4-Unit Play: Take 906 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, Over PADRES (7:40pm E, Monday May 24th) Milwaukee: Woodruff. Padres: Snell. Two really good pitchers on the mound today: Blake Snell for the Padres and his 3.79 ERA and Brandon Woodruff and his 1.58 ERA, but it looks like the Brewers are swinging the bats better. Woodruff has been almost unhittable this year, so they won't have to score too many to walk away from the Padres. Grab a cold one and watch the Brewers thump the Padres.

4-Unit Play: Take 907 TAMPA BAY RAYS -1.5, RL, Over Blue Jays (1:07pm E, Monday, May 24th) Rays: Yarbrough. Jays: Stripling. Tampa Bay is riding a 10-game winning streak and the Blue Jays are on a 5-game losing streak. Two teams, at the moment, going in opposite directions. The Rays have Ryan Yarbrough on the mound, with his 4.24 ERA and the Blue Jays counter with Ross Stripling and his 7.20 ERA. The Jays' pitching staff is in disarray and if you watched the game yesterday and saw the way Tampa Bay scored 4 runs in the ninth, to take a 2-run lead, you know why. We like the Rays to feed off that momentum and score early and often today.

4-Unit Play: Take 918 KANSAS CITY ROYALS -1.5, RL, Over DETROIT (4:10pm E, Saturday, May 22nd)

Detroit slid by the Royals last night, but that won't happen tonight. Regardless of ERAs, the Royals have a solid bullpen and, just in case Singer gets in trouble (we don't think he will), he has good backups. The Royals have not hit many home runs this year, but look for that to change today with the wind blowing out to left at over 10 mph.

4-Unit Play: Take 914 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, Over White Sox (1:05pm E, Saturday, May 22nd)

We all know what happened to Garrett Cole in his last outing: the Rangers knocked him out early. Yes, the Texas Rangers beat up on the Yankees and took it out on Cole. That won't happen today. One of the best pitchers in baseball (#2 barely behind Jacob DeGrom) will turn things around - we guarantee you he's been looking for a way to get that taste out of his mouth. He will today and the Yankees will explode with runs.

4-Unit Play: Take 974 LA ANGELS -1.5, RL, OVER OAKLAND A'S (9:38pm E, Friday, May 21st) Oakland's Kaprielian and his 1.80 ERA against the Angels' Quintana and his 8.53 ERA. This looks easy, right? 1.80 against 8.53? No, it's not that easy. The Angels are back to hitting the ball well and they can't wait to bring those hot bats home and show them to their fans. Forget the pitching numbers - this one is going the Angels' way and it's not if, it's how many!

4-Unit Play: Take 957 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5, RL, Over STL CARDINALS (8:15pm E, Friday, May 21st) One of the great rivalries in all of baseball. The 1st place Cards against the 2nd place Cubs. Cubs' pitcher, Hendricks, is making the ball move and dance, like never before and the Cubs would love to take this series and flip things around. That's not going to be easy, but we sure like them winning tonight. Look for the Cubs to come out hot, feeding off yesterday's 5-2 win over the Nationals.

4-Unit Play: Take 953 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER CINCINNATI REDS (7:10pm E, Friday, May 21st) The Brewers are playing much better baseball than the Reds, right now. It's not that they're that much better than the Reds, they're in last place in their division, for criminy - it's just that, with injuries to a few of the Reds' best players and Houser against Hoffman on the mound, we see them dominating this game, if not the series. The Reds and their powerful offense will get going, someday, but the question is when - we sure don't think it'll be tonight.

4-Unit Play: Take 975 HOUSTON ASTROS over Oakland (9:40pm E, Wednesday, May 19th)

The Astros, after leading last night's game, for most of it, let it get away and it got away from us, too. Greinke is just the person Houston needs to shut down Oakland's offense and feel a little better about themselves, tonight. Altuve has a 12 game hitting streak and he'll keep that going tonight against Montas and his 4.93 ERA. Look for Houston to run away from the A's tonight.

4-Unit Play: Take 974 LA ANGELS -1.5, RL, Over INDIANS (8:07pm E, Wednesday, May 19th)

The Angel lost a game they should have won, last night, and they plan to make up for it in a big way tonight. They have one of the best teams in the bigs and one of their best pitchers, Heaney, let Cleveland off the hook last night. Tonight they have Ohtani (probably the player in the MLB) going against Civale. Ohtani is a freak of nature: he throws 100 mph and has 10 homers. The Indians would rather face ANYONE but him. Look for the Angels to put their wings on tonight and ride Ohtani to an easy win!

4-Unit Play: Take 956 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5, RL, Over NATIONALS (7:40pm E, Monday, May 17th)

Lot's of hitters and sluggers on both teams and the wind is blowing in, so we don't expect a 15-10 game, but we do expect enough runs to cover the "Over 8." Two or three throws over to first base, like mentioned above and this game can get out of hand quickly. The wind isn't blowing hard enough to keep sluggers, on both sides, from taking it out of the park.

4-Unit Play: Take 954 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, (7:10pm E, Monday, May 17th)

A week ago, this preview would, most likely be, much different. The Braves hadn't begun lighting up the scoreboard, yet and the Mets were in the middle of a 7 game win streak. The Mets roster, now, looks like the list from a trauma ward and the Braves are showing the energy we've been talking about, most of the year. Taijuan Walker (Mets) has almost a third the ERA of Max Fried, but that's a little deceiving. Look for the Braves to score enough runs to easily carry the Run Line.

4-Unit Play: Take 920 MINNESOTA TWINS -1.5, RL, +170 Over OAKLAND (2:10 pm E, Sunday, May 16th)

Minnesota is finally starting to play like they did the first part of the season. This is a darn good team, folks, and they can flat out hammer the ball. With Maeda on the mound, look for them to look like the slugging team they are, today and win this game going away. They are the third best slugging team in the American League and they'll show it off today for their hometown crowd. It's about time!

4-Unit Play: Take: 953 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, BREWERS (7:10pm E, Saturday, May 15th)

Atlanta is starting to come to life and man, do they have energy. We think as much as any team in baseball. Milwaukee is more of a slugging team and with drizzle and wind blowing in at over 10 mph, we're going to give the nod to the team who'll get the most base hits and who has the most energy and can steal a run, now and then. On the hill, it's the battle of the Andersons, both with ERAs hanging around 3.50. We like the Braves to build off yesterday's victory and run away with this one.

