03-01-21 | Oklahoma -112 v. Oklahoma State | Top | 75-79 | Loss | -112 | 18 h 8 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* CBB PLAY OF THE DAY | BEDLAM SERIES *BEST BET* Love the Oklahoma Sooners in this matchup as they look to avenge a 94-90 home loss in overtime to Oklahoma State a couple of days ago. The Sooners rarely lose back-to-back games, and I think they'll have a better plan for how to stop Cade Cunningham who dropped 40 points on them last time out. Sooners are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Sooners are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up loss. Cowboys are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. 10* play on Oklahoma. |
02-28-21 | Iowa v. Ohio State -3 | Top | 73-57 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 1 m | Show |
IOWA @ OHIO STATE 10* CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY *BEST OF THE BEST* The #9 Iowa Hawkeyes took a 79-57 beating at Michigan last time out, and this does not look like a good bounce-back spot against an Ohio State team looking to redeem itself coming off a pair of losses. "We've got to be better," Ohio State guard CJ Walker said. "We've got to refocus and be better defensively. That's the biggest thing right now." The #4 Buckeyes won 89-85 at Iowa back on February 4 and they are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 home games. Buckeyes are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up loss. Hawkeyes are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. 10* play on Ohio State. |
02-27-21 | Texas v. Texas Tech -3 | Top | 59-68 | Win | 100 | 11 h 19 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* BIG 12 GAME OF THE MONTH | EARLY 12:00 START I really like the Texas Tech Red Raiders here as they'll be looking to snap an ugly three-game losing streak. Last time out they suffered a tough OT loss at Oklahoma State while Texas is coming off an OT win over Kansas. Texas Tech won 79-77 at Texas back in January. Surely the Red Raiders can get the job done at home. 10* play on Texas Tech. |
02-26-21 | Northern Iowa -3 v. Illinois State | Top | 70-56 | Win | 100 | 20 h 57 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* TGIF CBB PLAY OF THE DAY | 9:00 PM TIP-OFF Both Northern Iowa (4-15-1 ATS) and Illinois State (8-12-1 ATS) have underperformed against the spread all season. I think this looks like a good spot to back the Panthers though as they look to bounce back from a 77-69 loss to Drake while Illinois is coming off a 88-71 win against Bradley. The Redbirds shot 57% from the field (40% from 3-point range), and I highly doubt they can shoot like that two games in a row. 10* play on Northern Iowa. |
02-22-21 | Texas Tech -3 v. Oklahoma State | Top | 69-74 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 20 m | Show |
TEXAS TECH @ OKLAHOMA STATE 10* CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY This looks like an excellent spot to back the No. 11 Texas Tech Red Raiders who should be ready to go off, coming off back-to-back losses to West Virginia and Kansas. At only 1-6 ATS over their last seven games, the Raiders are now severely underrated by the betting market and the No. 22 Oklahoma State Cowboys are in a potential letdown spot after defeating Iowa State by 18 points last time out. The Red Raiders will also be looking to avenge an 82-77 overtime loss to Oklahoma State in Lubbock on January 2. I expect to see a reaction from Texas Tech following its recent struggles. 10* play on Texas Tech. |
02-20-21 | Illinois v. Minnesota +6 | Top | 94-63 | Loss | -116 | 11 h 0 m | Show |
ILLINOIS @ MINNESOTA 10* CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Minnesota Golden Gophers took an 82-72 loss and Indiana a couple of days ago. At home, Minnesota is 13-1 on the season though and the Gophers are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 home games. Illinois looks like good fade material after winning six straight games. The Fighting Illini might be running out of gas as they have failed to cover the number in their last two games, and I would not be surprised if the Gophers can pull an outríght upset here. 10* play on Minnesota. |
02-16-21 | Missouri -3.5 v. Georgia | Top | 70-80 | Loss | -105 | 13 h 14 m | Show |
MIZZOU @ GEORGIA | TOP-RATED 10* CBB PLAY OF THE DAY Good spot to back the No. 20 Missouri Tigers as they look to bounce back from a couple of disappointing losses. Here they'll face a Georgia team that has struggled immensely on the defensive end all season, and in their most recent game, the Bulldogs gave up 115 points at Alabama. Tigers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game. 10* play on Mizzou. |
02-14-21 | UCF v. Cincinnati UNDER 135 | Top | 68-69 | Loss | -115 | 3 h 16 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY TOP-RATED 10* CBB TOTAL PLAY OF THE DAY Two offensively challenged teams will clash at Fifth Third Arena Sunday afternoon. The Cincinnati Bearcats are 9-4 to the over on the season, despite putting up only 68.8 ppg. They are allowing a fair amount of points, but that won't be an issue here against a UCF team that is averaging 65.1 ppg. The Knights held Tulane to 49 points on 31.6 percent field-goal shooting last time out and have allowed only 56 ppg over their last three games. 10* play on UNDER. |
02-04-21 | Ohio State v. Iowa -5.5 | Top | 89-85 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 55 m | Show |
*BIG BET ALERT* OHIO STATE VS IOWA BIG TEN GAME OF THE MONTH The Ohio State Buckeyes are riding a three-game winning streak that started with an upset win at Wisconsin on Jan 23. I do not like their chances in this one though, facing an Iowa team that is undervalued and due for a big game after winning only one of its last three games, failing to cover the spread in all three. While Ohio State has scored 70+ points in three straight games, note that Iowa has the second-best scoring average in the nation on the season, averaging 89.4 points per game. Hawkeyes are 15-2 ATS in their last 17 games following a ATS loss. Hawkeyes are 20-5-2 ATS in their last 27 home games. Buckeyes are 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. 10* play on Iowa. |
02-03-21 | Houston -16 v. East Carolina | Top | 73-82 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 51 m | Show |
*BIG BET ALERT* NCAAB AAC GAME OF THE MONTH - 10* TOP PLAY The Houston Cougars have reeled off eight straight wins (7-1 ATS) since an upset loss at Tulsa on Dec 29. They have won five of their last six by 20+ points, including a 70-48 thrashing of a 9-3 SMU team last time out. East Carolina is 7-6 SU (3-8 ATS) on the season, and coming off five straight losses SU and ATS. I just don't see the Pirates keeping pace with the superior Cougars. 10* play on Houston. |
01-31-21 | Michigan State +7.5 v. Ohio State | Top | 62-79 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 26 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY TOP-RATED 10* MICHIGAN STATE @ OHIO STATE *BEST OF THE BEST* Ohio State defeated Penn State 83-79 last time out, but it was far from an impressive performance as the Buckeyes committed a season-high 17 turnovers. I think we'll see another lackluster win for the Buckeyes here, and while I do think they'll win outright, I really like Michigan State to cover the number. The Spartans shot only 29% (16-of-56) from the field in an embarrassing 67-37 loss at Rutgers on Thursday. They are somewhat excused as it was the Spartans' first game since Jan. 8 after having three games postponed due to COVID-19 issues in the program. "I'm sure we have a little COVID hangover, I understand that, but that will not be an excuse for the way we played," Michigan State coach Tom Izzo said. "That would be a good excuse for losing a game, but not the way we played." I have no doubt coach Izzo will have his players better prepared for this one. 10* play on Michigan State. |
01-30-21 | Florida State -3.5 v. Georgia Tech | Top | 65-76 | Loss | -115 | 15 h 31 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* ACC GAME OF THE MONTH Florida State defeated Georgia Tech at home 74-61 on Dec. 15. The Seminoles are playing even better basketball right now, coming off five straight wins SU and ATS (four wins by double-digits) while Georgia Tech is coming off a pair of losses at Virginia and Duke. Ride the hot hand with the Noles to get the job done on the road. 10* play on Florida State. |
01-28-21 | Memphis v. SMU -3 | Top | 65-67 | Loss | -115 | 18 h 5 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MEMPHIS VS SMU CBB PLAY OF THE DAY SMU is 5-2 at home and will be looking to avenge a loss at Memphis just a couple of days ago. Potential flat spot for the Tigers following three straight wins SU and ATS. Tigers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up win. Mustangs are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Home team is 15-6 ATS in the last 21 meetings. 10* play on SMU. |
01-26-21 | Oklahoma v. Texas -4.5 | Top | 80-79 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 23 m | Show |
SIZZLING 5-1 (83%) CBB RUN ~ BIG 12 GAME OF THE MONTH *BIG BET ALERT* No. 5 Texas has not played since beating Kansas State 82-67 on January 16 as it has had its last two games, at Iowa State and at TCU, were postponed because of COVID-19. I still think they'll be sharp enough to beat the Sooners who are coming off an upset win against Kansas. No. 24 Oklahoma struggles defending the three allowing opponents to shoot 36.8% from three-point range and the Longhorns have had a couple of big games from behind the arc. 10* play on Texas. |
