04-01-19 | Brewers -108 v. Reds | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units After a breakout season in 2017, Davies took a step back last season as he battled injuries. The 26-year-old earned a rotation spot with a solid spring - save for one disastrous outing in which he made an ill-fated mechanical tweak to his delivery. Davies is 3-3 with a 3.29 ERA in 10 starts against the Reds. Roark gets a change of scenery after spending his first six major-league seasons in Washington, where he had mixed results. He won 15 games in 2014 and 16 in 2016, posting sub-3.00 ERAs both years, but had his share of struggles the past two seasons. |

03-31-19 | Braves v. Phillies -137 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 34 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Atlanta’s first-round (fifth overall) pick of the 2017 draft, Wright gets his first major-league start after making four relief appearances late last season. The 23-year-old allowed three runs on four hits in six innings out of the bullpen in 2018, walking six and striking out five, and earned Sunday’s start with a strong spring that unraveled in his final two appearances. Wright finished 8-9 with a 3.46 ERA in 27 games between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett last season. Arrieta’s first season in Philadelphia was marked by stark ups and downs, such as a 0.90 ERA in May, a 6.66 ERA in June, a 2.80 ERA in July and a 6.39 ERA in September. The 33-year-old went 1-5 with a 6.35 ERA and 10 homers allowed in 45 1/3 innings across his final nine starts. Arrieta, who posted a 5.79 ERA and 1.36 WHIP across four spring-training starts, went 1-1 with a 4.15 ERA in two starts last season against Atlanta. |
|||||||
03-31-19 | Cubs -123 v. Rangers | 10-11 | Loss | -123 | 5 h 40 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Chicago starter, Hamels enjoyed a career revival after going from the Rangers to the Cubs last season, going 4-3 with a 2.36 ERA in 12 starts for Chicago after the trade. The 35-year-old struggled at home before the trade, posting a 1-7 record and a 6.41 ERA in 10 starts at Globe Life Park. Hamels will face a former team for the first time in his career when he takes on the Rangers for the first time since 2008. While Texas starter, Lynn had success against Chicago early in his career, but he is 0-4 with a 6.40 ERA in his last 10 starts against them. The 31-year-old is 6-7 with a 4.62 ERA in 20 games (19 starts) against the Cubs, but he hasn’t beaten Chicago since 2013. Lynn is making his debut in his new home park. |
|||||||
03-31-19 | Indians -102 v. Twins | 3-9 | Loss | -102 | 3 h 42 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Cleveland starter, Carrasco notched at least 14 victories and 200 strikeouts for the third time in four seasons in 2018, finishing one win short of a personal best while fanning a career-high 231 batters over 192 innings. The 32-year-old Venezuelan enjoyed similar success during spring training, going 3-1 with a 3.79 ERA while registering 22 strikeouts over 19 frames. Nelson Cruz (7-for-22, two homers) and Jorge Polanco (6-for-15) both have fared well versus Carrasco, who went 2-3 with a 3.51 ERA in six starts against the Twins last season. |
|||||||
03-30-19 | Red Sox -155 v. Mariners | 5-6 | Loss | -155 | 9 h 46 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Boston starter Rodriguez saw team go 19-4 in his starts LY, earning $1,387 (6th-best among all starters). Seattle's Mike Leake is 1-3 with a 5.30 ERA vs Boston in six starts (teams are 1-5). |
|||||||
03-29-19 | Cardinals -103 v. Brewers | 9-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Flaherty went 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in four starts against the Brew Crew last season and allowed just two runs while fanning 22 through 12 frames here at Miller Park. Right-hander Freddy Peralta (2018: 6-4, 4.25 ERA) will start for Milwaukee. He lost his lone decision against St. Louis last season while conceding three runs in six innings of a 5-2 defeat on Aug. 17. The Cards' went deep three times in yesterday's contest despite offseason acquisition Paul Goldschmidt going 0-for-3 with three strikeouts |
|||||||