4-Unit Play: Take: 965 LA ANGELS -1.5, RL, Over RED SOX (4:10pm E, Saturday, May 15th)

The Angels look to break a 3-game losing streak in Boston, today. Typically, we might take Boston in this spot, but the wind is blowing out to the Green Monster and there are few better slugging teams in the bigs, than the Angels. Everyone who comes to the plate, looks like they should take it out of the park. Boston is a great slugging team, too. Though the small home ballpark helps a little. Dylan Bundy and Martin Perez (Boston) take the mound, both looking for their first win of the season. We like the Angels to stun Boston, with the wind blowing to left field, in their own ballpark, today.

7-Unit Play: Take 976 TAMPA BAY RAYS -1.5, RL Over NY METS (1:10pm E, Saturday, May 15th)

Rays got a good pitching performance, yesterday, from Glasnow and look to keep the Mets down again, today. Rays are finally beginning to look like the reigning American League Champs. Today NY sends out Drew Smith, who hasn't pitched enough to have a real ERA - we don't see him staying in, long. Compare that to Shane McClanahan's 3.75 and you've all the reasons you need from the pitching side and Rays are a better hitting team and are just now starting to show it. Take the Rays to get the Mets closer to the .500 team, they're more comfortable being.

4-Unit Play: Take 912 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL Over St. Louis Cardinals (10:10pm E, Friday, May 14th) The Cardinals are playing good ball this year, but San Diego, at night, is a tough place to play, the first game of a series, especially after a tough and tiring series with the Brewers. Johan Oviedo and his 4.61 ERA takes the hill against the Padres' Joe Musgrove and his 3.23 Earned Run Average.We like the Padres in a low-scoring affair, due the heavy night air of San Diego.

4-Unit Play: Take 906 COLORADO ROCKIES Over CINCINNATI (8:40pm E, Friday, May 14th) The Rockies are in a rebuilding year, but you wouldn't know it by yesterday's 13-8 whipping of the Reds - and it really wasn't even that close. We like them to take that confidence into today's game. Wade Miley, for the Reds, has looked good this year, but the thin air of Denver makes it an interesting place to play. We don't like the Rockies in a lot of games, but after yesterday, we sure like them today, especially the way they're hitting.

4-Unit Play: Take DETROIT TIGERS -1.5, RL, OVER KC ROYALS (1:10pm E, Thursday, May 13th)

If it didn't fit our System so well, this would be a tough play for us to make, but it does and we succeed because we're true to our System. The Royals are looking to stop a 10-game skid and Lynch, with his astronomical ERA isn't the guy to do it and Turnbull, for Detroit is not the guy to let them. Detroit has had a lousy year, thus far, but when a Tiger smells meat, it attacks. We expect that, today. The Tigers have NO sympathy for the Royals and, if they can beat them by 10, they will. We think they'll win handily.

4-Unit Play: Take 926 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, Over TORONTO (7:20 E, Wednesday, May 12th) The Atlanta Braves have been hit and miss this year, so far. One day the offense shows up, the next it doesn't - and it's a very good offense, when it's clicking. Ryu and his 3.31 ERA is, of course, a really good pitcher and Fried, for the Braves has a very deceiving 8.44 ERA. So, if all you look at is ERAs, you'd take the Blue Jays, but there is so much more to this game: it's in Atlanta; Braves have very few injuries and will light it up today!

4-Unit Play: Take CLEVELAND INDIANS -1.5, RL Over CUBS (1:10pm E, Wednesday, May 12th) We don't get this line. The Indians are a VERY GOOD team, this year and with the Cub's Davies ERA at 6.30, it just doesn't make sense. Sam Hentges is not a lot better at 5.00, but the Indians have a much better offense and should dominate this game, especially at home. Cleveland just barely slid by them yesterday, but we like a lot more runs in this one and an Indian’s victory.

4-Unit Play: Take 970 HOUSTON ASTROS -1.5, RL Over LA ANGELS (8:10pm E, Tuesday, May 11th)

We know, it's hard to go against the Angels when Ohtani's pitching and he's got a darn good bat, too. One of the most fun players to watch in baseball and he's probably the best on the mound and with the bat, since Babe Ruth (good company to be in). But, don't overlook Lance McCullers and the Houston lineup, at home. McCullers is pitching about as well as anyone and Houston is a hard place for visiting pitchers - it can get away from them fast. We like the Astros to start this series off with a big win.

4-Unit Play: Take 976 NY METS -1.5, RL Over BALTIMORE (7:10pm E, Tuesday, May 11th)

Yes, we know what you're thinking: "But Means just threw a no-hitter his last time out - almost a perfect game." We know, we watched it and that's exactly why we're taking Stroman (who's no slouch) and the Mets, at home. If you watch much PGA Tour Golf, you'll notice that when guys shoot 63 on Thursday, they usually follow that up with an even par day (or worse) on Friday. Why? Because Thursday was so easy and EVERYTHING went their way, so they take things for granted and (usually) everything doesn't go so well on Friday. Same thing with a no-hitter. Means will take things for granted and the pitches won't react the same in New York. Baltimore is coming off a big win, which we predicted, yesterday. We expect things to be much different, today.

4-Unit Play: Take 954 WASHINGTON NATIONALS -1.5, RL Over PHILLIES (7:05pm E, Tuesday, May 11th)

We've said this so many times, but the Nationals are loaded, up and down the lineup, with sluggers. Phillies have a few of their own, but it seems like everyone but the pitcher can take it yard for the Nats. Both Chase Anderson and Eric Fedde have ERAs over 5 and we think that favors the team with the most sluggers. Look for Washington, at home, to take game one of this series.

5-Unit Play: Take 901 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, Over PIRATES (6:35 pm E, Monday, May 10th)

Pirates are playing good ball and they were our 7 Unit Play, yesterday, but they don't match up well with the Reds. The Big Red Machine has a stacked offense this year and, though they haven't shown it as much lately, look for it to breakout against the weaker and injured Pirates. The Pirates first base slugger, Moran, is still injured with a groin injury from Saturday's game and Votto, for the Reds is out, as well, so those two even out, but the rest of the Pittsburgh lineup doesn't match up at all and the Reds should roll today, with Jeff Hoffman on the mound and against Mitch Keller's 6.29 ERA.