01-24-21 | Davidson -2 v. Massachusetts | Top | 69-60 | Win | 100 | 8 h 45 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY DAVIDSON @ UMASS TOP RATED CBB PLAY OF THE DAY Davidson is coming off three straight wins. While they are only 1-2 ATS through those games, note that the two games they did not cover, the Wildcats still won by double-digits. UMass has also won three in a row, covering the spread in each game. The Minutemen held Fordham to 46 points last time out, but their defense is still a concern allowing 75.0 ppg on the season. The Wildcats meanwhile are holding opponents to 65.1 ppg while putting up 72.9 ppg themselves. 10* play on Davidson. |
01-23-21 | Connecticut v. Creighton -7.5 | Top | 66-74 | Win | 100 | 8 h 47 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY UCONN @ CREIGHTON 10* CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY Two teams coming off a loss as favorites. Actually, No. 11 Creighton is coming off back-to-back setbacks and I think it'll be the side to bounce back to win and cover as a favorite. The Huskies are 7-2 ATS on the season despite shooting only 43% from the field (233rd). Creighton meanwhile is one of the most effective teams in the nation with a 49% field goal percentage (29th). Sure, the Bluejays needed OT to win at Connecticut back in December, but I think they'll steamroll their opponent this time around. 10* play on Creighton. |
01-19-21 | Seton Hall +9 v. Villanova | Top | 74-76 | Win | 100 | 11 h 4 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* CBB BIG EAST GAME OF THE MONTH Good spot to fade the Villanova Wildcats who have had almost a month off from competitive basketball since routing Marquette on Dec 23. They'll face a hot Seton Hall team that has won four of its last five games, only falling to Creighton during that span. Admittedly, their setback to the Bluejays was a blowout, but they bounced back nicely with an eight-point win at DePaul last time out. Pirates are 35-16 ATS in their last 51 games as a road underdog. Wildcats are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games as a home favorite. 10* play on Seton Hall. |
01-18-21 | VMI +7.5 v. East Tennessee State | Top | 81-92 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* CBB PLAY OF THE DAY - MUST WIN! VMI ranks 25th in the nation for points per game on the season and the Keydets just dropped 110 on Citadel. East Tennessee State relies on its defense, but without much success lately allowing 78 points or more in three of its last four games. Keydets are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Underdog is 4-1-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings. 10* play on VMI. |
01-16-21 | Arkansas +2.5 v. Alabama | Top | 59-90 | Loss | -115 | 12 h 3 m | Show |
*BIG BET ALERT* NCAAB SEC GAME OF THE MONTH - 10* TOP PLAY Alabama is 5-1 SU at home on the season but looks overvalued by the market after winning six straight, including an upset win at Kentucky last time out. For this one, Bama will be without starters Jordan Bruner and Herb Jones who both got injured in the most recent victory. The win over the Wildcats sets up a potential flat spot for the Tide this Saturday while Arkansas is undervalued after losing three of four and taking a 92-76 beating at LSU last time out. 10* play on Arkansas. |
01-15-21 | Hofstra -3.5 v. Delaware | Top | 56-74 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 2 m | Show |
EARLY TOP-RATED 10* HOFSTRA @ DELAWARE CBB PLAY OF THE DAY Good spot to back the Hofstra Pride as they are undervalued after failing to cover the number in four straight games. This game was supposed to be played on Saturday, but it was delayed due to injury issues for Delaware who had only five healthy scholarship players at that time. I don't see this roughed up Blue Hens team hanging around with Hofstra for 40 minutes. 10* play on Hofstra. |
01-12-21 | Wisconsin +4 v. Michigan | Top | 54-77 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 38 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* WISCONSIN @ MICHIGAN BIG TEN PLAY OF THE DAY The No. 7 Michigan Wolverines are an unbeaten 10-0 SU and a solid 8-2 ATS on the season, but I think they'll face a tough test from the No. 9 Wisconsin Badgers in this one. The Badgers have already downed one Bit Ten opponent on the road when they defeated Michigan State by nine points on Christmas Day, and they have a defense that has held opponents to an average of 61.5 points on 38.9 percent shooting on the season. The underdog is 16-5 ATS in the last 21 head-to-head in this series, and this one is likely to go down to the wire. 10* play on Wisconsin. |
01-11-21 | Colorado -2.5 v. Utah | Top | 65-58 | Win | 100 | 6 h 37 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* COLORADO @ UTAH CBB PLAY OF THE DAY The Utah Utes are not playing well at the moment, coming off three straight losses and they have failed to cover the spread in the last two. That includes a 79-73 home loss to Oregon on January 12, a Ducks team Colorado defeated by seven points two days earlier. The Buffaloes have had plenty of rest since, and I think they'll prove too much to handle for the Utes in this one. Buffaloes are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite. Utes are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games as an underdog. 10* top play on Colorado. |
01-09-21 | Ohio State v. Rutgers -3.5 | Top | 79-68 | Loss | -105 | 13 h 17 m | Show |
*BIG BET ALERT* NCAAB BIG TEN ATS GAME OF THE MONTH - 10* TOP PLAY Great bounce-back spot for Rutgers who laid an egg against Michigan State last time out, shooting only 31% from the field in a humiliating 68-45 loss. Ohio State took a 77-60 loss at Minnesota last time out and is 0-4-1 ATS in its last five road games while Rutgers is 15-5-2 ATS in its last 22 home games. The Scarlet Knights rank 35th in the nation making 38.4% of their three-point attempts while the Buckeyes are struggling to defend the three, ranking 258th allowing opponents to make 35.1% of their attempts. 10* play on Rutgers. |
01-08-21 | Purdue v. Michigan State -4.5 | Top | 55-54 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 48 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* PURDUE @ MICHIGAN STATE NCAAB PLAY OF THE DAY The Purdue Boilermakers are 7-5 SU but only 3-7-2 ATS on the season. Admittedly, the 8-3 Michigan State Spartans have been even worse against the number, but I do like the Spartans to win and cover in this one. Michigan State will be looking to build on a 68-45 beatdown of Rutgers last time out. That same Rutgers team defeated Purdue by five points on December 29, and the Boilermakers are 0-4 SU and 0-3-1 ATS on the road on the season and only 2-8-3 ATS in their last 13 games as a road underdog. 10* top play on Michigan State. |
01-07-21 | UCLA -4.5 v. Arizona State | Top | 81-75 | Win | 100 | 1 h 17 m | Show |
*BAILOUT PLAY* UCLA @ ARIZONA STATE 8* MIDNIGHT MASSACRE The UCLA Bruins have just one loss on the season, and they're coming off a 65-51 win over Colorado. The Bruins are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite. The Arizona State Sun Devils are 0-7 ATS in their last seven home games and lost by 13 as a 13-point home favorite against UTEP last time out. That was almost three weeks ago as Arizona State has two games on the road last week because of COVID-19 within its program, and they returned to practice Monday, its third practice since Dec. 21. That's just too long time off to do them any good, and I expect an up-to-speed UCLA team to run away with this one. 8* play on UCLA. |
01-07-21 | Idaho v. Southern Utah UNDER 142 | Top | 80-85 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 9 m | Show |
NCAAB GAME OF THE YEAR ~ TOP RATED 10* BIG SKY TOTAL The Southern Utah Thunderbirds are 4-1 to the over on the season, but I think this one will go under the total. They'll face an Idaho team that averages only 60.0 ppg, and Southern Utah's 84.6 ppg average is misleading as they've been running up the score against cupcake teams. We can also note that both teams make just about 2/3 free throw attempts. This will be Idaho's highest closing total of the season. The previous was a 137 total at Utah on December 18. That game went under by 17 points and I am confident that this to be a low-scoring affair. 10* game of the year play on UNDER. |
01-06-21 | Minnesota +7.5 v. Michigan | Top | 57-82 | Loss | -101 | 12 h 43 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* MINNESOTA @ MICHIGAN BIG TEN PLAY OF THE DAY The #9 Michigan Wolverines are undefeated straight up and a solid 7-2 against the spread on the season. This does however look like too big of a number to cover against the #17 Minnesota Golden Gophers who are off to a 10-2 start. Last time out, the Gophers defeated a hot Ohio State team by 17 points while Michigan is coming off an 85-66 win over the #19 Northwestern Wildcats. Michigan has been shooting lights out, but averaging 52% from the field is way above expectation and I think the Wolverines are due to regress. The Gophers have quality wins over #4 Iowa, #17 Michigan State (and as mentioned #25 Ohio State), and I think they'll give Michigan plenty of trouble in this one. 10* top play of the day. |
01-05-21 | Rutgers v. Michigan State | Top | 45-68 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 29 m | Show |