03-28-19 | Indians v. Twins -104 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 3 h 9 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Minnesota right-hander Jose Berrios finished last year with 202 strikeouts through 192 1/3 innings of work. Berrios was 1-0 with a 4.24 ERA and a .197 AVG in three starts against Cleveland last year while fanning 17 through 17 frames. The Twins are 21-6 in Berrios' last 27 home starts and 10-4 in his last 14 starts against divisional foes. Cleveland counters with right-hander Corey Kluber who compiled a 20-7 record and 2.89 ERA in 2018. He was 1-1 with a 4.34 ERA in three starts against Minnesota and served up three homers through his 18 2/3 innings on the mound. The Indians are 1-4 in Kluber's last five road starts. Cleveland lost 10 of its 11 free agents during the off-season and will begin the season with Francisco Lindor, second baseman Jason Kipnis and outfielder Bradley Zimmer on the injured list. Minnesota will also have a different look since last year, but it has added several interesting pieces. This is a good enough price to back the home team. |
|||||||
03-28-19 | Cubs -112 v. Rangers | 12-4 | Win | 100 | 3 h 0 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers begin the season with different sets of expectations when they open the 2019 campaign with a three-game interleague series starting Thursday in Texas. Chicago has won eight of 15 meetings and is visiting Arlington for the first time since 2010. The Cubs return all eight regular starters from a team that ranked fourth in the National League in runs (761) last season, but they’re looking for more consistency and production from the middle of the order. Chicago especially could get a boost from 2017 NL MVP Kris Bryant returning to form after being hampered by a shoulder injury for much of 2018. The Rangers hope first-year manager Chris Woodward can turn around a rebuilding club that went 67-95 and finished last in the American League West a year ago. Texas is in the midst of a youth movement, but the lineup still boasts a veteran presence with Shin-Soo Choo, Elvis Andrus and Asdrubal Cabrera, who was signed to take over at third base following Adrian Beltre’s retirement. Chicago starter, Jon Lester will make his third straight Opening Day start and the eighth of his career as he looks to continue to pitch at a high level. The 35-year-old was 11-2 with a 2.87 ERA in 15 road starts a year ago. |
|||||||
10-28-18 | Red Sox +128 v. Dodgers | 5-1 | Win | 128 | 9 h 50 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Price threw 13 pitches in relief during Friday’s Game 3 and was up in the bullpen Saturday, but manager Alex Cora decided to go with the former Cy Young Award winner and save ace Chris Sale for Game 6 if needed. Price has been outstanding in his last two starts of the postseason, throwing six scoreless innings against Houston to end the American League Championship Series and limiting the Dodgers to two runs and three hits over six frames in Game 2. |
|||||||
10-26-18 | Red Sox +146 v. Dodgers | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 36 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Rick Porcello always gives a solid performance and it shows as the Red Sox have a nice profit with a 24-11 team record in his starts. More importantly, he has the relentless Red Sox offense behind him. This year, they are an incredible 91-40 vs. righties and are excellent on the road as well at 56-30. The Dodgers were OK at home, but with their expectations, they lost a ton of money both at home and vs. righties. They are scoring just 2.9 runs per game in their last seven games with a paltry .564 team OPS. Boston should deal them another blow tonight. |
|||||||
10-20-18 | Dodgers v. Brewers +109 | 5-1 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 1 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Jhoulys Chacin has been excellent in his last three starts, allowing one run in 16 innings with 12 strikeouts. Look for Brewers’ manager Craig Counsell to be on the ball to maximize these two pitchers. The Dodgers have scored only 18 runs in the six games in this series. Walker Buehler hasn’t been as successful with nine runs allowed in his last 12 innings. Milwaukee is an excellent 75-48 vs. righties this year, scoring 4.6 runs per game. |
|||||||
10-08-18 | Red Sox +168 v. Yankees | 16-1 | Win | 168 | 8 h 57 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units In relatively even matchups, it’s hard not to be tempted by the big underdog odds. Nathan Eovaldi may not carry the cache of his former Yankee teammate, but he has been good against the Yankees of late. In his last three starts against them, all in the second half of the season, he held them scoreless for 16 innings with 13 strikeouts and just six hits allowed. Luis Severino has been better of late, but this Red Sox offense was as good as it gets against righties with an 87-39 record and some of the best profits around. |