5-Units: Take 913 TAMPA BAY -1.5, RL, Over OAKLAND (4:07pm E, Saturday, May 8th) Rays' Glasnow has a third of the ERA of Montas, so look for Tampa Bay to jump on the A's early and keep the pedal down. If they can get 6 innings + out of Glasnow, they should be able to cruise home. Rays haven't gotten much respect this year, yet, but we like them getting hot, before the All Star break. It starts right here and this should be a blowout.

5-Unit Play: Take 976 NY YANKEES -1.5 RL Over NATIONALS (7:05pm E, Friday, May 8th)

The Yankees can't feel good losing their last game of the series to the Astros. After the cheating scandal in 2019, they (and their fans) wanted a sweep in the worst way. We think they'll come out steaming, this afternoon and, as well, Manager Aaron Boone is pushing them hard to win the first game of every series - you do that and you'll probably win your division. Nats pitcher, Corbin, doesn't impress us and the Yanks have a great bullpen, just in case Taillon and his 5.24 ERA gets in trouble. Soto is back for the Nats, but we don't think he'll be much of a factor, with the wind blowing in. This should be a pitcher's duel and we'll take Taillon over Corbin.

5u: Take 901 BREWERS -1.5. RL, +150 (1:05pm E, Thursday, May 6th)

We'll take the way Woodruff is pitching over anyone and the Brewers can HIT! Take the Brewers to win this one, easily.

5-Units: Take 955 ATLANTA -1.5, RL, Over NATIONALS Fried doesn't have the record to show it, yet, but he is one damn good pitcher. Fedde is good for the Nationals, too, but just a 5.00 ERA. The two don't belong in the same ballpark and after the Braves' performance, yesterday, look for them to build on it and score, even more, than they did yesterday. This seems almost too easy.

5-Units: Take 980 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, Over WHITE SOX Always hard to go against Dallas Keuchel, but Sonny Gray has been pitching well and after yesterday, the Reds offense has something to prove. Look for them to prove it, in a high scoring game, today!

5-Units: Take 926 OAKLAND -1.5, RL, +160 Over TORONTO (9:40pm, E, Tuesday, May 4th)

Irvin's 3.67 ERA should be a sign that he's better than Kay's 10.80 ERA, but the oddsmakers aren't paying attention. We are. Take the A's at home to beat the Blue Jays, again.

5-Units: Take 924 LA ANGELS -1.5, RL, +165 (9:38pm E, Tuesday, May 4th)

Mclanahan, for Tampa Bay, has a much better ERA, but don't let that fool you. Angels are as good a team and Cobb is a better pitcher. Look for the Angels to take the Rays, tonight.

5-Unit Play: Take 963 INDIANS -1.5, RL, Over ROYALS (8:10pm E, Monday, May 3rd)

Indians are a MUCH better team than they've been showing (yes, they're really that good!). They have no holes in their offense, or defense. Civale, their starting pitcher isn't getting the credit he deserves. Take Indians to go into KC and win this 1st night of the series. If you haven't watched them, do. Every batter, except the pitcher, of course, is scary to the opposing team.

5-Unit Play: Take 952 PHILLIES -1.5, RL (7:05pm E, Monday, May 3rd)

Philadelphia is coming off a heart-breaking Sunday night loss. They will come out ready to play tonight. Valasquez is in "prove myself" mode, as he takes the mound with an over 6 ERA. We expect the Phillies to redeem last night's loss and the Brewers to be worn out after the series with the Dodgers. The Brewers may come out flat and overconfident, which we expect. Let's pick up a big run-line game.

5 Units: Take 914 PHILLIES -1.5, RL, +170 (7:08pm E, Sunday, May 2nd)

New bad blood has been created between these two teams and the Phillies, Eflin, has gotten off to a good start, this year (almost a two run ERA difference, between he and Peterson. Look for a lot of a runs and don't be surprised if there's a bench clearing brawl, once or twice, in this one. This should be fun to watch.

5 Units: Take 927 LA  ANGELS - 1.5, RL, +105 Over Mariners (4:10pm E, Sunday, May 2nd)

The Mariners have surprised a lot of people, this year, but the Angels, with a better pitching matchup and a good mix of hitters and sluggers, should take this one, easily.

5-Units: Take 973 HOUSTON ASTROS -1.5, RL,Over TAMPA BAY (4:10pm, E, Saturday, May 1st)

Yesterday, Houston showed what they're capable of, on both offense and defense, winning 9-2 in Tampa. We think they'll ride that high and have another strong showing, today. Their offensive numbers are about as high as any team's, and one of their stars, Jose Altuve, hasn't started to hit, yet. Houston, after breaking a 3-game road losing streak, yesterday, should outslug the Rays, today.

5-Units: Take 968 MINNESOTA TWINS -1,5, RL,Over KC ROYALS (2:10pm E, Saturday, May 1st)

Royals are a good team and Duffy is a very good pitcher, but the Twins are the 3rd best slugging team in the American League and they've not lived up to their expectations, yet. We think today is another big slugging day, for them. At home, 80 degrees, and wind blowing out to left centerfield. The ball will carry and we're giving a big nod to the home team sluggers.

4-Units: Take 905 MIAMI -1.5, RL Over WASHINGTON (7:05pm E, Friday, April 30th)

Miami's offense has been great and Pablo Lopez, except for the game against the Braves has been really solid. Look for that tonight in Washington and watch the Marlins bats explode!

5-Units: 961 OAKLAND -1.5, RL OVER TAMPA BAY (1:10pm E, Thursday, April 29th)

Oakland felt embarrassed last night and the Rays rubbed it in a bit. The Sluggin' A's will get revenge today with Bassitt on the mound and we think will take Mcclanahan deep 5+ times. Oakland gets their revenge. This is not the same Oakland team we're used to - this is what they wanted the MoneyBall team to be.

5-Units: Take 959 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL (1:05pm E, Thursday, April 29th)

Okay, they Yanks have convinced us that they're back. With the wind blowing out at over 10 mph we expect an explosion of runs from them today. Montgomery had a so-so game, his last game out but he should out-pitch Lopez, easily.

5-Units: Take 901 MIAMI -1.5, RL, OVER MILWAUKEE (1:40pm E, Wednesday, April 28th) Alacantara has really been showing some good stuff and we definitely like the matchup against the Brewers. Look for a low scoring game, but Miami should score most of the runs. Milwaukee will need a brew after this one.

5-Units: Take 920 HOUSTON ASTROS -1.5, RL, Over LA ANGELS (4:10pm E, Saturday, April 24th)

Houston is in dire need of a win and where better than at home? Both starting pitchers have struggled this year, so it'll, most likely, come down to the bullpens. Astros are a much better team than they've been showing. Look for them to get back in orbit, today, with a much needed, big win!