RUTGERS @ MICHIGAN STATE 10* BIG TEN TOP PLAY OF THE DAY This looks like a great spot to back the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as they look to bounce back from a tough loss as an underdog to Iowa. The Hawkeyes made three free throws in the final 17 seconds to earn a 77-75 victory, but Rutgers was arguably the better team throughout the game. The Scarlet Knights still covered the spread to improve to 20-6-2 ATS in their last 28 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600, and here they'll face a Michigan State team that is coming off its first conference game win after losing their first three Big Ten contests. The Spartans did not cover the number though and they are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games overall. 10* top play on Rutgers. |
01-04-21 | Southern Illinois +11 v. Drake | Top | 55-86 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NCAAB PLAY OF THE DAY The Drake Bulldogs are undefeated straight up and against the spread this season. As a result, oodsmakers know that they can inflate the lines against Drake, and square bettors will still back the Bulldogs. The 7-1 Southern Illinois Salukis are far from a pushover, and as both teams are capable of making it rain from behind the arc, I think Drake will struggle to get separation. 10* top play on Southern Illinois. |
01-03-21 | Houston -2 v. SMU | Top | 74-60 | Win | 100 | 13 h 1 m | Show |
*MAJOR WAGER ALERT* NCAAB GAME OF THE WEEK - 10* TOP PLAY SIDE The Houston Cougars are 7-1, with their only loss coming to Tulsa last time out. They've defeated Texas Tech as underdogs, and I like Houston here in this matchup with SMU. 10* top play on Houston. |
01-02-21 | Texas v. Kansas -3.5 | Top | 84-59 | Loss | -108 | 7 h 57 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY TEXAS @ KANSAS 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Texas Longhorns are 7-1 SU but only 4-4 ATS on the season. They have failed to impress through a fairly soft schedule while the 8-1 SU, 4-4 ATS Kanas Jayhawks are battle-tested with matchups against teams like Gonzaga, Creighton, Texas Tech and West Virginia. Jayhawks are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. 10* play on Kansas. |
12-30-20 | DePaul +8.5 v. Connecticut | Top | 61-82 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 43 m | Show |
DEPAUL @ CONNECTICUT 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The DePaul Blue Demons have played two games a blowout win over Western Illinois and an OT loss at Providence. They have averaged 90.5 ppg while shooting 53.3% from the field and 45.5% from behind the arc. I think their shooting will keep them in this game against a UConn team coming off its first setback of the season, a 76-74 OT loss at Creighton on December 20. Don't be surprised if the Huskies come out rusty following the 10 day layoff. 10* play on DePaul. |
12-29-20 | Miami-FL v. Virginia Tech -6.5 | Top | 78-80 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 57 m | Show |
MIAMI-FL @ VIRGINIA TECH 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Virginia Tech Hokies are 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS on the season. They have covered the spread in three straight wins, the two most recent as 20+ point favorites outscoring their opponents by an average of 33 points while averaging 90.5 ppg. The Miami-Florida Hurricanes are 4-2 SU and 2-4 ATS. They have dropped two of their last three games since opening the year with a 3-0 record and they have failed to cover the spread in three straight games. On the season, they are averaging only 67.8 ppg. The Hokies have covered in eight of the last 11 games in this series and the Hurricanes are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games. 10* play on Virginia Tech. |
12-28-20 | Colorado v. Arizona -125 | Top | 74-88 | Win | 100 | 21 h 15 m | Show |
COLORADO @ ARIZONA 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Arizona Wildcats are 6-1 on the season but only 2-5 ATS. They have failed to cover the number in three straight games, and as a result, they are not getting much respect from the betting market for this matchup with Colorado. The Buffaloes are 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS, but this will be only their second game as an underdog. In their previous game as a dog, they failed to cover +6.5 in a 56-47 loss at Tennessee. Buffaloes are 13-39 ATS in their last 52 road games. Wildcats are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. The home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings. 10* play on Arizona Wildcats. |
12-27-20 | DePaul v. Providence -6.5 | Top | 90-95 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 11 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NCAAB) - DEPAUL @ PROVIDENCE TOP PLAY The DePaul Blue Demons have played only one game this season, a 91-72 win as a 16.5-point favorite over Western Illinois on December 3. I'm not sure they have the tempo and fitness needed to hang around with Providence for a full game. The Friars had won three straight prior to a disappointing 70-64 loss at Butler last time out. This looks like a good spot to bounce back as a home favorite. Blue Demons are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a road underdog. Friars are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite. 10* play on Providence. |
12-23-20 | Providence v. Butler +1.5 | Top | 64-70 | Win | 100 | 8 h 55 m | Show |
PROVIDENCE @ BUTLER 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Butler Bulldogs are 1-3 SU and 0-4 ATS on the season, and they took a 76-73 loss as a 9.5-point favorite over Southern Illinois last time out. I expect them to show up here though, facing Big East rival Providence. The Friars are in a potential letdown spot following back-to-back wins as underdogs, first at TCU and most recently a dramatic OT triumph at Seton Hall. The home team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 head-to-head meetings and Butler is 9-3 ATS in its last 12 games as a home underdog. The Friars meanwhile are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games as a road favorite. 10* play on Butler. |
12-22-20 | North Dakota v. Drake -14.5 | Top | 55-88 | Win | 100 | 17 h 38 m | Show |
NORTH DAKOTA @ DRAKE 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Drake Bulldogs are 8-0 SU and 6-0 ATS (blowout wins against St. Ambrose and McKendree in the two unlined games). They average 86.3 ppg, and all their games by double-digits, each of the last seven by 16 points or more. The North Dakota Fighting Hawks are 1-7 SU and 3-5 ATS on the season and took a 62-50 loss at Southern Illinois last time out. Through their last four games, they are 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS while scoring only 57 points per game. Fighting Hawks are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Bulldogs are 16-7 ATS in their last 23 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. 10* play on Drake. |

12-21-20 | Wofford v. Texas A&M -6 | Top | 52-70 | Win | 100 | 6 h 37 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY WOFFORD @ TEXAS A&M 10* BOOKIE BREAKER The Texas A&M Aggies are 4-1 SU but only 1-4 ATS on the season. They've been asked to cover huge numbers in their wins but took an 18-point loss as one-point favorites over TCU on a neutral court. Last time out, the Aggies held SE Louisiana to 52 points on 37.0% shooting from the floor, and I think they'll be ready for this opportunity to test themselves against a more competent opponent after the TCU debacle earlier this month. 10* play on Texas A&M. |
12-20-20 | Creighton -2.5 v. Connecticut | Top | 76-74 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 9 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB) - 10* BIG EAST MAJOR WAGER TOP PLAY I like the Creighton Bluejays to win and cover in this early Big East matchup against the Connecticut Huskies. Connecticut is undefeated, but it has played only three games all season and is likely to be coming into this contest a bit rusty. The last time the Huskies were in action was when beating Southern California 61-58 on Dec. 3. Creighton is playing really well on the offensive end, averaging 86.3 ppg (24th) and ranking 18th in the nation for field goal percentage. Last time out, the Bluejays rolled past St. John's 94-76 on Thursday shooting 57 percent from the field in general (38-of-67) and deep (13-of-23). Bluejays are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Bluejays are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games overall. 10* play on Creighton. |
12-19-20 | Gonzaga v. Iowa +4.5 | Top | 99-88 | Loss | -105 | 3 h 36 m | Show |
GONZAGA VS IOWA 10* NCAAB BOOKIE BREAKER I think the #3 Iowa Hawkeyes will stand up nicely to the #1 Gonzaga Bulldogs here in the marquee matchup of the weekend. Gonzaga has played only three games on the season and they've been sidelined for more than two weeks after defeating West Virginia 87-82 on December 2. Iowa on the other hand has gone undefeated through six games and covered the spread in five of them. The only game the Hawkeyes didn't cover was as a 28.5-point favorite against Southern Jaguars when they "only" one by 27 points. They're coming off back-to-back 100+ point outings and they average 100.5 ppg on the season. Gonzaga ranks 299th in the nation for scoring defense, allowing 79.7 ppg. 10* play on Iowa. |
12-16-20 | Massachusetts -3.5 v. La Salle | Top | 85-66 | Win | 100 | 6 h 52 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY UMASS @ LA SALLE 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Massachusetts Minutemen are 1-1 SU and ATS on the season after splitting a couple of decisions with Northeastern Huskies. They lost the last game, but I like the Minutemen to bounce back here against a La Salle side that is 2-3 SU and 1-3 ATS. Last season UMass defeated La Salle twice and they have averaged a solid 84.5 ppg this season, which can be compared to the Explorer's 62.6 ppg. 10* play on Umass. |
