Tigres have won both lifetime meetings and they are in great form right now and NYCFC is definitely not. They struggled against New England and Queretaro, and now they take a huge step up in competition against one of the best sides in Liga MX. Tigres have won five straight and are a real threat to win this tournament. We don't see NYCFC turning things around regarding form in this contest.

Miami is still a decent side without Messi but they are not anything like when he is on the pitch. Columbus showed they are serious about this tournament in their 4-0 win over Kansas City, and they will be ready when they host Inter tonight. They haven't had much success against Miami lately, so this is a great opportunity for the in-form side and we think they will take advantage.

We had Charleston Battery in their last match and they won 5-0 over Indy Eleven. This side is just playing at an elevated level right now and we don't see Memphis slowing them down. The home side has won the last three matchups. Charleston have won three of their last four matchups by multiple goals and have a +7 goal differential in their last two home matches with two clean sheets. This looks like another one-sided affair.

5-Unit Play Leagues Cup Take NYCFC +110 over New England (7:30 p.m. EST, Friday August 9) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time - if game ends in a DRAW we have a LOSER)

New England is just not a good side and they barely squeaked into the knockouts against a very easy schedule that should have seen them win both matches in regulation. They did do that against Mazatlan, but only 1-0, and they played to a 1-1 regulation result against a Nashville side that was in a complete tailspin and had lost seven straight entering that match. NYCFC is not playing its best form at the moment but they have had a pretty tough schedule and some of these poor performances can be accepted as such. But they have won two straight against New England, including their last visit to Gilette Stadium. We think they are a deserving favorite here and there is some nice value on their odds for the much better side in this matchup. In the MLS standings, NYCFC is 15 points ahead of New England in the standings and holds a +30 difference in goal differential. ,

Pumas have been playing some incredible defense lately and they put on a clinic last time against a stronger Monterrey side as they booted the semifinalist from last year our of this tournament early. We think that strong defensive play will continue here tonight and both sides should be playing their best on that side of the ball now that the stakes are higher

3-Unit Play Leagues Cup Take LAFC -1.5 (-115) over Austin (10:30 p.m. EST, Wednesday August 7) (Graded after regulation time -  90min - plus injury time - need LAFC to win by 2-goals)

LAFC have won two of their last three matches by multiple goals. Austin had some surprising results in two group stage matches against top-flight Mexican sides. These wins didn't really reflect the stats from those matches, and they were both at home. We don't think Austin will fare well on the road. LAFC have won three of the last four meetings by multiple goals.

Both sides here will already be in the knockout stage. Many of the top-flight Mexican sides have fallen on their faces but Toluca had one of the best performances from that countries representatives and they look serious about playing well here. With both sides at their best, Toluca wins this one easy.

2-Unit Play Leagues Cup Take NYCFC +265 over Cincinnati (8 p.m. EST, Monday August 5) (Graded after regulation  time - 90min - plus injury time - if game ends in a DRAW we have a LOSER)

Both sides have advances to the knockout stage so that takes a lot of the motivation for the home side to play up to their normal standards. NYCFC is not in top form but this is a solid side and this nice price is too good to pass up since neither side has major motivation here.

7-Unit Play Take Austin +.5 (-105) over San Jose (10:30 p.m. EST, Saturday May 25) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time - need at least a draw here)

San Jose is one of the three worst sides in MLS and they have only 10 points through 14 matches. They have three wins during that stretch. Just don't think they are a legitimate favorite here. Austin isn't the greatest side, but they have taken points in 10 of 14 matches, and all we need is a draw here to cash this ticket. Austin enters off consecutive wins, so they will be confident and will be chasing three points. The Earthquakes come in off consecutive losses and their defense has been shaky to say the least. In fact, they have allowed the most goals of any side in MLS this season. Austin have scored in three straight matches and they notched three goals last time out vs. Kansas City. We think that offensive momentum will carry over here. San Jose hasn't earned more than a draw in five straight meetings.

4-Unit Play EPL Take Luton Town/Chelsea OVER 3 (+105) (Sat, Dec 30 7:30 a.m. EST) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time)

Luton Town has been solid on offense and has scored in six straight matches. They have 11 goals in that span, so almost two per match. Chelsea have five goals in their last three matches. You have to figure that Chelsea will get at least two here by the amount they are favored, and it is unlikely they will hold Luton Town to a clean sheet.

