11-30-20 | Seahawks -6 v. Eagles | Top | 23-17 | Push | 0 | 21 h 40 m | Show |
If the Playoffs started today the Seahawks would be in and the Eagles out. Philly is only 3-6-1 on the season, but because the NFC East is so bad, they still have a chance. The Giants won today and took over the division lead, but there are still some games left and anything can happen in that crazy division. Seattle coming off a big win over NFC West foe Arizona last week, 28-21. Russell Wilson played a great game, going 23 of 28 with no turnovers. Philly has lost two in a row and now trails both Washington and the Giants in the crazy NFC East. The fans are calling for Jalen Hurts to takeover at QB and that might happen if they lose here tonight. Seattle has the league's third ranked offense and 2nd passing attack. Philly ranks 27th as they are 27th running and 22nd passing. Philly does hold the edge on defense, as they rank 10th overall compared to the Seahawks 32nd ranked defense. Don't see the Eagles offense being able to keep up with Seattle's here on Monday. I'll lay the price on the road with Wilson and the Seahawks. |

11-30-20 | St. John's v. Boston College | 97-93 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 44 m | Show
St Johns Red Storm have opened the season 2-0 S/U and 1-1 ATS. They opened with a win over St Peters, 76-75, though they barely covered as a 11-point favorite. Then they rebounded with a nice win over Lasalle, 82-65. Boston College is 1-1 S/U and 2-0 ATS. The Eagles opened with a loss to top 10 Villanova, 67-76 and then beat a very good Rhode Island team, 69-64. St John's returned four starters to a team that was 17-15 last year and 5-13 in the Big East. Last year was a transition year and the record showed that. They still have a long way to go to be a factor in the Big East, but they have the building blocks to do so. BC returns three starters to a 13-19 team from last year. The Eagles lost in the 2nd round of the ACC tournament last season. Even though BC lost starters to graduation, they returned enough talent to actually make them better this year. That has showed as they played two very good teams and were in both games and in fact covered both. This is the game they get to win here today against an inferior St Johns squad. |

11-29-20 | Bears v. Packers UNDER 44.5 | 25-41 | Loss | -118 | 22 h 37 m | Show
The Chicago Bears came up short at Minnesota two weeks ago, losing 13-19. The Bears offense was anemic, totaling just 149 yards. Still, their defense kept them close. The defense ranks 8th overall and 9th vs the pass. They will be tested here today against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. The Packers have the 7th overall offense and 6th via the pass. The Packers lost a close one last week in Indianapolis, 31-34. Rodgers had 280 yards passing and was intercepted once by the Colts. Surprisingly, the Packers have gone under in four of their last seven games. Both these games went under last year, with the packers winning 21-13 and 10-3. The Bears know they can't get into a scoring match here with the Packers. They will have to rely on take away and keep the ball more on offense while hoping their defense can keep Rodgers off balance. Take the UNDER. |

11-29-20 | Rhode Island -1 v. San Francisco | 84-71 | Win | 100 | 7 h 35 m | Show
Rhode Island got their first win of the season after a pair of losses. I had RI on Saturday and was big on how good this team really is and that they were primed for a win and they go the blow out win for me. Rhode Island finished last year at 21-9 overall and 13-5 in the Atlantic 10 (3rd place). The club returns two starters to this year's team. This team has a lot of talent and will be deep on their bench. They also have an excellent backcourt and will pressure in a lot of man-to-man situations. San Francisco Dons are 2-1 S/U and ATS after three games. They beat Virginia on Friday, 61-60 as a 15-point dog. They also got beat in their opener by UMass-Lowell, 68-76 as a 14-point favorite. I still like this Rhode Island team a lot and look for them to continue their winning ways today. Play Rhode Island. |
|||||||
11-29-20 | Chiefs v. Bucs OVER 56 | 27-24 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 41 m | Show
The Chiefs avenged their only loss this season as they beat the Raiders last week, 35-31 on a last minute TD drive by Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs have scored 33 or more points in four straight games and have yet to score fewer than 23 points. The offense ranks 2nd overall and 1st via the pass (301 yards per game). The rushing game is adequate, ranking 16th at 113 yards per game. The defense is right in the middle of the pack at 15th. Tampa Bay was embarrassed again in the big national spotlight, this time losing at home to the Rams, 24-27. Tom Brady looking very average of late couldn't lead his team on any last minute win. The Rams passed for 367 yards against the highly ranked Bucs defense. If Jared Goff could pass for over 300 yards against this Bucs team, what will Mahomes do here today? I really believe there is a disconnection between Brady and HC Arians. They don't seem to be on the same page at times and Brady looks to get rid of passes all too early. I'm taking the Chiefs here on Sunday. |
|||||||
11-29-20 | Titans +3 v. Colts | 45-26 | Win | 100 | 14 h 17 m | Show
The Titans have proven they can play with anyone, even on the road. They beat the Raven last week in Baltimore, 30-24 as a 6-point dog. Their only loss on the road this season came at Cincinnati of all places. The Colts coming off a win last week against the Packers, 34-31. It was the team's second win and cover in a row. The Colts had 420 yards to the Packers' 367 yards. The Titans rolled-up 173 yards on the ground against the Ravens last week. The Titans offense is ranked 10th overall and 5th rushing. The Colts offense is ranked 13th overall. The Indy defense is very good at No 2 in the league. Now Tennessee is getting points in this spot. This game will be the Titans rushing vs the Colts defense. Don't expect another shootout like last week. I'll take the points as the Titans have shown they can win outright on the road. Play Tennessee. |
|||||||
11-29-20 | Panthers +3 v. Vikings | 27-28 | Win | 100 | 14 h 16 m | Show