12-14-20 | Rutgers v. Maryland -2.5 | Top | 74-60 | Loss | -107 | 13 h 5 m | Show |
RUTGERS @ MARYLAND 10* NCAAB PLAY OF THE DAY The Maryland Terrapins are 4-1 on the season following a 67-51 loss to Clemson last time out. "We weren't ready to play," Terrapins coach Mark Turgeon said. "We were out of it. We had a lot of guys not play well. We missed layups early. We missed free throws early and turned the ball over. We were about as selfish as any one of my teams had ever played, so we've got a lot of work to do." I think that was a much-needed wake-up call for the Terps after blowing out inferior competition through their first four games, and I expect a much better performance from Maryland here in the opener of their Big Ten season against the 4-0 Rutgers Scarlet Knights. 10* play on Maryland. |
12-11-20 | St. John's +6 v. Seton Hall | Top | 68-77 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 2 m | Show |
ST. JOHN'S VS SETON HALL NCAAB 10* BOOKIE BREAKER The St. John Red Storm are 5-1 SU and 3-3 ATS on the season. The Seton Hall Pirates are 3-3 SU and 4-2 ATS. While Seton Hall has a couple of blowouts against smaller schools on its resume, it has struggled more often than not in close matchups. St. John's lone loss of the season was a 74-68 loss at BYU on December 2. Last time out, they played down to their competition in a three-point win over Rider as an 18.5-point favorite, but I expect more focus and a much better performance from the Red Storm in this one. 10* play on St. John's. |
12-09-20 | Indiana v. Florida State -3 | Top | 67-69 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 55 m | Show |
INDIANA @ FLORIDA STATE 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The No. 20 Florida State Seminoles have played only one game on the season, and this will be the first real test after opening the season with an 86-48 blowout win as a 25.5-point favorite over North Florida on December 2. The Indiana Hoosiers have played four games but were also most recently in action on December 2 when they defeated Stanford 79-63. Still, the Hoosiers rank only 174th in the nation for points per game and they are shooting 29.3% from 3-point range. Indiana will not be getting many easy buckets in the paint against this tall FSU team (first in the nation in average height), and I expect the Noles height and depth advantage will allow them to run away with this game in the end. 10* play on Florida State. |
12-08-20 | Creighton +3.5 v. Kansas | Top | 72-73 | Win | 100 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
CREIGHTON @ KANSAS 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The #5 Kansas Jayhawks have rattled off four straight wins since taking an L to top-ranked Gonzaga in their season opener. They looked anything but impressive in their in against North Dakota State on Saturday though, winning by only four points as a 25-point favorite. I think the Jayhawks are in for a tough one here against an undefeated 3-0 No.7 Creighton Bluejays team, that admittedly has yet to be tested. Still, the Bluejays have taken care of each of their opponents with ease, defeating North Dakota State, Omaha, and Kennesaw State by double-digits. Bluejays are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a straight up win. Jayhawks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win. 10* play on Creighton. |
12-06-20 | Villanova +2 v. Texas | Top | 68-64 | Win | 100 | 6 h 8 m | Show |
VILLANOVA @ TEXAS 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY This looks like a great spot to back #12 Villanova against a Texas team that might be gassed out after several tough matchups in a short timeframe. On Nov 30 the #17 Longhorns defeated Davidson, on Dec 1 Indiana before taking down No. 14 North Carolina in the Maui Invitational championship game on Wednesday. The Wildcats on the other hand have had their last two games canceled, so they have played only two games in the last eight days. 10* play on Villanova. |
12-04-20 | South Alabama v. Auburn UNDER 143 | Top | 81-90 | Loss | -114 | 15 h 52 m | Show |
10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Auburn Tigers opened the season with a 96-91 OT win over St. Joe's, but they have managed only 67 and 55 points in their last two games, losses to Gonzaga and UCF. South Alabama is averaging 80.5 points per game, but against much lesser opponents than the Tigers. Last time out, the Jaguars limited Emmanuel Lions to 47 points. Auburn has yet to find its scoring touch, and I think this will be a low-scoring contest. 10* play on UNDER. |
12-02-20 | West Virginia v. Gonzaga -8.5 | Top | 82-87 | Loss | -106 | 16 h 1 m | Show |
WEST VIRGINIA VS GONZAGA 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The #1 Gonzaga Bulldogs have opened the season undefeated (what else is new), defeating two quality opponents in No. 6-ranked Kansas and Auburn. The Zags will take on #2 Baylor this weekend, and I think they'll want a proper tune-up and keep up the momentum heading into that heavy-weight meeting rather than looking ahead and coming out flat here. They've pushed their weight around in each contest so far (3-0 ATS), controlling every aspect of the game completely. Gonzaga forwards Drew Timme and Corey Kispert have combined for more than 50 points per game. The #11 West Virginia Mountaineers have opened the season with wins over South Dakota State, VCU, and Western Kentucky, this is a major step up in competition. We can also note that they had to come back from a 10-point second-half deficit to defeat the Hilltoppers last time out, and I'm not nearly as impressed by WV as by Gonzaga. 10* play on Gonzaga. |
12-01-20 | USC v. BYU -3 | Top | 79-53 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 29 m | Show |
EARLY USC VS BYU ROMAN LEGENDS CLASSIC 10* TOP PLAY Both the USC Trojans and the BYU Cougars are heading into this Roman Legends Classic clash unbeaten, USC with a 2-0 record while BYU is 3-0. While BYU has been solid on both ends of the court ranking 23rd in the nation for points scored (92.0 ppg) and yet to allow more than 61 points on the season, note that USC has allowed almost 75 points per game. The Trojans needed overtime to get past California Baptist as a 19-point favorite in their season opener before coming through with a better effort in a 76-62 win over Montana last time out. BYU meanwhile has been dominant in each of its games, winning by an average of 32 points. Sure, this is no doubt a step up in competition compared to their previous opponents, but I think the Cougars are well worth a look in this one. 10* play on BYU Cougars. |
11-30-20 | Texas v. Davidson OVER 136 | Top | 78-76 | Win | 100 | 6 h 31 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY 10* NCAAB BOOKIE BREAKER TOTAL TOP PLAY The Texas Longhorns put a 91-55 beating on Texas Rio Grande Valley in their season opener. They shot 57% from the field (41% from 3-point range) and five players scored in double-figures. Here they'll face a Davidson squad that opened the season with an 82-73 win over High Point Panthers. While that's a good offensive output, giving up 73 points to a team like High Point does not bode well for its defense. Both sides hit the ground running offensively, and I expect to see another shootout. 10* play on OVER. |
11-28-20 | Virginia Tech v. Villanova -9.5 | Top | 81-73 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 19 m | Show |
VIRGINIA TECH VS VILLANOVA NCAAB 10* TOP PLAY The #3 Villanova Wildcats looked sluggish in their season-opening win over Boston College. Their second outing, a solid 83-74 win as a 6-point favorite against No. 18 Arizona State on Thursday, was more like the Nova team we expect to see and I think they'll roll over Arizona State here on Saturday. The Hokies opened the season with a 77-62 win as a 19-point favorite over Radford on November 25. I'm not sure the two-day break will be an advantage this early in the season when it's all about building momentum, and this is obviously a big step up in competition compared to Radford. Hokies are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog. Wildcats are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 neutral site games as a favorite. 10* play on Villanova. |
11-27-20 | Auburn v. Gonzaga OVER 160 | Top | 67-90 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 54 m | Show |
EARLY AUBURN VS GONZAGA 10* NCAAB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY My premium pick subscribers and I won with the #1 Gonzaga Bulldogs as an ATS favorite when they flexed their muscles and showed no mercy in an impressive 102-90 win over Kansas on Thursday. Auburn meanwhile needed overtime to defeat Saint Joseph’s as an 8.5-point favorite (we won a free pick on the Hawks) in its season opener. Gonzaga is the team to beat, and as it is playing at a blistering tempo it will win more shootouts than low-scoring affairs. I expect to see this game fly over the total by a wide margin. 10* play on OVER. |
03-09-20 | St. Mary's v. BYU -4 | Top | 51-50 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 54 m | Show |
