10-17-21 | Cowboys -3 v. Patriots | 35-29 | Win | 100 | 56 h 8 m | Show
DMack's NFL Week IV Power Pack winner is on the Dallas Cowboys Dak has not missed a beat since returning from that gruesome leg injury an ex-Atlanta Falcon HC Dan Quinn has straightened out the Poke defense to the point that they can at least stop a light breeze. Actually, they're pretty good and top half of the league and in a division that they are getting ready to make a shambles of. The Pats have been playing excellent defense themselves and should keep this close but not will to keep relying on Mac to keep overachieving and keeping these roadies close. Dallas 30-20. |
10-17-21 | Chargers +3 v. Ravens | 6-34 | Loss | -115 | 84 h 55 m | Show
DMACK'S NFL DOG BITE winner is on the Los Angeles Chargers. The Ravens are off a short week and a life and death win over the Indianapolis Colts, a game they had no right winning. They would have lost by three touchdowns if they were to face the more complete team they face today. Herbert is going to be a star, is already a star, and could be an all-timer. He has plenty of weapons and decent and getting better offensive line. Sure the Ravens are on a current 9-2 ATS roll but the Bolts can leave it on the field here and take that momentum into a big second half. Sure the Super Chargers are just 1-6 ATS prior to their L7 byes but this is a totally different team that is mych better coached than the most recent Anthony Lynn edition. |
10-17-21 | Vikings -2.5 v. Panthers | 34-28 | Win | 100 | 40 h 33 m | Show
DMack's NFL Week VI Power Pack winner is on the Minnesota Vikings Two things that describe the Vies season to this point. They've lost their two road games by a combined four points and they've been outscored 45-6 in the final two minutes of each half. Other than that and the Dalvin Cook injury, the Vikes are a playoff team. Cousins is having a quietly good year and there have been a ton of distractions. Carolina has come back to the field after opening with three straight wins. Nice story with Darnold and Rivera but just not enough talent in Charlotte yet to beat good teams on a regular basis. Vikings 22-13. |
10-16-21 | TCU v. Oklahoma -13.5 | 31-52 | Win | 100 | 16 h 42 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Can of Whup Ass Play is on the Oklahoma Sooners Regardless of who is quarterbacking the Sooners, this might be the week you Oklahoma live up to all it's preseason hype. They have the perfect team to get healthy against in the TCU horned Frogs who have given up 835 rushing yards in losing two of it's last three. Oklhoma has won five games by seven or less but last week ran for 200+ yards and just might turning the corner here. Lincoln Riley would like nothing better than to put all the nonsense to bed for good and what better way than to bury somebody 55-14. You just might see that type off offensive explosion here and with defense and special teams doing its part as Oklahoma post it's best performance of the year. |
10-16-21 | UAB -16 v. Southern Miss | 34-0 | Win | 100 | 11 h 18 m | Show
DMACK's NCAAF CONFERENCE USA GAME OF THE WEEK winner is on UAB Southern Miss was not all that much and now they're a train wreck thanks to multiple injuries that include their two best quarterbacks. UAB is a nice program that often flies under-the-radar thanks to their low profile. The Blazers should be licking their chops, especially the defense. Southern Miss is rushing for just 38 ypg. in their last four games. The Eagle OL has allowed a whopping 28 sacks already, UAB got eight last week in their game vs. FAU. The Blazers offense does some good things and should handle a Southern Miss defense that could not stop UTEPs ground and pound last week. UAB 44-13. |
10-16-21 | Rutgers -2 v. Northwestern | 7-21 | Loss | -110 | 64 h 8 m | Show
DMACK'S NCAAF GAME OF THE MONTH winner is on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights The Northwestern Wildcats are among the most disappointing teams in college football and have been reduced from Big Ten division champs to the conference bottom-feeder. Nebraska took out their frustrations on the Cats in a gold old fashioned behind the woodshed beat down. Rutgers will love this weeks drop in class after going 0-3 through the Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State gauntlet. Rutgers opened the dog and was bet up ... the Knights 6-0 as a dog since the return of Schiano to Piscataway. It won't be pretty as Rutgers wins 26-13 but for you it looks like just 54-7. Rutgers start to finish, wire-to-wire. |
10-15-21 | Marshall -11 v. North Texas | 49-21 | Win | 100 | 47 h 28 m | Show
DMACK'S FRIDAY NCAAF BANKROLL BUILDER winner is on the Marshall Thundering Herd. The homestanding Mean Green have lost four straight after blowing out a FCS school in their opener. No breaks here meeting a Marshall team looking to get it's own swagger back. In fact, The Herd snapped a tough three game run with a 20-13 win over Old Dominion but will look to get their offense going against a team that has allowed 147 points in it's L4 and that includes holding La Tech to 24. True, Marshall plays for the 7th straight week but they have 15 days off after prior to five VERY winnable games that would leave them 9-3 and in line for a decent bowl game. Marshall 37-20. |
10-12-21 | Appalachian State -5 v. UL-Lafayette | 13-41 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 7 m | Show
DMACK's TUES SUNBELT SUPER PLAY: APP ST vs. ULL winner is Appalachian State This is a revenge spot for the Mounties who lost to the Cajuns last year after winning eight prior in the series. Two experienced teams but where as App State seems to get better each week, Louisiana has never found it mojo from last year despite 20 returning starters. The Cajuns were outgained by 100 yards in a 20-18 over a pedestrian South Alabama team in last and take a HUGE jump in class vs. 4-1 team whose only loss was bt two points at Miami, Fla. The books realised early on that the Cajuns aren't all that so the number, though higher than we'd like it, is reasonable and about right. |
10-11-21 | Colts v. Ravens -7 | 25-31 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 56 m | Show
DMACK'S COLTS/RAVENS MONDAY NIGHT MAGIC winner is on the Baltimore Ravens This is the third straight road game for Indy, a traditionally tough spot from a handicapping aspect. The Colts are battered on the offensive line and that has proven out in their numbers, 9-27 on third down in their two road games and 31st in points scored in red zone possessions. Indy has been in those games based solely on creating seven turnovers and are +4. The Ravens have won three straight and are 16-8-1 ATS off their L25 wins. The Ravens are 4-1 L5 in the series winning the last three games by 14-15-7. Not anxious to lay a full touchdown with the Ravens but there is little to nothing tp recommend on the Colts. Baltimore 26-10. |
10-10-21 | Bills +3 v. Chiefs | 38-20 | Win | 100 | 117 h 45 m | Show
DMack's Bills/Chiefs Late Show Bail out Winner is on the Buffalo Bills This is a rematch of last year's AFC Championship game won by the Chiefs 38-24. Looking for Buffalo to make a statement here against a Chief team that just can't stop anyone on defense. Kansas City ranks between 30-32 (last or near last) in every valid defensive handicapping metric and face a Buffalo team that has scored 118 points in three games since their opening day debacle against the Steelers. Kansas City split it's first four games despite Mahomes still generating 33.3 ppg. That might not be the case here against a Bills defense that has give up just 4 TDs in the L43 drives they have faced. Buffalo 37-30 |
10-10-21 | Giants +7.5 v. Cowboys | 20-44 | Loss | -130 | 73 h 57 m | Show
DMack's NFL Week V 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the NY Giants This is simply too many points to be giving a Big Blue team that is starting to hit on all cylinders behind Daniel Jones. Dak will get his but when you consider that the G-Men are 8-2 in the their L10 as a division road dog and that the last three Giants games were decided by three or less point or in overtime. the Giants are 18-4 as a road dog period in all away from hone propositions. The Giants stay within the fill touchdown and a hook. |
10-10-21 | Saints -1 v. Washington Football Team | 33-22 | Win | 100 | 109 h 13 m | Show
DMACK'S WEEK V NFL GAME OF THE WEEK winner is on the New Orleans Saints The Saints play their fifth game in five different cities and you can't help but think that poor logistics has a lot to so with New Orlean's 2-2 start. Major edge to Sean Payton here and that will be the difference. When New Orleans gets in the red zone, they score touchdowns. That's 11 in 12 tries this year. Jameis should do some business against the WFT whose defense is allowing opposing offenses to convert 59% of their third downs. The Saints are 16-7 ATS in L23 as a road fave, 12-3 ATS in their L15 games where the spread was +-3, and can leave it on the field here with a bye (4-1 ATS L5 prior) next week |