6-Units: Take 969 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, OVER CLEVELAND (7:10pm E, Friday, April 23rd) Yesterday is ALL they Yankees needed to get them kickstarted, this season. You're going to see a different offensive team, now, and with Montgomery on the mound against Allen, look for a streak to begin.

5-Units: Take 906 SF GIANTS -1.5, RL Over MIAMI (9:45 pm E, Thursday, April 22nd)

Both teams are traveling, but SF is traveling home and can't WAIT to avenge yesterday's loss against the Phillies. Miami won yesterday, so won't have quite the urgency and will be a bit tired, so take Sanchez, at home, over Castano to win this one going away.

They've been awful, so far, but look for them to break out tonight and enjoy an easy win, at home, with Kluber on the mound.

4u: Take 904 WASHINGTON NATIONALS -1.5, RL, Over STL CARDINALS (7:05pm E, Tuesday, April 20th)

The Nats were embarrased on their home turf, yesterday. Today, they have Corbin going against Wainwright, a pitcher they have seen a ton of times. If Wainwright is on, he's tough to beat, but lately he hasn't shown the consistency of his youth. Look for Washington to jump on him early and often and have their own night to gloat.

4u: Take 924 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, Over Braves (6:35pm E, Tuesday, April 20th)

The Yankees havea had a hard time hitting, this year, but we expect them to break out against Charlie Morton. Yanks have a great scouting crew and Morton's been around a long time, with the same stuff. Look for him to have a hard time getting through 5 innings, if he can. We like the Yanks big, here.

4-Unit Play: Take 956 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL Over BREWERS (10:10pm E, Monday, April 19th) The Padres are playing excellent ball, right now - they are, simply, one of the toughest MLB teams to beat and especially at home. If there's any scoring done tonight, it'll be by the Padres, as Joe Musgrove (starting pitcher for the Pads) steps on the mound with a .47 ERA (yep, you read it right) AND a no-hitter already under his belt, this year. If you like scoring, there probably won't be a lot of it, but if you like the Padres, tonight, open some wine - it should be a very nice evening.

5-Unit Play: Take 960 KANSAS CITY ROYALS -1.5, RL Over TB RAYS (8:10pm E, Monday, April 19th) The Royals won a low scoring game, yesterday, but left 8 runners on, in the first 3-innings. That is, many times, a killer and one that ends up costing a team the game, but they hung in there for a hard-fought 2-0 win. Now, in to town, comes Tampa Bay, a team that everyone wants to beat, this year. The Royals proved yesterday that they have the guts and patience to beat anyone and will start Danny Duffy with a .75 ERA. If there are runs scored tonight, it'll be by KC, as that's about the best defense, all the way around, that a major league team can put on a field. This game should be a little easier than yesterday's.

4-Unit Play: Take 951 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL Over NATIONALS (7:05pm E, Monday, April 19th) The Cardinals are starting to find their way, as both the offense and solid defense seems to be back. When both of them are back, they're one of the hardest teams to beat in MLB. Add consistent Jack Flaherty to that equation and it makes for a tough night's work. Cards should handle this on, easily.

5-Units: Take 927 HOUSTON ASTROS -1.5, RL, +130 Over Seattle Mariners (4:10pm, E, Sunday, April 18th)

Another game that should be just the opposite of yesterday's. Flexen kept the Astros' bats quiet, as Greinke got the win, 1-0. Houston is too good to keep down two days in a row and with Odorizzi on the mound, look for them to wallop the Mariners, with a big number. We like a Houston blowout, here.

5-Units: Take 906 PHILLIES -1.5, RL Over STL CARDINALS (7:05pm E, Friday April 16th) The Phillies are coming off of two series where they've been swinging very hot bats. They have as good of an offensive squad as they've had in years. On the other hand, the Cardinals are having trouble getting runs across the plate. They will open up, but let's catch them before they do. We see a pretty lopsided game, here.

4-Units: 905 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5 RL Over GIANTS (3:45pm E, Wednesday, April 14th)

Giants have been playing well - actually, a little over their heads. Cincinnati has a REAL ball team, this year and are going to be hard for anyone to beat. They also know Cueto, well, and should knock him out fairly early - something most teams won't be able to do. Look for the Reds to take this one fairly easily.

5-Unit Play: 910 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL Over WASHINGTON (7:45pm E, Monday, April 12th)

The Cardinals were embarrassed, yesterday, as were we for taking them. Their bats are much better than what they showed, and Ponce de Leon let the game get away too early. Look for Gant to keep things in check and give STL a solid victory, which they desperately need. Molina and Arenado are hot - look for a LOT of runs from them, tonight.

6-Unit Play: STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL OVER BREWERS (2:15pm E, Sunday, April 11th)

Brent Anderson just hasn't shown much for Milwaukee and is simply not reliable. On the other hand, Ponce de Leon has been steady. Cardinals were frustrated with yesterday's loss and, like most teams, HATE to lose at home, especially on a Sunday. With Arenado on the squad, now, they have some very potent bats. Look for a big win, today!

5-Unit Play: Take SF GIANTS -1.5 RL over Colorado (4:35pm E, Friday, April 9th) Same as was mentioned above in the first 5 innings. Look for the Giant's Cueto to be dominant and for the Rockies, Gomber to struggle. Bullpens favor the Giants and the Giant's bats are no slouches, either. Cueto should also go MUCH deeper into the game, than Gomber. Look for SF to win this one, going away.

3-Unit Play: Take 903 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5 RL, Over PIRATES (1:35PM E, Thursday, April 8th)

With Arrieta on the mound, the Cubs are just simply hard to beat. With some new names swinging their bats well, Look for Cubs to focus on this Divisional game.

3-Unit Play: Take 959 St. Louis Cardinals -1.5, RL Over MIAMI (4:10, Wednesday, April 7th,

Cards are playing well and their offense is starting to come around. With Flaherty on the mound, look for them to keep the Marlins under water and maybe in deeper water than the Marlins are used to.

3-Unit Play: Take 968 BOSTON RED SOX -1.5, RL Over Tampa Bay. (1:10pm E, Wednesday, April 7th). Boston got off to a tough start, this season, against an Orioles team that wasn't supposed to be much. They're getting back in form, now, and look for Eovaldi to keep the Rays in check.

