Taking SAN FRAN tonight. I am just not sold on this Titans team. First. They are in off a tough loss to the Steelers. Tough, more like Brutal. Up 13-0, can't score in the 2nd half. Miss a 4th down by a full yard. That is 3 losses in the last 4 weeks. Lone win. Jacksonville. A game they won 20-0. And we move on to point number 2. The offense. We can start with no points in the 2nd half vs Pitt. But lets go to Jags and 20 points. You get 4 INTs and can only put up 20? That isn't shocking. They put up 13 in back to back losses to the Patriots and Texans. Funny, we have or have faded the Titans the last 5 weeks and are a perfect 5-0. I think I can read this bunch. The offense is anemic without Henry. Enter SF. This team is playing well. 30 or more points in 4 of their last 6 games. 5-1 in those games. 5-1 ATS in those games. Finally the HC. Clear edge for us on the sidelines right now. Zero adjusts coming from Tennessee. That 4 week slide in September/October seems a lifetime ago for the Niners. SF by double digits tonight. They take care of business tonight, 10 days to get ready for Houston at home. That might be the fade spot with the Rams in LA to close out the regular season. Tonight though. Taking UCF here. Ok. So Florida comes in off their win over Florida State. Interesting they players didn't mail it in as their coach was canned. But are they pumped here even for an in-state foe? Taking NORTH TEXAS today. Mean Green outright! We have NT, basically in their own backyard, getting points. Come on. 5 straight wins to end the year. Facing a MAC team. The MAC, who is right now (Tuesday Night) winless in their bowl games. NIU the only team showing up for them in Bowl Action. Miami comes in 2-2 down the stretch. I'm not sold. Had UTSA the other night thinking the same thing. Home state. Motivated. Excited. Then their 2 best offensive guys sit out for us. Don't think that is happening at North Texas. Taking ARMY. In off a loss to Navy, time for Army to deliver. Missouri cannot stop the run. Taking UT SAN ANTONIO We will grab the CUSA Champions and not look back. One. The game is in Texas. A couple hours from home. Should have fans there. San Diego State. Ok. A physical bunch. Not like the WKU team they just face who will air things out. But I  have to think about excitement level. You get your doors blown off in the Mountain West Championship 46-13 as a 6.5 pt favorite. Now you have to go to Texas to face a team basically playing a home game. Can you really be pumped up about facing a CUSA team? I don't think so. Taking SEATTLE. I said on the Look Ahead Lines Show Sunday night we would grab the Seahawks here. And we did. Rams were in all or nothing mode Monday night, that is why we said take Rams ML. Taking OLD DOMINION. 5 straight wins for the Monarchs. Honestly, in December, normally I am looking at OD hoops, not the football team. But they are worth the bet today. Taking GREEN BAY. We had these guys last Sunday night and needed a big 2nd half. Totally flat out of the gate and their bye week. But they are still fighting Tampa and Arizona for home field. I can't see them mailing a game in here. I know Rodgers has a toe thing. The guy is a gamer. He isn't sitting out. The run game is solid. Ravens a total desperate team right now. QB situation sketchy. Still banged up all over the place. We had the Browns last week who blew a 24-6 halftime lead. This isn't Baker and we will screen and run the ball offense. GB will air it out. Taking BUFFALO. The old 'circle the wagons' type of game for the Bills. Lost here at home to the Patriots. (we had NE) Lost in OT to TB (we had Bucs). The only thing that looked good was aftger getting behind early, they didn't fold up, they actually battled back. Now though, 7-6, playoffs on the line - time to bring back that Bills focus that we saw after their loss to Indy, 31-6 at New Orleans. Or 45-17 over the Jets after 9-6 loss to Jaguars. Or 26-11 win over Miami like we saw after 34-31 loss to Titans. We do know that the Bills have taken care of lesser opponents for the most part minus that Jaguars game. Carolina come in losing 3 straight, 4 of 5 and 8 of 10. (2-8 ATS). Cam is now 0-11 his last 11 starts. PJ Walker? If you have 2 NFL QBs you have none. McDermott an ex Carolina coach. Taking the STEELERS. This is really just me fading the Titans. I had Tennessee last week and it was a miracle we got the cover there. Not happening here. Not a fan of them laying on the road. The Henry loss is huge. So you beat the Rams. Ok. You couldn't cover vs the Saints, Houston and NE. 20-0 over the Jags who gave you 4 turnovers. Where is the offense? 23-13-13-20 their last 4 games. As bad as Pitt, and I think they are bad, they find ways to come back on teams as we saw vs Minny and the Chargers. Will I be shocked at a 16-16 tie like the Lions game. Heck no. Taking the COLTS. We said on Lookahead Lines grab Indy at +1 or +2. Now, favored. Not shocked. Both teams off bye weeks. I think the Colts are better. I can't say a bad thing about the way the Patriots have played this year. This is why we told you back in August to grab them to win the AFC East. I just think that the Colts will beat them at their own game. Bully you with the run, have your QB make his passes. And your defense is a solid units. Taking UTAH STATE. Why wouldn't we take these guys? Dream season continues. MWC Champs. Look. I will say this. Normally, I see 7.5 or 3.5, and I am grabbing favorites thinking they want you to fall in love with that hook. But honestly, why is Oregon State favored? A middle of the road PAC 12. Nothing special in my eyes. While the Aggies continue to win. Wins in 7 of last 8 totally demolishing San Diego State in MWC Championship. And the Beavers. Lost to Oregon, no shame there. Best win was beating Utah. This is a team that plays to up or down to a team. And them being favored is not a role I want to back. Too many points. 4* Money Maker UTAH STATE