10-Unit Play Women's World Cup Take Japan/Sweden OVER (3:30 a.m. EST, Friday August  11) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time)

These defenses have been stingy, no doubt, as they have both given up only one goal total in four matches. But both of these offenses have been among the best in the tournament, and we don't see the defenses holding up this morning. Sweden especially is in a letdown spot here defensively. They played an almost superhuman match against the Americans and we just don't see them replicating that effort here against a much better offense. Even though they earned a clean sheet against USA, it was mainly the goalkeeper, as the Americans had 22 shots, 11 of which were on goal. We think they will be more aggressive offensively here as they played D a lot against USA. Before failing to score against USA, they had averaged three goals on offense in their previous three Group Stage matches. Japan has been even better as they have averaged more than three goals per match in this tournament. They faced Norway last time out. The Norwegians didn't allow a goal in the Group Stage, but Japan lit them up for three, while allowing their only goal so far. So, we think they will be able to put up multiple goals here on Sweden, who are probably not mentally past their big win over USA, the favorite to win the entire tournament. These teams don't play often, but they have averaged almost three goals per match in four lifetime meetings. We think this one sees three or more goals scored on Friday morning.

4-Unit Play Women's World Cup Take Zambia +1.5 +120 over Japan (3:00 a.m. EST, Fri July 21) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time - if Japan wins by 1-goal we have a WINNER)
Japan has been here before in the bright lights but don't sleep on the women from Zambia. They are coming off a huge upset win over Germany 3-2 and drew against the Swiss and I see them keeping this match close.

7-Unit Play MLS Take Under 3.5 -130 Austin vs Vancouver (10:30 p.m. EST, Wed July 12) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time)

I know both teams have scored and given up goals at will as of late but throwing out a goal total of 3.5 seems off. The last five meetings between these two teams all five would have gone under this goal total line. In April these two teams battled to a 0-0 draw and the last three meetings one of the teams went scoreless in all three games. I do see both teams hitting the back of the net and this game will be a close one but at the end of the night this game stays under the 3.5 goal total.

Sporting Kansas City makes a trip to Shell Energy Stadium to face off the Houston Dynamo and I see home field holding. Houston comes into this home match dropping back-to-back league games but both were on the road. The last two home games the Dynamo have played they have outscored their opponents 8-1 and tonight I see them dominating Sporting KC tonight. Let's also throw in that Sporting KC has dropped eight of their last eleven league road games.

3-Unit Play Liga MX Take Under 2.5 -105 Club Tijuana at Necaxa (11:00 p.m. EST, Thur July 7) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time)

Both teams have struggled as of late and if you like goals this is not your game. Between these two teams the last ten meetings seven of them have stayed under the 2.5 goal total and I see the same results tonight. Let's also throw in that the last three meetings all three of them have ended in a 1-1 draw so tonight take the under and take a stab at the draw.

It’s no fluke Morocco is here and they have advanced this far on the strength of the defense. They won’t be intimidated today. And the way this wacky World Cup has gone, it would be fitting for the Morocco side to advance. The favored Argentina rolled in their matchup against Croatia and we just find it hard to believe that things will be so easy for France. We expect another competitive matchup here and we think the underdog has nice betting value as goals will be hard to come by for both sides but Morocco always has a chance for a penalty or to sneak one through.

7-Unit Play Take Croatia +.5 (+110) over Argentina (2 p.m. EST, Tuesday Dec 13) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time - need at least a draw at the end of regulation)

Croatia deserves to be here and their run to the final four isn’t a fluke. Not much has come easy for the Argentines in this tournament, and we don’t think they are going to roll into the final without a challenge. Croatia isn’t going to light up the scoreboard here, but they can keep Argentina away from scoring. They have allowed only three goals so far in this tournament, and they allowed only one to a better Brazil side. This total is set at only two goals, so that makes the value at getting a half goal on the spread even stronger. We would not be shocked if this one is scoreless at the end of regulation, but even if Argentina scores, we think that Croatia will find a way to get one through to sent it to extra time. We just don’t see any scenario where Argentina runs away with this.

Outstanding value on the over here. Both sides have been excellent offensively here in this World Cup. England have 12 goals in their four matches. France have nine goals in their four matches. Both sides are outstanding defensively, but we think the offenses will shine here on Saturday. We lean to France to win this one and we expect an aggressive attack and a probable early goal that should open the game up wide. Then we think both sides will go all out to score. We think this is a likely 2-1 final but it would not surprise us if this one was even more high scoring than that.