3-Unit Play: Take 968 CLEVELAND INDIANS -1.5, RL OVER ROYALS (4:10pm E, Monday, APRIL 5th) The Indians are finally starting to light it up and are the offensive team they were expecting to be. Look for them to light up the scoreboard again, today, with Danny Duffy on the mound for K.C. Duffy, who has not proven to be consistent, at all, and the Indians will exploit that inconsistency, today.

3-Unit Play: Take 963 MINNESOTA TWINS -1.5, RL, OVER TIGERS (1:10pm E, Monday, April 5th) The Twins have a really good team, this year, and will exploit Detroit's weaknesses, today. Miguel Cabrera is questionable, which makes it an even steeper uphill battle. Look for the Twins to take this first game of the series in Detroit, easily. Urena, on the mound for Detroit, won't help the Tiger's any.

3-Unit Play: 924 L.A. Angels -1.5, RL Over Chicago White Sox (8:37pm E, Sunday, April 4th)

The Angels bats have begun to heat up and Pujols (especially early in the season, when he's healthy) and Mike Trout against a young Dylan Cease (who has yet to prove anything and is under a LOT of pressure, trying to prove he should be the 4th starter) should provide a lot of runs and look for the Angels to knock Cease out, early!

3-Unit Play: Take 905 St. Louis Cardinals -1.5, RL, Over Cincinnati (1:10pm E, Sunday, April 4th)

The Cardinals are a VERY GOOD offensive team and that should show up today at Great American Smallpark, especially with the wind blowing out to left and against Jeff Hoffman, look for the Cardinals to score early and often.

3-Unit Play: Take 958 Cincinnati Reds -1.5, RL, Over St. Louis (4:10pm E, Saturday, April 3)

Wainwright has been a good pitcher for the Cardinals for a long time. A very LONG time and the Reds have seen him plenty. Look for hot Cinci bats to knock him out early and win this one, going away.

3-Unit Play, Take 928 Seattle Mariners -1.5 RL, Over SF Giants (10:10pm E, Friday, April 2nd)

Baseball is a funny game when it comes to momentum and the Mariners definitely have it on their side after scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 8th, last night, then winning in extra innings. Look for them to ride that wave, for a while.

4-Unit Play, Take 922 LA Angels -1.5 RL, Over Chicago White Sox (9:38pm E, Friday, April 2nd)

Look for Andrew Heaney to get off to a good start this year and this is the right place for him. The White Sox are atrocious against left-handed pitching. Though not impressive in the preseason, look for the Angels to start the season 2-0.

5-Unit Play. Take # LA Dodgers (-1.5 RL ) over Atlanta (9:05 p.m. Friday, October 16)

Just when it seemed like this was the year the Dodgers were going to finally break through and bring another World Series back to Los Angeles, they run into the buzzsaw that is the Atlanta Braves. LA is one game from elimination, but I think they are going to stave off elimination, at least for tonight and get a win. Dustin May has been highly effective this year being mostly used as a starter during the regular season, and he will take the ball for tonight's game. It will be interesting to see how long he will last in tonight's game because he has only pitched 4.2 innings in three postseason appearances allowing just one hit. The Braves will most likely go with an opener and save Max Fried for a potential game 6 and keep him on his regular rest seeing how they have a 3-1 lead. I like the Dodgers in this spot.

10-Unit Play. Take #918 Atlanta (-1.5 RL) over Miami (2:05 p.m. Wednesday, October 7)

The Marlins had an early lead in yesterday's game, but they woke a sleeping giant when they plunked Robert Acuna in the bottom of the third inning that got the Braves going. Ian Anderson will be on the mound for Atlanta and the rookie has been great all season long. Anderson was sharp in his postseason debut allowing just 2 hits while striking out 9 over 6 innings of a 5-0 win against the Reds and I think he will come through again today. Pablo Lopez will be making his postseason debut and he has had mixed results against the Braves in this season and his career as he owns a 2-4 record with a 4.43 ERA across 8 starts. Atlanta is the more talented team and I think they get the win again today to take a 2-0 series lead.

10-Unit Play. Take #910 Atlanta (-1.5 RL) over Miami (2:05 p.m. Tuesday, October 6)

The Marlins have had a great season and its been a nice story, but I think this is where their season comes to an end. The Braves have won the National League East the past three seasons building to this and I think their playoff experience will pay dividends in this game and in the series. Max Fried has been sensational this season going 7-0 with a 2.25 ERA over 11 starts. Fried allowed more than 2 earned runs in just one of his 11 starts and the Braves have won ten out of the eleven starts he has made. Sandy Alcantara will be on the bump for Miami and he has been solid this season going 3-2 with a 3.00 ERA over 7 starts during the regular season. However, he wasn't as sharp in two day starts allowing 9 runs (6 earned) on 11 hits (2 HR) over 10 innings. Atlanta won the season series 6-4 outscoring the Marlins 68-44 and I think they will do just that in this matchup as well.

4-Unit Play. Take #936 Tampa Bay (-1.5, +110) over Tampa Bay (5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29)

The Toronto Blue Jays have to feel like they are ahead of schedule by making the playoffs this season, but I think it will be a short lived experience. The Rays had the best record in the American League and they were great at home this season going 20-9. 2018 Cy Young award winner Blake Snell will be on the mound for Tampa Bay and I think he will be ready to lead his team to victory. Snell was tough when pitching at home this year carrying a 2.57 ERA across 21 innings which was over a run lower as compared to when he pitched on the road. Matt Shoemaker will be pitching game 1 for the Blue Jays and has made one career postseason start which was back in 2014. Shoemaker has battled shoulder injuries this year and brings an ERA of 4.71 against a Rays team that has won nine of their past 11 games. I like the Rays to flex their muscle in game 1.

4-Unit Play. Take #902 San Diego (-1.5 RL) over LA Angels (4:10 p.m. Wednesday, September 23)

San Diego saw the chance to bolster their pitching staff before the trade deadline and they didn't hesitate to trade for Mike Clevinger. Clevinger has delivered so far going 2-1 winning both of his starts at Petco Park and I think he will come through today. Los Angeles doesn't have much room for error if they want to make the playoffs as they are chasing the Astros and Blue Jays for the final two playoff spots in the American League. Jaime Barria will be on the bump for the Angels. Barria has pitched well in his four starts, but I think the Padres bounce back after losing last night's game in what will be their last game in San Diego before the playoffs start.