Taking EMU here. Give me the Eagles here. Liberty was probably hoping for so much more right? These guys last 10-1. Darlings of the season. 7-5, flatter than a pancake - 3 straight losses. Now, playing a MAC team? I mean. Motivated? I don't think so. Eastern Michigan is 0-3 SU under their HC in bowl games, but, we don't care because 3-0 ATS is what matters most. Taking UTEP. So - right off the bat. Excited to be here team in UTEP. Haven't won a bowl game in what, 70 years. Look Fresno lost it's HC. Their QB was leaving, then is staying. Fresno the better team - not going to argue that. But this is a big number. Am I a bit concerned hearing UTEP mentioned a little too much. Of course. I don't want to be on many public dogs. But again, I think the Miners, even in a loss, keep this within the number. 4* Money Maker UTEP

Taking the CHIEFS. 9-9-9-14-7-17. Those are the points the Kansas City defense has allowed the last 6 weeks. On offense. Well, 48 and 41 vs the Raiders. 22-19-13-20 vs others over those same 6 weeks. Let's us not forget the revenge angle for a September 30-24 loss. Chargers tied it with 2 minutes to go and scored the game winning TD with 30 seconds left. The LA defense gives up some points. 21-22-28-37-27-24-27-34-42. KC offense should be able to get in the mid-20s tonight. This is tough team to get a read on. Short number. I am grabby Brady at home. We also are on the OVER 52.5. Bills going from a team that ran over them, to a team that will throw over their heads. I just don't know what kind of heart these guys have. Beating up bad teams is one thing. But they have been manhandled by Pitt and NE at home. Colts abused them. Taking the CHARGERS. Again. Locked in before a whirlwind week began. NYG with QB questions. Chargers with their own issues. We do have a decent number as of now. I was liking this based on Miami to Cali and Freddy Kitchens calling OC plays. We do have the more talented team. The QB edge gets to the moon if we get Fromm behind center. G-Men putting up just about 11ppg their last 3 games. Chargers offense has put up 41 in 2 of the last 3 weeks so should be able to cover this. Taking DALLAS. Liked this a lot more before their idiotic HC decided to guarantee a win. I can't even write anything. Guy put a bullseye on his team. But we locked this in way before he opened his mouth so we are stuck. Maybe look in-game if things get out of control. Possible Under play as well. 4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS 

Taking TENNESSEE. Yeah. Laying a big number here. But. We are off a much needed bye week. Running on fumes the last couple weeks. 12 straight weeks of ball. Add in losing your MVP. And you still muster wins before falling the last 2 weeks. No MVP. But the team should be good to go. And, against the Jaguars. A team averaging, what, 10ppg a game lately. We had the Rams last week over these guys for much of the same reason. Time to get back on track. No better team to face. 4* Money Maker TENNESSEE TITANS 

Taking the CHIEFS. We know that KC is not a great team. But I have been down on Vegas since Gruden left. This wasn't a good team to start. They are not good now. Too much talent on the Chiefs. Yes. This is basically a double digit number. Yes. Raiders in revenge mode from 41-14 loss a couple weeks ago. LV has lost 4 of 5 and KC has won 5 in a row. And the defense is how they are getting things done. A pair of teams heading in different directions. 4* Money Maker KANSAS CITY CHIEFS 

Taking the BROWNS. Off their bye week, get it done Cleveland. I think this game will be just as ugly as their Under we called 2 weeks ago. Baker banged up. It's mid-December, everyone is banged up. Revenge time. 4* Money Maker CLEVELAND BROWNS