10-10-21 | Packers -3 v. Bengals | 25-22 | Push | 0 | 69 h 7 m | Show
DMack's NFL Week V 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the Green Bay Packers The Bengals are 3-1 this year and have been doing what good teams do ..... figuring out ways to win. Burrow has been really good and has meshed with former teammate Chase to become a formidable go to. Aaron Rodgers has posted 30 points per game for the Packers following their Week I debacle with the Saints. Cinn is improved but by how much i too soon to tell. There aren't many times you'll get Aaron Rodger at less then a FGvs. a young team. Lay it. |
10-10-21 | Broncos -1 v. Steelers | 19-27 | Loss | -108 | 5 h 15 m | Show
DMACK'S NFL WEEK V LATE STEAM RELEASE is on the Denver Broncos Teddy Bridgewater being cleared to play puts this game in a whole new prospective. With Bridgewater, the Broncos run a controlled offense that moves the chains and does not turn the ball over which is exactly the type of team that has success against the Steelers. Big Ben is a spent shell and the Steelers are left with next man up because of their many key injuries. Look for Denver to break the Steelers down late and extend to a 1-14 point win in the fourth quarter. |
10-10-21 | Jets +3 v. Falcons | 20-27 | Loss | -120 | 66 h 39 m | Show
DMack's NFL Week V 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the NY Jets Both teams have struggled and bot team here are struggling with multiple injuries. The Jets were resilient in their first win of they year at Tennessee. The Falcons gave one away against the WFT in most recent and will likely working behind the eight ball here. This is the first time in London for both teams. Jets HC Robert Salah has done it three times as an assistant so he might have a better idea of how to get it done logistically. Jets 23-17. |
10-09-21 | UCLA -16 v. Arizona | 34-16 | Win | 100 | 55 h 6 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Week VI 3-Game Power Pack Late winner is on the UCLA Bruins UCLA came up with another inexplicable dud in last week's home loss to Arizona State. After the Bruins came up with a similar performance in a loss to Fresno State, they followed that up by drubbing a much better Stanford team in Palo Alto. Can't see any reason that wouldn't happen again here against a Pac 12 bottom of the barrel Arizona Wildcat team. Arizona has scored 19 points or less in 7 straight games and are just 2-9 ATS L11 on their home field. UCLA can name the score and will. |
10-09-21 | Alabama -17.5 v. Texas A&M | 38-41 | Loss | -109 | 22 h 48 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Linesmaker Error winner is on the Alabama Crimson Tide The Aggie do not produce a lot f points at 100% and now we're asking A&M to trade with the Tide with quarterback issues. It won't happen. The Aggie defense which is the only thing left that could keep them in this game has allowed 900+ yards the last two weeks, not exactly what you want to see before Alabama. Btyce Yound now has a 12-1 TD/INT ratio and just not turning the ball over. All Bama here ... call it 45-10. |
10-09-21 | Notre Dame +1 v. Virginia Tech | 32-29 | Win | 100 | 52 h 7 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Week VI 3-Game Power Pack Late winner is on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Virginia Tech is off a bye off a ho-hum win over FCS Richmond and a loss at West Virginia. In short, the Hokies have not reproduced the effort in their win over North Carolina back on the first week of the season. Easy thinking here. Notre Dame never showed up in their showdown with Cincinnati and it couldn't have been much fun at Irish practice this week. Notre Dame is better in all three aspects of the game, offense, defense, special teams and getting points however small. Expect Notre Dame to get back into the win column with an easy wire-to-wire win here. |
10-09-21 | Michigan -3.5 v. Nebraska | 32-29 | Loss | -104 | 52 h 5 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Week VI 3-Game Power Pack Late winner is on the Michigan Wolverines The Wolverines are are 5-0 and 2-0 in the Big Ten by exerting their will over their opponents. They are averaging 144 more yards more than their opponents allow per game, defensively they give up 132 yards yards less than their opponents generally produce. Expect Nebraska keep this game a game for a half before Michigan breaks the Husker will and extend to a late double-digit win. |
10-09-21 | UTEP -2 v. Southern Miss | 26-13 | Win | 100 | 52 h 4 m | Show
DMACK'S NCAAF UNDER THE RADAR SUPER PLAY winner is on the UTEP Miners UTEP is 4-1 for the first time since 2010 and the Miners are playing some pretty good football. They are not great by any means and were blown out at Boise but they've beaten four teams they were supposed to beat somewhat comfortably and their power running game and sold defense will always keep the Miners in games like this. Southern Miss has won five straight in the series but might be in for some payback here. The Golden Eagles are down to their third string quarterback and he'll be protected by an offensive line that has already yielded 23 sacks. This is a good spot for UTEP before facing the meat of their schedule. A win here and some very winnable games late could have the Miners in a bowl for the first time in a ling time. UTEP 31-10. |
10-09-21 | Oregon State -3.5 v. Washington State | 24-31 | Loss | -110 | 89 h 41 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Week VI Early 3-Game Power Pack winner is on the Oregon State Beavers The 4-1 Beavers obviously learned a lot in their opening game loss at Purdue. OSU followed up that loss with kill shot wins over Hawaii and Idaho and then won easily at USC and beat Washington at home. Wazzou is off a nice win at Cal but were spanked at home by USC and Utah. This is not an A+B =C play. Oregon State is the better team by double-digits. |
10-09-21 | SMU -13.5 v. Navy | 31-24 | Loss | -104 | 89 h 35 m | Show
DMack's Week VI NCAAF Can of Whup Ass winner is on the SMU Mustangs Navy should be winless at this point at 0-4. If you think the Midshipmen turned the corner last week in beating UCF, consider that the Knights were without their starting QB, RB, top WR, and four defensive starters. Navy still trailed by 14 late in the third before rallying. SMU (5-0) and QB Tyler Mordecai (70%, 1569, 24/6) are killers and onlt their road wins at La Tech and TCU are by less than 24 points. Navy is Navy and will fight like hell being supremely coached by Coach Ken but at the end of the day, Navy will not be able to keep up with the Stangs quick strike offense. SMU stays undefeated with a 49-23 type win here. |
10-09-21 | Georgia -14.5 v. Auburn | 34-10 | Win | 100 | 88 h 30 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Week VI 3-Game Early Power Pack winner is on the Georgia Bulldogs The Georgia Bulldogs have won their four games by a 205-23 aggregate and seem destined to meet Bama in the SEC championship game. The Dawgs have played their starts sparingly and won last week with their second quarterback. Auburn has been fine with their lone loss at Penn State. They have a veteran QB with 29 starts in Nix but are simply overmatched here. Georgia is 7-1 in the L8 in the series and the favorite is 9-3 in the L12 meetings. This Georgia defense is special. Georgia 35-10. |
10-09-21 | Wake Forest -5.5 v. Syracuse | 40-37 | Loss | -120 | 88 h 25 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Week VI 3-Game Early Power Pack winner is on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Syracuse has plenty of experience and has played well but their I-A wins are over Ohio and Liberty and lost to previously winless Florida State last week, a game they basically trailed throughout. Wake is 5-0 and ranked No.19 in the AP having scored 35+ points in every game this year. The Deacs are equally experienced returning 20 starters and 102 starts on the offensive line. Wake Forest is for real and with Army and Duke on deck, the Deacs can take this a long way before they meet the meat of their schedule. Wake by 13. |
10-08-21 | Stanford +12 v. Arizona State | 10-28 | Loss | -100 | 72 h 2 m | Show
DMack's Friday Stan/ASU Pac12 Super Play is on the Stanford Cardinal Stanford is on a short week after it's OT win over Oregon while the Sun Devils are off a big win at UCLA to improve to 4-1. The Cardinal has won six of the last seven in the series and has done some pretty good work on the road including an upset win over USC after getting mauled by Kansas State in it's opener. If Stanford can rush the football with any success and get some pressure Sun Devil QB Daniels who has a propensity to turn the football over, Stanford not only has a big shot to cover but also to win straight up. 27-23 whatever. |
10-07-21 | Rams -2 v. Seahawks | 26-17 | Win | 100 | 6 h 9 m | Show