Just when you think the Minnesota Vikings are playing better, they lay an egg. The Vikings had won three straight games including a 28-22 win at Green Bay. So you would think a depleted and down Cowboys team visiting Minnesota would be an easy win. Not so! The Cowboys put together a excellent game and kept Minnesota from a late 4th quarter winning drive to beat the Vikings, 31-28. Now they host Carolina, another team with injuries. Carolina beat Detroit last week 20-0 holding the Lions to just 185 yards of offense and getting five sacks and three turnovers. The Panthers will be without RB Christian McCaffrey, something they have been accustomed to this year. However, they look to get back QB Teddy Bridgewater, who missed last week with a knee injury. A big loss for the Vikings this week will be WR Adam Thielen who has to sit out due to Covid issues. For me, the Panthers are the better team here and the points are a bonus. Play Carolina. |
|||||||
11-29-20 | Cardinals v. Patriots +2 | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 14 h 16 m | Show
Arizona makes the long trip from the West to the Northeast today to take on the Patriots. The Pats actually find themselves a small dog here at home on Sunday, currently around +2 points. Arizona has had a rough stretch, playing Buffalo, then last week at Seattle and now at New England. The Cardinals lost at Seattle, 28-21, totaling just 314 yards in the process against one of the worst defenses in the league. The Pats lost last week too, dropping their contest at Houston, 20-27. The Pats had 455 yards in the loss and no turnovers. Cam Newton threw for 349 yards in the loss. Arizona still has the league's top ranked offense, despite their below average showing last week. The Pats come in at 16th. I don't like these West teams that have to make the long trips East. Plus I get a couple of points with the host here. I'll take the Patriots in this one. Play New England. |
|||||||
11-29-20 | Raiders v. Falcons +3 | 6-43 | Win | 102 | 14 h 15 m | Show
The Las Vegas Raiders have had some tough losses this year and last week was one of them. They led Kansas City with just over a minute remaining, but that's all Patrick Mahomes needed to drive the Chiefs for the winning score, 35-31. The Raiders now have to make the long trip East to Atlanta to play the Falcons. The Falcons lost last week at New Orleans, 9-24. The loss snapped a two game win streak for Atlanta. The Falcons had just 248 yards in the loss with a pair of turnovers. That was a departure for the 9th ranked Falcons offense. They are also 4th in passing. Vegas is 14th in offense, 20th with the pass. Both teams in the lower half of the league in defense, Vegas ranking 23rd and Atlanta 29th. Not sure the right team is favored in this game. Vegas laying points on the road isn't what they do best. I'll take the home dog here. Play Atlanta. |
|||||||
11-29-20 | Richmond +8.5 v. Kentucky | 76-64 | Win | 100 | 2 h 5 m | Show
Richmond played its first game on Friday and go the win over Morehead State, 82-64, though failed to cover the 21-point chalk line. The Spiders return all five starters to a team that was 24-7 last year and 2nd in the Atlantic 10 with a 14-4 record. All good things on horizon for this Richmond team. This team is full of veterans and leaders. Kentucky has also played one game, a 81-45 win over Morehead State last Wednesday as a 25.5 point favorite. Kentucky looks to be in a rebuild mode as they lost all five starters from a team that went 25-6 last year and 15-3 in the SEC (1st place). This is nothing new for Calipari as he usually looses many players to the NBA draft. So it might take a bit for this team to find the right starting combinations. For me, Richmond has all the pieces in place already and early in the season that makes the difference for me. Play Richmond. |
|||||||
11-28-20 | Rhode Island +1.5 v. South Florida | 84-68 | Win | 100 | 6 h 53 m | Show
Rhode Island has a couple of games behind them now and they are 0-2 S/U and 1-1 ATS thus far. After shooting 50% from 3-point land in their opener vs Arizona State, they dropped to just 17% in their loss to Boston College last game. South Florida Bulls played Florida College for their only game, an easy win 94-84. A lot is expected of this Rams team so 0-2 to start is not acceptable. That being said, I don't look for this Rams team to start the season 0-3. I expect them to get their first win here today. Play Rhode Island. |
|||||||
11-28-20 | Mississippi State v. Ole Miss OVER 69.5 | 24-31 | Loss | -103 | 16 h 58 m | Show
Two old rivals meet here on the gridiron on Saturday as Ole Miss hosts Mississippi State. State is coming off a loss at Georgia last week, 24-31. They got the cover and the game went over. It was only the 2nd over of the season for State. Ole Miss is a much more scoring machine, beating South Carolina two weeks ago 59-42 and having last week off. Ole Miss has gone over in five of their seven games. They have also scored 35 or more points in five of seven games. Ole Miss one of the worst defensive teams in football, ranking 125th. However, where they lack on defense they make up for on offense, ranking 3rd overall in the nation. Miss State not a high scoring team, but when playing one of the worst defensive teams in the country they should get there share here. It's Ole Miss that will drive this game over though, as I expect at least 40 point out of the Rebels. Take the OVER. |
|||||||
11-28-20 | Rutgers v. Purdue OVER 60 | 37-30 | Win | 100 | 16 h 57 m | Show
Rutgers won their opener back in October against Michigan State. Since then they are 0-4 after last week's loss at home to Michigan, 42-48. Rutgers has allowed 27 or more points in all but one game this season with three of those at 37 or more points. Purdue was favored last week at Minnesota, but lost in a shootout, 31-34. It was the club's second straight loss. The rest of the schedule (3 games) is Rutgers today, then at home against Nebraska and close out at Indiana. Purdue is 63rd in the nation in offense with Rutgers at 91st. Purdue is 62nd in defense with Rutgers at 87th. Don't figure there to be much defense in this contest. I look for Purdue to get plenty of points in this one. Play the OVER. |
|||||||
11-28-20 | Northwestern -13 v. Michigan State | Top | 20-29 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 35 m | Show |