Both sides broke out on the offensive end in their last match, and we think that scoring will carry over here. Argentina has scored in 13 straight international matches. The Netherlands have scored in 15 straight. So there’s very little chance for a clean sheet for either side here. After a poor first match, Argentina have scored twice in each of their last three matches. Those were against some strong defensive sides. Netherlands have five goals in their last two matches, so they have caught the scoring bug. We think the winner here has at least two goals in regulation, and we see both sides scoring at least once, and multiple goals by each side isn’t too far-fetched.

Croatia have allowed only two goals in four matches so far. They are going to have to give it their all defensively if they want to have a chance to advance here. Everyone saw Brazil score four last time out vs. South Korea, but we don’t think they will repeat that kind of performance here. Their two matches before were both 1-0 wins, and that is the kind of result we expect here.

Both sides took 6 points out of the group stage but we think Portugal did it better and we think they are the better side overall. This price is more than fair, and we think this is a mismatch that the favorite will likely win by multiple goals.

England had the draw against USA but they scored nine goals in their other two group stage games. Their offense is playing well. Senegal had five goals in their last two matches. Both teams are playing well on the offensive end and we see both sides getting at least one through. We expect a 2-1 England win, but there could be a chance for more goals than that.

Argentina got a gift for their first knockout stage game as the Socceroos were a surprise to advance this far. This team’s goal was to advance and they are probably just happy to be here. That makes them dangerous, but Argentina has looked better every game. They played one of the best games of any side in the tournament last time out with a dominant match vs. Poland that was way more lopsided than the final indicated as the Polish goalkeeper played hero ball. The Argentines now look primed for a deep run here and they have a great first opponent from which to get another dominant win.

This is a public line in our opinion with squares loading up on USA, but we think their run ends here. They are banged up and had trouble scoring in the group stage. Their group was very top heavy yet the Americans almost missed the knockout stage. Netherlands has the superior talent and experience.

Germany played a lot better in their second match, with a draw vs. Spain after losing to Japan in the first match. We saw with Argentina that a top side can lose their first game and bounce back., and now Germany is facing the worst side in the group with their fate on the line. There could be a scenario where the Germans may need goals for a tiebreaker, so we think they go all out here against a vulnerable side. Costa Rica is probably one of the worst sides in this World Cup despite a win vs. Japan. That followed a 7-0 loss to Spain. This is a side an aggressive German side can beat badly, and we expect them to make the most of their opportunities.

Morocco have not allowed a goal yet in this World Cup and they now have not allowed a goal in six straight matches. Canada have shown they don’t have the offensive firepower to compete in this Tournament. They got their first ever goal early vs. Croatia but had only one other shot on goal in that match. Canada still has a goal in this tournament despite being eliminated: to win a match. We think they will ramp up the defense here and hope to get a lucky one through on the offensive end.

4-Unit Play. Competition: World Cup Qualifier. Take Italy -155 over Switzerland (Friday at 2:45pm) Includes 90  minutes + injury time. For this selection to win, Italy must win or draw.

No time for a lengthy write up as we are traveling. We are coming off a great 4* win yesterday with Chile and we go with Italy here today for a couple of reasons. First, they are the better team and come into this game with just one loss over their last 38 games. That's impressive. They've beaten the Swiss in Euro 2020 and drew 0-0 in the last encounter as they missed a penalty that would have won the game. That was on the road and now they return to Italy for this contest and we see their attack being far to strong for the Swiss to counter.

6-Unit Play. Competition: Serie A. Take Napoli -1.5 (-120) over Bologna (Thursday at 2:45pm) Includes 90 minutes + injury time. For this selection to win, Napoli must win by two or more goals.

As per your selection on Napoli, this is a great spot for them to get back to their winning ways after drawing with Roma just four days ago. They dominated that game but were unable to find the breakthrough, which won't be the case here today. Napoli is stout defensively having only given up 3 goals on the season and Bologna shows very little attacking threat. Napoli's attack should be able to generate plenty of chances against Bologna's leaky defense (19 conceded in 9 games) and we expect Napoli to pull away from Bologna in the game. We see this game being 2-0 or 3-1 in favor of the hosts.

As per your selection on Koln, we believe this is the perfect opportunity for them to stop their losing ways to Hoffenheim. Koln has lost six straight meetings vs Hoffenheim, but as they come into this matchup in great form (unbeaten in five matches and one loss in their last 15 matches), this is the time for them to win this contest. Koln has shown a solid defensive ability this season, conceded just 9 in 7 games, which is a big change from the number of goals they conceded last season. Hoffenheim are suspect on defense, having given up 11 goals and they come into this one in relatively poor form, having just 1 win in their last six matches. I expect Koln to be ready for this contest and to take the game to the hosts.