DMack's NFL Thursday Night Thunder winner is on the Los Angeles Rams Like the Rams to snap out of it after getting hammered by the Cards last week. That was a real soft spot for the Rams after absolutely dominating Tampa Bay the week before. Seattle has split four games, living and dying by the big play. The Ram defense has been a bit out of sorts in last two but has never been bothered by Russ with LA 6-2 last eight in the series. Should be plenty of points here but when the smoke clears, it's the Rams that will be the last man standing. |
10-07-21 | Houston -5.5 v. Tulane | 40-22 | Win | 100 | 45 h 39 m | Show
DMack's Thursday Night Thunder winner is on the Houston Cougars Tulane has played a tough schedule to this point but has suffered from facing big offense after big offence. It doesn't get better here facing a Houston Cougar outfit that finally looks like it has figured things out and comes with a VERY tough defense on the other side. The Wave and this coach has been very successful in the home dog role but ..... new year and a new team and this year's Tulane team has been getting beat up early and with any success coming in garbage time late when the game has already for the most part already having been decided. Houston 43-27. |
10-04-21 | Raiders v. Chargers -3 | 14-28 | Win | 100 | 36 h 40 m | Show
DMACK'S MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM winner is on the Chargers The Raiders are off to a fast 3-0 start with two wins in OT. Derek Carr is getting some early MVP run but the Magic Bus stops here. Past Charger trends are not valid here as the Bolts are a completely new animal with Justin Herbert. The Super Chargers are converting better than 50% (23-42) of their third downs and Bolt wide outs Mike Williams and Keenan Allen should do some big business against a soft Raider back seven. The Chargers are for real and win this one by 7-10 points. Lay it. |
10-03-21 | Bucs -7 v. Patriots | 19-17 | Loss | -102 | 46 h 41 m | Show
DMack's Tampa Bay/Pats Sunday Night Magic winner is on the Tampa Bay Bucs Brady makes his return to Foxboro in this long anticipated Sunday Night showdown. Sadly for the Pats though, it will be all business on the Tampa Bay side, especially after getting manhandled by the Rams last week snapping the Bucs 10-game win streak over two years. Mac Jones looked ver ordinary in throwing three picks against the Saints last week and meets a very formidable pass rush here. Who would know how to pick apart the Pat defense better than the quarterback that led them for 18 years. Rookie QB's started the week 1-10 ATS before Trevor Lawrence Thursday. Tampa Bay 38-17. |
10-03-21 | Steelers v. Packers -6.5 | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 79 h 12 m | Show
DMACK'S NFL WEEK IV PERSONAL BEST is on the Green Bay Packers The Steelers are off a stunning home loss to the Bengals in a game that Cincinnati basically did whatever it wanted. Pittsburgh was short-handed for sure with multiple starters out including T.J. Watt. It looks like Watt will be back but not the others and they'll face a Packer team that is just starting to hit stride now after three games and should only be better here at home at Lambeau Field. Rodgers can only be better now as he pretty much worked out the kinks and close to his top form. Pittsburgh was able to upset Buffalo on the road in Week One but that won't happen here. Green Bay wins this by double-digits. |
10-03-21 | Titans -6 v. Jets | 24-27 | Loss | -110 | 38 h 26 m | Show
DMack NFL Power Pack winner on the Tennessee Titans The Titans will be somewhat short-handed here to be sure but that should not keep Tennessee from controlling this game start to finish and getting out of Dodge with a routine double-digit win. After getting spanked in their opener, the Titans have rushed the football for 392 yards in their two subsequent wins. The Jets have scored two touchdowns in 32 drives and have been outscored 46-3 in their first halves. To make matter worse, the Titans have outscored their opponents 35-12 in the second half as Henry gets stronger every second half carry. Big edge to Vrabel on the sidelines. Tennessee 27-10. |
10-03-21 | Panthers v. Cowboys -4 | 28-36 | Win | 100 | 38 h 25 m | Show
DMack NFL Power Pack winner on the Dallas Cowboys The Panthers are 3-0 but take a huge step up in class here, especially in opposing quarterback. The Panther have allowed just 30 points and 191 yards per but is Carolina that good or their opponents that bad. The Cowboys are 3-0 ATS and scoring 30 ppg. behind Dak Prescott. The poke defense is a work in progress but has been on the improve weekly under new DC Dan Quinn. Panthers will be without the oft-injured McCaffrey here, home field negates shot week for the Cowboys who win this by 10. |
10-02-21 | Fresno State -10.5 v. Hawaii | 24-27 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 24 m | Show
DMACK's NCAAF WEEK V LATE SHOW BAIL OUT winner is on the Fresno State Bulldogs Hawaii has done some nice things but at the end of the day is just a hit or miss .500 Mountain West outfit. The Warriors don't even throw the ball anymore like we've become accustomed to. Gonna give Fresno a mulligan for sleepwalking through UNLV last weekend. They were off bug UCLA win and never really got going at any point in the game. Haener is a big time gunslinger that will do some business here. Line is skewed to our advantage as this number would be closer to 21 if not for the dud in Vegas. UCLA is a common opponent at the Rose Bowl ..... Fresno wins 40-37, Hawaii loses 44-10. Fresno State wins this 45-20. |
10-02-21 | Indiana v. Penn State -12.5 | 0-24 | Win | 100 | 69 h 0 m | Show
DMack's Big Ten Game of the Month winner is on the Penn State Nittany Lions Indiana had a magical season in 2020 but things have not gone as well in 2021 despite returning most of last year's team. The Hoosiers were smoked at Iowa and Cincinnati and were life and death to beat Western Kentucky, giving up 458 yards of offense to the Hilltoppers. Penn State plays nasty defense and have managed to score enough points to get by. The Nits have Iowa on deck in a No.4 vs. No.5 but that game will be meaningless if Penn State doesn't take of business at home. Like Penn State to win this by at least two touchdowns and cover this dead number. |
10-02-21 | Connecticut v. Vanderbilt -14.5 | 28-30 | Loss | -108 | 20 h 23 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Week V Power Pack winner is on the Vanderbilt Commodores This might be the only times in our lifetimes that we lay two touchdowns with Vandy, regardless of who they play. That's really indicative of how bad UConn really is. The Commodores can play a bit. They've faced the 18th strongest schedule in the country and don't belong playing Stanford and Georgia but they did come from 14 points down to beat Colorado State at Fort Collins. The Huskies showed some life last week vs. Wyoming but that was like the arm of a dead body twitching on a slab. UConn has a 10-point loss to Holy Cross and 45, 49, and 31 point losses to their other three FBS opponents. Vandy has this one chance to go out and abuse someone as if they were a real SEC team and will not let the home crowd down. Call this 44-17 Vandy. |
10-02-21 | Northwestern +12 v. Nebraska | 7-56 | Loss | -116 | 20 h 12 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Week V Power Pack winner is on the Northwestern Wildcats Nebraska has won three of four in the series including last year during Northwestern's magical 2020 run. The Huskers have played hard the last two weeks in losses to Oklahoma and Michigan State but the key word here is losses as Nebraska has never turned the corner with Scott Frost. Northwestern has underachieved in September but has taken steps for Pat Fitzgerald. If the Wildcats do what they do ...... run the ball, shorten the game, and play solid defense .... Northwestern will not only cover this close to two touchdowns, they'll have a chance to win. |
10-02-21 | Syracuse +4.5 v. Florida State | 30-33 | Win | 100 | 81 h 24 m | Show
DMack's Saturday College Football Dog Bite winner is on the Syracuse Orangemen Not sure how a 0-4 Florida State team is a more than a FG favorite over a pretty good outfit Syracuse outfit. How good is the Orange ??? Their lone loss was to a pretty good Rutgers teams and that game was 7-7 late into the third period. Syracuse is off an upset of a pretty good Liberty team. Florida State is not very good and with the no light at the end of the tunnel. The Seminoles were down 31-7 to Louisville last week before making a token run late that has been made more of that it actually was. Remember that the Sems have lost to FCS Jacksonville State and blasted at Wake. With at North Carolina and at Clemson sandwiched around a game with UMass on deck, the best Florida State can hope for to evade eight straight losses is a win over the Minutemen. Syracuse wins this straight up. |