Northwestern showed just why they are one of the best teams in the Big 10 as they totally shut down Wisconsin last week, 17-7. The Northwestern defense we knew was good, but they were outstanding last week. They Cats have now covered all five games this year as they head to Michigan State today. The Michigan State Spartans were shut out two weeks ago by Indiana, 24-0. The Spartans have scored seven points combined in their last two games. Not good for now having to play the 15th ranked defense in the country. I look for another Northwestern win and possible shutout here on Saturday. Play Northwestern. |
|||||||
11-28-20 | Troy v. Appalachian State UNDER 49 | 10-47 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 27 m | Show
App State has one of the best defensive teams in the country and it showed last week as they contained a Coastal Carolina team for most of the the game. Even though Coastal beat App State, 34-23, seven of those points came on a pick six late in the games with just seconds remaining to give Coastal the cover. That was the most points App State has allowed this year. In fact, before that game, the previous seven opponents have been held to 21 points or fewer. That doesn't bode well for a Troy team that has scored just 30 total points in their last two games. Troy coming off a loss last week to a bad Middle Tennessee State team, 17-20. Troy has just four wins and with two games left against the top tier conference teams, it doesn't look good for Troy to get any more W's. I don't see Troy getting much in points here today and App State likely will ground it out on the ground. Take the UNDER. |
|||||||
11-28-20 | Texas Tech v. Oklahoma State -10.5 | 44-50 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 5 m | Show
Big 12 matchup as Oklahoma State hosts Texas Tech on Saturday. Texas Tech is coming off a hard fought home win over Baylor two weeks ago, 24-23. They had the week off to prepare for today's contest. The win snapped a two game losing streak by Tech. Ok State lost to their rivals, Oklahoma last week, 13-41. The Cowboys fell behind early and could never recover. They are now 5-2 with three games to play in the regular season. The Cowboys excellent defense allowed 301 passing yards to the Sooners and another 191 rushing yards. The loss dropped the Cowboys defense to 25th in the country. They won't have that vaunted Oklahoma offense to contend with this week. I look for a Ok State rebound this week as they look to take out some frustration on the visiting Texas Tech team. Take Oklahoma State. |
|||||||
11-27-20 | La Salle v. St. Peter's -2 | 51-62 | Win | 100 | 4 h 40 m | Show
The Lasalle Explorers opened their seasson with a loss to St Johns, 65-82. Lasalle was 15-15 overall last year and 6-12 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. They return three starters to the team for Ashley Howard. Lasalle will have more depth this year and the talent level should be better also. This team will go down in their frontcourt however, where they will lack the most talent. This team is still in a building mode. St Peters also opened with a loss to St Johns, 75-76. They did cover the 11-point dog line though. The Peacocks hit over 50% from the field while holding St Johns to just 40.7%. The Peacocks returned just two starters to a team that was 4-6 in the Metro Atlantic last year and finished 2nd. This team looks to be good both in front an back courts again this year and the Bench is decent. They showed they can play with St Johns and really should have won that game. Look for a easy St Peters win here today. |
|||||||
11-27-20 | Notre Dame -5.5 v. North Carolina | Top | 31-17 | Win | 100 | 16 h 0 m | Show |
Top 25 matchup here on Friday has No 2 Notre Dame taking on No 25 North Carolina. This game looks to be the most difficult thus far for the Irish. Yes they played Clemson, but QB Lawrence missed that game with Covid. The Irish are a perfect 8-0 on the season while North Carolina is 6-2 with losses coming to Florida State and Virginia. The Tar Heels are coming off a shootout two weeks ago against Wake Forest, which they won in a come-from-behind fashion, 59-53. It follows that the Tar Heels would have the 4th ranked offense in the country. Notre Dame comes in at 24th. The Irish have a much better defense though, ranked 9th overall compared to the 68th ranked defense of NCU. These teams have met just once in the last five years and that was in 2017 with the Irish winning at Chapel Hill, 33-10. I like the Irish as it appears they are destined for a New Year's day playoff spot. They can' afford to look past any opponent, especially the Tar Heels here today. Play Notre Dame. |
|||||||
11-27-20 | Boise State +13 v. Houston | 58-68 | Win | 100 | 3 h 39 m | Show
Boise State plays its first game of the season here today. The Broncos return two starters to a team that finished 20-12 last year and 11-7 in the Mountain West. The Broncos have now won 20 games seven times in the last eight seasons. Head Coach Leon Rice said this will be his most athletic team he has had in some time. The backcourt will be excellent this year and they will have plenty of depth on the bench. Rice says they have eight or nine players that can start on this team and that makes for a great bench. The hardest part for Rice is finding which five to start. Houston had an easy tuneup with Lamar on Wednesday, winning 89-45. The Cougars held Lamar to just 30% shooting from the field and 7.7% from the 3-point stripe. Houston was 23-8 last year and 13-5 in the American Athletic, which tied them for first. They return three starters to this year's team. HC Kelvin Sampson has built a decent program in Houston and that looks to continue this year. This will be a nice test against a very good Boise State team here today. I think Houston laying 13.5 against a good Boise team is way too many points. I'm taking the dog here in this one. Play Boise State. |
|||||||
11-27-20 | Belmont v. George Mason +3.5 | 77-67 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 39 m | Show