8-Unit Play. Competition: World Cup Qualifying. Take OVER 2 Goals (-125) - Bolivia vs Paraguay (Thursday at 4pm) Includes 90 minutes + injury time. For this selection to win, there must be three or more goals scored. Two goals is a push.

As per your selection on the OVER 2 goals in this game vs Bolivia/Paraguay, we are on a steller run in soccer and we expect to continue it here today. Both teams come into this game with poor defensive records. Paraguay has conceded 13 goals including at least 1 goal in six of their last seven games. They've only played in one goalless game over their last 11, so there will be at least one goal here tonight. As for Bolivia, well, they've played to the over 2 goals in three of their last four games, and they've given up a whopping 25 goals in the 11 qualifying games so far, while notching 13 goals for. Four of the last 5 H2H meetings have gone OVER the posted total of 2 and we see both teams trading chances and eventually finding the back of the net at least twice. We have this pegged for five goals, so grab your popcorn and enjoy the fireworks.

As per your selection on Colombia, this is a good spot for them to build off their 3-1 win in the last round of qualifying vs Chile. Colombia can in fact score goals and we just don't trust Uruguay to find the back of the net all that often. They continuously go through slumps and we believe Colombia's brand of football will overwhelm the hosts and Colombia can get out of Montevideo with at least a point in the bank.

4-Unit Play. Competition: EPL. Take West Ham -115 over Brentford (Sunday at 9am) Includes 90 minutes + injury time. For this selection to win, West Ham must win the game.

We have no time for a lengthy write up as we are on the road this weekend. These are teams that we've been tracking closely all season long and have made us some good money by backing them in certain spots. CP showed a great performance in their last game only to be pegged back 1-1 at the death through a fluke goal. They will be motivated for this one and Leciester is in mixed form right now, especially away from home. As for West Ham, perhaps no bigger story in the EPL this season than these two teams as West Ham sit seventh and Brentford in ninth. We believe at home, West Ham will dominate this game and their goal-scoring prowess will lead them to a victory that will catapult them into the third spot.

We've been on a stellar run in soccer of late and we have carefully selected five totals that we've run with our stats model numerous times and each time we turn a profit. These games have been carefully selected based on teams, stats, and situational spots. We love every game just as much as the one before it but we are making our top-rated play the Chelsea/Southampton over because the juice is right and we have that hitting at least five goals.

5-Unit Play. Competition: Champions League. Take Lille +0.5 (-115) over Salzburg (Wednesday at 3pm) Includes 90 minutes + injury time. For this selection to win, Lille must win or draw.

As per your selection on Lille, we believe they are the better team in this matchup and come in off two good wins in domestic play which should boost their confidence for this clash with Salzburg. Salzburg has been running riot in the Austrian league, but this is a very big step up in class for them against a team from a top-4 league in Europe. Both teams sit on one point coming into this match and with the way this group is shaping out, a point would be better than no points in this contest and we see this game being played extremely cautiously. Give me the better team with the half-goal cushion.

As per your selection on Crystal Palace here, we've been around the soccer scene long enough to know that records and form mean less than normal when the matchup is a derby of two nearby teams. That's what this is and we believe the home side has what it takes to come away with a very big win here. Look, Brighton has been good to start the season, but are they really the sixth-best team in the EPL this year? I doubt it. They've beaten teams like Burnley, Watford and Brentford. Not exactly tough opposition. CP has played extremely tough competition like Chelsea, Liverpool and West Ham. They also beat Tottenham 3-0. This Crystal Palace team has quality in the lineup and with motivation to beat their close town rivals, and thrust up the standings away from the drop zone, CP should be ready for this contest and we expect a big performance from them.

As per your selection on Juventus, it's time they get their domestic campaign underway with a win as they've been held to just two draws and two losses so far this young season. Juventus should take a little bit of solace in the fact that they played well against Milan only to be pegged back by a late equalizer. Now they go on their travels to Spezia, a team Juventus has outscored 7-1 over the last two Serie A games. Juventus have a fully fit squad to choose for this one and we see them being focused and ready to win this game with a clean sheet as that is of utmost importance to the manager and to the players in defense. We see a 3-0 win here.

As per your selection on Inter Milan to get the win here, don't let the standings fool you into thinking Fiorentina are a good team and they are on the same level as Milan even though they are just one point behind them. Fiorentina has been extremely fortunate to accumulate 9 points in four games and we see that run ending here today. Inter Milan is the best team in the league and has notched 15 goals and conceded just four. There are coming off an easy game vs Bologna which they won 6-1 and they should be rested and ready to get after another three points. This is a great line on the better team.

