G Town has really good depth and more importantly the edge here is experience. They return 4 guys who started over 20 games last year and added some key pieces. Villanova is the defending national champions coming into this season with a lot of expectations, but now also a big target on their backs. This team will do great in the Big East again as the conference quite simply isnt what it use to be. For me here tonight Nova is traveling to untested waters as they don't realize how hard it truly is to play @ Purdue. This is a hidden gem as far as home courts are concerned in college basketball. Nova has to replace Ryan Arcidiacono who I thought was the glue to last year's team. He created so many opportunities for everyone and made them better. They do have Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson who are both great players, but they will have to try and take games over themselves which is difficult task especially on the road. Purdue lost AJ Hammons, but return sophomore stud Caleb Swanigan who quite frankly Nova won't have an answer to. Their other twin tower is back as well in Isaac Haas. This is the difference for me here in this game that Purdue will dominate down low and only give Nova one chance which is how you beat these guys. Purdue also has some sneaky good guards themselves and they can shoot as well.

I will gladly take the 6 points here with the Hoosiers who are being very underrated IMO here. Kansas is ranked high and will get a ton of love, but I see some struggles coming out of the gates here as they lost a ton. They lost 6 key contributors including their glue guy in Perry Ellis. I realize they do have stud freshman Josh Jackson but asking him to be the go to guy right away is always difficult. It reminds me a lot of the Wiggins situation. Indiana I am very high on this year they have two big time players in Thomas Bryant and OG Anunoby. This team will defend at a high level and they can shoot it at a high level. Getting this many points is a gift I feel

Michigan St is a good team no doubt but I really question their guard play this early with the do it all guy last year in Denzel Valentine obviously gone. This Wildcats team comes away with the win

NCAAB CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! With both teams blowing out their opponent in the Final Four the Tarheels are getting a little to much respect. I thought this game would be closer to a pick em. Nova is playing the best basketball out of anybody by far in the tournament. The way they play defense will be unlike anything UNC has seen a long the way. I realize UNC has blown some teams out as well, but they are no where near the caliber that Nova has played. Nova easily handled Iowa who was a Top 10 most of the season, then easily beat down Miami another quality team, then beat Kansas by 5 playing a sub par game for them and flat out destroyed Oklahoma. Nova's guards have been the best all tournament and there is no reason why they won't be UNC. Also UNC isn't known for defense as I said the match ups they have had played right into their hands.

FINAL FOUR GAME OF THE YEAR! I love the line we are getting here with Villanova. The Wildcats aren't getting enough respect here as they have simply been unstoppable in the tourney. They beat Iowa by 19, Miami by 23 and Kansas by 5. When you look at the stats vs Kansas though it shows how good the Wildcats are. Kansas shot 46% while Villanova shot 40%, Kansas also out rebounded them, had more assists and made more 3's yet Nova wins by 5. Oklahoma is going to the the public's choice and why this line is low is simply because of Buddy Hield. He is a great player no doubt about it, but he will have his hands full tonight as Nova by far has the best guards in tournament. They play lock down defense and will make Hield earn everything. They won't be getting many open looks like they did vs Oregon who has young guards. OU will have a tough time guarding Nova as well as their guards can really penetrate and dish.

Valparaiso should have been in the tournament and they are making a strong case why throughout the NIT so far. With wins over Florida St St St Mary's and BYU it's really impressive. Their defense has been flawless as Florida St shot the highest % in the last 3 games, but they were only 40% from the field. Let's also take not the George Washington is a school that is right in the heart of Washington DC and many of their kids grow up wanting to play in Madison Square Garden. I can't remember the last time a #1 seed that wasn't in the headlines as they aren't. The Ducks have a ton of guards that will match up well with the Sooners. Oklahoma will get a lot of love because of Buddy Hield, but he will have to work for everything tonight. Both teams shot 49.2% last game and won by 14 however, A&M shot terrible as they were 34% from the field while Duke shot 44%. That is very impressive to win by 14 while the other team is shooting nearly the same percentage as you. Ducks will force tough shots and control the glass again tonight

However, Kentucky was a two man show that game and what the Wildcats lack is what the Tarheels have and will be difficult for the Hooisers stop. UNC inside game and ability to control the glass will be the difference here. Indiana relies heavily on the 3 to get them going but will struggle with the length of UNC. This is a great line here for Gonzaga who to me has been very impressive. They easily be Seton Hall by 16 in the first round and remember Seton Hall was one of the hottest teams coming into the tournament winning the Big East Tourney. Then they absolutely destroyed Utah by 23! Gonzaga also hasn't let their opponent score over 60 yet which is almost impossible in the tournament. They have had a week to prepare for the zone and will handle it easily. Syracuse has really benefited from their draw. They beat Dayton who missed nearly 10 layups that game then played MTSU who pulled off the shocker over Michigan St, but they weren't gonna follow that performance up.

Virginia for whatever reason just doesn't get much respect. They are probably the most balanced team left in the tournament I would argue. Iowa St has played two double digit seeds and I was on them over ALR last game. However, the match ups really favor Virginia here as Niang will struggle with a great defender like Brogdon. Virginia will get you to play their style of ball and I really see that frustrating Iowa St who likes to get out and run. Iowa St isn't a great defensive team either and Virginia has no problem taking to under 10 seconds on the shot clock almsot every possession.

Duke was in dog fight vs Yale despite shooting 11-23 from three while Yale only made 4! Duke also struggles on the glass and inside the paint and that is were Oregon big Boucher will have a field day. Duke will go back to strictly shooting threes and shoot themselves right out of the game. Also Duke is a bad defensive team and with Oregon's good guards they will take advantage of them.

St. Bonaventure isn't getting enough credit here as they have played themselves into the discussion for making the tournament which will give them a ton of motivation here tonight. The Bonnies swept Davidson during the season and see it no different tonight as they are fresh and Davidson is coming off an ugly performance against Saint Louis. Davidson is 1-6 ATS L7 neutral court games. Bonnies are 13-3 ATS L16 neutral court games.

Very surprised at this line with Providence coming off an impressive victory over Butler as 4 point underdogs. Providence can ride the momentum here and give Nova all they can handle as they are down a starter for tonight's game. These two teams split during the regular season and have a hard time seeing a blowout here. Kris Dunn is a superior PG who can keep in check. Providence is 12-2 ATS L14 neutral court games. Nova is 1-4 ATS L5 games following a SU win

We are getting nice value here with St Joe's who I believe is a very scary team come the tournament. St Joe's has slipped up their last two games which is why this line is low. If youdo look back at those games though St Bonaventure shot 63% for the game so they didn't have a chance there and the next game vs Duquesne, St Joe's shot a terrible 34%. I expect them to bounce back here as they have already handled GW easily @ GW winnng by 18

To me this is really good value here as Michigan will be out for revenge. If you remember earlier this season when these two teams met Indiana went on a 23-0 run right before half which is unheard of. I will promise you that Michigan hasn't forgot about that. I also don't trust Indiana, yes I know they won the Big 10 but they played the weakest schedule in the conference. They also rely a ton on 3 point shooting which they are very good @ home. March is when you see the jump shooting teams that have just on so so game get knocked off. I really see this being a tight game all the way through. The underdog is 5-0 ATS L5 meetings