Belmont opened its season with a win over Howard yesterday, 95-78. The Bruins hit over 50% of their shots from the field. Belmont was first in the Ohio Valley conference last year with a 26-7 overall record and 15-3 conference mark. The Bruins had a NCAA berth last year until it was pulled by Covid. There are high hopes for this club this season. George Mason plays its first game of the season here today. The Patriots looks to rebound from a 5-13 conference record last year, though they did have an overall winning record at 17-15. Mason had lots of injury problems last year that they hope to avoid this season. They return all five starters, which is great news for Dave Paulsen. This team should have much better depth with those starters returning and a healthy bench. Belmont laying points here today. For me, I'll take Mason as they return all that experience and should gel better early with a lack of game experience most teams will have. Play George Mason. |
|||||||
11-27-20 | Iowa State v. Texas +1 | 23-20 | Loss | -110 | 33 h 26 m | Show
Iowa State looks for its fourth straight win here on Friday at Texas. The Cyclones are coming off a shutout win over Kansas State last week, 45-0. Iowa State has just two losses this year, their opening game to Louisiana and then to Oklahoma State, 21-24. The teams last game will be next week at home against West Virginia. Texas plays its last two games of the regular season with their game today and then next week at Kansas State. The Longhorns are coming off a bye week, so they have had plenty of time to prepare for this game. They have won three straight games and are 5-3 on the season. Iowa State has the 38th ranked offense in the nation with Texas coming in at right behind them at 39th. Texas has the 59th ranked defense and Iowa State is 24th. Texas has covered the last four in this series, though they did lose at Iowas State last year, 21-23. Basically we just need to win this game here with Texas as the line is around -1 on Texas. Take Texas. |
|||||||
11-26-20 | New Mexico v. Utah State UNDER 52 | Top | 27-41 | Loss | -115 | 16 h 26 m | Show |
New Mexico is literally playing every game on the road this year. Due to Covid restrictions, they aren't allowed to play in their home stadium, so all their home games are in Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. In reality, this team has no home. And, they are still looking for that first win of the season. They played at Air Force last week and were able to hold the high flying Falcons to just 28 points, but alas, the Lobos were shutout. They also held a very potent Nevada offense to just 27 points the week before, but again lost, scoring just 20. Utah State has yet to win a game in four tries. In fact, they haven't scored more than 16 points in any game. The result was firing of their head coach. Still, same result last week in a 16-35 loss at home to Fresno. So tonight one of these teams will get their first win of the season. For me, I'm taking the UNDER here. Neither team has much offense to present. Utah State is 126th in offense, only U Mass is worse this year. New Mexico is better at 64th. I look for a low scoring game here today. Play UNDER. |
|||||||
11-26-20 | Washington Football Team v. Cowboys UNDER 46 | 41-16 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 27 m | Show
Washington was responsible for ending Joe Burrows year last week with a knee injury. Washington had little trouble with the Bengals thereafter, taking the game 20-9. The Dallas Cowboys got a much needed win in the NFC East with a win over the Vikings last week, 31-28. It was the most points the Cowboys have put on the board since Dak Prescot went out for the season on October 11th vs the Giants. Thanks in part to the role Prescot played early in the season, the Cowboys still have the 6th ranked offense, 13th rushing and 7th passing. Washington is ranked 26th in the league in offense, 20th rushing and 24th passing. Washington has a decent defense, ranked 6th overall and 1st against the pass. Look for Washington to put more men in the box on Thursday to stop Ezekiel Elliot and put pressure on the Dallas passing game. I'm going to take this matchup under as I don't see either team getting a lot of points. Play UNDER. |
|||||||
11-25-20 | Liberty +9.5 v. Purdue | 64-77 | Loss | -106 | 19 h 51 m | Show
Liberty had an excellent season last year before the Covid stopped play. The Flames were 30-4 and 13-3 in the Atlanta Sun (1st place). Ritchie McKay enters his 8th season at Liberty. This team doesn't look to be as dynamic as it was last year but expect them to be right in the thick of the A-Sun race again this year. This team was 2nd in the nation in scoring defense, allowing a paltry 53.8 ppg last year. Expect that same kind of tenacity again this year. IT's a shame that last year's team got shut down just after winning the A-Sun Championship and heading to the NCAA tourney. He does return guards Darius McGhee and Elijah Cuffee to build this year's team around. Liberty hasn't lost the A-Sun since joining the conference. They had heavy losses to graduation and that will show in their depth as six red-shirt freshman will grace the roster. This team might not be as good as last year, but they will still be a team that will be there at the end. Lets take the points here on Wednesday. |
|||||||
11-25-20 | Old Dominion +8 v. Maryland | 67-85 | Loss | -108 | 15 h 21 m | Show
Old Dominion Monarchs look for a better season after a 13-19 2019 season. The Monarchs finished the year with just seven players on the roster after injuries and mid-season transfers. The team looks for more depth as they welcome back Jason Jones, one of their best players. This was a great rebounding team, 1st in Conference USA on both the offensive and defensive boards. It's the offense they need improvement with this year. Look for the Monarchs to up the tempo this year with the offense with some key returners on offense. You may even see four guards on the floor at the same time. If this team can improve on the offense, and do believe that will happen, they have the pieces to contend in the conference. As for today's contest, I'll take the points here with the visitor. Play Old Dominion. |
|||||||
11-23-20 | Rams v. Bucs -3 | Top | 27-24 | Loss | -130 | 150 h 22 m | Show |
Rams beat the Seahawks on Sunday, shutting them out in the 2nd half. However, the win didn't come without a big loss, that being left tackle Andrew Whitworth who tore his MCL and is done for the season. Why is this so important? The Rams play one of the best defenses in the league and a defense that loves to blitz QB's. With Whitworth out, you lose a very good veteran who protects Goff's blindside. That will open up the attack for the Bucs and you can believe they will design an attack just for that here on Monday. Goff does not do well under pressure and he will be under plenty tonight. I'm going to lay the short field goal here in what I see as a Bucs blowout win. |