|||||||
10-08-18 | Dodgers -148 v. Braves | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 5 h 54 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units This pitching matchup is friendly for Dodgers as knocked around Mike Foltynewicz for four runs in two innings with two home runs allowed in Game 1 of this series. Add in his regular season start against the Dodgers and that brings it to eight runs allowed in seven innings with four home runs. Rich Hill has faced the Braves twice in the last two years, allowing just two runs in 13.1 innings. The Braves gave themselves a chance last night, but the ride should end here. |
|||||||
10-07-18 | Dodgers -168 v. Braves | 5-6 | Loss | -168 | 9 h 2 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units LA was at their best against lefties this year with a 40-25 record and have scored over six runs per game in their last seven games. Atlanta was only five games over .500 at home this year which is not super impressive and Sean Newcomb’s 5.12 ERA here doesn’t make me feel more confident. Walker Buehler was outstanding in his first playoff start when he allowed no runs and just one hit against the Rockies and he will be fired up to get another win here. |
|||||||
10-07-18 | Brewers +150 v. Rockies | 6-0 | Win | 150 | 5 h 29 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Brewers were massively profitable against righties and on the road, so getting them at a nice underdog price with a chance to end this series has to pique my interest. German Marquez is having an incredible year, but Milwaukee beat Colorado in his two starts against them back in August and May, scoring seven runs in 11.2 innings with 20 base runners allowed. The Rockies have been flying all around the country and at some point that has to catch up to you. They haven’t scored much with just four runs total in their last three games. |
|||||||
10-06-18 | Indians v. Astros -155 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Carrasco faced the Astros twice this season, allowing eight earned runs in 13.1 innings of work. While he did win one of those starts, how much credit can we give for a win with five earned runs in 5.2 innings? Gerrit Cole pitched in that series, getting a no-decision with three earned runs in seven innings. Houston won Cole’s last three starts heading into the postseason with Cole allowing six total runs in 18 innings with an impressive 25 strikeouts |
|||||||
10-05-18 | Braves +210 v. Dodgers | 0-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 5 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units It’s tough to go against Clayton Kershaw, but the odds are steep on a pitcher who has allowed eight runs in his last 11 innings, as great as he is. Last night didn’t go well for the Braves, but they are still a quality road team and are better than they showed. Anibal Sanchez was huge for them this year and is a big reason why they are in this series to begin with. The Dodgers may be great against 4-seam fastballs, but Sanchez lives on his cutter so he has a good chance of frustrating them and giving his offense a chance. |
|||||||
10-05-18 | Rockies v. Brewers -156 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 3 h 47 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Jhoulys Chacin got the job done a few days ago against the Cubs in their game 163. While he may not be asked to go deep today, the quality of his pitching will be good. Tyler Anderson had a nice season, but he had a 5.02 ERA on the road and has allowed 12 runs in his last 9.2 innings in this park against the Brewers, with one of those starts coming in August. The Rockies aren’t hitting much right now, with two runs scored in four of their last five games. |
|||||||
10-05-18 | Indians v. Astros -151 | 2-7 | Win | 100 | 1 h 40 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Astros did lose a ton of money at home this year as befitting a team with ultra-high expectations, but their performance vs. righties was a big deal too and they finished 30 games over .500 in that situation. There is no doubt that Corey Kluber is as good as it gets, but this Cleveland team had a huge benefit of being in the worst division in baseball. They actually had a losing record in games against non-AL Central teams. Houston had the best run differential in baseball at +263, way better than even the Red Sox. Justin Verlander ended the season on a high note, allowing one earned run in his last 19 innings with 32 strikeouts and just two walks. |
