donovan and their solid "next man up mentality". In the end, the Bulls, are younger, deeper, and better 1-10 on the roster. Chicago straight up. |
11-14-21 | Blazers v. Nuggets -4 | 95-124 | Win | 100 | 17 h 15 m | Show
DMack Sun 3-Game NBA Power Pack winner is on the Denver Nuggets Analysis to follow |
11-14-21 | Nets -9 v. Thunder | 120-96 | Win | 100 | 16 h 19 m | Show
DMack Sun 3-Game NBA Power Pack winner is on the Brooklyn Nets Analysis to follow |
11-14-21 | Warriors -5 v. Hornets | 102-106 | Loss | -107 | 16 h 14 m | Show
DMACK's NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Golden State Warriors The Warriors are off to an 11-1 start missing two starters off what would be their optimum starting lineup. They are just not beating people, they are stomping people with an NBA 14.7 point differential. Charlotte is a coming home game for Steph Curry (played at Davidson) and he always makes it a point to make it a show when he comes in once a year. This should be no exception and you can expect the Warriors on their best in an easy double digit win. |
11-14-21 | Vikings v. Chargers -3 | 27-20 | Loss | -112 | 65 h 46 m | Show
DMack's NFL Week 10 Game of the Week is on the Los Angeles Chargers Seven of the Vikings eight games have been decided by seven or less points so why use the Chargers .... team that has been involved in several close decisions themselves. Primarily because the Vikes always seem to be on the wrong end while the Chargers generally find a way to get buy. The Vikes have been outscored 70-19 in the final two minutes of halves. That could come into play here as the Chargers are very good in the two minute drill. Like the fact that the Bolts have found a way to run the football, in fact, averaging 168 per their last four. Been waiting for the Chargers to beat up on somebody for weeks ... this is the week. Chargers 30-17. |
11-14-21 | Lions +9 v. Steelers | 16-16 | Win | 100 | 82 h 10 m | Show
DMACK'S WEEK 10 NFL DOG BITE winner is on the Detroit Lions The Steelers are back in the race for the NFC North but have very little motivation here othre than to get out of Dodge with a win. Pitt nursing several minor injuries and still have bigger fish to fry. It's the halfway mark for the winless Lions and you can get Motown at several strip properties to finish the season 0-fer at +650. Detroit has for the most part played hard except for the 44-6 loss to Philly heading into their bye. They've had the extra time to clear their heads and are 8-1 ATS coming out of their L9 byes and also 10-5 L15 as a non-divisional road dog. You would think we'd see a big effort here and will. |
11-14-21 | Browns +2.5 v. Patriots | 7-45 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 12 m | Show
DMACK'S WEEK 10 NFL LATE STEAM SUPER PLAY is on the Cleveland Browns Sending Odell Beckham packing may have been the best thing to ever happen to the Browns, your classic addition by subtraction. Cleveland was 14-15 with him and 10-4 without him including a spanking on NFC North leader Cincinnati last week. The Brown defense will be getting after rookie Mac Jones all day while keeping the defense fresh by rushing the football and controlling the clock. Cleveland straight up by double digits. |
11-13-21 | Nevada +3 v. San Diego State | 21-23 | Win | 100 | 47 h 14 m | Show
DMack's Nevada/SDSU Late Show Bail Out is on the Nevada Wolf Pack San Diego State has finally been exposed for the grinders that they are and the blueprint to beating the Aztecs is clear as day. Get ahead early and keep the pressure on throughout and SDSU does not have the teeth to respond. Nevada has had the key in the series, winning the last three games, all straight up as dogs. Wolf Pack QB Strong does not make mistakes (25 TDs/ 7 Ints) and a win hear would give Nevada a leg up on the Mountain West West. Nevada 27-16. |
11-13-21 | Celtics -2.5 v. Cavs | 89-91 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 59 m | Show
DMack's Sat NBA 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the Boston Celtics This is the front end of a Saturday/Monday home and home that finds the Celts as a small road favorite here. The Cavs have been this year's overachievers 15 games in but that's not likely to continue long term, not even in the East. The Celtics seem to have chemistry issues that are being worked out. Not the best of spots as the Celtivs won playing OT vs. Milwaukee last night but this is a young deep roster that needs to find ways to win these games if they hope in any way to make noise in the East. |
11-13-21 | Wizards -4 v. Magic | 104-92 | Win | 100 | 9 h 22 m | Show
DMack's Sat NBA 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the Washington Wizards Don't look now but the Wizards lead the East and are doing some real nice things with the assets they acquired in the Russell Westbrook trade. The wings can shoot and the team plays strong defense with enough size to not get beaten up on the boards. The Magic have a ways to go in their rebuild and are just are just 1-5 at home in the Amway Center. The Wiz must win these and in this case .... they will. |
11-13-21 | Grizzlies -3 v. Pelicans | 101-112 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 21 m | Show
DMack's Sat NBA 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the Memphis Grizzlies The Grizz are 6-6, good for the final playoff spot in the West early on, and have a legit superstar in Ja Morant. This guy is a year or two away from being the best PG in the league. The Pelicans are a nightmare and appear ready to cut their losses with Zion at 1-12 and no end to the injury bug in site. For young teams to grow, they have to turn the knife versus teams like Pelicans. Memphis 104-88. |
11-13-21 | Miami-FL -2.5 v. Florida State | 28-31 | Loss | -110 | 59 h 35 m | Show