|||||||
11-23-20 | Rams v. Bucs UNDER 48.5 | 27-24 | Loss | -110 | 46 h 32 m | Show
Rams beat the Seahawks on Sunday, shutting them out in the 2nd half. With Goff under all this pressure from a top NFL defense I look for the Rams to score below their season average and this game to go UNDER. |
|||||||
11-22-20 | Packers v. Colts OVER 51 | 31-34 | Win | 100 | 18 h 41 m | Show
The Green Bay Packers will unleash their 6th ranked offense against the Indianapolis Colts and their top ranked defense. The Colts have the 3rd ranked rushing defense and the 2nd ranked passing defense. The Packers played a pretty uninspired contest last week at Jacksonville, winning 24-20 as a 13.5 point favorite. The Colts had a pretty easy time at Tennessee, winning 34-17 on the road as a 1-point favorite. The Colts had 430 yards to just 294 by the Titans. The Packers have score 30 points or more in six of their nine games this season. Despite having a good defense, the Colts have gone over in four of their last five games. For me, that's what I'm playing this weekend. Take the OVER. |
|||||||
11-22-20 | Patriots -1.5 v. Texans | 20-27 | Loss | -117 | 14 h 17 m | Show
The NE Patriots pulled off a huge win last week at home over the Baltimore Ravens, 23-17. It was the teams 2nd win in a row since their four game losing string. Cam Newtown returned from his Covid exile and now looks to be back into form. A big plus for the Pats here on Sunday is the return of RB Sony Michele who hasn't played since week 3. Houston lost last week to Cleveland, 7-10 in a wind filled game. The Texans could muster just 243 total yards. It was the teams 2nd loss in their last three games. Houston is now just 2-7 ATS on the season while the Patriots are 4-5 ATS. Both teams are very evenly matched on offense with the Pats having the 13th ranked defense compared to the Texans 29th ranked defense. Pats laying just 2 or 2 1/2 here so basically have to little more than win. I like them in this spot. Play New England. |
|||||||
11-22-20 | Titans +6.5 v. Ravens | 30-24 | Win | 100 | 14 h 16 m | Show
The Tennessee Titans look to get back on the winning side today after losing to the Colts last week, 17-34. Baltimore is also coming off a loss, losing at the Patriots last week, 17-23. Baltimore's offense ranks just 22nd in the league, but they have the 2nd best rushing offense. The Titans have the 11th ranked offense with the 6th ranked rushing offense. Expect to see a lot of rushing in this game as two of the best will go head to head on the ground. I'll take the points here with the visitor. Play Tennessee. |
|||||||
11-22-20 | Falcons +4 v. Saints | 9-24 | Loss | -115 | 14 h 16 m | Show
NFC South clash here has Atlanta Falcons playing at New Orleans Saints. Saints will be without QB Drew Brees who will sit this one out with a rib injury. Taysom Hill will step into the starters role for the Saints. Hill sees plenty of action normally so this shouldn't be a big departure for the Saints. The Saints were able to beat the 49ers last week, 27-13 behind four San Francisco turnovers. The Saints also used their potent rushing attack to gain 114 yards compared to the Niners 49 yards. The Falcons have the 30th ranked defense, 6th vs the rush and 30th vs the pass. Even without Brees, I like these teams to get points on the board. Hill should have issues moving this team against this poor Falcons defense. Expect lots of points here today. Play the OVER. |
|||||||
11-22-20 | Falcons v. Saints OVER 49 | 9-24 | Loss | -107 | 14 h 15 m | Show

11-21-20 | Kansas State +12 v. Iowa State | 0-45 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 9 m | Show
Kansas State has dropped its last two games and now is 4-3 on the season. They lost last week at home to Oklahoma State, 18-20, but covered the 14-point dog line. Now they will have to play at Iowa State as they look to snap that 2-game losing streak. Iowa State has won two straight games after their loss to Oklahoma State, 21-24. They are coming off a home win over Baylor, 38-31 two weeks ago as a 14-point favorite. Kansas State won this game last year at home, 27-17 covering as a home dog. A bit surprised that K State getting double digits as a dog here. I'm not sure they can't actually win this contest today. I'll take the points in this one. Play Kansas State. |
|||||||
11-21-20 | Wisconsin v. Northwestern +7.5 | 7-17 | Win | 100 | 17 h 39 m | Show
Very good Big 10 battle here between two of the best in the league. Wisconsin is 2-0 after demolishing their first two opponents. They opened with a win at home over Illinois, 45-7 and then went into Penn State last week and beat them 49-11. The defense is once again excellent, ranked 1st overall in the nation right now and have only allowed one redzone possession and that resulted in a field goal. Northwester has also flashed defense, ranked 11th overall in the nation. The Wildcats have won and covered their first four games this season after last week's win at Purdue, 27-20. They have yet to allow more than 20 points to any one team. This one really shapes up to be a nice defensive battle. With Northwestern getting 7 or 7 1/2 points that just looks to be too many points to this fine defensive team. Play Northwestern. |
|||||||
11-21-20 | UCLA v. Oregon -17 | 35-38 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 37 m | Show
UCLA was forced to move their game last week to Sunday because of the virus. They responded well with a 34-10 win over Cal as a 3.5 point dog. They opened the season with a loss at Colorado, 42-48 as a 7-point favorite. Oregon has also played two games, opening with a win at home over Stanford, 35-14 and then winning at Washington State, 43-29. Now they face a possibly shorthanded UCLA squad. UCLA Qb Dorian Thompson-Robinson is questionable in this game with his Covid Quarantine. UCLA is ranked 25th offensively after two games. The defense is 33rd. These teams haven't met since 2018 and in that contest the Ducks drowned the Bruins, 42-21. With or without the UCLA QB, I like Oregon at home in this one. Play Oregon. |
|||||||
11-21-20 | Cincinnati -4.5 v. Central Florida | 36-33 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 33 m | Show