|||||||
09-30-18 | Diamondbacks -122 v. Padres | 3-4 | Loss | -122 | 4 h 21 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units San Diego has been terrible at home and vs. lefties this year with records of 29-49 and 18-37, respectively, and they face a pitcher who has beaten them three times this year. Robbie Ray has held them to seven runs in 15 innings with 20 strikeouts and eight hits allowed. Ray has been at his best on the road with a 2.95 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 55 innings leading to a 7-4 team record. His opponent, Joey Lucchesi, hasn’t fared so well. The young lefty has lost all five of his starts against the Diamondbacks, giving up 18 runs in 23.2 innings on 38 base runners allowed. The D-Backs have won 12 of 18 contests against San Diego this year. |
|||||||
09-16-18 | Dodgers -141 v. Cardinals | 0-5 | Loss | -141 | 9 h 55 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Wainwright will be making his second start since spending nearly four months on the DL with an elbow injury. The 37-year-old was not especially sharp in his five-inning stint against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday, giving up four runs and seven hits, including a pair of home runs. Wainwright is 5-5 with a 2.69 ERA versus Los Angeles but is 0-2 with a 5.74 ERA in three starts at home this year. |
|||||||
09-16-18 | Rockies v. Giants +109 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 47 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Rockies starter Senzatela is 4-6 with a 5.01 ERA. He’s been more “miss” than “hit” this year and note that he’s been pretty terrible on the road by going 1-4 with a 4.92 ERA to this point. While San Francisco starter, Rodriguez is 6-3 with a 2.35 ERA. He comes in off a strong start against the Braves and overall the rookie has been fantastic this year (especially at home where he’s 4-2 with a 2.12 ERA.) |
|||||||
09-16-18 | Nationals v. Braves -132 | 6-4 | Loss | -132 | 2 h 10 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Roark has endured a miserable season, leading the NL in losses and hits allowed (176) two seasons after going 16-10 with a 2.83 ERA. The 31-year-old went 3-2 with a 2.78 ERA in six starts during August but has struggled in two September outings, giving up 11 runs on 20 hits in 9 2/3 innings. Roark is 1-2 in three appearances against the Braves this season, allowing 13 hits in 14 innings with six walks, and giving up a walkoff homer in a June 3 relief appearance. |
|||||||
09-14-18 | Twins -127 v. Royals | 4-8 | Loss | -127 | 9 h 29 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Berrios' winless streak reached six starts as he lost his third straight outing Saturday despite allowing just one run and three hits in six innings against Kansas City. The setback dropped the 24-year-old Puerto Rican to 2-1 with a 1.80 ERA in three turns versus the Royals this season and 2-2 with a 4.53 mark in eight career starts. Berrios has not won since defeating Kansas City at home on Aug. 4, when he gave up two runs and five hits over seven frames. |
|||||||
09-14-18 | Nationals -142 v. Braves | 5-10 | Loss | -142 | 9 h 52 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Scherzer is a leading contender to win his third consecutive NL Cy Young Award and with good reason, leading the league in wins, strikeouts (271), WHIP (0.88) and hits per nine innings (5.9). The 34-year-old is 5-1 with a 2.12 ERA in 10 starts since the All-Star break, and while he has allowed three earned runs in each of his past three starts, he has struck out 11 hitters in each of his past two outings. Scherzer is 2-1 in four starts against the Braves this season, posting a 1.67 ERA with 30 strikeouts. |
|||||||
09-12-18 | Braves -112 v. Giants | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 21 h 46 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Braves are 25-12 in their last 37 during game 3 of a series, 35-17 in their last 52 vs. a team with a losing record, and 5-2 in Sanchezs last 7 road starts. |
|||||||
09-12-18 | Pirates -104 v. Cardinals | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 18 h 20 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Pirates are 11-5 in their last 16 Wednesday games, 5-1 in Taillons last 6 road starts vs. a team with a winning record, 8-2 in Taillons last 10 road starts, and 14-5 in Taillons last 19 starts during game 3 of a series. |