LATE NIGHT NCAAB BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The St. Mary's Gaels and the BYU Cougars have split two close games this season, but I like BYU to win and cover the spread in this West Coast Conference Tournament semifinal matchup in Las Vegas Monday night. The Gaels needed double-overtime to get past Pepperdine on Saturday while BYU put an 81-64 beating on that same Pepperdine team last time out on Feb 29. BYU should have plenty of energy saved up for this one while heavy legs could become an issue for the Gaels. The Gaels are 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games overall and 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games as an underdog while the Cougars are 15-6 ATS in their last 21 games overall and 12-5 ATS in their last 17 games as a favorite. 10* play on BYU. |
03-08-20 | Connecticut -6.5 v. Tulane | Top | 80-76 | Loss | -109 | 12 h 36 m | Show |
TOP RATED NCAAB PLAY OF THE DAY I like the Connecticut Huskies to come through as a favorite over the Tulane Green Wave in their AAC regular-season finale on Sunday. The Green Wave sit dead last in the conference at 4-13 while Connecticut owns a decent 9-8 record. The Huskies have closed out the season on fire, coming off four straight wins including a 77-71 upset win over Houston last time out. They've scored an average of 80 ppg during that winning streak while Tulane's offense is one of the worst in the nation with just 68.1 ppg on average throughout the season. While Connecticut was in action just three days ago, Tulane last played on Feb 29, a 74-67 OT loss to Memphis. I would not be surprised if the home team might take a while to get up to speed again, and by that time the Huskies should have already built up a sizable lead. UConn won the first matchup this year in Storrs 67-61, and I expect an even larger victory margin in this one. 10* play on Connecticut. |
03-07-20 | North Carolina v. Duke OVER 152.5 | Top | 76-89 | Win | 100 | 12 h 34 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB) - TOP RATED ACC TOTAL The North Carolina Tar Heels have scored 85+ points in three straight games and they're 5-1 to the over in their last six. As for the Duke Blue Devils, they're coming off an 88-69 triumph over NC State and five of their last six games have gone over the total. Duke is 13-4 to the over in all home games on the season and 5-2 to the over when the total is 150 to 159.5 points. 10* play on OVER. |
03-07-20 | UCLA +4 v. USC | Top | 52-54 | Win | 100 | 14 h 29 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): TOP RATED PAC-12 SIDE The red hot UCLA Bruins head into this contest riding a seven-game winning streak and they're 5-1-1 ATS during that stretch and winning four of those seven straight up as underdogs. On the season, the Bruins are 8-4 ATS as an underdog and I think they'll keep it close here in this Pac-12 matchup with the USC Trojans. Note that at 12-5, UCLA is battling Oregon for the Pac-12 title while USC is "only" 10-7 in conference play. The Trojans are coming off back-to-back wins, but they had lost two consecutive games prior to the current winning streak and they're 9-8 ATS as a favorite this season. 10* play on UCLA Bruins. |
03-06-20 | Missouri State -1.5 v. Indiana State | Top | 78-51 | Win | 100 | 13 h 11 m | Show |
TGIF MVC TOURNAMENT *TOP PLAY* The Missouri State Bears have covered the spread in seven of their last eight overall, the lone exception a blowout loss at Valparaiso. Last time out they put an 84-59 beating on Southern Illinois and they're 9-0 ATS after allowing 60 points or fewer this season. As for Indiana State, while the team is coming off four straight wins (3-0-1 ATS), note that it took a 71-58 loss to Missouri State in the last meeting on Feb 16. I like the Bears to come through in this Missouri Valley Conference quarterfinal matchup. 10* play on Missouri State. |
02-29-20 | DePaul v. Butler -8 | Top | 42-60 | Win | 100 | 11 h 54 m | Show |
BIG EAST BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The Butler Bulldogs are heading into the weekend off three consecutive losses, but I like their chances of not only winning straight up but also covering the number in this matchup with DePaul. This is a big bounce back spot for Butler who took an 81-59 beating at No. 11 Creighton last time out and it'll also look to avenge a 13-point loss at DePaul last month. The Blue Demons have won just two Big East games all season and they've covered the spread in only one of their last six games. 10* play on Butler. |
02-28-20 | Georgia Southern +5.5 v. Georgia State | Top | 79-70 | Win | 100 | 18 h 36 m | Show |
FRIDAY NIGHT SUN BELT BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The Georgia Southern Eagles have won four of their last six games and put an 81-61 beating on Utah as a 5-point road underdog last time out. They average a healthy 75.1 ppg on the season, and I like them to keep even pace with the Georgia State Panthers in this one. Georgia State is coming off back-to-back road losses SU and ATS, and while it won by five points at Georgia Southern last month, note that it was losing straight up for most of the game and only managed to pull away late. 10* play on Georgia Southern. |
02-27-20 | Illinois -6.5 v. Northwestern | Top | 74-66 | Win | 100 | 11 h 52 m | Show |
THURSDAY NIGHT BIG TEN BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The Northwestern Wildcats are just 4-10 SU (3-11 ATS) at home. Last time out they took an 83-57 beating by Minnesota here at Welsh-Ryan Arena and they're 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games following a double-digit loss at home. As for the Illinois Fighting Illini, they're coming off back-to-back triumphs, including a road win at Penn State. Illinois is 6-2 ATS in its last eight road games vs. a team with a losing home record and needs a win here to stay in the hunt for its first Big Ten regular-season title in 15 years. 10* play on Illinois. |
02-26-20 | Rutgers v. Penn State -6 | Top | 64-65 | Loss | -104 | 15 h 55 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED BIG TEN TOTAL The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are an underdog at Penn State Nittany Lions Wednesday night, and for a good reason in my opinion. The Lions are third in the Big Ten despite back-to-back losses and can simply not afford to drop this one. On the season, Penn State is 12-2 (8-5-1 ATS) as a home favorite it'll be looking to avenge a double-digit loss to Rutgers on the road last month. Penn State is holding opponents to 62.0 ppg home at Bryce Jordan Center, and while Rutgers is holding opponents to 62.2 ppg overall, note that the number jumps to 69.5 ppg allowed on the road where the team is just 1-7 SU. 10* play on Penn State. |
02-24-20 | West Virginia v. Texas +5.5 | Top | 57-67 | Win | 100 | 11 h 18 m | Show |
TOP RATED WEST VIRGINIA @ TEXAS NCAAB PLAY OF THE DAY, The West Virginia Mountaineers have dropped four of their last five straight up and they're 2-6 ATS in their last eight games. On the season, they're 2-4 SU and 1-5 ATS in true road games, and I think they're asked to cover way too many points against the Longhorns in Austin, Texas Monday night. Texas is coming off a solid 70-59 victory as a 5.5-point underdog at Kansas State to make it back-to-back wins. They've played terrific defense in recent weeks and should be to able to fend off the slumping Mountaineers. 10* play on Texas Longhorns. |
02-23-20 | Butler v. Creighton -5.5 | Top | 59-81 | Win | 100 | 13 h 59 m | Show |
BIG EAST BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The Creighton Bluejays are red hot with eight straight-up wins in their last nine games and a 7-2 ATS record. That stretch includes impressive triumph over No. 19 Marquette, No. 13 Villanova and No. 14 Seton Hall and I think they'll win and cover the spread against Butler on Sunday. The Bulldogs have not been at their best lately with just two wins in their last six games (1-4-1 ATS). This game means a lot for the Bluejays who sit only one game out of first place in the Big East, and it's also a revenge game after a 14-point loss at Hinkle Fieldhouse last month. 10* play on Creighton. |
02-22-20 | Clemson -4 v. Boston College | Top | 82-64 | Win | 100 | 19 h 43 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED SIDE FOR FEBRUARY The Boston College Eagles have covered the spread in four of their last six overall, but they came up short in a 78-65 loss at Virginia last time out and I don't see them keeping pace with Clemson in this Saturday night matchup. The Tigers have averaged 83 ppg in impressive back-to-back upset wins over Pittsburgh and Louisville and they're one of the best defensive teams in the ACC while Boston College averages only 64.9 ppg on the season. We can also note that Clemson has had six days to prepare for this contest while Boston College last played two days ago and this will be the Eagles' third game in just seven days. Look for Clemson to run away with this game. 10* play on Clemson Tigers. |
02-19-20 | Syracuse v. Louisville -9.5 | Top | 66-90 | Win | 100 | 16 h 13 m | Show |
MIDWEEK MADNESS ACC ANNIHILATOR *TOP PLAY* The No. 11 Louisville Cardinals are coming off back-to-back losses, first at Georgia Tech and most recently an embarrassing setback at Clemson. They had reeled off 10 straight triumphs before that and defeated Virginia 80-73 last time out home at KFC Yum! Center to improve to 6-3-1 ATS in their last 10 as a home favorite. The Orange have lost four of their last five and took an 80-77 loss at FSU on Saturday. They're 1-5 ATS after allowing 80 points or more and this won't be easy against a Louisville team that averages 77.2 ppg in their own building and ranks 11th in the nation for 3-point shooting home & away combined. The home team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings between these two teams and I think the cardinals will put a real beating on Syracuse Wednesday night. 10* play on Louisville Cardinals. |