Cincinnati Bearcats looking to make one of the New Year's day playoff bowl games and they have made a statement for that thus far. Cincy didn't hold back last week against ECU, beating them 55-17 and even faking a punt up 32-points. The Cats are a perfect 7-0 and have what could be their biggest test thus far at Central Florida. UCF is 5-2 but lost to Memphis by just one point and lost to Tulsa by eight. The Cats won this game last year 27-24 at home after UFC had won the prior three contests. UCF has the nation's top ranked offense with Cincy coming in at 21st. Both teams will have their respective hands full with the opposing offenses. UCF has a poor defense, ranked 94th overall and has a 81.1% defensive redzone efficiency as they have allowed 21 TD's out of 28 redzone tries this year. I believe this is the Bearcats season. I look for them to win here today, cover and keep their playoff hopes alive. Play Cincinnati. |
|||||||
11-21-20 | Iowa v. Penn State +1.5 | 41-21 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 33 m | Show
If there is one team that might be the most difficult to understand what happened, that's Penn State. It has been one disaster after another for the Nittany Lions this year. They are 0-4 both S/U and ATS, though they did come back after being down big last week at Nebraska but still lost 23-30. They have allowed at least 30 points in all four games thus far. Iowa has bounced back after starting the season 0-2. The Hawkeyes have since flexed their defensive muscles with a 49-7 win over Michigan State and a 35-7 win at Minnesota last week. Penn State has dominated in recent years, winning the last four against Iowa and covering three of the four. It's not too often we get Penn State at home as a small dog. Futhermore, I believe this team is better then they have showed us thus far. The season likely has no meaning now for the Lions, but they still play for pride. Take Penn State. |
|||||||
11-21-20 | Appalachian State v. Coastal Carolina -4 | 23-34 | Win | 100 | 13 h 4 m | Show
Great matchup here on Saturday as 6-1 Appalachian State takes on 7-0 and 15th ranked Coastal Carolina. App State Mountaineers have won three straight division titles, but the Chanticleers look to send that this season. Winner of this game looks to play for the Conference Championship against Louisiana. App State is also 3-0 in this series, so Carolina has something to prove here on Saturday. This is going to be a close game, but for me, this is Coastal's season and I expect them to send a statement here on Saturday. Play Coastal Carolina. |
|||||||
11-19-20 | Cardinals v. Seahawks UNDER 58.5 | 21-28 | Win | 100 | 33 h 9 m | Show
The Seattle Seahawks were shutout in the 2nd half of Sunday's loss at the Rams. When was the last time that has happened to a Russell Wilson led team? So why did this happen? Wilson is getting beat up without a good offensive line in front of him. That's becoming apparent. And as such, I look for the Hawks to spend more time running the ball here tonight. They can't keep letting Wilson get hit as mush as he has been lately. The gameplan has to change tonight and for me I see much more running attack by Seattle. With that being said, that 58 point total looks like a mountain to me that these teams will not overcome. Then you add in possibly the wind and rain and that makes me like this play even more. I'm playing UNDER in this one on Thursday. |
|||||||
11-18-20 | Northern Illinois v. Ball State OVER 61.5 | 25-31 | Loss | -112 | 6 h 27 m | Show
Northern Illinois playing its third game tonight after a pair of blowout losses. The Huskies opened with a loss at home to Buffalo, 30-49,failing to cover the 14.5 point line. Then last week they were blown out at home by Central Michigan, 10-40 as a 7-point dog. Ball State is 1-1 after losing their opener to Miami Ohio, 31-38 and then wining last week over Eastern Michigan, 38-31. Both games easily going over the total. The weather looks to be pretty good tonight with temps in the mid-40's with light winds. This one looks to be another shootout tonight with both team scoring and neither having much of a defense. Play the OVER. |
|||||||
11-17-20 | Akron v. Kent State -27 | Top | 35-69 | Win | 100 | 8 h 51 m | Show |
Looks like early week is MAC week as MAC play enters its 3rd week, at least for most teams. Some have had Covid issues and games PPD. Tonight Akron travels to play at Kent State. Kent is one of the better teams in the MAC at 2-0 on Season. They opened with a win over Eastern Michigan, 27-23, but failed to cover 5-point line. Then they went to Bowling Green where they cruised to a 62-24 win and cover. Now they host a poor Akron as they should go 3-0 tonight. Akron is 0-2 after losing to Western Michigan 13-58 and then last week at Ohio, 10-24, covering the 26-point line. Akron out gained Ohio last week 434 to 307 yards. It was the three turnovers that hurt the Zips. Kent State rolled-up 667 yards at Bowling Green last week and had 30 more offensive plays. Kent is now 6th in the country in total yards. Kent held Akron to just 3 points last year in this matchup. I'm going to lay the points with a very good Kent team tonight. Play Kent. |
|||||||
11-17-20 | Buffalo v. Bowling Green UNDER 58 | 42-17 | Loss | -107 | 7 h 51 m | Show
Buffalo Bulls brings their 2-0 record into Bowling Green tonight. The Bulls opened with a win over Northern Illinois, 49-30, then beat last year's MAC Champion Miami Ohio, 42-10. Bowling Green Falcons opened with a loss to Toledo, 3-38 and then lost to Kent State last week, 24-62. Buffalo is 21-7 ATS in their last 28 conference games. The Falcons are just 5-21 ATS in their last 26 at home and have gone UNDER in 14 of their last 19 games overall. Bowling Green has a tough schedule as they now plays their third good MAC team in a row and that will be another loss tonight. I'm looking at the total here. Buffalo can score at will against this team, but the Bulls defense should hold BG to very few if any points. I'm going to take the UNDER here tonight. |
|||||||
11-16-20 | Vikings v. Bears UNDER 43.5 | 19-13 | Win | 100 | 50 h 56 m | Show