As per your selection on the over, you have two of the three teams that have conceded the fewest goals on the season facing off, but we believe this game sets up nicely for the OVER with Udinese being a home underdog that packs some punch. Udinese has won twice and draw once for a 7-point start and should be full of confidence. As for Napoli, they are a perfect three wins from three games and have scored two goals in each of their wins. Napoli has beaten Udinese four of the last five meetings and the total has hit at least three in four of those games. Plenty of attacking power and attacking style of football in this one and we see this great price and can't resist. OVER it is.

As per your selection on Real Madrid to grab at least a point here, I believe they are the better team in this matchup and will have the better starting XI on the field. Madrid has been in fine form of late, winning back-to-back games and three of their last four and outscoring the opposition 13-6. They should also have confidence in knowing that they have in fact already beat Inter Milan as recently as last year's Champions League. We think this is a good spot for them and we'll take them win or draw here.

As per your selection on Juventus, it's time they get their campaign on track after sputtering in the domestic league to start the season. They travel here to Malmo in search of a season-boosting win and we believe they get it by a wide margin. Nothing wrong with Malmo as they enter the UCL, but they are clearly the outsiders in the group and Juve should be focused and ready to secure three points.

As per your selection on Canada to get a big win here vs El Salvador, you have to believe they are thrilled with their two points from two games in this qualifying campaign. They fought back from a 1-0 hole against the USA to draw level 1-1. That result doesn't mean anything if they aren't able to get three points here today at home vs a weak El Salvador team. Canada is the far superior team here and they should have the offensive advantage in this one as El Salvador has failed to score in two games so far. Canada needs these three points against weaker teams if they want to make their first World Cup appearance since 1986. Look for a big 3-0 win here for the boys in red.

As per your selection on Ireland +0.5, we like them here in this spot at home to come away with at least a draw. They haven't exactly performed well in this qualifying campaign but at home, this is a good spot for them as they know they need three points here to try and get back in the World Cup promotion race. As for Serbia, well they sit atop group A on goal differential (tied with Portugal). Their last two games they've beaten the lowly ranks of Azerbajain and Luxembourg, so this step up in class against Ireland will be testy. I expect Ireland to give it one last gasp and come away with some points in this one.

Everton was good in their last league game - a 2-2 draw with Leeds - and have since won 2-1 away to Huddersfield. Brighton has won three straight games, but wins against Burnley and Watford don't really mean that Brighton is a team to be feared. Everton is the better team and we are getting a really good line here.

They made quick work of Southampton in the opener and now hit the road for a date against a Leeds side that couldn't stop a house-league team from scoring on them (not Man United, an actual house-league team). Leeds is in shambles and how do they fix the defense in a week after giving up 5 goals? Everton have players that are in form and ready to score goals for fun and while we see this being another high-scoring Leeds affair, we see Leeds succumbing to poor defense and Everton coming away with a point if not three.

As per your selection on Real Salt Lake to come away with a big win for us here, we believe this spot sets up well for them as they are off a good home win against Austin and now get to take on a Houston side that is playing some really poor football. Houston has not won a game since May 22 - a span of 12 games. They have alos played 8 of those games away from home and with today's game being on the road again, we see a little bit of fatigue creeping in and the team falling apart late in the game. Real Salt Lake have kept back-to-back clean-sheets at home and with a win, they could jump up to fifth in the Western Conference. This is a critcial game for RSL and we see them winning this one with ease.

San Jose has shown good form of late, going unbeaten in their last 8 contests and as they are at home - a place they are very good at - we see them taking the game to Minnesota and coming away with a much-needed win to get them back into the playoff picture. They also have revenge in mind having dropped four of the last five games against Minnesota. Brazil has been one of the best teams in the tournament and they can score goals for fun, while Argentina aren't very far behind. Most think this game will be a cagey and tight affair but we see the opposite. Both teams will want to take control of this game early and we see an early goal happening which will open up the game. Look for this game to end at least 2-1 either way.