DMACK'S ACC GAME OF THE YEAR is on the Miami Hurricanes Florida State seemed to be showing some signs of life after wins versus North Carolina and Boston College but they were really just death throes and the Seminole season has continued to burn with losses to NC State and Clemson. For the techies, the home team is 3-12 ATS L15 in the series. Miami on the other hand turned things around. The Canes are 5-4 but two of the losses are by 2 and 3 points and another in the opener vs. Alabama. Miami has won three straight with Van Dyke throwing for 325, 426, 389 and need only win out against FSU here and then home to Virginia Tech, and at Duke to finish 8-4 and based on strength of schedule (Top 25) go to a nice Bowl game and build for 2022. I would be floored if the Canes didn't win by double-digits here. I personally NEVER bet on alternate spread line but may take a look at a flyer here. Miami 37-16. |
11-12-21 | Mavs -2 v. Spurs | 123-109 | Win | 100 | 19 h 52 m | Show
MACK ATTACK FRIDAY NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Dallas Mavs We've done really well betting the Mavs as their M.O. is becoming more and more obvious. They beat up bottom feeders and and struggle against teams with a pulse, especially on the road. They are 5-1 in the Western Conference and 4-0 in their own Southwest Division and have already beaten the Spurs twice. Granted that both games were close but Dallas was not overly extended in either and hasn't had to use the "Luka" card just yet. San Antonio is not good and this is likely Pops farewell tour. Mavs by 8-10. |
11-12-21 | Cincinnati -23 v. South Florida | 45-28 | Loss | -111 | 41 h 59 m | Show
DMACK'S FRI NCAAF BANKROLL BUILDER is on the Cincinnati Bearcats Strangely enough, USF is 5-0-1 ATS in the series since 2015 as bad as they've been in recent years. This year night be the worst for the Bulls who face a Bearcat bunch in need a big style-point win as a victim needs anti-venom after getting bit by a cobra. Cinn is No.5 now in the Playoff rankings and have ne excuse not to run the table and go undefeated in regular season plays. Ritter Heisman hype has cooled off so he can just go out and play and I think that will serve the Bearcats well, 4913 in front of a national TV audience. |
11-10-21 | Kings +1 v. Spurs | 117-136 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 3 m | Show
DMack's Weds NBA Power Pack winner is on the Sacramento Kings The Kings are doing some nice things, especially against their own kind. They have a bunch of nice wing players that shoot the ball well and they've done their best work on the road. The Spurs are in a complete rebuild and are just not very good in what should be Pop's farewell tour. The Spurs are just 1-3 at home this year and 0-5 overall against the Western Conference. We could see the Kings as 2-3 point favorites at game time so get in early. |
11-10-21 | Hornets v. Grizzlies -4.5 | 118-108 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 35 m | Show
DMack's Weds NBA Power Pack winner is on the Memphis Grizzlies The Grizz are a nice young team that continues to get better slowly as the put pieces around the fearless Ja Morant. Memphis is a handful at home (4-1) while the Hornets are just 3-5 at home and at the end of a long West Coast swing. The number is right and see Memphis extending late against a road weary Charlotte outfit. |
11-10-21 | Mavs v. Bulls -3.5 | 107-117 | Win | 100 | 9 h 34 m | Show
DMack's Weds NBA Power Pack winner is on the Chicago Bulls The Bulls are still playing well despite some key injuries. They are young and tough and the Next Man Up philosophy really works well with Billy Donovan. The Mavs are 7-3 and including 5-1 L6 both those are suspect in that's it's all been against their hideous Southwest Division. The Bulls also have a habit of playing up or down to their competition which should work for us with Luka coming to town. Bulls 113-102. |
11-09-21 | Buffalo +7.5 v. Miami-OH | 18-45 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 52 m | Show
DMacks Tuesday Night MAC Attack winner is on the Buffalo Bulls Buffalo has improved leaps and bounds since the start of MAC play. The Bulls were gutted by graduation but really turned it up a not on league play facing their own kind. Buffalo has scored 38+ in three of their last four games and figure to do some business against a suspect Redhawk defense. Getting the 7.5 points is a gift against a team that is 0-3 as a favorite this year and 6-9 L15 as a home favorite overall. |
11-08-21 | Pelicans v. Mavs -8.5 | 92-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 11 m | Show
DMack's Monday NBA Play of the Day is on the Dallas Mavs After a slow start, the Mavs are starting to get in sync with the schemes of new coach Jason Kidd. They're even playing defense these days which is somewhat shocking in itself considering the personnel. Tonight, they catch the 1-9 Pelicans who are losing by 9+ ppg. and don't have the troops themselves to deal with a very deep Mavs team that comes at you with Luka and waves of very good role players. Dallas 120-96. |
11-07-21 | Rockets v. Warriors -12.5 | 107-120 | Win | 100 | 20 h 7 m | Show
DMACK'S SUNDAY NBA PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Golden State Warriors Not the least bit concerned with laying the big points here. The Warriors are winning by a 13.7 point differential and are facing a team that is 27th in points against. Houston has a nice young team with several nice parts, five players are averaging double-digits. That said, the defense still needs a TON of work and we can pretty much expect Golden State to roll until they decide to call off the dogs. |
11-07-21 | Titans v. Rams -7 | 28-16 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 22 m | Show