02-17-20 | Iowa State v. Kansas UNDER 145.5 | Top | 71-91 | Loss | -115 | 18 h 21 m | Show |
MONDAY NIGHT CBB BOOKIE BREAKER TOTAL *TOP PLAY* The Kansas Jayhawks put an 81-70 beating on Oklahoma last time out, but I predict a much lower-scoring contest when they host the Iowa State Cyclones Monday night. The Jayhawks have a truly elite defense that ranks eighth in the nation for points allowed, and I think they'll clamp down on the defensive end in this one after a subpar defensive outing against the Sooners. Kansas is 6-2 to the under when the total is 140 to 149.5 points this season and 16-8 to the under overall. The first meeting of the season back in January wasn’t pretty for Iowa State as Kansas put a 79-53 beating on the Cyclones. Iowa State is coming off an 81-52 rout of Texas, but points will be much harder to come by in this one and I expect to see the final score stay under the posted total. 10* on UNDER. |
02-16-20 | Villanova -6 v. Temple | Top | 76-56 | Win | 100 | 12 h 3 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY TOP RATED CBB PLAY OF THE DAY The No. 16 Villanova Wildcats look like a solid road favorite in this non-league contest at Temple on Sunday. Nova is 0-3-1 ATS in its last four games, but at least it snapped an 0-3 SU skid with a 72-71 win against Marquette last time out. Getting a break from the Big East schedule could be just what the team needs, and here it'll face an Owls side that might feel a bit too good about itself after winning three of four. I'm not convinced the Owls will be ready for what Nova will throw at them. The Wildcats are 3-0 SU (2-1 ATS) as road favorites on the season and the favorite is 12-2 ATS in the last 14 head-to-head meetings with Temple. 10* play on Villanova. |
02-15-20 | LSU +2.5 v. Alabama | Top | 82-88 | Loss | -109 | 15 h 8 m | Show |
LSU @ ALABAMA SATURDAY CBB *TOP PLAY* The Alabama Crimson Tide have dropped four of their last five games after taking a tough overtime loss to Auburn on Wednesday. They've covered the number in only two of their last six and have had trouble stopping opponents from scoring. That does not bode well for this matchup against a dynamic LSU team that bounced back from road losses at Vanderbilt and Auburn with an 82-79 triumph over Missouri last time out. LSU is 3-0 ATS as a road underdog of 3 points or less or a pick'em on the season and 7-1 ATS in such spots over the last three seasons. Additionally, the Tigers put a 90-76 beating on the Tide as a 5.5-point favorite in Baton Rouge earlier this season. 10* play on LSU Tigers. |
02-13-20 | Wichita State -3 v. UCF | Top | 75-58 | Win | 100 | 10 h 28 m | Show |
NCAAB BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The Central Florida Knights are 8-4 SU at home this season but 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a home underdog. The visiting Wichita State Shockers are 3-3 SU on the road this season but 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Shockers have covered the number in only one of their last eight games overall while winning only three of those eight outright, but I think they should be able to keep a limited UCF offense at bay in this one, particularly after taking an embarrassing 76-43 loss at No. 19 Houston on Sunday. Central Florida on the other hand is in a potential letdown spot following two straight wins (both as favorites). Wichita State won the first meeting of the season 87-79 on Jan 25 and it has won four straight head-to-head matchups with UCF. 10* play on Wichita State Shockers. |
02-11-20 | Penn State v. Purdue UNDER 135 | Top | 88-76 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 7 m | Show |
PENN STATE @ PURDUE TOTAL BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The Purdue Boilermakers own a top 10 scoring defense in the nation and they're also one of the slowest at just 67.8 possessions per game. They've allowed 68 or fewer points in three straight games and they're allowing just 57 points per game home at Mackey Arena on the season. Five of their last six overall have gone over the total, but I think the bookmakers have overadjusted the number for this one. The No. 13 Penn State Nittany Lions are one of the hottest teams in the conference, but while they're capable of putting up but numbers, there's no doubt that the Lions can play D as well. Additionally, we can note that they're 4-1 to the under in their last five games. 10* play on UNDER. |
02-10-20 | Baylor -5.5 v. Texas | Top | 52-45 | Win | 100 | 14 h 30 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): MIKE'S BAYLOR @ TEXAS *TOP PLAY* The No. 1 Baylor Bears put a 59-44 beating on the Longhorns in Waco just over a month ago, and I predict another Baylor win at Frank Erwin Center, Austin, TX Monday night. Baylor is holding opponents to 59.0 ppg on the season and Texas has struggled to score for the better part of the season, and even more so in recent games putting up just 58 and 57 points respectively in its last two contests. The Longhorns have dropped five of their last seven, and while Baylor hasn't been at its best in the last two games (2-0 SU, 0-2 ATS) I expect the Bears to come motivated for this one. Bears are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 9-2 ATS away from home on the season. Longhorns are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 home games. 10* play on Baylor. |
02-09-20 | Ohio State +1.5 v. Wisconsin | Top | 57-70 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 7 m | Show |
OHIO STATE @ WISCONSIN BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The Ohio State Buckeyes travel to Wisconsin riding a three-game winning streak. They've held opponents to 59, 59 and 58 points during that stretch and are 10-1 ATS after allowing 60 points or less on the season. As for the Badgers, they've dropped three of their last four after taking a 70-52 loss at Minnesota on Wednesday, They're 1-5 ATS after scoring 60 points or less this season and they've covered the spread in only one of their last seven games overall. The Buckeyes will be well up for this one after dropping a 61-57 decision to the Badgers in Columbus last month, and I expect them to get revenge today. 10* play on Ohio State. |
02-08-20 | West Virginia v. Oklahoma UNDER 140 | Top | 59-69 | Win | 100 | 13 h 23 m | Show |
WEST VIRGINIA @ OKLAHOMA BIG 12 BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The West Virginia Mountaineers have a top-20 scoring defense in the nation and have held their last two opponents to an average of 59 points. They're 15-7 to the under on the season and 6-2 to the under in their last eight road games. As for the Oklahoma Sooners, they've struggled to shoot the ball lately (63.2 ppg average last five games). Eight of their last 10 overall and each of their last six games closing as an underdog have gone under the total. I think they'll struggle to get open looks against this solid West Virginia team and that we'll see the final score stay under the posted total with quite some margin. 10* play on UNDER. |
02-07-20 | Maryland v. Illinois -3 | Top | 75-66 | Loss | -109 | 12 h 38 m | Show |
MARYLAND @ ILLINOIS BIG TEN BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* There is a lot at stake in this contest as with both teams at 8-3, the winner of this one will take sole command of the Big Ten conference. No. 21 Illinois took a 72-65 loss against 17th-ranked Iowa on Sunday, its first setback in a month. The Fighting Illini are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a straight up loss and I like them to bounce back here. The No. 9 Maryland Terrapins have won five straight following a 56-51 triumph over Rutgers, but it wasn't pretty and the Terps trailed by five at the half. The Terps won the first meeting 59-58 win Dec. 7, but they're 1-3-1 ATS in their last five road games vs. a team with a winning home record and Illinois should be able to put up an even better fight in its own building. 10* play on Illinois. |
02-06-20 | Louisiana Tech v. Western Kentucky UNDER 143.5 | Top | 54-65 | Win | 100 | 19 h 51 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): TOP RATED TOTAL *MAJOR WAGER* I expect to see a relatively low-scoring affair when the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers host the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Thursday night. Louisiana Tech owns a top-25 scoring defense in the nation on the season, and the total for this contest is inflated after four straight overs through a four-game winning streak. Five of its previous six had gone under though and under is 25-12-1 in the Bulldogs last 38 road games. As for the Hilltoppers, they've alternated over and unders through their last four games, and we can note that they're 11-4 to the under in their last 15 games as a home underdog (WK is a 1.5-point dog at the time of this pick). Louisiana Tech came away with a 62-50 home win against Western Kentucky in the lone meeting last season and while more points is expected for this one, I doubt it'll reach the posted total. 10* play on UNDER. |
02-05-20 | Seton Hall -3.5 v. Georgetown | Top | 78-71 | Win | 100 | 11 h 50 m | Show |
BIG EAST BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The No. 13 Seton Hall Pirates are 3-1 SU and ATS as favorites of fewer than five points this season, and I like them to win and cover at Georgetown Wednesday night. We can also note that they'll be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 74-62 home loss as an 8.5-point favorite against Xavier to close out a three-game road trip and that Seton Hall is 16-5 ATS in its last 21 road games following three or more consecutive home games and 7-0 ATS in its last seven games following a double-digit loss at home. As for the Hoyas, they just snapped a three-game SU and ATS skid with a 73-72 upset win at St. John's which sets up a potential let down spot tonight. 10* play on Seton Hall. |