10-02-21 | Ohio State v. Rutgers +15.5 | 52-13 | Loss | -106 | 16 h 28 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Week V Power Pack winner is on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. For whatever the reason, Rutgers and Greg Schiano go together like peanut butter and jelly. His first stint at Rutgers was the best run by the Scarlet Knights in 50 years and now, the second time around, the Knights are competitive and 9-4 ATS in Schiano's games, 4-0 ATS this year. Last week the Scarlet Knights held Michigan (who led the nation in rushing coming in) to just 112 yards in coming up short. This Ohio State team is far from the group of destroyers we've been used to in the past and dealing with issues themselves. Simply too many points here. |
10-01-21 | Iowa -4 v. Maryland | 51-14 | Win | 100 | 84 h 6 m | Show
DMack's Friday Night NCAAF Weekend Appetizer is on the Iowa Hawkeyes We learned some valuable lessons in September in college and pro football, lessons we can take with us the rest of the way. Iowa has been a destroyer to this point allowing just 44 total points in four games and we have multiple reasons to grab the Hawkeyes here. Maryland is undefeated but in all honesty has underachieved, beating teams like Illinois in games the Terps really should have won by double-digits plus. You could really make the same case for the Hawkeyes but Iowa has a top ten defense and a punishing, grind it out rushing attack. The number is low based on last week's ho hum effort vs. Colorado State and a showdown with Penn State on the 9th. In the end, in the Tigerhawks first two games against Indiana and Iowa State, Iowa dominated up front on both side of the ball. 4-0 Maryland will get Ferentz' attention and his team will be ready to play and win by double-digits setting up next week's No.4 vs. No.5. Iowa 27-17. |

09-26-21 | Bucs -1 v. Rams | 24-34 | Loss | -110 | 103 h 54 m | Show
DMACK'S WEEK III NFL GAME OF THE WEEK winner is on the Tampa Bay Bucs This is a possible playoff preview and one of the few obstacles in Tampa Bay's way to a perfect 17-0 season. Both teams are 2-0 despite neither playing anywhere near their best to this point. The Rams have had the best of this series but this is a brand new Buc outfit of sorts that has now won nine straight dating back to last year. Tom Brady has been Tom Brady and Mathew Stafford has not disappointed in two games with the Rams. At the end of the day, Brady just has so many more weapons and ways to win. There is no doubt that both teams are all in both are working in tight windows. That said, it's not life and death for either team but Tampa Bay is a team poised to make history and will find a way. Tampa Bay 27-20. |
09-26-21 | Washington Football Team v. Bills -7 | 21-43 | Win | 100 | 38 h 41 m | Show
DMack's NFL Week III Power Pack winner is on the Buffalo Bills The Bills were in a bad mood last week after losing their opener in Pittsburgh. Buffalo crushed Miami on the road and will be anxious to make amends to the homies after blowing a 10-0 halftime lead to the Steelers. The WFT defense isn't the unit that it was last year and Tyler Heinicke has found it tougher sledding than he did last year. Buffalo got the stinker out of their system in Week I and and are going to be hard to deal with the rest of the Way. Buffalo 34-14. |
09-26-21 | Ravens -7.5 v. Lions | 19-17 | Loss | -105 | 37 h 22 m | Show
DMack's NFL Week III Power Pack winner is on the Baltimore Ravens Short week for the Ravens who are off a huge confidence building win over the Chiefs. Lamar Jackson pretty much took matters into his own hands and has to like what he's seen while watching Lions game film. Despite their injuries at RB, the Blackbirds have still rushed for 440 yards. Lions on short week and Goff is 0-9/1-8 ATS as a starter under any coach not named McVay. Lions lost second half to the Packers last week and figure to fall to the grind here as well. The Ravens don't get cheated scoring touchdowns on 8 of 23 drives and cashing for 40 points in just six trips to the Red Zone. Add to the mix the sports best kicker and you have 14-17 point Baltimore win. |
09-26-21 | Falcons v. Giants -2.5 | 17-14 | Loss | -120 | 37 h 16 m | Show
DMack's NFL Week III Power Pack winner is on the NY Giants The Falcons are 0-2 having allowed 80 points as their opponents have posted touchdowns on 9 of 22 drives. The Dirty Bird offense is just 9-29 on third down so the defense has been on the field a long time. The Giants have had extra time off their Thursday night game and should be well prepared here. Daniel Jones has played relatively well and can hurt you with his arm and legs and should do some business against an Atlanta team that has been awful. The G-Men deserved a better fate last week but pick up their first win here the old fashioned way, they win by 10-14. |
09-25-21 | Arizona v. Oregon -28.5 | 19-41 | Loss | -106 | 25 h 7 m | Show
DMACK'S 3-GAME POWER PACK Winner is on the Oregon Ducks Even before their loss to regional rival Northern Arizona last week, Arizona was not very good. They're 0-3 at this point and that is with all their games at home. Today they face an Oregon team that is 3-0 and with a win over Ohio State but has not been very impressive in truth. Here, they face a Pac12 sacrifice that is just 5-17 L22 as any kind of a road dog. Oregon does have Stanford on the road in next but rather than going through the motions, lucking for the Ducks to put the pedal to the metal and look sharp in their conference opener. |
09-25-21 | California v. Washington -7.5 | 24-31 | Loss | -110 | 71 h 57 m | Show
DMACK'S SATURDAY NCAAF LATE SHOW BAIL OUT is on the Washington Huskies Cal is 0-2 vs. the FBS and then life and death to beat Big Sky Sacramento State. The Bears gave up 467 yards to the Hornets and will be facing a Washington team that found itself last week in a blowout win over a pretty good Arkansas State outfit. The Huskies early problems revolved around the offense but the defense has been pretty good all year. The 0-2 Washington start was one thing but the Dubs are still live in the Pac12 and will be a handful here. The Huskie offense will be doing plenty of business against a once staunch Cal defense but the Bears won't be able to score enough to keep up. Confident Washington rolls here and and we don't think it's going to be close. 32-10 Washington. |
09-25-21 | Kentucky -5 v. South Carolina | 16-10 | Win | 100 | 89 h 13 m | Show
DMack's SEC Game of the Month is on the Kentucky Wildcats This is not your garden variety Kentucky Wildcard team, play tough defense and then control the clock with a power running game. This year's Cats have a gunslinger at QB and and are still good on both sides of the line but A LOT more explosive. South Carolina is in a complete rebuild and have never been a strong home dog going just 3-8 the last four years. The Gamecocks have struggled recently in the series as will going 1-6 SU and ATS L7 facing a lot less than they'll see here today. Even playing in enemy territory, can't think of a single scenario where Kentucky doesn't win by multiple touchdowns. |
09-25-21 | Nebraska v. Michigan State -5 | 20-23 | Loss | -110 | 88 h 23 m | Show
DMACK'S 3-GAME POWER PACK Winner is on the Michigan State Spartans Nobody believes in the Spartans yet and people will be in for a rude awakening. Sparty spanked Northwestern in their opener and last week handled the Miami Hurricanes in South Beach with relative ease. Nebraska left it all on the field last week at Oklahoma and could be a bit beat up as well as being disappointed. The Huskers go as Martinez goes and the Mich State defense has just the answer. Michigan State 35-23. |
09-25-21 | Kent State v. Maryland -14 | 16-37 | Win | 100 | 103 h 45 m | Show
DMack's Interconference Game of the Month winner is on the Maryland Terrapins The Terps are very good and 3-0 but in all honesty played very poorly in last Friday's life and death 20-17 win over Illinois. Maryland pretty much did what it wanted but was hurt by big turnovers at the worst of times and never seemed to be able to put things together. The Turtle is home here with Iowa on deck Mike Locksley will want to have things cleaned up before the Hawkeyes. Taulia Tagovailoa might be better than his brother and will look to make amends for ho-hum effort at Champaign. Terps home here and facing a Kent team that tries hard and won't lay down but is completely overmatched stepping up against the bigs as evidenced by their blowout losses at Texas A&M and Iowa. The Flashes are 187th in the NCAA in total defense and allowing 215 ypg, on the ground (210th) and 214 ypg. through the air (141st), not good against a diverse Maryland offense that can do what it wants. Maryland 45-10. |
09-25-21 | Louisville v. Florida State | 31-23 | Win | 100 | 18 h 52 m | Show