5-Unit Play. Take #951 Philadelphia (-1.5, +105) over Washington (3:05 p.m. Tuesday, September 22)

There are six teams in the National League that are separated by a game and a half for the final four playoff spots and the Phillies are right in the mix. Philadelphia has to feel good that their ace Aaron Nola is scheduled to pitch against the Nationals in the first game of their double header today. Nola has faced Washington twice this season winning both starts allowing 2 earned runs on 7 hits while striking out 17 batters over 15 innings. Austin Voth is scheduled to square off against Nola and he has had a tough time getting people out this year. Voth has allowed 28 earned runs and 9 home runs over his last seven starts (27.2 innings) making it through 5 innings just once. Philadelphia has won six out of the seven matchups this season against Washington and I think they will add to their win total in this contest.

The Cubs and Pirates both come into tonight's contest on losing streaks, but the Cubs are in first place while the Pirates are in last place in the National League Central. Jon Lester will be on the mound for Chicago and he has been really good when pitching on the road this season. Lester is 2-0 with a 2.30 ERA over 5 starts on the road and his opponents batting average is over 100 points lower than it is at home. JT Brubaker will be on the mound for Pittsburgh and he has had no luck when pitching at home as his ERA is over 7 across 20.1 innings. I like the Cubs to get the win and continue their march towards the playoffs.

3-Unit Play. Take #973 LA Dodgers (-1.5 RL) over Colorado (3:10 p.m. Sunday, September 20)

The Dodgers have clinched a playoff spot and are closing in on winning the NL West for the 8th consecutive season. The Rockies are on the outside looking in right now for the playoffs, and will have to overcome multiple teams to make the playoffs which I think will be a little harder to do after today's game. Antonio Senzatela has surprisingly pitched well at Coors Field this year going 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA over 4 starts, but he has struggled in his two starts against the Dodgers allowing 8 runs on 14 hits (5 home runs) over 10.2 innings. Tony Gosolin has been a pleasant surprise for the Dodgers and has given them another starting pitching option. Gosolin has started 6 games for Los Angeles this season and has allowed more than 1 earned run just once. I like the Dodgers to leave Colorado with another win and finish off the sweep.

The Yankees have beaten the Red Sox ten straight times including all seven matchups this season and I think that will continue tonight. New York has won eight straight games and hit a major league record 6 home runs in three consecutive contests. They will be facing Martin Perez who has been awful at Fenway Park this season going 0-3 with a 5.48 ERA in four starts and his ERA against the Yankees in 6 career starts is 9.85. Jordan Montgomery has allowed 2 earned runs or less in four out of his last five starts and he is 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA over 9.1 innings against Boston this season. Gotta stay with the hot team that has so many guys that can beat you.

4-Unit Play. Take #908 NY Yankees (-1.5, -120) over Toronto (7:05 p.m. Thursday, September 17)

The Yankees had a brutal stretch a couple weeks ago when a bunch of guys were injured and they couldn't get a win. Its no coincidence that guys have returned from the injured list and they are playing great baseball riding a 7 game winning streak. New York has hit 13 home runs in the past two games against Toronto and I think they will bop some more tonight. Chase Anderson is on the mound for the Blue Jays and in his last two starts he has allowed 4 home runs and 10 earned runs over 6.2 innings. Masahiro Tanaka will take the mound for the Yankees tonight and he has allowed 2 earned runs or less in all but one of his eight starts this season. Tanaka's ERA against the Blue Jays is 2.87 across 21 starts and I think he can deliver a similar performance tonight. I think the Yankees complete the sweep tonight.

Things could be a little tense tonight with these two clubs as they are meeting for the first time since the benches cleared back on July 29th. The Dodgers are still bitter about the 2017 World Series the Astros won and I think they are going to win this game. Julio Urias will be on the mound and he has never faced Houston which I think will benefit him. The Astros have been in a bit of a funk lately as they have lost eight of their last nine games as different guys have made stints on the injured list. Framber Valdez hasn't been at his best recently allowing 15 runs over his last three starts and it won't be any easier against the Dodgers lineup. I like LA in this one.

Jose Urena will be making his season debut as he returns from Covid. Urena did not fair well against Atlanta last season losing both starts while allowing 4 home runs and 11 earned runs across 9 innings. I like the Braves to take game 1 of this series in Atlanta.

The Astros showed some rust last night following a couple days off to some unusual circumstances, but I think they will bounce back tonight and get back on track with a win. Christian Javier will be on the mound for Houston and he has been impressive when pitching at Minute Maid Park. Javier is 2-0 with a 1.96 ERA over 18.1 innings while holding opponents to a .119 batting average. This will be the first time Javier has faced Texas which I think is an advantage for him as he is averaging a strikeout per inning so far on the season. Koby Allard will be pitching for the Rangers and Texas has lost his last three starts. Allard has been crushed on the road this season going 0-2 with an 12.91 ERA across three starts. Houston gets it done in this contest.

The Braves starting pitching has been brutal this season outside of Max Fried. Ian Anderson was Atlanta's top pitching prospect and impressed in his debut against the Yankees. Anderson went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run on 1 hit while striking out 6 in a 5-1 win. I think he can have that same kind of success against a Boston lineup that has had its struggles all season. Kyle Hart is the scheduled ?starter? for Boston but he is more of a reliever and will most likely pitch 3-4 innings. Hart hasn't made it through 4 innings in any of his three starts and has gotten rocked in all three, allowing 13 earned runs on 17 hits across 9 innings. I like Atlanta in this one.

It is a surprise to no one that the Dodgers have the best record in baseball with the depth and talent they have on offense, defense, and pitching. Dustin May hasn't allowed more than 2 earned runs in any of his 6 starts, but has failed to pitch deep into games because of high pitch counts. The Rangers have been in a funk losing 10 of their last 11 games and nothing points to them breaking out of that slump tonight with Mike Minor scheduled to pitch tonight. Minor hasn't won a game yet this season and he has allowed at least 4 earned runs in four out of his six starts this season. I think the Dodgers keep it moving forward and get the win in this one.

Minnesota has the best home record in baseball and I think they will add to that with a win tonight. Rich Hill will be returning from the injured list to make his second start of the season and he has had success against the Brewers in the past. Hill will most likely be on a pitch count, but the Twins bullpen will be better equipped than the Brewers bullpen.These teams played 12 innings last night and the Twins used 3 relievers as compared to the 7 the Brewers needed to finish the game. Brett Anderson will be on the mound for Milwaukee and he has failed to make it through 5 innings in any of his three previous starts, all losses for the Brewers. The Twins didn't hit a home run in last nights contest and I think they will take a couple deep in this one. I like Minnesota here.