|||||||
09-12-18 | Dodgers -175 v. Reds | 8-1 | Win | 100 | 18 h 44 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Dodgers are 23-7 in their last 30 during game 3 of a series, 21-8 in their last 29 vs. a team with a losing record, 5-2 in their last 7 road games, 5-2 in their last 7 games vs. a right-handed starter, and 11-5 in their last 16 overall. |
|||||||
09-10-18 | Diamondbacks v. Rockies -135 | 2-13 | Win | 100 | 25 h 53 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Rockies are 14-5 in their last 19 home games vs. a team with a winning road record, 21-8 in their last 29 vs. National League West, 18-7 in their last 25 games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30, 23-9 in their last 32 home games, and 18-8 in their last 26 home games vs. a team with a winning record. |
|||||||
09-10-18 | Yankees -150 v. Twins | 7-2 | Win | 100 | 24 h 17 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Yankees are 11-3 in their last 14 road games, 10-3 in their last 13 road games vs. a right-handed starter, 17-6 in their last 23 games vs. a right-handed starter, 25-9 in their last 34 vs. American League Central, and 20-8 in their last 28 vs. a team with a losing record. |
|||||||
09-10-18 | Astros -290 v. Tigers | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 22 h 19 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Astros are 22-6 in their last 28 road games vs. a left-handed starter, 45-17 in their last 62 road games, 46-19 in their last 65 vs. a team with a losing record, 35-17 in their last 52 vs. American League Central, 37-18 in their last 55 games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30, and 53-26 in their last 79 road games vs. a team with a losing record.. |
|||||||
09-09-18 | Astros v. Red Sox -106 | 5-6 | Win | 100 | 9 h 51 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Since allowing 23 runs during a rocky five-start stretch, Keuchel is 8-2 with a 2.57 ERA over his last 15 outings dating to June 16. He posted his third consecutive quality start versus Minnesota last time out, limiting the Twins to one run (zero earned) and five hits over six innings. Ian Kinsler is 10-for-33 with a homer against Keuchel, who is 0-1 with a 9.88 ERA in three appearances (two starts) versus Boston. |
|||||||
09-09-18 | Phillies v. Mets -165 | 4-6 | Win | 100 | 2 h 22 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Mets have gone 12-16 in DeGrom's 28 starts w/ his own personal record being 8-8. But his ERA is 1.68 and his WHIP is 0.963. Those numbers rank 1st and 3rd in the NL respectively. DeGrom has allowed more than 3 ER in only 1 of those 28 starts. That was back in April. That means he enters Sunday on a 25-start streak of allowing 3 ER or less. He went at least six innings in all but two of those 25 starts. |
|||||||
09-08-18 | Braves v. Diamondbacks -140 | 5-4 | Loss | -140 | 29 h 5 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Teheran is so far 9-7 with a 4.05 ERA. He comes in off a sub-par outing against the Rays on Wednesday, but overall the veteran has been solid this season. Note though that he does come in sporting a rather pedestrian 5-5, 4.56 ERA record on the road. Arizona starter, Buchholz is so far 7-2 with a 2.05 ERA. He most recently gave up one run off four hits while striking out four over five innings in a no-decision to the Dodgers on Sunday. That’s now four straight outings in which Buchholz has allowed one or fewer earned runs. In addition, Buchholz has been awesome at home this season as well by posting the sparkling 3-0, 2.53 ERA record to this point. |
|||||||
09-08-18 | Royals v. Twins -196 | 4-1 | Loss | -196 | 7 h 11 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Berrios remains three victories away from matching the career high of 14 he set last season as his winless streak reached five starts last Saturday, when he was tagged for five runs on three hits - all homers - and three walks in four innings at Texas. The last triumph by the 24-year-old, who also hails from Puerto Rico, came at home against Kansas City on Aug. 4 as he allowed just two runs and five hits over seven frames. That win was the second in as many turns versus the Royals this season and improved him to 2-1 with a 4.99 ERA in seven career starts against the club. |
|||||||