DMACK'S TITANS/RAMS SUNDAY NIGHT BAILOUT winner is on the Los Angeles Rams The Titans are in a rough spot here. Tennessee has done it with smoke and mirrors under the best of times and now off a bad loss and the loss of Derrick Henry, this is a fruit that is ripe to be picked. The Titans also travel to the PST and a late start versus an offensive machine that is really dialed in. Mathew Stafford didn't play in many of these national TV game during his time in Detroit so expect McVay to showcase him here is a game the Rams should win comfortably. |
11-07-21 | Vikings v. Ravens -6 | 31-34 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 53 m | Show
DMACK's NFL 3-GAME POWER PACK WINNER is on the Baltimore Ravens The Ravens are going to be loaded for bear after getting spanked in their game prior to their bye last week and have had extra time to get healthy and prep for the Vikes here. In fact, the Ravens are 17-8 ATS in games with more than a week to prepare under John Harbaugh. The Vike offense is struggling and was 1-13 on third down last week vs. Dallas. Just can't help but thing the Ravens won't be ready on both sides of the ball in a top spot for them to win playing in a division wher every game counts. Baltimore 27-13. |
11-06-21 | Hawks v. Suns -4.5 | 117-121 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 55 m | Show
DMACK'S SATURDAY NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Phoenix Suns It took a week for the Sund to get going but they've now won three straight by 12-12-9 points, all at home, and appear to have some swagger back. They face an Atlanta bunch that has lost four of five to the Eastern Elite, all fore and three on the road by double-digits. The Utah-Phoenix and the Utah-Denver swings are always the toughest in basketball and the Jazz just clobbered the Hawks by 18 less than 48 hours ago. Phoenix wins this by 10-14. |
11-06-21 | Michigan State -3 v. Purdue | 29-40 | Loss | -104 | 10 h 5 m | Show
DMACK SAT NCAAF 3-GAME POWER PACK winner is on the Michigan State Spartans This would be an upset alert spot for Michigan State under normal circumstance. The 8-0 Spartans are fresh of come-from-ahead win over Big Brother Michigan last week in a fight that Michigan State trailed most of the way before scoring late. Really like the way Mich State plays challenging side to side defense that contains and stifles. Michigan State 21-13. |
11-06-21 | Auburn v. Texas A&M -4 | 3-20 | Win | 100 | 29 h 50 m | Show
DMack's Auburn/A&M SEC West Eliminator Super Play winner is Texas A&M Auburn is a nice team but a different animal home and away. The Tigers roll when the offense gets going but on the road against a very tough Aggie defense, they don't figure to have their usual success. A&M has won three straight averaging 40 per and rushing for 283 and 290 in it's last two. Auburn is giving up 452 yards per in it's L3 and Bo Nix and the offense might not see a lot of field time. The homies get the money here, lets call it 30-20. |
11-06-21 | Baylor -6.5 v. TCU | 28-30 | Loss | -110 | 29 h 47 m | Show
DMACK'S BIG 12 GAME OF THE MONTH winner is on the Baylor Bears Baylor has won three straight scoring 114 points while averaging 495 yards per game. The Bears only loss this year is at Oklahoma State and this team is anything but a sleeper for the Big 12 championship game. TCU is in complete freefall, 1-4 in conference with a win over Kansas, and firing it's longtime iconic coach this week. Frogs will go with interim the rest of the way and can't imagine this team doing anything but playing out the string the rest of the way. Urgency and spot definitely on the side of Baylor ...... 45-20 Bears. |
11-06-21 | California -9 v. Arizona | 3-10 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 24 m | Show
DMACK SAT NCAAF 3-GAME POWER PACK winner is on the Cal Bears Arizona is 0-8 this year and has lost 20 straight overall. The Wildcats have also been held to 19 points or less in 10 of their L11 games. Away favorite has not been Cal's bet spot to shine but the Bears have won two straight behind efficient QB Garbers who doesn't make mistakes or turn the ball over. Cal thoroughly dominated a pretty good Oregon State team in last and the Beavers would be AT LEAST nine points here. |
11-06-21 | Ohio State -14 v. Nebraska | 26-17 | Loss | -112 | 6 h 11 m | Show
DMACK SAT NCAAF 3-GAME POWER PACK winner is on the Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State trails Oregon in the first College Football Playoff ranking and the Ducks own the all important head-to-head so the Buckeyes have zero margin of error. That's good because the Buckeye offense is now No.1 in the country averaging 548 ypg and 47.3 ppg. Nebraska is 1-8 straight up against OSU since entering the Big Ten and are on a current 1-6 SU and ATS run here. Style point DO matter and Ohio State is a programs with few qualms about running it up. Cheap number. |
11-05-21 | Hornets v. Kings -1.5 | 110-140 | Win | 100 | 20 h 58 m | Show
DMACK'S FRIDAY NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Sacramento Kings We used the Kings as our Play of the Day on Wednesday and rewarded with a 13-point winner (-5.5) over New Orleans. Right back against the Hornets who are a .500 Eastern Conference team that's not that special. The Kings are 1-2 at home but remember that the losses were to Utah and Golden State to open the season and the win against the Pelicans. Sacto is a hard team to match up against with it's wing scoring and tough defense. An average shooting night by the Kings means an easy double-digit win. |
11-04-21 | Jazz -1.5 v. Hawks | 116-98 | Win | 100 | 9 h 47 m | Show
DMACK'S THURS NBA PLAY OF THE DAY WINNER is on the Utah Jazz The Jazz are just back from a 3-1 roadie that included B2Bs at the Bulls and Bucks last weekend. The Hawks have been very ordinary although we'll find out here is the 3-0 (home, 1-4 (road) split mans anything. The Hawks are still a work in progress where I see the Jazz more like Tampa Bay in the NHL that built their character last year but are ready to challenge for a championship this year. Jazz by 10. |