Taking the PATRIOTS here on Monday Night. Not going to overthink things here. Bills have been a real strange team this season. Tough to figure out for sure. What I do know is they will be riding their QB all night. This team can't get any run game going. Let's be honest here. NE and their HC. Just unbelievable. We knew they would be good with their guys coming back who sat out last year. That team won some games. They got a kid under center who does what is expected. 6 straight wins for Patriots. Taking KANSAS CITY. Uh. Will the Chiefs get down to business and start covering big numbers? That is the question. For me. Andy Reid out of a bye week. Guy is great off rest. 27-6 SU 21-12 ATS. KC with Mahomes, Kelce and Hill should be able to put up 30 tonight. This Denver defense is patchwork. Looks ok vs teams that do not have stars. And honestly - is Teddy B going to keep pace here? And maybe you think, ugly game. It will be close. He doesn't have to keep up. I dunno. KC on a 11-0 SU run vs these guys. How about 9-2 ATS under Reid vs the Broncos. And as bad as the Chiefs defense was to start the season, they are allowing about 12ppg the last month. A bye week win over a slumping Chargers team. Taking the BENGALS. I understand not wanting to bet Cincy off of them beating the Steelers again. But this is new Cincy. It think Mixon has a big game here. I think we have the QB and offensive edge here. We have the defensive edge. Chargers give up points. 28-37-27-24-27-34-42. Cincy has rolled out 41-31 the last 2 weeks. Then before that egg vs Cleveland, 31-41-34. Chargers in another road game. After getting beat down in Denver. They pulled out a game out of their butts vs Pitt that should never have been close. Taking MICHIGAN. We had these guys a few times during the season. Didn't have them vs OSU. Had -6 on Buckeyes early. Guess I was still fuming over Wolverines blowing double digit lead to Sparty on the road. Let's be honest here. Michigan is way more talented than Iowa. The monkey is off the back. Time to bring Michigan back to the National Championship level. Took a long time for Harbaugh, but he is here now. No let down. They should win this one by 20. 5* Best Bet MICHIGAN WOLVERINES 

Taking CINCINNATI. We can say what a great year for Houston and Dana Holgorsen. We had Texas Tech in Game 1 and thought the Cougs would booting the coach mid-season. But, you run off 10 in a row and things appear to be good. But here - nope. I think Cincy runs them out. Yes. Bearcats nearly played themselves out of the playoffs with some non-covers. Not today. At home. Undefeated. A team they ran out of this stadium last year 38-10. A team they beat in Houston 38-23 the year before. What has changed? Same coaches. Same QBs. Ok. Houston defense better. Ok. But who have they played? We will compare a couple 'good' teams. Cougs 31-24 OT home win over ECU. 35-13 on the road Cincy over ECU. SMU 44-37 for Houston. 48-14 for Cincy. Defense? Taking GEORGIA. Nothing has changed since August. We liked Georgia then. Still like them now. The defense is super. That will be the difference maker here. We can get into Nick vs his old assistants. We can talk until we are blue in the face about the greatness of Alabama. Nothing has changed my thoughts about Georgia this season. 5* Best Bet GEORGIA BULLDOGS 

Taking KENT STATE. We saw a wild 52-47 a month ago between these guys. But I don't think NIU is on par with Kent offensively. They mailed it in last week. We saw that coming and had Western Michigan. So let's look at the last 5 games. Rest your QB, lose 42-21 at home. No effort in seniors last home game. 33-27 OT win at Buffalo. 30-29 win over Ball State. 52-47 loss at Kent. 39-38 win at Central Michigan. You have some tight games there. And 3 went your way with a pair of 1pt wins and an OT winner. That will regress. Kent has put up 52-54-38-48 in their last 4 games. They are in off their own crazy win stopping a 2pt conversion. Let's go back to the summer when Kent was thought to be the at the top or right behind Buffalo or Toledo to win the MAC. NIU was picked at the bottom. I think Kent is the better team. Taking UTAH here. We said back in August this was our pick to win the PAC 12. Time to wrap up that promise. They get a rematch vs the Ducks. They rolled them 38-7 a couple weeks ago. What has changed? I'll tell you - nothing. Oregon is hanging it's hat on a win at Ohio State. I said it before - will say it again. That was Game 2. A young QB making his 2nd start vs a pretty decent team. And yes, Oregon is pretty decent. They OSU defense we saw those first 2 weeks, 31 at Minny, 35 to Ducks, heck, 20 to Tulsa. That is not what they will get in Utah. Take out that weird game in Arizona, and Utah defense is really in a groove the last month. Whittingham is a good, solid coach. 17 years here at Utah. He can get to his first ever Rose Bowl with a win here. I think Ducks choke it away like they did 2 weeks. If you lay an egg like that with a shot at the playoffs on the line, what kind of performance are you getting here? Revenge? Ok, a decent enough angle. But coaching edge Utah. Defense edge Utah. Taking the COWBOYS here. Also on the UNDER 47.5. Pair of reeling teams. Both in off Thanksgiving home losses. Saints having dropped 4 straight. A total no-show vs Buffalo. We had Bills and Under there. But also lost with Dallas and the Under. This is an important game for them. Who cares the coach isn't there. I can't stand that guy anyway. First of 3 straight road games. They need to get back on track. Washington on deck then the Giants. We have seen Dallas wilt under the pressure before. I just can't see it with this offense. The defense is decent enough that it should hold Hill in check. Saints are a mess. If the Cowboys don't win by 10 I would be shocked and will be looking for Washington or Eagles NFC East division champ tickets. 8* Sure Shot DALLAS COWBOYS