09-08-18 | Cubs v. Nationals -183 | 3-10 | Win | 100 | 3 h 9 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Scherzer is only 1-1 over his last six starts despite posting a 2.08 ERA and striking out 50 over 39 frames, including Monday's no-decision versus St. Louis in which he allowed three runs and fanned 11 across seven innings. The three-time Cy Young Award winner, who leads the majors in strikeouts (260) and innings pitched (193 2/3), paces the NL in wins and WHIP (0.88). Bryant is 1-for-10 with seven strikeouts against Scherzer, who fanned 11 in seven scoreless frames on Aug. 12 versus the Cubs. |
|||||||
09-07-18 | Braves v. Diamondbacks -164 | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 6 h 26 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Corbin is 0-1 over his last three starts despite allowing just four runs and 12 hits while recording 24 strikeouts in 18 innings during the stretch. The 29-year-old is 6-3 with a 3.25 ERA and 0.98 WHIP in 14 home starts. Corbin is 4-1 with a 1.69 ERA in eight career appearances (six starts) against the Braves. |
|||||||
09-07-18 | Phillies -153 v. Mets | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 8 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Nola suffered his first loss since July 14 on Sunday after allowing four runs for just the third time this season in an 8-1 setback versus the Chicago Cubs. The 25-year-old struck out 11 in that contest, the same number he fanned over seven innings in a 4-2 win on Aug. 17 as he improved to 3-0 with a 1.44 ERA in four starts against the Mets in 2018. Kapler shuffled the pitching rotation to move up Nola, who is in line to face the first-place Braves on two occasions later this month. New York starter, Matz saw his winless stretch extend to five outings on Saturday despite striking out a career-high 11 batters against San Francisco. The 27-year-old, who yielded one run over seven innings for the second straight trip to the mound, has struggled in a pair of outings versus Philadelphia this season -- posting an 0-1 mark after surrendering seven runs on 10 hits in seven frames. |
|||||||
09-07-18 | Astros -105 v. Red Sox | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 2 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Cole stumbled out of the All-Star break by going 0-3 in his first four starts, but he has bounced back by permitting nine earned runs over his last four outings and posting a 3-0 mark in that span. He won his second straight start Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels, striking out nine and giving up two runs over 5 2/3 innings. Cole beat Boston with seven innings of three-run ball on June 1. |
|||||||
09-04-18 | Mets v. Dodgers -197 | 4-11 | Win | 100 | 27 h 52 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Dodgers are 77-29 in their last 106 home games vs. a team with a losing record, 63-27 in their last 90 home games vs. a team with a losing road record, 37-16 in their last 53 home games vs. a left-handed starter, 60-28 in their last 88 vs. National League East, 66-31 in their last 97 games vs. a left-handed starter, and 85-40 in their last 125 vs. a team with a losing record. |
|||||||
09-04-18 | Giants v. Rockies -159 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 25 h 21 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Playing against a team (SAN FRANCISCO) that is a poor NL hitting team (AVG =4.50), with an on base percentage of .300 or worse over their last 15 games is 204-173 over the last 5 seasons. 54.1% (28.4 units) |

09-03-18 | Tigers v. White Sox -120 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 3 h 45 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Chicago White Sox are coming off an 8-0 win over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday. They have won seven of 10, 13 of 19 and 18 of 30 and I like the price on another White Sox win here Monday afternoon with Reynaldo Lopez (5-9, 4.51 ERA) on the mound. The 24 year old right-hander limited the Yankees to one run and five hits in seven innings his last time out and the White Sox have won each of his last three starts. The Tigers hand the ball to Michael Fulmer (3-10, 4.71 ERA) who is 0-5 with a 5.90 ERA in his past seven starts and 2-4 with a 6.06 ERA in 10 starts on the road this season. |

Rating: 2 Units Teheran has not lost in his past six starts, going 2-0 with a 3.47 ERA and a .179 opponents batting average while striking out 33 in 36 1/3 innings. The 27-year-old gave up four runs Tuesday against Tampa Bay, the most he’s allowed since surrendering seven on July 24, but for the second consecutive outing walked just one hitter. Teheran beat the Pirates on Aug. 22 in Pittsburgh, giving up one run on two hits with five strikeouts over seven innings. |