11-03-21 | Pelicans v. Kings -4.5 | 99-112 | Win | 100 | 11 h 59 m | Show
DMack's Weds NBA Power Pack winner is on the Sacramento Kings The Kings have done some nice things early on and have shown they can hang with the best of the West and even win on occasion. When the team is on and shooting well, they're tough to deal with as they have so many ways to go. The Kings are 0-2 at home but those losses were to Utah in their opener and a two-point loss to Golden State, no shame in either of those. The 1-7 Pelicans come to town with no Zion and not much going for them. Sacramento by 12-15. |
11-03-21 | Mavs v. Spurs | 109-108 | Win | 100 | 9 h 20 m | Show
DMack's Weds NBA Power Pack winner is on the Dallas Mavs This is a rematch of a close game in Dallas six days ago won by the Mavs (-4.5) 105-99. Both teams have been in and out and strangely enough you can blame the Mavs slow start on Luka who has shot miserably in the Mavs first seven games. Mavs have been playing a lot of guys and spreading out the minutes. Thinking that Jason Kidd might start tightening things up here and and putting Luka to work. Just asking the Mavs to win and these are games they must do just that is they hope to be more than an after thought in the highly competitive West. |
11-03-21 | Knicks +1 v. Pacers | 98-111 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 58 m | Show
DMack's Weds NBA Power Pack winner is on the NY Knicks The Knicks are off a bad home loss to Toronto in a game they were not really ever in. The Knicks are 3-0 on the road with a win at Chicago and should be loaded for bear here against an Indiana team that has done nothing on the defensive end. Knicks have the depth to come at you in waves and play winning defense with Tibs calling the shots. Knicks by 6-8. |
11-02-21 | Heat -2 v. Mavs | 125-110 | Win | 100 | 8 h 8 m | Show
DMACK'S TUES NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Miami Heat As dusfunctional as the Heat were for most of all of last year, they've been grounded and laser focused in their 5-1 start. They have the biggest point differential in the league at better than 17+ per game. Dallas has played well but unspectacular at home in their first three games but they''ve developed a bad habbit of poor starts that won't work here. If Dallas gets down 22-4 here. Miami will step on their throats and twist the knife. Miami by 10. |
11-01-21 | Thunder v. Clippers -11 | 94-99 | Loss | -106 | 13 h 27 m | Show
DMack Monday NBA Power Pack winner is on the Clippers Kobe is not coming through that door till after the first of the year if that so the Clippers had better not let that 1-4 start get too out of hand so that they are to buried to make a move. Winning the layups like games against OKC is going to be essential and a 20-point win here would be just the thing to maybe get some swagger back. Clippers 119-96. |
11-01-21 | Nuggets +2 v. Grizzlies | 97-106 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 53 m | Show
DMack Monday NBA Power Pack winner is on the Denver Nuggets The Nuggets have been rock solid all year with just an inexplicable loss to Cleveland as the only blemish on their card. They face a Grizz team that will challenge for a 6-7-8 spot in the very tough West but still have the outstanding Ja Morant who can be any kind of a player barring injury. Denver till, too big with too many options, and even catching points so just asking Nugs to win. Denver by 6-8. |
11-01-21 | Raptors v. Knicks -6.5 | 113-104 | Loss | -106 | 11 h 31 m | Show
DMack Monday NBA Power Pack winner is on the NY Knicks The long suffering Knicks have made some excellent additions to their roster, especially adding role players that can score while playing within Tibs defensive scheme. The Raptors are in a rebuild but have overachieved to this point, especially on the road where the Barneys ar 2-0. That ends tonight under the pressure of a very good and deep Knick team that is relentless throughout. |
10-31-21 | Kings v. Mavs -4.5 | 99-105 | Win | 100 | 6 h 21 m | Show
DMACK'S SUN NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Dallas Mavericks Both teams are 3-2 and looking to make their way in the ultra-competitive NBA West. The Kings strangely enough are 3-0 on the road but face a Mav outfit that is 2-0 at home and come at you in waves. In Thursday's win over the Spurs, Jason Kidd used every one of his eligible players after the Mavs went down 25-5 to open the game. Dallas has had time here and should be sharp start to finish with Luka leading the way. Look for Mavs to cool of ex-mate Harrison Barnes (who is averaging an unsustainable 25 ppg.) enroute to a 10-14 point win. |
10-31-21 | Coyotes v. Hurricanes -1.5 | 1-2 | Loss | -140 | 8 h 29 m | Show
DMACK'S NHL PLAY OF THE DAY is the Carolina Hurricanes Puckline The Arizona Coyotes are a nightmare, 0-7-1 to start the season with just 12 goals and 27 goals against. Six of their eight losses are by multiple goals so this is a team in complete freefall. The Canes are 7-0 having scored 31 goals while allowing just 11 and along with Florida, look to be the best two teams in the East if not in hockey. There are no red flags, situational spots, or possible injury concerns that would make you think that this would be anything other than a beat down. Unless Carolina read the papers and comes out pancake flat, mitigating the -300 down to -140 with the puckline makes perfect sense. |
10-31-21 | Panthers v. Falcons -2.5 | 19-13 | Loss | -118 | 129 h 12 m | Show
DMACK's NHL WEEK VIII NFL POWER PACK WINNER is on the Atlanta Falcons The Falcons have won three of four to climb back to .500, averaging 29 ppg. The key to the Dirty Bird resurgence has been the offense which has also converted 25-43 of third downs. The Panthers by comparison have converted just 9 of their L42 first downs. while allowing 29 ppg. in their four straight losses. The Panthers were also outscored 80-35 in the second halves of those four losses, not good against a Matty Ice offense hitting on all cylinders. |