Colorado is coming off a deflating 3-1 loss to KC and we see that lingering over into their match here today. They are playing all group stage games on home soil and we believe they have a lot to prove in terms of sending belief amongst players, supporters and the critical media. As per your selection on Man City to win this game outright in 90 minutes and lift the Champions League Trophy, they've been the best team in Europe for quite some time now and it all culminates with winning this elusive trophy. Pep and his squad will be ready and will not be taking Chelsea lightly as they've lost the last to meetings to the London side. Normally, this is the kind of game where +175 on Chelsea to lift the Cup is enticing, but Man City are just too good to beat in a winner-take-all match. City will have had plenty of time to rest their starters for this match as they had the PL won three weeks ago, where as Chelsea fought with their starters till the very last minute on the very last matchday of the PL just to get a top-4 spot should they lose this game. Madrid has lost 1-0 to Cadiz and 3-2 to Shakhtar at home in their past two games and now have to travel to the Camp Nou to take on a Barca side that has just two losses over their last 10 matches. They know that this is their best chance at a trophy this season and they are one of the favorites to lift the Cup come the end of the tournament and it all starts with a much important home win against ta Getafe side that has not won a game in six matches with four of those being losses. In fact they only have one win in their last 10 games. Inter with their attacking ability, should be able to take care of a weak Getafe side.

As per your selection on Brentford to win this game against Fulham, we love the way this team plays it's attacking brand of football as they can score goals in a hurry (ask Swansea) and are just never out of any game in which they go behind 1-0. Brentford has a solid record when they go off as the favorites, cashing in a whopping 73.8 percent of the time. As for Fulham, they had their 9-match unbeaten run come to an end with a 2-1 defeat to Cardiff in the second leg of the semi-finals. Wolves need to win here to keep the chasing pack at ba for the final Europa League spot while Everton is just playing out the string. At home, Wolves have just 2 losses over their last 10 games and they've seen an average of 2 goals scored per game. Everton doesn't exactly travel well as they've lost three of their last five away games and those games averaged 3.1 goals per game. There is enough attacking talent on both sides for both teams to score in this one and we expect Wolves to be the better side from start to finish and find a winner and push this game over the number. As per your selection on Arsenal to cover the +1.5 goal line, let's face it, Man City would have preferred if the EPL season was canceled so they could focus all their efforts on the UCL which is set to resume in August. Arsenal is in the same boat, but they at least have a fighting chance of catching the fifth and fourth spots and qualifying for Europe. We've seen it throughout Germany and Spain with the restart, teams are rusty and blowouts are very rare with the exception of the top teams playing the bottom teams. Dusseldorf is terrible defensively having given up 60 goals in 30 games and we expect Dortmund to come out and post at least 3 goals in this matchup. They are still within striking distance of Bayern for the top spot, but they can not afford any more slip-ups. Dortmund is fully fit for the stretch run and we expect them to continue the recent history between these two teams where Dortmund has won three straight H2H meetings while outscoring Dusseldorf 11-4.

As per your selection on Paderborn to come away with at least one point against Bremen, this is a great opportunity for them to build on their recent run of good results which include four draws out of five matches since the restart. Prior to the stoppage, Paderborn was the welcome mat for every team. Since the restart, they've held some decent teams to low scoring draws including seventh place Hoffenheim and second-place Leipzig in their most recent outing. Now they get to take on a fellow relegation team in Werder Bremen who have hit a wall and look destined to drop. Bremen simply cannot score as they've managed 0 goals one their last two games and what's worse, is that they create very few chances to do so. This game looks like a very open and free-flowing game and from what we've seen out of both sides, we believe Paderborn is best suited for that style of play and can put up at least two goals on a terrible Bremen squad. I'm playing Bayern Munich & Bayer Leverkusen to play to a draw (tie) on Saturday. Leverkusen is in a battle with Gladbach right now in the standings and need points, even picking up one in a draw would help. Munich knows the title is all but theirs and could play a more conservative brand of soccer. Leverkusen won in Munich earlier this season (second straight win in the series) and showed they have the speed to match the top team in the league. Munich has crushed the lower ranked teams in the league but games against the current top five teams have been much closer.

As per your selection on Gladbach to get the job done and win all three points, we watched every minute of their latest win and loved what we saw. They play a great attacking style of football and rarely get caught out in defense, as seen by just 35 goals conceded in 29 games. They should have little trouble scoring against Freiburg or keeping them out as they've managed just four goals in their last four games while giving up six. Freiburg is not a side that takes advantage of home-field, having won 6 and lost 6 including three of their last four games. With no ?home crowd? to cheer them on, Gladbach's ability and talent should be able to allow them to play freely and dominate the match from start to finish. Gladbach is without a defeat in 5 straight away games and they've scored first in four of them, meaning an early goal will likely see them rolling to three points.