Rating: 2 Units Rodriguez returns after spending almost seven weeks on the DL with an ankle injury to make his 20th start of the season - the fourth straight season with at least that many. The 25-year-old Venezuelan did not give up a run in his previous three starts in July, allowing 10 hits and four walks combined over 17 innings. Nicky Delmonico is 1-for-3 with two RBIs versus Rodriguez, who is 0-0 with a 3.75 ERA in two career starts against the White Sox. |

08-26-18 | Mariners v. Diamondbacks -162 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 5 h 36 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Greinke has allowed more than three earned runs in just one of his last 12 starts. That one time came in an American League ballpark. For the record, the Diamonbacks did win the last time Grienke took the hill, beating San Diego by a score of 4-3. Greinke gave up just five hits in six innings in that one. Greinke has a 0.979 WHIP here at home. He's seventh in the NL in ERA (3.06) and fifth in strikeouts with 165. |

08-26-18 | Phillies -110 v. Blue Jays | 8-3 | Win | 100 | 1 h 24 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Velasquez should be well-rested -- he's failed to pitch beyond four innings in each of his last three starts, although a lengthy rain delay limited him to four innings of one-run ball at Washington on Tuesday. The current three-start drought preceded a superb stretch in which he was 3-0 with two runs and 12 hits permitted in his previous four starts. Morales is 2-for-6 with a home run against Velasquez. Estrada hasn't been especially sharp but he won his last two starts against Baltimore and Kansas City -- the two worst teams in the majors -- despite giving up seven runs and 13 hits in 12 innings. He has struggled with the long ball over his last three outings, surrendering five homers. Carlos Santana is 4-for-7 with a home run off Estrada, who is 3-5 with a 4.91 ERA in 11 starts at home. |

08-25-18 | Mariners v. Diamondbacks -156 | 4-3 | Loss | -156 | 8 h 25 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units LeBlanc is so far 7-3 with a 4.04 ERA. He’s been scuffling over the last two weeks though and while he’s a very respectable 6-2 with a 3.55 ERA at home, note that LeBlanc is a very pedestrian 1-1 with a 4.43 ERA on the road. Ray is so far 3-2 with a 4.91 ERA. He comes in off back-to-back decent outings and while he’s been better on the road that at home this season, I think the veteran will step up here in this favorable match-up and continue to build upon his recent form. Arizona is 6-2 in its last eight night home games in which its a favorite in the -125 to -160 range. |

08-25-18 | A's -146 v. Twins | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The A's continue to march to a probable playoff berth in the American League. After dropping the series opener here in Minnesota on Thursday, they beat the Twins rather easily last night, winning by a score of 7-1. It should be even easier tonight going up against a beleaguered starter like Stephen Gonsalves, who in his big league debut last week gave up four runs in just an inning and a third (threw 55 pitches). The A's counter with Michael Fiers, who has been perfect since coming over from Detroit. He's 2-0 with a 1.47 ERA in his three starts (0.655 WHIP) and should easily mow down this Twins lineup. |

08-25-18 | White Sox v. Tigers +107 | 6-1 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 31 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The White Sox have won three of the last four meetings between these Central division rivals but the Tigers were able to win nine of 10 contests to begin the season series. Giolito has a 6.88 ERA in three starts against Detroit this season |

08-25-18 | Phillies -118 v. Blue Jays | 6-8 | Loss | -118 | 5 h 30 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Nick Pivetta (7-10, 4.66 ERA) will take the ball for Philly. The right-hander held the Blue Jays to two runs, four hits and two walks while striking out seven in five innings back in May, and he owns a solid 3.31 ERA in day games on the season. Toronto turns to right-hander Aaron Sanchez (3-5, 4.52 ERA) who has missed more than two months due a finger injury. Sanchez has really struggled in his three rehab starts, posting a 6.55 ERA and 11/10 K/BB ratio over 11 innings of work. Blue Jays are 2-6 in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning record. |