10-31-21 | Eagles v. Lions +3 | 44-6 | Loss | -100 | 129 h 55 m | Show
DMACK's NHL WEEK VIII NFL POWER PACK WINNER is on the Detroit Lions If there was ever a week for the hard trying Lions to break through, this is it. They're home against an Eagle team that has lost five of six and with a possible three of the first nine draft picks in next year's NFL draft would be well served to simply play out the string. Last week the Lions were in the Ram red zone five times and came away with just nine points. They should fare better here against an Eagle defense that has given up eight touchdowns in 19 opponent drives. Throw the stats and trends out the window, after this week, there will be no winless teams in the NFL. Detroit 27-20. |
10-31-21 | Titans -1 v. Colts | 34-31 | Win | 100 | 129 h 49 m | Show
DMACK's NHL WEEK VIII NFL POWER PACK WINNER is on the Tennessee Titans This is a big divisional game for both teams and both teams are playing well. Tennessee is 5-1 SU and ATS L6 while beating Buffalo and Kansas City the last two weeks. The Colts are 5-1 ATS L6 and have forced 15 turnovers (+9) over that span. The teams met in Week III and that basically tells us what we need to know. Tennessee won the first go around 25-16 outgaining the Colts 368-265 in the process. Indy also lost the game by double-digits despite being +3 in the all important turnover war. The Titans are rushing the ball for 164 per and should control this start to finish. Sure the Colts are home but the only team they've beaten on this field this year is the Texans. Tennessee 27-13. |
10-30-21 | Fresno State v. San Diego State | 30-20 | Loss | -110 | 115 h 47 m | Show
DMack's Week IX Late Power Pack winner is on the San Diego State Aztecs Fresno State and its quarterback are a Jeckyl and Hyde bunch that come up with some big efforts now and then. That said, they just as often throw in clunkers and face an elite defense here, especially a pass defense which is actually No.17 in the country. The Aztecs are in the Penn State and Iowa mold in that they don't have a big strike offense but can run the football with some pretty good backs and dictate the pace of the game. See a tight first half and then San Diego State exerting it's will to a 22-13 type of win. |
10-30-21 | Washington v. Stanford -2 | 20-13 | Loss | -110 | 115 h 45 m | Show
DMack's Week IX Late Power Pack winner is on the Stanford Cardinal Both teams were big time underachievers this year and bot are playing out the string but see more advantages with Stanford which come in off B2B conference road losses and a bye so they've had plenty of time to prepare for this. The Huskies came back to upset Arizona State last week and UWub just might be fat and happy with the horrific year they've had and the Apple Cup first and foremost on their mind. Stanford is the better team all around .... hopefully they'll play like it. Stanford 26-17. |
10-30-21 | Jazz -4 v. Bulls | 99-107 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 58 m | Show
DMACK'S SATURDAY NBA PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Utah Jazz The Jazz are the NBA's last unbeaten team and figure to star=y that way in large part to some Bull injuries. Chicago looked like it might be having a flashback to 30 years ago but thumb ligament damage (he's playing through it) and big man PF Patrick Williams who will be out until the playoffs. Jazz just cruising, winning a game every three days but get tested here with the Bucks up Sunday in a B2B. It doesn't matter. Utah 118-107. |
10-30-21 | Penn State v. Ohio State -18.5 | 24-33 | Loss | -110 | 112 h 2 m | Show
DMack's Week IX Late Power Pack winner is on the Ohio State Buckeyes Penn State is off a NINE, yes a 9, OVERTIME loss to Illinois and their coach has one foot out the door. The Nits scouldn't score in Cheetahs with a fist full of hundreds and they are facing a Buckeye bunch that is playing it's best right night and will be looking to rack up style points as well as the first playoff poll comes out Tuesday. Ohio State averaging 58 ppg. in last four, nuff said. |
10-30-21 | Iowa +3.5 v. Wisconsin | 7-27 | Loss | -110 | 104 h 26 m | Show
DMack's Week IX Power Pack winner is on the Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa had a much needed bye after getting hammered by Purdue two weeks ago. The Hawkeyes offense does not have much going for it but the defense and special teams are absolutely top notch. Wisconsin has played better the last month but has been overall disappointing all year. The Badgers are up against it here. Iowa 23-9. |
10-30-21 | Texas v. Baylor -2.5 | 24-31 | Win | 100 | 104 h 23 m | Show
DMack's Week IX Power Pack winner is on the Baylor Bears The Longhorns have lost two straight allowing 87 total points. The Horns are giving up 40.7 ppg. in their games away from Austin. Baylor very quietly has just one loss, that to Oklahoma State, and the Bear offense just posted 83 points in their last two wins. Same old song for Texas, they just can't trade points fast enough to keep up with what the give up. Baylor 48-37. |
10-30-21 | Cincinnati -24.5 v. Tulane | 31-12 | Loss | -110 | 104 h 21 m | Show
DMack's Week IX Power Pack winner is on the Cincinnati Bearcats It was simply a matter of time before the Bearcats came out flat and played a clunker. Cincinnati came back to beat Navy after a stale first half but that's bad news for Tulane who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Expect LOTS of style points here as Fickell knows they'll get run out of the playoffs, even by a two-loss Alabama. QB Desmond Ridder has BIG game here in a Cincinnati Bearcat 54-13 kind of win. |
10-29-21 | Clippers v. Blazers -2.5 | 92-111 | Win | 100 | 23 h 20 m | Show