DMACK'S 3-GAME POWER PACK Winner is on the Louisville Cardinals Louisville and QB Cunningham are getting better each start. The Cards played a pretty good Ole Miss team tough in their opener and comes off a bye after their upset of Central Florida. Florida State is in complete disarray and are starring down the barrel of their worst season since Bobby Bowden's first year in Tallahassee. The Seminoles back seven is horrific, giving up 289+ per game. Even on the road, can't see Louisville not winning by anything less than two touchdowns. |
09-24-21 | UNLV v. Fresno State -30 | 30-38 | Loss | -110 | 48 h 24 m | Show
DMack's Friday Night NCAAF Appetizer is on the Fresno State Bulldogs When you think of the worst professional sport franchise or college sport program, I promise you that they have nothing on the UNLV football program. It's especially sad for Las Vegan's as the kids try hard and a few are actually talented but that has yet to produce even one win for former Oregon assistant head coach Marcus Arroyo who is now 0-11. The Rebs were crushed by Iowa State 48-3 at Allegiant Stadium (The Deathstar, Raider Stadium) last week with te Cyclones bearly breaking a sweat. Fresno made thing tougher on themselves than UCLA, pretty much dominating throughout in an upset of the Bruins where they had 70% of the possession. Fresno has cracked the Top 25 and will want to stay there. The Bulldogs can name the score but for our purposes we'll call it 51-7. |
09-23-21 | Marshall +7 v. Appalachian State | 30-31 | Win | 100 | 33 h 19 m | Show
DMack's Thursday Night Bankroll Builder is on the Marshall Thundering Herd These teams are not strangers and in fact, this is their 24th meeting. Last year, Marshall won 17-7 but the new Thundering Herd connections have gone polar opposite from the Doc Holliday Marshall teams that played great defense and then found enough offense to score some points and win. App State appears to be looking for a shootout as well and that looks like what we'll see here. Last week, Marshall led East Carolina 38-21 in the fourth before losing 42-38. Can't help but think that meltdown was anything but an aberration and that Huff (a former Bama assistant) will get things cleaned up here. Taking the full touchdown makes perfect sense. |
09-20-21 | Orioles v. Phillies -1.5 | 2-0 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 17 m | Show
DMack's Monday MLB Super Best Bet is on the Phillies Run-Line MLB lines are pretty much out of control at this point but if you are looking for a game to mitigate the damage or maximize the win, this is the perfect spot. Baltimore is a horrific 8-36 in their L44 and 0-8 in games started by John Means (5.63 L7). Ranger Suarez has been razor sharp for the Phils, 1-0 with a 1.55 ERA in L5. The Phils are locked in the battle for a wild card spot in the National League where every win counts. If you think back to the O's recent 18-game losing streak, if you would have bet against Baltimore on the run-line in the first 15 of those games, you would have won 14 times. Phils run-line gets it done. |
09-19-21 | Chiefs -3.5 v. Ravens | Top | 35-36 | Loss | -107 | 41 h 20 m | Show |
DMack's Chiefs/Ravens SNF bailout is on the Kansas City Chiefs Lamar Jackson will start as a home dog for the first time in his NFL career. It's a short week for the Ravens who were beaten by the Raiders in OT on Monday night. The most disturbing part of that game was the Vegas' Derek Carr threw for 423 yards. The Ravens are 7-0-1 L8 as a single digit dog and 4-1 the L5 years as a home dog, again ... the loss wasn't a game that Jackson started. The Chiefs were fortunate to escape with a win last week after getting manhandled on both sides of the ball up front. They'll be looking to clean things up here and have had pretty much things their own way of late with Baltimore winning the last four meetings and averaging better than 32 ppg. in those games. At the end of the day, it comes down to this. Baltimore is ravaged by injuries and Jackson simply doesn't have the help or weapons to it himself. Mahomes has a full compliment of people and the Chief defense just has to be better with a game under it's belt. Kansas City by 14. |
09-19-21 | Vikings v. Cardinals -3.5 | Top | 33-34 | Loss | -105 | 86 h 53 m | Show |
DMack's Week II NFL Game of the Week winner in on the Arizona Cardinals The Vikings OT loss to Cincinnati in the Minnesota opener was extremely misleading as the Bengals had things in hand most of the way. The Vikes look to be in big trouble. Despite a ton of talent on the roster, there seems to be a lot of internal issues and divisiveness in the locker room, much of it revolving around QB Kirk Cousins. Arizona was lights out in blowing out a pretty good Tennessee team on the road. Cards major improvement has been on defense. Chandler Jones had a highlight reel game and the Arizona defense handled Derrick Henry rather easily. Kyler Murray is doing his thing and has so many weapons at this point, the Arizona offense is going to be a handful week in and week out. Would have loved to have the -2.5 opener, it was gone in a heartbeat from sharp and square money alike. Old adage says you were never as good or bad as your last game. The Arizona Cardinals are sneaky good! Cards by 10. |
09-19-21 | Saints -3 v. Panthers | 7-26 | Loss | -120 | 61 h 20 m | Show
Mack Attack Week II NFL Power Pack winners in on the New Orleans Saints Last week, Famous Jameis threw 5 TD passes against a pretty solid Packer defense and we're thinking that the best is yet to come. Technically, this is a great spot for New Orleans and they've always performed well in this spot. The Whodats are 18-6 L24 on natural grass, 16-6 L22 as a road favorite and 8-1 ATS L9 in NFC South road games. The Panthers played well enough to hold off the Jets last week but are 1-5-1 L7 as a home dog and 0-6 ATS in L6 home division games. New Orleans is 8-1 L9 in the series and has won four straight in Charlotte by an average of 30-10. Saints marching here. |
09-19-21 | Bills -3 v. Dolphins | 35-0 | Win | 100 | 61 h 4 m | Show
Mack Attack Week II NFL Power Pack winner in on the Buffalo Bills The Bill are gonna be livid about Pittsburgh loss, a game that they were in complete control and up 10-0 at the half. Miami survived the Pats at Foxboro despite being outgained by 140 yards. Tua is 7-3 as the Dolphin starting QB but Miami's confidence in him has been luke warm at best. The Bills have owned Miami in the Josh Allen era winning the last five meetings, four by double-digits. A very angry Buffalo team gets a big division road win here. |
09-19-21 | 49ers -3 v. Eagles | 17-11 | Win | 102 | 61 h 1 m | Show
Mack Attack Week II NFL Power Pack winners in on the San Francisco 49ers People always remember the last thing they saw and the last thing we saw of the Eagles was a pummeling of a poorly prepared Falcon team. The last thing that people remember about the 49ers was giving up 16 points in the final two minutes to step on a lot of money and kill a lot of exotic tickets. Garappolo was good against the Lions to improve to 25-8 as a starter. San Fran averaged 11 yards per pass attempt against Motown including EIGHT completions of 20+ yards. . Jalen Hurts gets the call and will be under much more pressure here. He was laughing at Atlanta but will be running for his life here. San Francisco wins by two touchdowns. |
09-18-21 | Fresno State +11.5 v. UCLA | 40-37 | Win | 100 | 48 h 31 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Late Show Bail Out is on the Fresno State Bulldogs During the Pat Hill Fresno State era, the Bulldog mantra was anyone, anytime, anywhere. This years Fresno State squad can back it up, waxing two stiffs and a 34-27 loss to Oregon in a game they outgained the Ducks but were hurt by turnovers. UCLA had bye off win over LSU. The Bruins have lost three straight in the series including 38-14 in 2018 but this is a different team. Even during the hard times of recent years, Fresno State has always played well on the road and is 8-2 L10 as a road dog. Too many points here and if UCLA is looking ahead to Stanford and Arizona State on deck, they could get beat straight up. |
09-18-21 | Stanford -12 v. Vanderbilt | 41-23 | Win | 100 | 45 h 41 m | Show
DMack's Late NCAAF Power Pack winner is the Stanford Cardinal Willing to give Stanford a mulligan for their opening loss at Kansas State after their dominating win over USC last week. Vandy came from down 14 to battle back and win on the road at Colorado State and might just be a bit fat and happy. The Commodores were beaten by FCS East Tennessee State in its opener. Shaw is a very respectable 21-13-1 as a road favorite and Shaw is certain to be prepared for the Cardinal first venture into SEC territory. Cards can name the score if they're dialed in. Lets call it 34-10. |
09-18-21 | Rice v. Texas -25.5 | 0-58 | Win | 100 | 41 h 38 m | Show