Take #913 Cleveland (-1.5 RL) over Pittsburgh (7:05 p.m. Tuesday, August 18) Cleveland comes into tonight's game with a lot of confidence after sweeping the Tigers over the weekend and winning eight of their last eleven games. The Indians should like their chances to win facing the Pirates who have the worst record in all of baseball. Pittsburgh is off their usual schedule as they have played just two games in their last eight days because of positive Covid tests from the Cardinals and Reds. It won't help that Pittsburgh will have to face Carlos Carrasco for the Indians who has filthy stuff. J.T. Brubaker will be on the mound for the Pirates making just his second start as Pittsburgh has battled injuries. Cleveland is the better team and has been in a routine so I like their chances of picking up the win in this contest.

The Cubs are off to a great start to their season and I think they are going to keep it going with a win today to complete a sweep of the Pirates. Jon Lester went 3-0 with a 3.16 ERA over 5 starts against Pittsburgh last season and he looked sharp in his season debut. The Pirates have been struggling to score which was to be expected as they are in rebuild mode. Steven Brault will be the opener for Pittsburgh and he has struggled against the Cubs in the past. I like the Cubs to keep to rolling in this one.

Tampa Bay has lost three games in a row but I think with Tyler Glasnow on the mound they are going to pick up the win today. Glasnow has allowed just three earned runs over 18 innings while striking out 20 when facing the Orioles in his career and I think he will have that same type of success. Wade LeBlanc will have the ball for Baltimore and he has an ERA over 5 against Tampa Bay across 3 appearances. Tampa Bay needs a win to keep pace with the Yankees and I think they will do that today.

7-Unit Play. Take #924 Cincinnati (-1.5, -115) over Detroit (5:10 p.m. Saturday, July 25)

Cincinnati made a splash in free agency bringing in three offensive weapons and all of them produced last night. Mike Moustakas, Nick Castellanos, and Shogo Akiyama all had an RBI and combined to go 5-9, with Moustakas providing a 2 run homer. 2019 All Star Luis Castillo will be on the mound for the Reds and he held opponents to a .202 batting average against him last season. Ivan Nova signed a one year deal with the Tigers in the off season and will be on the mound today. Nova won 11 games last year for the White Sox, but he had an ERA over 5 in 20 starts on the road with opponents batting .337 against him. I think the Reds keep it going today behind Castillo and get another win.

Take #904 Houston (-1.5 RL) over Washington (8:05 p.m. Wednesday, October 23) Justin Verlander led the Astros to the 2017 World Series and if Houston is going to win the 2019 World Series he will have to do the same thing which I think he is capable of. This will be Verlander's 30th career postseason start so nerves won't be a factor and I think he will be able to come through and keep the Nationals off balance. Stephen Strasburg will have the ball for the Nats and he has been very good so far this postseason going 3-0 with a 1.64 ERA. Houston's offense didn't come through in Game 1 with the big hit but they are to talented and I think they will take advantage of their opportunities tonight. I like the Astros in this one.

Take #902 Houston (-1.5 RL) over Washington (8:05 p.m. Tuesday, October 22) There will be no lack of starting pitching in this World Series especially in game 1 where Gerrit Cole will square off against Max Scherzer. Scherzer is the one with multiple Cy Young awards but Cole is the one who comes in with a ridiculous winning streak on the line. Cole has not taken a loss in his last 25 starts and over his last eight starts he is 8-0 with a 0.77 ERA with 92 strikeouts over 58 2/3 innings, which includes three dominant performances in the playoffs where he allowed just 1 run over 22.2 innings striking out 32 hitters. Scherzer has been tough in the playoffs in his own right allowing 4 earned runs over 20 innings but the Astros lineup is different that the other ones he has faced and I think Houston will be able to score off him. Dave Martinez hasn't been able to trust his bullpen all postseason and I think that will come into play tonight.

4-Unit Play. Take #952 NY Yankees (-1.5, +105) over Minnesota (5:05 p.m. Saturday, October 5)

The Yankees have owned the Twins during the playoffs and I think they can continue that success tonight. Masahiro Tanaka will be on the mound tonight for New York and he has been solid in five postseason appearances going 3-2 with a 1.50 ERA. Tanaka has pitched well at Yankee Stadium for most of the season going 8-3 with a 3.10 ERA and he has allowed 2 runs or fewer in seven of his last eight home starts with the Bronx Bombers winning seven of those games. Rookie Randy Dobnak will be taking the ball for Minnesota and he hasn't faced the Yankees this season. I think it will be a tall task for Dobnak to make his first postseason appearance in Yankee Stadium against the deep and talented New York lineup. The Yankees have beaten the Twins 11 straight times in the postseason and I think they will make it number 12 tonight.

Houston is the odds on favorite to win the World Series with their fantastic lineup but they will be lead by their starting pitching. Justin Verlander will take the ball in game 1 after going 21-6 with a 2.58 ERA over 34 starts and is a front runner for the Cy Young award along with teammate Gerret Cole. Verlander faced the Rays twice this season and was dominant winning both starts and allowing just 1 earned run over 12.1 innings while striking out 13 hitters. Tyler Glasnow will be on the mound for Tampa Bay and it will be interesting to see how long he lasts because he hasn't made it through 5 innings in any of his 4 starts since returning from the disabled list. I like the Astros to get the win in front of their home crowd today.

3-Unit Play. Take #910 St. Louis (-1.5, +105) over Chicago (NL) (7:15 p.m. Wednesday, September 28)

St. Louis is going to the playoffs but they are still battling with Milwaukee for the National League Central title as the Brewers are just 1 game behind them. Adam Wainwright has been great at home all season going 9-3 with a 2.08 ERA over 15 starts and I think he can come through against a depleted Cubs team. Wainwright has been stellar this month as well going 5-0 with a 1.69 ERA. Chicago has shut down multiple starters such as Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, and Javier Baez due to injuries and I think its going to be hard for them to generate offense. Cole Hamels will have the ball for the Cubs and he has been trending downwards. Hamels is 1-4 with a 6.39 ERA over his last 9 starts and I think he will have his hands full with a Cardinals lineup that needs a win. I like St. Louis at home.