DMACK'S FRIDAY NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Portland Trailblazers This is a short turnaround revenge game that saw the Clippers rip the Blazers 116-86 just four nights ago. Portland gets to return the the favor at the Rose Center where they've won their last two games by 29 and 20 points vs. Phoenix and Memphis. The Clippers are just 1-3 with the blowout win over the Blazers, the only notch on their belts. Revenge is never much of a consideration in the NBA but the 30-point spanking is still fresh on the mind of the Blazers. Just 2.5 on the home floor is reasonable to ask. Portland. |
10-28-21 | Jazz -9 v. Rockets | 122-91 | Win | 100 | 11 h 57 m | Show
DMACK'S NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Utah Jazz Good or bad, mostly bad, the first four Rocket games have not been close and all decided by double-digits. The Rockets rolled OKC and were beat by Boston by 20 in their two home games. The Jazz have had a dream schedule this point and are 3-0 with wins by 21-9-12 and have been off three days heading into this one. This is going to be a perfect tune up here for Utah move on from here to a weekend B2B with the Bulls and Bucks on Saturday and Sunday. Looking at a routine 12-15 point Utah win here. |
10-27-21 | Pacers -1 v. Raptors | 100-118 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 15 m | Show
DMACK's WEDS NBA PLAY OF THE DAY winner is on the Indiana Pacers Two 1-3 teams looking to get back on track with a win, each plays a completely different style. The Pacers are a shootout type of team that has been somewhat unlucky in the late going to this point. Indiana games are averaging 235+ while Toronto games average 199 per and that is skewed somewhat by their loss to Philadelphia. The Raptors are 0-3 at home and this is not a good matchup stylistically for the Barneys. The Pacers WILL get theirs but can Toronto trade and keep up. Probably not. Take the Pacers. |
10-26-21 | Nuggets v. Jazz -7 | 110-122 | Win | 100 | 20 h 34 m | Show
DMACK'S NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Utah Jazz Denver is still developing chemistry, without Jamal Murray and not in the greatest spot in back end of back-to back after bad home loss to Cleveland last night. The Jazz are 2-0 after two walkover and fresh as a daisy against a serious division rival here. Utah is talented and very deep and can throw different combos at you all night. This might be close in the first half for a while before the homies where the Nuggets down and win by 12-15. |
10-25-21 | Saints -4 v. Seahawks | 13-10 | Loss | -108 | 10 h 1 m | Show
DMACK'S SAINTS/SEAHAWKS MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM winner is on the New Orleans Saints The Seahawks have lost four of five and Russel Wilson will not start n this field for the first time in 10+ years. The Saints have scored 38-28-33 in their wins and 21 and 7 in their losses. Famous Jameis won't face much resistance here. This is also the Saints sixth city in six games so they haven't had the easies road. NOLA with extra time here off the bye and Payton, much like Andy Reid, has been a killer with extra time, in fact 10-3-1 ATS and 16-7 over the L3 years as road favorites. Lay it. |
10-25-21 | Bulls -2.5 v. Raptors | 111-108 | Win | 100 | 9 h 25 m | Show
DMACK'S NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Chicago Bulls The Bulls have a real nice mix burgeoning young superstars and quality role players and it's shown in their first three wins. Billy Donovan is the perfect mentor for this group and skys the limit as Bulls are back to prominence for the first time in 30 years. Toronto has overachieved to this point in the young season and is simply not athletic or deep enough to trade with the Bulls. Chicago by double-digits. |
10-24-21 | 76ers -7 v. Thunder | 115-103 | Win | 100 | 12 h 1 m | Show
DMACK'S SUNDAY NBA PLA OF THE DAY is on the Philadelphia 76ers Oklahoma City is bad. Very bad. Like 10 wins this year bad in the ultra-competitive NBA West. Philadelphia has handled the Ben Simmons fiasco as well as a team can. They've already beat the Pelicans by 20 in NOLA and no shame in not being able to hold off a salty Nets team that was sore from getting spanked at Milwaukee. Hopefully, the 76ers are ready to play cause here are going to be plenty of minutes up and down the bench in this 20 point win. |
10-24-21 | Eagles v. Raiders -3 | 22-33 | Win | 100 | 124 h 6 m | Show
DMACK'S NFL WEEK VII POWER PACK winner is on Las Vegas Raiders The Raiders circled the wagons last week after the Gruden fiasco and actually played their best game of the year to snap two game skid in a 34-24 win over Denver that was nowhere near as close as the final score. The Eagles have lost four of five and at this point might be well served tanking the rest of the way. Jalen Hurts is certainly not the solution and if they were to play their cards right, Philly could wind up with three of the first nine picks in this year's NFL draft. Derek Carr has een great this year and if the Raiders show last weeks resolve, they should win this game easily by double digits. Raiders 34-17. |
10-24-21 | Jets v. Patriots -7 | 13-54 | Win | 100 | 121 h 2 m | Show
DMACK'S NFL WEEK VII POWER PACK winner is on the New England Patriots. I don't think I was the only one caught off guard by the Jets lack of talent up and down the roster. The Flyboys had a decent preseason but it only took a couple of injuries to expose the Jets as the bottom five team they are. This is just their third road game and they were beat 19-14 at Carolina and 26-0 at Denver. They've been outscored 75-13 in the first half. Mac Brown hs made huge strides in six games of playing time and the Pat offense has scored 25 and 29 points the last two weeks. Expect to see a very patient, a very professional, surgical dissection of the Jets here. Call in 29-10 New England. |