The Vikings coming off a big win at home over Detroit last week, 34-20. That's two big wins in a row since Dalvin Cook returned. The running game is piling up the yards with 275 last week and 173 the week before. Compare that to just 32 in their loss three weeks ago to Atlanta, 23-40. The Bears got stuffed last week in Tennessee, 17-27. The Bears defense did its job, holding the Titans to just 228 total yards. However, two turnovers were too much to overcome in the loss. The Bears are now 3-6 Over/Under on the season and 1-3 o/u at home. Chicago has the 30th ranked offense in the league this year. However, their defense is ranked 8th, 7th vs the pass and 14th vs the run. This one will all depend on how well the Vikings can run the ball against this Bears defense. I look for a low scoring game in this one. Take UNDER |
|||||||
11-16-20 | Vikings v. Bears +3.5 | 19-13 | Loss | -111 | 6 h 37 m | Show

11-16-20 | Panama v. United States -1 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 4 h 42 m | Show
USA finally hit the turf for a real game last week at Wales. It had been a long time since the squad had been in a actual game and the rust was appearant, at least on the offensive side as they ended in a 0-0 draw with Wales. The last time these teams met was on June 26, 201 with the USA taking the game at home, 1-0. The last four games for Panama have resulted in either 1-0 contests, 0-0 against Guatamal or a 2-0 win over Guatamala. The USA had some chances to score against Wales, but couldn't finish them off, likely a result of such a long layoff. I expect the USA to get at least one goal today, but not really anything from Panama. Take the USA as they finally get on the scoreboard. USA -1, -1.16 |
|||||||
11-15-20 | Broncos +4 v. Raiders | 12-37 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 46 m | Show
The Denver Broncos trailed big last week in Atlanta. However, they closed the gap in the 2nd half, but came up just short in the loss, 27-34. The Broncos have had a very balanced attack, as they have over 100 yards rushing in each of their last five games and seven of their eight overall. The defense has registered at least one sack in every game this year and 18 sacks in their last five games. The Las Vegas Raiders are coming off a win last week at the Chargers, 31-26. Vegas has won three straight road games. However, they have lost their last two home games. This is a run first team, gaining 160 yards on the ground last week and 208 the previous game. The Raiders have the 9th ranked rushing offense in the league. The issue is the defense, which ranks 22nd overall and 26th vs the pass. There is no love lost between these teams. However, the dog looks to be the play here today. Take the Broncos. |
|||||||
11-15-20 | Chargers v. Dolphins OVER 48 | 21-29 | Win | 100 | 22 h 43 m | Show
The Chargers look to snap a two game losing streak here on Sunday. They lost last week to the Raiders, 26-31 and the previous week to the Broncos, 30-31. The Chargers just can't seem to win close games as they had chances to win both games in the final seconds. Defense has been an issue, allowing 29 points or more in five straight games (all overs). Despite all the points allowed, they come in ranked 15th overall in defense. Meanwhile, Miami looks to win their third straight under their new rookie QB. The Dolphins won on the road last week at Arizona, 34-31. That followed a win at home over the Rams, 28-17. In both games the Dolphins were out gained in total yards. The defense and special teams have produced touchdowns in both games. Miami's 21st ranked defense will have to contend with Chargers' QB Hebert who is having an excellent season since taking over for Tyrod Taylor. The Chargers have the 3rd ranked overall offense, 5th in passing. I expect a lot of points on the board here today as neither defense likely to stop the opposing offense. Play OVER. |
|||||||
11-15-20 | Bills v. Cardinals OVER 56 | 30-32 | Win | 100 | 22 h 43 m | Show
The Bills offense was clicking last week at home against Seattle in a big win, 44-34. Even though they ran the ball for just 34 yards, Josh Allen threw for 386 yards in the win. It was the team's second over in a row after they beat New England two weeks ago, 24-21. That ended a drought that saw the team score 18 or fewer points in three straight weeks. Arizona had no answer last week for Miami as they lost in a shootout, 31-34. The defense didn't play bad for giving up 34 points, allowing just 91 rushing yards and 221 passing yards. Arizona rushed for 178 yards and passed for 264 yards in the loss. It was the team's 2nd over after a 37-34 win the previous week over Seattle. Arizona has the league's 2nd ranked offense, 2nd rushing and 12th passing. Buffalo ranks 12th, 26th rushing and 7th passing. Both teams are about even defensively, with Buffalo coming in at 18th and Arizona 19th. I expect a lot of yards in this one and with that another OVER. Play OVER. |
|||||||
11-15-20 | Texans v. Browns -3.5 | Top | 7-10 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 40 m | Show |
Cleveland had last week off. Good thing too with some Covid concerns and also injuries. Those appear to be solved here today. However, if you remember back to their Nov 1 game vs the Raiders they had high winds and it really shut down the scoring. The Browns had just 223 totals yards and neither team got over 122 yards passing. Well, it's deja vu all over again here today. Winds are expected over 20 mph throughout the game and for me, that means another ground and pound game from both teams. I believe that the experience of having played the wind already gives the Browns an advantage here today. They just have to follow the Raiders game plan from last time and run, run, run the ball. They have the horses to do that here today and keep the ball out of Houston's hands. Take Cleveland. |
|||||||
11-15-20 | Eagles v. Giants +4 | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 19 h 40 m | Show
No matter how bad the NFC East teams are or even their records, all teams are still in the hunt for the division title. That's because the first place Eagles are just 3-4-1 with 2nd place Washington at 2-6 and last place Giants are 2-7. That makes this game all the more important for the Giants if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Giants have played very well of late, in fact their last four game have all been decided by three points or fewer. They are coming off a road win at Washington, 23-20. They lost to these Eagles three weeks ago in Philly, 21-22. The defense has not allowed 100 yards or more on the ground in any of their last four games. Moreover, only two of three of their nine opponents have gained over 100 yards on the ground this year against them. Philly can put some distance in the division with a win here today. They are coming off a win over the Cowboys, 23-9. It was the team's second win in a row. I like the way the Giants are playing and I look for a straight-up win here today out of New York. However, I'll take the 3.5 points with a much improved Giants team. Play New York. |