DMack's Late NCAAF Power Pack winner is the Texas Longhorns These two are old Southwest Conference foes and this is the 96th meeting between the schools. Not much to say here. Rice tries hard but is just overmatched by major programs like Texas. The Owls played Arkansas tough for a half before losing 35-17 and then got smoked by Houston 44-7. Texas was dominated by a fired up Arkansas team last week and will be in a foul mood to beat up a soft touch here. Rice is averaging 260 yards and 12 points a game and are not likely to score enough to stay within the number here. Texas rolls. |
09-18-21 | Virginia v. North Carolina -7.5 | 39-59 | Win | 100 | 40 h 15 m | Show
DMack's Late NCAAF Power Pack winner is the North Carolina Tar Heels North Carolina has lost four straight in the series and will be looking to make up for their opening debacle at Virginia Tech. UVa drilled Illinois at home last week but goes on the road to face a defense that allowed less than 300 yards of total offense to its first two opponents. North Carolina was a fringe pick to win the ACC and already behind the eight ball after the VTech loss. The Tar Heels are 6-1 L7 as a home favorite and expect Mack Brown to crack this week to have UNC on point to run the Cavaliers out. Lay it. |
09-18-21 | Arkansas State +17.5 v. Washington | 3-52 | Loss | -110 | 41 h 49 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF WEEK III DOG BITE winner is on the Arkansas State Red Wolves Washington is off to an 0-2 start with a loss to FCS Montana and a 31-10 loss at Michigan in a game the Huskies were never in. Common sense says to take UWub to blow out Sunbelt Arkansas State here right ??? Maybe not! Consider this ... the Red Wolves spanked FCS Central Arkansas in it's opener and then gave Memphis all it wanted in 55-50 loss. Ark State rolled to 680 yards last week and should do some business against the Huskies. Washington is not real explosive to begin with and will likely be short of receivers. Ark State went 3-0 ATS LY in non-conference play including a straight up win over Kansas State. This is a new regime in Seattle and that is just 1-5 ATS in six games. Might take a while for Washington's new scheme to kick in and the Red Wolf offense is a proven entity. Grab the points in a game that could go down to the final possession. |
09-18-21 | Colorado State v. Toledo -14.5 | 22-6 | Loss | -104 | 15 h 27 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF WEEK III CAN OF WHUP ASS winner is the Toledo Rockets Toledo should have beaten Notre Dame last week and did everything it could to give it away. The Rockets return 20 starters from last year including SIX All-MAC first team selections. No let down or hangover here ... an appreciative Toledo crowd will make sure of that. Colorado State is a trainwreck. Last week the Rams blew a 14-0 home lead to Vanderbilt and and got beat on a final play of the game FG by the Commodores. Toledo is an offensive machine that is hitting those magic 200/200 running /passing numbers and averaging 4.8 on the ground and completing 65% of it's passes. This is going to be a beat down .... believe it. |
09-18-21 | Alabama -15.5 v. Florida | 31-29 | Loss | -107 | 102 h 31 m | Show
DMACK's Saturday NCAAF Early Release winner is on the Alabama Crimson Tide Bama crushed Miami in it's opener and and then cruised in a money game vs. Mercer. The Gators dispatched FAU 35-14 and then basically no-showed the second half at South Florida. Both teams lost a bunch of starters from last so are still somewhat rebuilding/reloading. Florida has done a 360 on offense and now feature a power run game. Florida rushed for 764 yards in their first two games. They'll try Bama but the Tide won't be easy pickins like their first two opponents. Bama still has quality offensive line and explosive skill people and will get their points. Florida is just not in a position to trade and Bama just might win this by three plus touchdowns. Bama 49-20. |
09-18-21 | Coastal Carolina -13.5 v. Buffalo | 28-25 | Loss | -125 | 60 h 32 m | Show
DMack's Early NCAAF Power Pack winner is on the Coastal Carolina Chants Both teams had amazing seasons in 2020 but things will be very different in 2021. Buffalo lost its coach and both coordinators and returns just 10 starters making the Bulls No.114 in experience. Coastal Carolina returns 19 starters (No.17 in experience) and has rolled to 535 ypg. and 101 points. Buffalo was shredded for 516 yards by Nebraska last week and face a comparable or better offence and defense here. This number is cheap and will probably be closer to 17 at kickoff. Coastal Carolina rolls. |
09-18-21 | Nebraska v. Oklahoma -22 | 16-23 | Loss | -114 | 59 h 29 m | Show
DMack's Early NCAAF Power Pack winner is on the Oklahoma Sooners These two used to be Big 12 rivals and ruled the roost in the prairie for most of the late 60s, 70s, 80's and 90's. Nebraska has fallen on hard times of late and the once vaunted Blackshirt defense is allowing opposing quarterbacks to complete 61% of their passes. Not a good thing facing Heisman candidate Spencer Rattler (547, 77%, 6-2) who is off to fast in two games. Rumor has it that the Sooners will be looking to pour it on after finding out that Nebraska had tried to get out of playing scheduled games vs. Oklahoma. This one will get ugly, call it 54-14. |
09-18-21 | Cincinnati -3.5 v. Indiana | 38-24 | Win | 100 | 59 h 25 m | Show
DMack's Early NCAAF Power Pack winner is on the Cincinnati Bearcats Indiana goes as their QB Pennix goes. The Hoosiers were crushed at Iowa in their opener in large part thanks to three interceptions, two returned for scores. The Bearcats have not been tested yet in routine wins over punching bags Miami Oh and Murray State. Cincinnati is a veteran bunch on both sides of the ball and features a QB with 37 starts. Indiana had a dream season last year that will be impossible to duplicate in 2021. The Bearcats have thrived in this spot under Fickell and are 7-2 ATS in their L9 non-conference. They can leave it on the field here with a bye on deck before meeting Notre Dame. Cincinnati has bigger fish to fry which would be meaningless without a win here. Cincinnati 31-17. |
09-17-21 | Maryland -7.5 v. Illinois | 20-17 | Loss | -108 | 58 h 23 m | Show
DMack's Friday Week III NCAAF Appetizer is on the Maryland Terrapins Illinois is what we thought it was. The Illini were spanked by USTA and then crushed by Virginia after opening upset win over Nebraska and really can't stop a fat man. That's not good vs. the high octane Terps who have been very good out of the gate behind the big-armed Tua. In fact, Taulia Tagovailoa is averaging better than 10 yards per throw while rocking (606, 76%, 6/0) numbers in just two games. Maryland won the only Big 10 meeting between these two 63-33 back in 2018. May not be that here but 45-17 is a real possibility. Fear the Turtle! Cash the Turtle! |
09-16-21 | Reds -1.5 v. Pirates | 1-0 | Loss | -101 | 3 h 38 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Cincinnati Reds on the Run-Line The Reds have put themselves in a tough spot thanks to current 4-12 L16 run. They're still in the hunt for a wildcard but have some work to do and will need help. Tyler Mahle has been pretty good for Cincinnati all year and the Reds are 18-10 in his starts. He's 1-1 with a 3.42 ERA in his L4 starts but more importantly for us is his 2-0 and 2.19 ERA numbers in two starts against Pittsburgh this year. Connor Overton gets the start in what is essentially a bullpen game for the Bucs. He was claimed off waivers from the Jays on September six, has been good in a couple of relief appearance but an unknown quantity at best. The Reds can see their season circling the drain and to stop it, you have to make hay against teams like the Pirates. This is it. |
09-12-21 | Bears +7.5 v. Rams | 14-34 | Loss | -110 | 281 h 4 m | Show
DMack's Week I NFL Sunday Night Bail Out winner is on the Chicago Bears The Rams have gone all-in on QB Mathew Stafford and are getting lots of love in the rags and at the betting windows. Remember that this is Stafford's first start as a Ram in a completely new system. I firmly believe that the Bears sandbagged the preseason allowing Dalton/Fields to take the spotlight off the rest of the team. Chicago opens as a home dog catching 7 and a hook with a pretty good defense still in place. Not drinking the Ram Kool Aid yet ...... don't tell me, show me! Grab the points. |
09-12-21 | Broncos -2.5 v. Giants | 27-13 | Win | 100 | 277 h 14 m | Show
DMack's Week I NFL Triple Play is on the Denver Broncos The Broncos are Bullets R' Us for reasons not to bet them in the in season openers. Denver has started the last two years 0-4 and 0-3 and have lost four straight road openers scoring just 66 points. Enter two reasons to play them here, Teddy Bridgewater and the NY Giants. Bridgewater is a calming influence that will run the offense without turning the ball over. The NY Giants are on a 1-9 SU/1-8-1 ATS opening game run over the last 10 years. Big Blue is 7-22-1 ATTS at home the L3 years and 1-7 ATS L8 versus the AFC. Take the Broncos. |
09-12-21 | Browns v. Chiefs -5.5 | 29-33 | Loss | -103 | 42 h 47 m | Show