02-04-20 | Rutgers v. Maryland -7.5 | Top | 51-56 | Loss | -104 | 14 h 14 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): TOP RATED BIG TEN SIDE *WHITE HOT 11-0 RUN* The No. 9 Maryland Terrapins have won four on the bounce and seven of their last nine games, including an impressive 82-72 victory against No. 17 Iowa on Thursday. They're 6-2-1 ATS during that nine-game stretch and I think they'll win and cover the line when hosting Rutgers in Big Ten action Tuesday night. The Scarlet Knights took a 69-63 loss to Michigan last time out and while their defense is one of the best in the conference, they'll find it hard to slow down a Maryland team that is humming on all cylinders and has scored 77 points or more in three straight games. The Terps are a perfect 5-0 ATS as a home favorite of fewer than 10 points on the season and I'm counting on them to remain perfect after this contest. 10* play on Maryland Terrapins. |
01-30-20 | Minnesota v. Illinois -4.5 | Top | 51-59 | Win | 100 | 19 h 58 m | Show |
GAME OF THE YEAR (NCAAB): MIKE'S REG SEASON SIDE *MAJOR WAGER* The Illinois Fighting Illini are coming off back-to-back underdog wins on the road, and now they return home to State Farm Center where they're 11-1 SU on the season. They've failed to cover the spread in two straight games in their own building, but I think the Illini will get the job done here against a Minnesota team that has lost two of its last three, has failed to cover the number in both losses and averaged only 56.6 ppg through those three games. The Gophers are 2-6-1 ATS in their losses on the season while Illinois is 9-4-1 ATS in its victories. As I expect Illinois to win this game outright, I think it's a fair assumption that they'll cover the spread. 10* play on Illinois. |
01-29-20 | Indiana v. Penn State -6 | Top | 49-64 | Win | 100 | 18 h 22 m | Show |
WEDNESDAY NIGHT NCAAB *MAJOR WAGER* TOP PLAY The No. 23 Penn State Nittany Lions are 10-1 SU at home on the season and 11-5-1 ATS in their last 17 home games. Here they'll host an Indiana team that is 1-3 SU and ATS on the road on the season and most likely not in a good mood after taking a home loss to Maryland last time out. The Nittany Lions' offense ranks top 50 in the nation and they are coming off back-to-back underdog wins over Ohio State and Michigan. "I really think we’re starting to play our best basketball heading into February," Penn State coach Patrick Chambers told reporters. "We’re really starting to click and play well." The home team is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five head-to-head meetings and Penn State will be well up for this after losing the last four matchups straight up, including a tough two-point home loss last year. 10* play on Penn State Nittany Lions. |
01-28-20 | Butler +1 v. Georgetown | Top | 69-64 | Win | 100 | 18 h 4 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED BIG EAST BOOKIE BREAKER The No. 17 Butler Bulldogs snapped a three-game skid with an 89-85 OT win over Marquette last time out. I think they'll make it two in a row when visiting the Georgetown Hoyas Tuesday night. The Bulldogs are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up win and they'll face a Hoyas side that has lost three of its last four and two on the bounce. Georgetown put up just 57 points in a nine-point loss at Xavier last time out and points won't come easy against this Butler team that has held opponents to 59.4 (8th) ppg on the season. Additionally, we can note that the road team is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 head-to-head meetings and that Butler has won four straight games at Georgetown. 10* play on Butler Bulldogs. |
01-27-20 | Wisconsin v. Iowa -5.5 | Top | 62-68 | Win | 100 | 15 h 6 m | Show |
WISCONSIN @ IOWA BIG 10 BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The No. 19 Iowa Hawkeyes are 11-1 SU at home on the season and they had covered the spread in seven straight home games prior to a push in an 85-80 win over Rutgers last time out. Here they'll host a Wisconsin team that took a 70-51 beating at Purdue Friday night and the Badgers are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games. Wisconsin has a top 20 defense in the nation, but I think the team will struggle to slow down an Iowa side that averages 80.2 ppg. 10* play on Iowa Hawkeyes. |
01-25-20 | Missouri v. West Virginia UNDER 134.5 | Top | 51-74 | Win | 100 | 10 h 51 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL The West Virginia Mountaineers and the Missouri Tigers are both 12-6 to the under on the season, and both teams rank in the top 30 in the nation for points allowed. Additionally, Missouri has struggled to score points through a 1-5 slide and it'll face a West Virginia side that has held four of its last five opponents to fewer than 60 points. Under is 6-0 in Missouri games when the total is 130 to 139.5 points and 3-0 in West Virginia's games fitting the same criteria. 10* play on UNDER. |
01-20-20 | Oklahoma v. Baylor UNDER 136.5 | Top | 57-61 | Win | 100 | 11 h 47 m | Show |
NCAAB MLK DAY TOP PLAY - LATE START The Baylor Bears have the sixth best scoring defense in the nation, allowing just 58.6 ppg. They're coming off a high-scoring 75-68 win at Oklahoma State but had played four straight unders prior to that. Here they'll face an Oklahoma team that also had played four straight unders prior to an 83-63 loss to TCU. Under is 7-3 in Sooners last 10 games as a road underdog and 6-1 in Bears last 7 games as a home favorite. 10* play on UNDER. |
01-15-20 | Wichita State v. Temple OVER 134.5 | Top | 53-65 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 58 m | Show |
WEDNESDAY NIGHT NCAAB TOTAL *TOP PLAY* The No. 16 Wichita State's explosive offense averages 77.6 ppg on the season and the Shockers have poured in points through a nine-game winning streak. Here they'll take on a Temple side that has dropped three straight games and surrendered 70+ points in two of those contests. While Temple is a fairly low-scoring team, Wichita State has weaknesses on the defensive end that can be exploited. Over is 9-1 in Shockers last 10 overall. Over is 6-2 in Shockers' last 8 games as a road favorite. Over is 6-0 in Owls last 6 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. 10* play on OVER. |
01-11-20 | Ohio State v. Indiana UNDER 135 | Top | 54-66 | Win | 100 | 11 h 13 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NCAAB: MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL FOR JANUARY I think we'll see a relatively low-scoring game when the Ohio State Buckeyes visit the Indiana Hoosiers in college basketball action Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes are 4-1 to the under through their last five games and 10-5 to the under on the season. They've been held to fewer than 60 points in three straight contests and shot just 31% from the field in a 55-67 loss to Maryland on Tuesday. As for Indiana, it defeated Northwestern 66-62 last time out to make it 4-0 to the under through its last four games. 10* play on UNDER. |
01-10-20 | Butler v. Providence +2.5 | Top | 70-58 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 16 m | Show |
BUTLER @ PROVIDENCE BIG EAST BOOKIE BREAKER *TOP PLAY* The Providence Friars are on fire with four straight wins and they won outright as a six-point underdog at Marquette on Tuesday. I think they have a great shot at winning this one against a Butler team that routed Creighton last time out, but that contest took place almost a week ago so the team is at risk of coming out sluggish here. Additionally, note that the Friars won all three meetings last season and the home team is is 8-1 ATS in the last 9 meetings. 10* play on Providence Friars. |
01-07-20 | Providence +6 v. Marquette | Top | 81-80 | Win | 100 | 10 h 11 m | Show |
PROVIDENCE @ MARQUETTE NCAAB BANKROLL BUILDER The Providence Friars have opened Big East play with triumphs over Georgetown and DePaul. I think they'll give the Marquette a scare here as the Golden Eagles are in a sandwich spot, coming off a win over then-10th ranked Villanova and tougher matchups on deck, first at Seton Hall and then at home against Xavier. While Marquette has impressed home at Fiserv Forum, I think this game will be closer than the point spread would suggest. 8* play on Providence. |
01-04-20 | Virginia Tech +8 v. Virginia | Top | 39-65 | Loss | -109 | 16 h 45 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED AFTERNOON SIDE I'm happy to take the points on the Virginia Tech Hokies when they visit the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday. Virginia has the top rated defense in the nation, but scoring on VT isn't easy either with the team limiting opponents to 61.1 ppg. Virginia has been asked to cover inflated spreads all season long and is a result only 3-9 ATS with only nine covers through its last 10 games. The Hokies must be feeling pretty good about themselves and ready for a road game following four straight home wins. They're 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games following three or more consecutive home games and I'm looking for the visitors to keep this relatively close. 10* play on Virginia Tech. |