For this selection to win, there must be three or more goals scored. As per your selection on the over in this matchup, when I think of lack of defense, Frankfurt is the first team that comes to mind. Frankfurt has given up 49 goals this campaign and in their two games out of the restart they've allowed Bayern to net 5 and Gladbach to net 3. You simply don't fix your defensive woes overnight and with them hovering just above the relegation zone, they need to ensure they score goals because it's inevitable that they conceded them. Over their last five losses, Frankfurt has given up more than 2 goals in each of them, with the total hitting an average of 3.6 conceded. They are extremely slow starters as well having given up two first-half goals in each of their last three games. And at home is where the damage is done - averaging a whopping 3.62 goals per game at home while seeing 76% of their games fly over the 2.5 goal mark. Freiburg has played loose on the road, having seen 65% of their away games allow both teams to score, with none of them ending in a 0-0 draw. This game is going to be played at a fast pace and with plenty of scoring chances which will give us a winner on the over 2.5 goals.

We cashed a 7-Unit play last weekend with Wolfsburg but a big chunk of that play was an anti-Augsburg bet. Wolfsburg got us the win but I expect the big step-up in class to be their undoing on Saturday. Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland may be the star of this game but they're a side with massive depth at both ends of the pitch. In fact, Dortmund owns arguably the deepest roster in the league outside of Bayern Munich. Wolfsburg will attempt to slow down Haaland but they'll have plenty more to worry about. Dortmund have produced six straight clean sheets against Wolfsburg, have beaten them four straight times on the road, and own 8 wins, no losses, and 1 draw in the last nine meetings, overall. Dortmund is hot and cannot let off the gas if they wish to catch Bayern Munich. Every game is a virtual must-win despite being one of the top teams in the league. 3-Unit Play. #001 (5Dimes) Competition: German Bundesliga. Take Union Berlin +0.5 (-155) over Hertha Berlin (Friday at 2:30 PM) Includes 90 Minutes + Injury Time. For this selection to win, Union Berlin must win or draw.

As per your selection on Union Berlin to come away with at least one point in this matchup, we believe they are in fact the better team despite trailing Hertha in the standings by one point. Union Berlin can score just as consistently as Hertha, but Union has the ability to keep the goals out of the back of their net, unlike Hertha. This game is going to be decided by one mistake, and we expect Union Berlin to be the one to capitalize on it.

I don't love the line movement in this match - the line went up to -140 over the weekend and has since come back down - but I love the matchup here for Bayer. This team is four points out of the top four (and qualification to the Champions League. They are actually just five points out of third place, and a win in this match would be huge for the Leverkusen side. Werder Bremen, on the other hand, is clearly in the relegation zone. They have been the worst team in the league this year, posting a -28 goal differential (18th out of 18). They are nine-points deep into relegation and their defense has been a wreck. They have allowed 12 goals in their last five matches and have the worst defense in the league. I think that Bayer is going to get at least two goals in this match and I don't think that Bremen is going to be able to do enough to keep up.

Once again: these odds don't reflect the minimal talent difference on the field. FC Koln was in the second division last year! They had been relegated the year prior, so the fact that they are mid-table right now should be taken with a grain of salt. They have a negative goal differential and Mainz actually dominated them in the most recent meeting (back in October). Koln (which may be posted as Cologne in your book) also had three positive coronavirus tests heading into the re-opening. I think that could be a distraction for this group and a major concern. And dealing with real-world issues like that may make it more difficult for them to dominate an alleged weaker team.

This Eintracht team can be tricky. They have actually been better than B.M. over the last two seasons. They are behind them in the standings this year but are a team that I think benefitted from the layoff. Eintracht had lost three of four matches before the break and had been coming off the rails. But this team had some big moments in February - including 4-1 and 5-0 wins - and they can show up here. BM had some momentum back in March, but that has been blunted. I think that the odds on this match are off when you consider that there isn't a major talent gap between the two teams. One had positive momentum and one had negative momentum. But they are both starting from scratch now so I think that increases the chances of an upset.

As per your selection on LAFC, we know that they are the best team in the MLS by far, but this is more of a fade of SJ who come into this game as their third road game in 11 days, having lost both previous games by a score of 2-1. Playing three straight away matches in soccer is tough and with all the travel they've done over the last 11 days, to they are simply going to run out of gas here tonight. Look, LA is on one of those rolls right now where they are scoring at will and winning games. They've won four straight and have scored 2, 4, 2, and 4 in those games. Now they get to take on an SJ squad who has given up 14 goals in four straight losses to LAFC over the last two seasons, and we have the makings of a potential blowout here tonight. We are going to take LAFC on the goal line in this one as we see them racing out to a scoreline of 4-1.