10-24-21 | Panthers -2.5 v. Giants | 3-25 | Loss | -119 | 121 h 59 m | Show
DMACK'S NFL WEEK VII POWER PACK winner is on the Carolina Panthers Carolina has lost three straight after a 3-0 start against exactly the same typ of teams like the Giants. The Panther defense has given up 91 points in the current three game skid but if there was ever a team to get your swagger back against, it's the Giants. Big Blue is the worst kind of a mash unit and Matt Ruhle is too good a coach to not take full advantage. Away favorite is the nit the Panthers best spot but keep in mind that this is less than a FG and that the G-Men are 4-16 L20 as a home dog. This is a defining moment for Carolina and their 2021 season ... one way or the other. |
10-24-21 | Falcons -1.5 v. Dolphins | 30-28 | Win | 100 | 7 h 8 m | Show
DMACK'S NFL WEEK VII GAME OF THE WEEK winner is the Atlanta Falcons Neither team is very much but we do know this, the Falcons offense has gotten itself together and and is hitting on all cylinders. Matt Ryan was absolutely bludgeoned the first two weeks but the Dirty Birds have come around and have converted 19 of 30 third downs and Ryan has thrown 11 touchdowns since his last interception. The Dolphins are a mess after five straight losses and giving better than 32 per during that bad run. Tua was not bad in his London return but the Deshaun Watson situation is still hanging over the entire team and it creates not much of an atmosphere for winning. |

10-24-21 | Leicester v. Brentford | 2-1 | Win | 103 | 2 h 1 m | Show
DMack's EPL Game of the Week is on Leicester City Brentford has been decent since joining the EPL but might just be up against here. Leicester City has made a living beating the bottom of the table since their improbable championship run about five years. The Foxes have snapped out of a month long funk with two straight wins and Vardy and Company should do some business here against the new guys. |
10-23-21 | Pelicans v. Wolves -6 | 89-96 | Win | 100 | 19 h 43 m | Show
DMack's NBA Sat Power Pack winner is on the T-Wolves The Wolves may have turned the corner and are one of the best kept secrets in the West. Karl-Anthony is surrounded by some guys who can play and a lot of teams will be ambushed and find that out. The Pelicans are a jig saw puzzle with a Zion and other pieces missing. NOLA probably wishes the season would have started two weeks later as they don't want to get buried early. Not an easy spot on the road. T-Wolves by 15. |
10-23-21 | Heat -3.5 v. Pacers | 91-102 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 40 m | Show
DMack's NBA Sat Power Pack winner is on the Miami Heat The Heat had a couple of days off after waxing the Bucks in their home opener. The Pacers lost a tough up and down OT game at the Wiz last night, flew home, and face a fresh as a daisy Miami team here. The Heat have a lot to make right after last year's collapse and winning games like these are part of the process. |
10-23-21 | Temple +2.5 v. South Florida | 14-34 | Loss | -105 | 82 h 49 m | Show
DMACK'S NCAAF LATE SHOW BAILOUT winner is on the Temple Owls South Florida doesn't have a FBS win in nearly two years and blew it last week with a 31-20 lead over Tulsa only to allow a 99-yard drive and then the winner in the final minute. Temple is off a bye after getting smoked by Cincinnati where their only points came on a 55-yard FG. The Owls are a pretty good team and have the perfect opponent to get on track against and ultimately get bowl eligible. Temple wins this easy by two touchdowns. |
10-23-21 | Hawks v. Cavs | 95-101 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 44 m | Show
DMack's NBA Sat Power Pack winner is on the Atlanta Hawks The Hawks clubbed Dallas in their opener and get a sort touch in their first road game in the Cavs who are in second of back-to-back. The Hawks are supposed to take the next step this year and if they're going to do it, they have to win road games like this. |
10-23-21 | Clemson v. Pittsburgh -3 | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 100 h 45 m | Show
DMACK'S NCAAF WEEK VIII POWER PACK winner is on Pittsburgh This has been a strange year for Clemson. The defense is world class but the offense couldn't score with a fistful oh hundreds at Cheetahs. Pitt si good, very good, and if not for a burp at Western Michigan would be a Top 10 in the country. Proof, it that this is the first time that Clemson is an ACC dog since 2010 and it's to these Panthers. Forget history here, two very different teams on the chart. Looking for a double-digit win here for Pitt. Clemson couldn't get it right last week off their bye vs. Syracuse. They won't get it down here. |
10-23-21 | Rice v. UAB -23 | 30-24 | Loss | -109 | 100 h 47 m | Show
DMACK'S CUSA Game of the Year is on the UAB Blazers Rice is 2-4 with their wins vs. an FCS school and a 5-point win over a sad Southern Miss crew. The Owls weren't competitive in their money games vs. Texas, Arkansas, and Houston which was to be expected but they were also mauled 45-0 by surprising USTA last week. UAB is rolling and just two weeks ago beat that same Southern Miss team 34-0, calling off the dogs early in the second half. The Blazers have won the last four in the series, covering three, and the won the last three matchup by 15+ points. UAB has a habbit of taking care of business and is 16-6-1 L23 as a home favorite and won't miss a chance of extending late here with the meat of the schedule coming up. UAB 45-10. |
10-23-21 | Western Michigan -2.5 v. Toledo | 15-34 | Loss | -109 | 100 h 38 m | Show