12-31-19 | Temple -2 v. UCF | Top | 62-58 | Win | 100 | 13 h 49 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED SIDE FOR DECEMBER The Temple Owls took a tough one-point defeat to Miami-Florida on Dec 17, but they bounced back with a dominant 78-66 triumph over Rider four days later. I like them to pick up another win here against a UFC side that saw a six-game winning streak come to an end with a one-point loss of its own at Oklahoma on Dec 21. The Knights covered the spread, but this won't be an easy matchup against an Owl team that is 10th in the nation in defensive field goal percentage and 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games. 10* play on Temple. |
12-28-19 | Long Beach State v. Florida OVER 136.5 | Top | 63-102 | Win | 100 | 10 h 29 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL FOR DECEMBER The Florida Gators shot just 32 percent from the field and 24 percent from 3-point range in a 65-62 setback to Utah State last time out. I expect them to have much more success here against a Long Beach State side that is allowing 78.0 ppg and gave up 79 in a loss at Seattle on Dec 23. Over is 6-1 in Beach last 7 road games and 5-1 in Gators last 6 overall. 10* play on OVER. |
12-18-19 | East Tennessee State v. LSU -9.5 | Top | 74-63 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 0 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): TOP RATED SIDE *MAJOR WAGER ALERT* The LSU Tigers have scored 90+ points in three of their last four games, all wins SU and ATS. The East Tennessee St. Buccaneers on the other hand may have won four of their last five straight up, but they're just 0-4 ATS in lined games during that stretch. LSU has been shooting lights out home at Maravich Assembly Center all season, coming into this contest with a perfect 6-0 SU record and four straight covers ATS. ETSU took a 78-68 loss as a 3.5-point favorite at North Dakota State it's last time out on the road, and I don't see the visitors keeping pace with the home side in what will be a hostile environment. 10* play on LSU Tigers. |
12-11-19 | Arkansas State v. Missouri State OVER 132 | Top | 53-75 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 18 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED TOTAL FOR DECEMBER The Missouri State Bears are coming off an 86-62 win over Mississippi Valley State and three of their last four games have gone over the total. They struggled to defend the perimeter last time out though as their opponent was allowed to go 8-of-17 (47%) from behind the arc. Here they'll face an Arkansas State side that shot 43% from deep last time out and is shooting a respectable 37.1 percent from 3-point land on the season. Additionally, the Red Wolves have scored 70+ points in five of their last seven games. 10* play on OVER. |
12-03-19 | Michigan +5.5 v. Louisville | Top | 43-58 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 15 m | Show |
TOP RATED MICHIGAN @ LOUISVILLE CBB PLAY OF THE DAY The No. 5 Michigan Wolverines and the top-ranked Louisville Cardinals will put undefeated 7-0 records on the line at KFC Yum! Center Tuesday night. The Cardinals are a home favorite, but while they're 5-0 SU at home they're just 1-4 against the spread. The Michigan Wolverines are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games with impressive underdog wins against North Carolina and Gonzaga to claim the Battle 4 Atlantis. Louisville has been favored by double-digits in all games since opening the season as a 6.5-point fav at Miami. I'm not sure it is prepared for the fight Michigan will bring into this game. 10* play on Michigan. |
11-26-19 | Wichita State v. South Carolina UNDER 132.5 | Top | 70-47 | Win | 100 | 9 h 59 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED CANCUN CHALLENGE TOTAL The South Carolina Gamecocks have scored 70+ points in three straight games that all went over the total. I think points will be harder to come by here in their semifinal matchups of the Cancun Challenge as they'll face a Wichita State team that has held back-to-back opponents to fewer than 60 points and has held all five opponents to fewer than 63 points this season. Over/under is 2-8 in South Carolina's last 10 games on a neutral court game where the total is 130 to 134.5 and all but one of the Shockers' five games this season have gone under the total. 10* play on UNDER. |
11-25-19 | Loyola-Chicago -1.5 v. South Florida | Top | 55-66 | Loss | -118 | 5 h 46 m | Show |
EARLY TOP-RATED CAYMAN ISLANDS CLASSIC *TOP PLAY* The Loyola-Chicago Ramblers are coming off back-to-back wins and were 9-for-16 (56.2%) from 3-point range in an 85-62 win over Indiana-Purdue on Wednesday. They've scored 85 points in back-to-back games and I think they'll take care of business here against a South Florida team that had lost two straight including a 17-point loss as a 17-point favorite over Indiana-Purdue, prior to defeating Wofford last time out. The Bulls are averaging only 63.0 ppg and I don't see how they're going to be able to keep up with the Ramblers firepower. 10* play on Loyola-Chicago. |
11-17-19 | Texas-Arlington v. Oregon -16 | Top | 47-67 | Win | 100 | 17 h 22 m | Show |
TOP RATED LATE NIGHT COLLEGE BASKETBALL BAILOUT Oregon is putting its undefeated 3-0 record on the line aginast Texas-Arlington Sunday night, but I don't expect this to be much of a test for the Ducks. They've covered the spread in back-to-back games since coming up just short of the number in their season opener, including a solid 82-74 win over No. 15 Memphis in the Phil Knight Invitational. Here they'll face a Mavericks team that took an 80-73 loss at Nevada last time out in its first road game of the season. Nevada shot just 34.4% from the field in that contest and such shooting won't keep it close here. The Ducks have been money for quite some time dating back to last season, going Ducks are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games overall and 11-0 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. 10* play on Oregon Ducks. |
11-16-19 | Columbia v. Virginia -23.5 | Top | 42-60 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 54 m | Show |
TOP RATED CBB PLAY OF THE DAY *SUPER EARLY* The Columbia Lions are coming off their first win of the season, but they're not expected to stand much of a chance when visiting the undefeated defending national champions Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday. Virginia has played lockdown defense in its first two games of the season, holding Syracuse and James Madison to 34 points each. With Columbia relying heavy on senior guard Mike Smith (21.3 ppg, 5.3 apg) I don't think the Cavs will have any trouble to cage the Lions. Note that Virginia is 2-0 against the spread despite shooting just 39.3% from the field and a woeful 16% from beyond the arc. I expect them to find their range resulting in better shooting here in their second home game of the season, and the visitors should find it extremely tough to keep up in this one. 10* play on Virginia Cavaliers. |
11-15-19 | Gonzaga -6 v. Texas A&M | Top | 79-49 | Win | 100 | 17 h 44 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED SIDE The No. 8 Gonzaga Bulldogs have opened the season with three home triumphs, winning each by 30+ points. They'll hit the road to take on the Texas A&M Aggies for their first away game of the season Friday night, and I think they'll run the home team out of the building. Texas A&M is a perfect 2-0 SU following victories over Louisiana Monroe and Northwestern St., but they've far from impressed and failed to cover the spread in both. Gonzaga on the other hand has covered point spreads of 29+ points in their last two games and I think the Bulldogs will look forward to facing a "tougher" opponent. Bulldogs are 16-6 ATS in their last 22 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. Bulldogs are 20-8-1 ATS in their last 29 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Aggies are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. 10* play on Gonzaga Bulldogs. |
11-09-19 | Massachusetts v. Fairfield +3.5 | Top | 62-60 | Win | 100 | 2 h 27 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NCAAB): MIKE'S TOP RATED SIDE 'MAJOR WAGER ALERT* I like the Fairfield Stags to keep it close and maybe even pull off an outright upset against the Massachusetts Minutemen on Saturday. Fairfield is coming off three straight defeats, but they did cover the spread in a four-point loss against Bucknell last time out. They're 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games, and here they'll face a Massachusetts side that is 5-15-1 ATS in its last 21 road games vs. a team with a losing home record and 4-14 ATS in their last 18 games of a favorite of three points or more. Additionally, note Massachusetts' awful 47.1 shooting percentage from the charity stripe which could become a big issue at the late stages of a close game, I think we have a good case for the home team in this matchup. 10* play on Fairfield. |
04-08-19 | Texas Tech +1.5 v. Virginia | Top | 77-85 | Loss | -103 | 19 h 30 m | Show |
TOP RATED NCAA TOURNEY CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ATS ANNIHILATOR The Texas Tech Red Raiders' elite defense has shut down some of the most explosive offenses in the nation on their way to the NCAA Tournament Championship Game. They held Michigan State to 15-of-47 (31.9%) shooting from the field in their 61-51 triumph in the semifinals, and I like Texas Tech to come through with another upset win here in the final against Virginia. The Cavaliers have not impressed on their way to the final and needed three last-second free throws to beat Auburn 63-62 in the last round. They've covered the spread in only two of their last six games. 10* play on Texas Tech Red Raiders. |