DMACK'S NFL WEEK I TOP PERSONAL PLAY winner is on the Kansas City Chiefs No brain surgery here. Kansas City is a notoriously fast starter while the Browns are notorious slow starters and that doesn't figure to improve here. In fact, the Browns have not won a season opener since 2004, an 0-16 run. Pat Mahomes is 10-0 straight up in September throwing an insane 32 touchdown passes without an interception. Andy Reed has never lost to the Cleveland Browns (7-0 LT) and Kansas City has won the last four in the series including a playoff game last year that they led 19-3 at half. The Chiefs are 4-0 SU and ATS in their L4 season openers and get the money today at Arrowhead. |
09-12-21 | Cardinals v. Titans -3 | 38-13 | Loss | -100 | 274 h 47 m | Show
DMack's Week I NFL Triple Pack winner is on the Tennessee Titans The Arizona Cardinals are another of this year's "sexy" picks and would be getting more love if they were playing in any other division other than the NFC West. The techs aren't kind to either team but we do know that the Over is 16-7 in the Titans L23 home games. The Tennessee offense should be excellent again and has added Julio Jones as a deep threat. Heavy doses of Derrick Henry will keep Kyler Murray off the field while the Titans get their points. Take Tennessee. |
09-12-21 | 49ers -7.5 v. Lions | 41-33 | Win | 102 | 274 h 45 m | Show
DMack's Week I NFL Triple Pack winner is on the San Francisco 49ers The Lions are not getting much respect and figure to better under Dan Campbell. Don't laugh, Campbell was assistant head coach of the Saints the last three years and Sean Payton in no slouch. That said, Motown couldn't get a worse draw in their opener. San Francisco is 8-2 in their L10 openers, winning their last two roan openers by 13 an 18 points. Garappolo is 24-8 as a starter and figure to deal against a brand new Lion defense. The 49ers are 15-2 L17 in the series. |

09-11-21 | Stanford v. USC -17 | 42-28 | Loss | -110 | 82 h 11 m | Show
DMACK'S NCAAF CAN OF WHUP ASS winner is on USC These are two teams headed in opposite directions. This USC team is loaded and may finally be ready to take a step be in a position to win the Pac 10 for Clay Helton. Don't put much in what has been perceived as a weak opening effort, a 30-7 win over San Jose State. The Spartans are VERY good and you'll see that last year was no fluke. Stanford is in a state of transition under David Shaw. They're simply not that talented, especially at the skill positions. The Tree was never in last week's 24-7 loss at Kansas State, a game they were outrushed by the Wildcats 200-39. The teams haven't met since 2019 when USC won 45-20. No reason to take the foot off the gas here. Tonight in the Coliseum, expect a similar result .... USC 49-13. |
09-11-21 | Missouri v. Kentucky -5 | 28-35 | Win | 100 | 21 h 44 m | Show
DMack's Revenge Game of the Month is on the Kentucky Wildcats This is the SEC opener for both teams. Kentucky spanked UL Monroe in it's opener while Missouri stopped Central Michigan 34-24. Kentucky in a big time revenge spot here after the Wildcats were dumped 20-10 by the Tigers last year while being outgained 421-145. Kentucky will be as explosive as it's been in a long time. They've brought in Penn State transfer Will Levis in to throw the ball around and Kentucky's new OC spent the last three years orchestrating the NFL Rams passing attack. Last week, Levis threw for 369 yards and four touchdowns .... KU's first 300 yard passer since 2016. Today he faces a young secondary that gave up 300 yards in the air by the Chips. Big edges on offense and defense, Kentucky wins this by 17. |
09-11-21 | Iowa +4.5 v. Iowa State | 27-17 | Win | 100 | 77 h 49 m | Show
DMACK's IOWA/IOWA ST HAWKEYE STATE STREET FIGHT Iowa State returns 20 starters and was expected to challenge Oklahoma is the Big 12. That said, the Cyclones were life and death to beat a very tough FCS Northern Iowa outfit. Lookahead ??? Tough to say but ... Iowa destroyed a highly touted Indiana squad in it's opener after closing last year on a run of six straight wins. The Hawkeyes are tough on both sides of the line of scrimmage and play very physical power football. Iowa has won five straight in the series and has dominated of late going 6-1 SU/4-2-1 ATS L7. The series is hotly contested and five of those seven games were decided by 10 or less points. Feature game of the week with No.9 hosting No.10 in the 68th battle for the Cyhawk Trophy ...... goes to Iowa straight up. Call it 23-17. |
09-11-21 | Temple -6.5 v. Akron | 45-24 | Win | 100 | 18 h 35 m | Show
DMACK'S UNDER THE RADAR ROAD WARRIOR winner is on the Temple Owls The Zips are the Zips and were pounded 60-10 in a money game at Auburn after winning just one game last year vs. all MAC opposition. Akron was outgained by 424 yards and Auburn called off the dogs early in the second half. This number would be much higher if Temple hadn't been smoked 61-14 at Rutgers in it's opener. The final is very misleading as the game was 26-14 late in the third quarter before the Knights piled on thanks to five late Owl turnovers. Temple has won the last five in the series, the last two by a 71-3 aggregate. The Owls have some nice pieces and talented transfers and get back on track with a 20+ point win here. |
09-11-21 | Toledo +16.5 v. Notre Dame | 29-32 | Win | 100 | 75 h 43 m | Show
DMack's Early NCAA Best Bet Trifecta is on the Toledo Rockets Notre Dame had things pretty much it's own way against Florida State before getting sloppy late and forced to overtime. This Toledo team is the favorite in the MAC and for good reason. The Rockets return 20 starters including SIX First-Team All MAC selections. The Rockets have Power 5 conference size and speed in a mid-major body. It couldn't have been fun at practice for the Irish this week and they play off a somewhat short prep week. If Toledo can avoid costly turnovers, the Rockets will be in this game start to finish. Take the points. |
09-11-21 | Rutgers -2 v. Syracuse | 17-7 | Win | 100 | 74 h 16 m | Show
DMack's Early NCAA Best Bet Trifecta is on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Bot teams return basically their entire teams from last year. Schiano is working his magic in Piscataway and has made Rutgers respectable almost immediately. The Scarlet Knights crushed Temple last week thanks in large part to five Owl turnovers. Rutgers won it's first road game straight up last year at Michigan State and went 4-0 ATS with suitcase last year. Syracuse will be a middle of the road team and have no real significant deficiencies but other than being at home, can't find a reason to play them here. Rutgers by 13. |
09-11-21 | Florida -28.5 v. South Florida | 42-20 | Loss | -110 | 73 h 59 m | Show
DMack's Early NCAA Best Bet Trifecta is on the Florida Gators Don't mind laying big points with the Gators here. South Florida is a train wreck it's weakest link just happens to be it's defensive line. That's not good considering the Gators have done a complete 360 and feature a power rushing attack as opposed to last year where it threw the ball over the place with Franks. Florida is superior on both sides of the ball and the Gators will be playing defense on offense by probably racking up a minimum of 40 minutes time of possession. The Bulls were spanked 45-0 in their opener and the prospects aren't much brighter here. Take Florida. |
09-10-21 | Kansas v. Coastal Carolina -25 | 22-49 | Win | 100 | 55 h 6 m | Show
DMack's Friday NCAAF Appetizer Winner is on the Coastal Carolina Chants Costal Carolina returns almost everyone from last year's 10-1 team that came out of nowhere to run the table during the regular season before losing in OT in their Bowl game. The Chants beat Kansas in Lawrence last year behind a freshman redshirt quarterback who was responsible for five touchdowns. The Jayhawks outgained CCU but couldn't overcome three turnovers. Make no mistake, Coastal Carolina is very good and returns 19 starters from last years team. The Chants are determined to run the table again and it all starts tonight with a rare national TV appearance versus a Power Five opponent. Coastal Carolina 48-17. |
09-09-21 | Cowboys v. Bucs -7.5 | 29-31 | Loss | -100 | 209 h 12 m | Show
DMacks Cowboys/Bucs NFL First Blood winner is on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Not much analysis here. Tampa Bay bringing back it's entire team is well documented. The Bucs won their last eight games las year and there is no lack of familiarity, short camp, chemistry or even Super Bowl let down here. Brady/Arians will not permit that to happen. Dallas was a train wreck in August and is now dealing with all kinds of Covid issues. Dak hasn't taken a snap in a year and is brought in cold with offensive line issues against a ferocious front seven. In the end, Tampa Bay has so many weapons and with any kind of time, Brady can just sit back and do as he pleases. Can't see Dallas getting many stops and tough to see the Cowboys trading points. Tampa Bay 34-10. |