DMACK'S NCAAF WEEK VIII POWER PACK winner is on the Western Michigan Broncos After getting hammered by the Michigan Wolverines in their fits game, Western Mich has been near perfect other than a blip vs. Ball State where they killed by turnovers and big plays as most teams are. Their five wins have been dominating and they include a win over Top 25 Pitt. Toledo is arguably the biggest disappointment in college football this year. The Rockets are yet to pass a test despite 20 returning starters including 6 that were first team All-MAC last year. Western is bog and physical on both sides of the line and that the difference here. Western Michigan 38-27. |
10-23-21 | Texas State v. Georgia State -10.5 | 16-28 | Win | 100 | 11 h 29 m | Show
DMACK'S NCAAF WEEK VIII POWER PACK winner is on Georgia State Panthers Georgia State had pretty good reviews coming into the season but the Panthers couldn't get anything going early in their money games with North Carolina and Auburn and then getting spanked by Army and App State early. The Panthers do have decent wins vs Charlotte and a 30-point win over Monroe which just upset Liberty as a 30-point dog. Hard to figure Texas State as half the team was ravaged by Covid but have battled through with OK results. The Bobcats are just up against it here and are playing in a tough venue where the hosts are 5-1 ATS in L6. Georgia State 37-19. |
10-22-21 | Colorado State -3 v. Utah State | 24-26 | Loss | -110 | 33 h 32 m | Show
DMACK'S FRI MOUNTAIN WEST BANKROLL BUILDER winner is on the Colorado State Rams Colorado State has seemingly found its way after an inexplicable slow start. The Rams returned 19 starters that include 91 starts by offensive linemen. That said, the Rams have won their last two games scoring 32 and 36 points, against their own kind, and have held their last four opponents to less than 300 yards of total offense. The Rams have been outgained by an opponent just once that was Iowa so this team is definitely a work in progress. In this matchup we find a CSU team that is 11-6 L17 as a road favorite against a Utah State team that is just 2-10 L12 as a home dog and the Aggie three wins against Div-I competition has been by just 11 combined points. CSU gets the job done. |
10-22-21 | Raptors v. Celtics -6.5 | 115-83 | Loss | -107 | 17 h 46 m | Show
DMACK'S NBA PLAY OF THE DAY is on the Boston Celtics The Toronto Raptors are going to be in a world of hurt this year. The play good defense but have absolutely NOBODY to get them any substantial points. That was more than evident in their 98-83 loss the the Wizards in their opener. Boston lost a 138-134 2X OT thriller to the Knicks but the Celtics are a work in progress and just starting to get healthy and playing together. Boston should have no trouble scoring on the Barneys. Lay the points. |
10-21-21 | San Jose State -5 v. UNLV | 27-20 | Win | 100 | 37 h 7 m | Show
DMACK'S MOUNTAIN WEST THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER winner is on San Jose State I've lived here since 1991 and have experienced the nightmare that is UNLV football. It's sad because the kids try hard, the facilities have been upgraded, but the mantra seems to be an endless "Close but no cigar". For some reason, oddsmakers seem to think that the Rebels are playing the the 2015 San Jose State rather than the excellent program they'll see tonight in the Spartans who have been competitive with all comers the last three years. UNLV has not won a game (0-12) under it's present coach. They have a pretty good running back in Charles Williams but he's a fifth year kid brought in by Tony Sanchez years ago. San Jose State gets a rare TV plug here and makes the most of it. Call this one 27-13. |
10-20-21 | Coastal Carolina -4.5 v. Appalachian State | 27-30 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 18 m | Show
DMACK's SUNBELT CONFERENCE WEDNESDAY WINDFALL winner is on the Coastal Carolina Chants App State is down for the first time in many years and it showed in front of a national TV audience las week when the Mounties were crushed by Louisiana. This was confirmed when the Ragin' Cajuns rushed for 246 yards in App State's 10 returning starters. Coasta Carolina has come around after a somewhat slow start, blitzing three tomato cans by a 161-29 margin. The Chants are ranked No.14 this week and playing for a New Years Eve bowl the rest of the way. Coasta rushes for 262 per game so they were probably smiling watching last week's Mountie game film. Coastal won't take anything for granted being on the road at a VERY tough place to play. That said, if the Chants are ready and take care of their business, they should win by two touchdowns. |
10-19-21 | Nets +1.5 v. Bucks | 104-127 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 27 m | Show
DMACK'S NBA FIRST BLOOD WINNER is on the Brooklyn Nets Love the Nets here. Sure Kyrie the problem child is out here if it wasn't going to be a vax problem it would have been a groin, hammy, or mental health issue. Gimme a 100% Kevin Durant and James Harden who will be playing together "whole" for the first time and with a stronger supporting cast then last year. The Buck will be fine but the first homie off the the championship has always been a problem for most team and a bet in the dark in most cases, Remember the Lakers getting crushed by the Clippers last year. Brooklyn by 10. |
10-18-21 | Bills -6 v. Titans | 31-34 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 29 m | Show
DMACK'S BUFF/TENN MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM winner is on the Buffalo Bills Normally, when a number is out of the barn like this one, we'd just move along and pass. Not here. The Bills defense has been money giving up just six touchdowns in its opponents L53 drives. The offense is hitting on all cylinders and has won and covered four straight while averaging better than 39 ppg. Their last three games, the Bills are +11 in turnovers. The way to beat the Titans is to take Derrick Henry out of the game. The Bills are probably one of just three teams that can do it. The Titans have just one touchdown of more than 18 yards and they're not going to be able to grind it out here. Buffalo 30-13. |