Taking the COLTS. Off a huge win, yeah, I would be lying to say I am not worried for a drop off. But, defending Super Bowl Champs. I can't see Indy being flat. Especially at home. Short week for Tampa off of beating the Giants. Does that even count? Both teams with division rivals on deck- Falcons for Tampa, Texans for Colts. Both will be focused here. For me though. Home team. Visitor off MNF. Visitor is Tom Brady. Always a little inflated number. Colts defense is a solid bunch. Wentz should be able to move the ball. Taking the PATRIOTS. This line will be a TD by game day. Hats off the best coach ever. We did say to grab NE to win the AFC North back in August. This is not that shocking that the Patriots are playing well. The defense is solid. The QB has been solid. We know we always have an edge on the sidelines. We said to fade the Titans last week. Winner. This team had been winning with smoke and mirrors and honestly, that run was ready to end. Some tough reality now hitting the road. Taking NOTRE DAME. Big number, but I think the Irish win this by 3+ TDs. Do we think Stanford is just going to start slowing down people. 41 to Cal last game. 35 to Oregon State before that. 52 to Utah. You think they roll out another Oregon miracle OT winner? So the defense has been sound the last 3 games. How about this offensive output. 11 vs Cal - 14 Oregon State - 7  Utah. Taking OHIO STATE. So this is a great number because it will sail over the 7 shortly. Every will talk about bad Harbaugh vs good teams. I get it. And if it gets to 8.5 or higher, maybe I go for the  middle. We had Michigan last week because as I said then, can't look ahead to a team that has owned you and for it to mean anything you need to beat the team in front of you. We know the past numbers between these too. I think OSU defense a bit better. We saw the Wolverines choke it away against Michigan State. (We had Michigan there also). We don't think they can do something stupid and turn a 5 point game into 14? Honestly, I think OSU wins by 10+. Yes the Buckeyes might have the pressure on them with the whole playoff thing or whatever. But the real pressure - the pressure everyone is feeling is resting on Michigan's shoulders. Harbaugh 3-9 against Ohio State and Michigan State, and 2-13 vs. AP Top 10 teams. If you think the players don't read papers or the internet, come on now.  5* Best Bet OHIO STATE

Taking ARKANSAS. Besides the fact I think Missouri is terrible, what we have is their former HC sitting as DC of the Razorbacks. Oh you know he is going to want this one. And the players will respond. This is tough group. The new regime really has brought in the change. Have to like what you are hearing after their loss to Bama. No shame battling them. Taking the BILLS here. Talk about a must with game. This is the one Buffalo needs in a bad way. Look. Saints are no great shakes. The defense that had been carrying them has been bad the last couple weeks. Now an angry Bills team coming in off a humiliating loss. Maybe no Kimara again. This is far from a vintage New Orleans offense. Bills with a pair of clunkers in 2 of their last 3. Now they are off an ugly Kansas City game. So. Amari banged up. Lamb too. Maybe Zeke. You know what. It won't matter. Because this Raiders team is in a free fall. 3 straight losses. Not even close the last 2. Oh. They are going to turn it on for Thanksgiving. I don't think so. I wasn't high on these guys to start the year. No way I can back them even at a TD price. As I have said before on Mid Day Money - this team Does Not Quit. I want to go ML here. But I have been through enough emotional abuse for the week taking the Bears over the Ravens.