09-04-21 | Akron v. Auburn -36.5 | 10-60 | Win | 100 | 87 h 45 m | Show
Mack Attack Thursday NCAAF Triple Pack winner is on the Auburn Tigers Laying this type of number is not a long term recipe for success, even against the Akrons of the world, but it is perfectly justified here. The Zips were 1-5 last year against an all-Mac schedule, allowing opponents 179 ypg. more than they were able to generate themselves. They face a Tiger team in the first game of the Brian Harsin (Boise State) era and at home with a soon to be prolific QB in Bo Nix. Auburn has Alabama State up next before their showdown with Penn State so no reason to call off the dogs here. Auburn 55-7. |
09-04-21 | Indiana v. Iowa -3 | 6-34 | Win | 100 | 84 h 30 m | Show
Mack Attack Thursday NCAAF Triple Pack winner is on the Iowa Hawkeyes The Iowa Hawkeyes have a terrible M.O. as slow starters and with the "New" Hoosiers in their opener and a rivalry game against a VERY good Iowa State team on deck, Iowa could be playing out the season after seven days. Indiana is 14-7 the L2 years after nine straight losing seasons prior and have covered their L7 games as a road dog. Indy probably goes as Pennix goes and the Iowa defense in fierce. The Hawkeyes closed last year with six straight wins and they'll carry that momentum here to a double-digit win. |
09-04-21 | Miami-OH v. Cincinnati -22.5 | 14-49 | Win | 100 | 83 h 16 m | Show
Mack Attack Thursday NCAAF Triple Pack winner is on the Cincinnati Bearcats Not really getting the best of the number here but still have an impost that is in line if the Bearcats come to play with their gameface on. Thinking that Cinncy will as this is a rivalry game that the Cats have won 14 straight times and has covered the last three in the series. Miami Oh has some players but is 2-11 ATS the L3 years in non-conference games and Minnesota on deck next week. Cincinnati has Murray State on deck so they can come to play here and looking for Desmond Ridder to light up and average at best defense Cincinnati 48-13. |
09-02-21 | Boise State v. Central Florida -4.5 | 31-36 | Win | 100 | 42 h 48 m | Show
Mack Attack Thursday NCAAF Triple Pack winner is on the Central Florida Knights Both teams return 17 starters but that's where most similarities end. Both teams lost their HC and staffs but UCF returns with veteran Gus Malzahn, most recently of Auburn. The homestanding Knights bring back a QB with 22 starts and an offensive line with 89 combined starts from an offense that averaged 42 ppg. on 563 ypg. last year and should be better. Boise is 100-27 straight up the last decade but may have bit off more they can chew here. Malzahn won't call off the dogs, even if he has a chance. |
09-02-21 | Braves -1.5 v. Rockies | 6-5 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 0 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Atlanta Braves Run-Line Gonna take a shot vs. a team that's 44-23 at home but merited by the pitching mismatch. The Braves ran into the white hot Dodgers and were swept in L.A. but have a chance to get very health here. The Bravos face Chi Chi Gonzalez who has been throwing batting practice (10.50 ERA) over his L3 starts and should do lots of business here. Touki Toussaint is 2-0 with a 3.27 ERA in his L4 and has been very good in the early going. Atlanta is going to be in a great spot to get back on track here and does so in dominant fashion. |
09-02-21 | Ohio State v. Minnesota +14 | 45-31 | Push | 0 | 40 h 4 m | Show
Mack Attack Thursday NCAAF Triple Pack winner is on the Minnesota Golden Gophers The Gophers took some punches last year after going 18-8 the prior two years. Fleck and Minnesota has no excuses with a returning QB with 26 starts and all five on an offensive line that has a mindboggling 182 combined starts. Ohio State may be as "green" as they have ever been. The Buckeyes do not have a QB on their roster that has ever thrown a pass in college football, will be making his first start on the road, and looking at an 0-line with just 37 starts experience. Ohio State has just 11 returning starters overall and with the Oregon Ducks on deck, will be just as happy to get out of Dodge with a win. The Gophers have lost 11 straight in the series and THIS is their chance to leave it on the field. |
08-29-21 | Patriots -3 v. Giants | Top | 22-20 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 54 m | Show |
DMack's NFLX Super Play is on the Pats The Patriot's quarterback job will go right down the wire. Look for Cam Newton and Mac Jones to move the ball and the offense to play with intensity the entire 60 minutes. The Giants have little to play for here. Most jobs are etched in stone and the starters will get get their first action here and play a series or two. The Pat defense will mostly rest but remember that this stop unit is as deep as any in the league. Daniel Jones starts, Mike Glennon is the backup, and the leaves Brian Lewerke and the other backups to deal with a dialed in Pat outfit for the final half/three quarters. New England 26-10. |
08-28-21 | UTEP -9.5 v. New Mexico State | 30-3 | Win | 100 | 104 h 47 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF First Blood is on the UTEP Miners The first day of college football doesn't offer much but .... there's a reasonably strong case to be made here for UTEP. The Miners return 10 decent players on offense and have some talented skill position people that do some business here. UTEP went 3-5 in eight games last year. Two of those wins came against FCS team but that is more or less what they'll facing here in New Mexico State. The Aggies were one of the few teams to opt-out of the 2020 fall season but did manage to play twice in the spring. This is a program in flux and will look to make due with a roster full of JUCO players. Laying essentially double-digits with a team that has won just one conference game in four years is not our favorite spot but .... the Miners are a program with a history of playing hard and a talented offense that returns virtually intact. Getting off to a fast start and getting a much needed win off the git go is incalculable and will likely set the tone for the rest of the Miners season. Despite being on the road, UTEP catches the perfect patsy here .... Miners 37-10. |
08-28-21 | Ravens -3.5 v. Washington Football Team | 37-3 | Win | 100 | 31 h 33 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NFLX Super Play is on the Baltimore Ravens Baltimore can make history with a win here in what would be their 20th straight NFLX win. The Ravens have not lost a preseason game since 2015, before Lamar Odom even arrived on the scene. They're 2-0 SU and ATS this year despite injuries the offensive line and especially their skill position people especially the wide outs. The various injuries means that at QB, it will be the Tyler Huntley show, much as it was last week in a routine 20-3 win over Carolina. The WFT will likely split the game between Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen. Both defenses have been on point you know that a red-ass like John Harbaugh will pull out all the stops to get a win here. At the end of the day, Baltimore's job is to win this game while Washington still has work to do and jobs up for grabs. Also key here is the better Raven kicking game where the Blackbirds just might generate the majority of its points. Huntley didn't look great and got off to a slow start last week. Expect him to make a couple of plays and let Justin Tucker take care the rest. Baltimore 19-10. |
08-27-21 | Eagles v. Jets -4 | Top | 31-31 | Loss | -107 | 80 h 36 m | Show |
DMack's Friday NFLX Super Play is on the NY Jets Zach Wilson has been without question, the best of the five first-round picks in this year's draft that will see any substantial playing time. While preseason is not really a fair gauge to judge, you can basically see th writing on the wall for the Jets. Wilson has completed 75% of his passes and has shown excellent judgement and mobility. He gets rid the ball quickly and makes good reads that have resulted in numerous dump offs that have produced positive yardage and in many cases moved the chains. Minimal turnovers, time of possession, and field position is just the RX for a rebuilding team like the Jets. Saleh has definitely left his imprint on the defense which is not great but has made some plays. If the Flyboys can find a way to run the ball on a consistent basis, Gang Green may be one of the surprise teams in the NFL this year. The Eagles have been a nightmare under Sirianni and don't figure to be much this year. Jalen Hurtz is already dinged and Joe Flacco isn't likely to have much success against his old mates. It's a cliche take but Saleh is looking to change the culture of the Jets. He's home and can make some headway by spanking the Eagles for a perfect 3-0 preseason. Philly will be just as happy to get out of Dodge somewhat healthy and and tweak what they can in the 10 days before the season starts. Jets 23-10. |