3-Unit Play. Take #965 Tampa Bay (-1.5, -130) over Toronto (7:05 p.m. Thursday, September 27)

Tampa Bay has a two game lead over Cleveland for the final wild card spot and needs just a couple of wins to make it into the postseason. Sending Tyler Glasnow to the mound has proven to be a winning formula and I think it will happen again tonight. Glasnow has been eased back into action allowing 2 earned runs over 8 innings in the three starts since being out since May 10th with a forearm strain. Glasnow has been tremendous when pitching on the road this season going 4-0 with a 0.63 ERA over 28.2 innings and I think he will come through in this matchup. T.J. Zeuch will be making his third start (5th appearance) having allowed at east 2 earned runs in each appearance and only making it into the 5th inning in one of those contests. I think the Rays take another step closer to the playoffs with a win tonight.

Take #906 Atlanta (-1.5 RL) over San Francisco (1:20 p.m. Sunday, September 22) This is the last home game for the Braves during the regular season and I think they want to put on a good show for their home crowd. Dallas Keuchel has been very good, like usual when he has pitched at home, going 4-2 with a 2.72 ERA which is two runs lower than his ERA on the road. Keuchel lost his last start but he had allowed just 4 earned runs over his 6 previous starts, all Braves wins, and I think he will come through for his team today. It has been a struggle for San Francisco starter Logan Webb allowing 14 earned runs over his last 3 starts (12.1 innings), and I don't think he is going to be able to keep the Braves lineup off balance. I like the Braves to keep putting pressure on the Dodgers for the best record in the National League and get the win.

The Red Sox are limping towards the end of the season while the Rays are building for a playoff run. Tampa Bay can not rest on their laurels though as they are still battling with the Athletics and Indians for the two Wild Card spots. Charlie Morton has been producing for Tampa all season especially at home and I think he will come through again tonight. Morton is 7-3 with a 2.74 ERA in 15 starts at home this year and he is 2-0 against the Red Sox in four starts against them this season. Rick Porcello has hit a rough patch late in his season as he 1-2 in his last three starts allowing 14 earned runs (5 home runs) in just 13 innings. I like the Rays to get the job done at home tonight.

2-Unit Play. Take #964 Minnesota (-1.5 RL) over Kansas City (7:40 p.m. Thursday, September 19)

Minnesota is going to need Kyle Gibson to return to form if they are going to make a deep run in the playoffs. Gibson is working his way back from a stomach issue that saw him miss time recently as he will be making his third appearance (second start) since returning. He has fared well against the Royals this season going 2-0 with a 3.26 ERA and holding them to a .194 batting average against over three starts. He should be able to get some run support as Mike Montgomery will be opposing him on the mound and hasn't had much luck on the road this year. Montgomery is 1-5 with a 7.85 ERA on the road this season and he is facing a dangerous lineup that has hit the most home runs in the majors this season. I like the Twins to continue their dominance on the Royals tonight.

10-Unit Play. Take #908 Atlanta (-1.5 RL) over Philadelphia (7:20 p.m. Wednesday, September 18)

The Phillies hold a slight lead in the season series against the Braves with a 9-8 advantage, but I think the Braves will even up the season series tonight. Julio Teheran will be on the mound for Atlanta and he has allowed 2 earned runs or fewer in 11 of his last 14 starts. Teheran hasn't been great against Philadelphia this season, but both of those starts were on the road and he has been better at home this year where he is 6-4 with a 2.89 ERA over 15 starts. Zach Eflin has been downright awful against the Braves this year going 0-3 with a 11.57 ERA in three starts. Atlanta has batted .378 against him hitting 5 home runs in just 9.1 innings and Eflin's defense hasn't helped him as they have allowed 8 unearned runs on top of the 12 earned runs he has yielded. I like Atlanta to get the win in this matchup.

Take #902 Milwaukee (-1.5 RL) over San Diego (7:40 p.m. Monday, September 16) Garrett Richards has a tough task tonight making his first start since July of 2018 against a Brewers team that is playing with a lot of confidence at the moment, despite losing NL MVP candidate Christian Yelich to a broken patella. Milwaukee has won nine of their last ten contests and I think Richards is going to have his hands full with this challenging lineup. Zach Davies will be on the bump for the Brew Crew and he has never lost to the Padres going 3-0 with a 3.58 ERA over 5 starts. The Brewers have won the last three starts that Davies has made and I think they will get the job done at home tonight.

Take #965 Cleveland (-1.5 RL) over LA Angels (10:10 p.m. Monday, September 9) Cleveland is still on the outside of the playoffs looking in as they are 1.5 games outside of the Wild Card race and 5.5 back of the Twins. Sending Shane Bieber to the mound certainly helps their chances of picking up a win. Bieber already beat the Angels this season 6-2 allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits while throwing all 9 innings. He has held opponents to a .185 batting average on the road this while year going 8-4 with a 2.89 ERA and he may not have to face Mike Trout who has missed time recently with a toe injury. Rookie Patrick Sandoval will be on the mound still in search of his first major league win. Sandoval has only lasted 5 innings in his 6 appearances and Los Angeles has lost five out of the six games he has been a part of. I like the Indians to take another step towards the playoffs and get the win here.

4-Unit Play. Take #968 Tampa Bay (-1.5, -130) over Toronto (6:10 p.m. Saturday, September 7)

Tampa Bay sits a top the American League Wild Card lead and I think they will maintain that lead with another win against the Blue Jays tonight. The Rays have beaten Toronto 10 out of the 14 times they have faced each other this season and with the way they have been playing recently I think they get another one tonight. Charlie Morton has been great at home for Tampa this season going 7-3 with a 2.62 ERA over 14 starts and he has an ERA of 2.31 in two starts against Toronto this season. Anthony Kay will be making his major league debut for the Jays tonight as he was acquired from the Mets in the Marcus Stroman deal. Take the Rays in this one

10-Unit Play. Take #974 Houston (-1.5 RL) over Seattle (8:10 p.m. Thursday, September 5)

Wade Miley has been on a serious roll as of late taking his last lost on June 17th while supporting a 2.78 ERA over those 13 starts. Miley has been fantastic when starting at Minute Maid Park this season going 7-1 with a 2.22 ERA over 12 starts and I think he will continue his success against the Mariners. Marco Gonzales will be on the bump for Seattle and he hasn't had much success when facing Houston. Gonzalez has never beaten the Astros in his career and he is 0-2 with a 5.28 ERA across three starts this season. Houston is still battling for the best record in the American League and I think they will help their cause with a win tonight.