4-Unit Play. #104 (5Dimes) Competition: English Premier League. Take Arsenal -0.5 (-125) over Newcastle (Sunday @ 9:00 am). Includes 90 Minutes + Injury Time

This game is rather quite simple from a betting perspective. Arsenal is the better team. Newcastle will be fighting the relegation fight all year long. Arsenal has one of the best-attacking trios in the EPL while Newcastle lost most of their best-attacking threats. Yes, Arsenal can be prone to defensive errors, but we expect around 75% of possession in Arsenals favor, which will limit the amount of chances Newcastle have to break forward and really threaten the Arsenal net. We expect Arsenal to put in at least 3 here in this spot, and we don't see Newcastle being able to match that.

As per your selection on the above to fixtures, we've spent plenty of time watching the ICC fixtures over the last two weeks or so and we like what we've seen from Inter Milan and Manchester United enough to trust them in these spots this weekend. Look, United is looking good on the field and off the field as well as they are bringing in reinforcements in the likes of Harry Maguire and possibly Paulo Dybala from Juve. United are going to be a solid team this year, and no better way to head into the EPL season than a win over a formidable opponent. The only problem is that AC Milan are has-beens and they are rumored to be shipping out more players before the transfer market closes. This is a team in turmoil internally and we don't see them keeping up with a fitter and fresh team in United.

Inter Milan, on the other hand, have had a good summer so far and while Tottenham has just secured the Audi Cup by beating Bayern on their home soil, we see this game as a bit of a flat spot for them as they rest up for the start of the EPL season. Two different teams coming into this game in different forms and with different motivation is enough for us to take the half-goal cushion and ride Inter Milan as we expect them to get us at least a draw in regulation time.

5-Unit Play. #154 (5Dimes) Competition: MLS. Take Over 2.5 Goals (-120) - New York vs Columbus (Saturday @ 10:00 pm). Includes 90 Minutes + Injury Time.

We are traveling across the country today so no time for a lengthy writeup. We are banking on the fact that NYRB games have seen at least 4 goals scored in six of their last 8 games. We like the fact that Columbus comes into this game in desperate need of a win, so we expect them to try and attack which leaves them vulnerable at the back end. The opening goal has been scored within the first 20 minutes in three of the last four meetings between these two teams and we know Columbus can score as they've seen both teams score in three of their last four fixtures. We see this as a 3-1 type game.

As the Domestic seasons draw closer to kick-off, we are going to hone in on the International Champions Cup to get a good read on these big club teams. This tournament is classified as an exhibition but still serves as a useful platform for new transfers and clubs to prove their fitness and worth. As per your selection on Arsenal +0.5, we love the fact that they've been in the United States for a week and have already played a game vs Colorado. In the game, the veteran players were used sparingly with the youngsters getting the majority of the action and rewarding their coach. Now it's the veterans turn to get into match fitness and get a run in and we like their situation much better than we do Bayern's. Arsenal will feature what will essentially be their starting XI (bar one or two changes), with just Koscielny out of duty. Bayern will be without replacements for Ribery and Robben - both of whom helped the club to another Bundesliga title last season. With this being just the preseason and Bayern's first (un)official game, they will likely just be pleased with a 90-minute kickabout where nobody picks up any knocks and they can rotate the squad throughout the game. Arsenal has the better and deeper squad in the U.S and we believe their match fitness will see them through to at least a draw in this one.

5-Unit Play. #054 (5Dimes) Competition: Champions MLS. Take Los Angeles FC +0.5 (-140) over Houston Dynamo (Friday @ 9:00 pm). Includes 90 Minutes + Injury Time. For this selection to win, LAFC must win or Draw As per your selection on Los Angeles FC, we simply believe that these two teams are even in terms of talent and as such we are going to side with the the team who is better at putting the ball in the back of the net. LAFC have scored a blistering 50 goals through just 19 games this campaign and that's 14 more than the next best team in the west and 11 more than any team in the east. Houston, while unbeaten in 10 at home have been poor defensively as of late and it should be especially concerning to Houston fans that the team has given up 3 to FC Cincinnati, 2 to New England, 2 to San Jose and 4 to Portland. Those teams are not very good and now they have to deal with the best attacking team in the league. LAFC has scored 6, 5, 3, 3, 4, 2 in their last 7 wins and we don't envision a scenario where they don't find the back of the net at least twice. We are grabbing the half goal as a cushion in this spot, but it wouldn't shock us to see LAFC win outright.