|||||||
11-15-20 | Texans v. Browns UNDER 46 | 7-10 | Win | 100 | 19 h 39 m | Show
Cleveland had last week off. With that, I'll throw out stats in this one and put my money on the wind and in this case, the UNDER |
|||||||
11-15-20 | Jaguars v. Packers UNDER 49 | 20-24 | Win | 100 | 19 h 39 m | Show
Jacksonville finally got a spread win after five straight loss with their narrow defeat last week to Houston, 25-27. The defense held the Texans to just 374 yards in the loss. The Packers bounced back from their loss to the Vikings two weeks ago with a win over the SFO 49ers, 34-17. Green Bay has the 6th ranked overall offense this season. Jacksonville is 21st in the league. One factor not on the stat sheet today is the weather. Actually the wind, which will be blow up into the 20's here today. Winds effect play more than rain or possibly even snow. Jax QB Gardner Minshew will miss this game with a thumb injury. That will further hinder the scoring in this contest. I'm taking UNDER here today. |
|||||||
11-14-20 | Wisconsin v. Michigan +5 | 49-11 | Loss | -110 | 34 h 55 m | Show
Wisconsin finally back in action after many weeks off due to Covid protocols. Have to wonder how the nationally ranked Badgers will respond here today after the long layoff. The Badgers only game this year was on October 23, a 45-7 win over Illinois. Problem in the Big 10 is they don't have a lot of latitude to reschedule games. Wisconsin only has five more games scheduled and any more cancellations could mean they won't have enough games this year. Michigan might wish they have had games cancelled the way they have played. The Wolverines won their opener against Minnesota, 49-24 and then have lost to Michigan State, 24-27 and last week to Indiana, 21-38. They allowed Indiana 460 yards of offense to just 357 by Michigan. Michigan also turned the ball over twice to no take aways. Last year Wisconsin won this matchup 35-14 in Madison as a 3-point favorite. These teams are ranked right next to each other in offense with Wisconsin at 42 and Michigan 43. I have to look for an improved effort here today at home from Michigan while I just don't know what to expect from this Wisconsin team. We could see rust and this is no place for that to occur. I'll take the rare Michigan home dog here today. Play Michigan. |
|||||||
11-14-20 | Notre Dame v. Boston College +14 | 45-31 | Push | 0 | 30 h 45 m | Show
Huge win last week for Notre Dame as they defeated No 1 Clemson, 47-40 in OT. It looked bleak for the Irish as they fell behind last in the 4th quarter, but rallied for the tying TD to force OT. Sure, Clemson was without QB Trevor Lawrence, but they still got 439 yards from their young backup. In fact, these teams combined for almost 1000 yards of offense last week. But it was the three Clemson turnovers that made the difference in this one. This week the Irish hit the road at a very good Boston College team that almost beat Clemson a few weeks ago. How to wonder if Notre Dame will have a hangover after their big win last week? Boston College is 5-3 on the season with narrow losses to North Carolina and Clemson. They won a close game last week at Syracuse, 16-13. They have also covered four of their last six games. Notre Dame is ranked 31st in total offense with Boston College coming in at 91. Notre Dame is ranked 9th in defense with BC at 42nd. I'm taking the home team here on Saturday as I look for a sluggish Irish team to show up today after a huge win last week. Play Boston College. |
|||||||
11-14-20 | Miami-FL +2.5 v. Virginia Tech | Top | 25-24 | Win | 100 | 26 h 11 m | Show |
No 9 Miami Florida hits the road today for a conference game at Virginia Tech. The Hurricanes are 6-1 on the season and while they likely won't make a CFB Playoff, they are in line for a good bowl game. The Canes lost last year at Virginia Tech, 35-42, but outgained Tech 563-337. It was a five turnover day that did in the Canes. Miami beat North Carolina State last week, 44-141 as a 11-point favorite. The Canes had 620 total yards and no turnovers in the win. Virginia Tech lost at home to a nationally ranked Liberty team, 35-38 as a 16.5 point favorite. Liberty ran 80 plays to just 58 for Tech. Virginia Tech could be without their top RB here today in Khalil Herbert. Herbert is nursing a hamstring injury and is questionable. Herbert has 804 yards on the season with seven TD's. I like Miami here as a small dog. Points likely won't come into play here, so I looking at a Miami straight up win. Play Miami Florida. |
|||||||
11-14-20 | Indiana v. Michigan State +7.5 | 24-0 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 11 m | Show
No 10 Indiana brings a perfect 3-0 record into today's contest at Michigan State. The Hoosiers looking to send a message to the rest of the Big 10 that they are for real. Indiana beat Penn State in their opener, 36-35 and then beat Rutgers 37-21 and last week did in Michigan, 38-21 at home. They hit the road now for real tests at Michigan State today and then at Ohio State next. You have to go back to 1969 for the last time a Hoosiers football team has been ranked in the top 25. Indiana has the 38th ranked defense this year with Michigan State coming in at 44th. Surprisingly, the Hoosiers have just the 105th ranked offense despite their high scoring games. Another good Big 10 team at home getting quite a few points. I'll take the home team here with the points. Play Michigan State. |
|||||||
11-13-20 | Iowa -3.5 v. Minnesota | 35-7 | Win | 100 | 7 h 19 m | Show
Iowa has three games under its belt in Big 10 play and they are 1-2 after a pair of close losses to open the season. The Hawkeyes opened with a 20-24 loss at Purdue, followed by a 20-21 lost at home to Northwestern. Last week they got their first "W" at home over Michigan State, 49-7. Minnesota has done the same, opening with a pair of losses before getting their first win last week at Illinois, 41-14. Iowa won this matchup last year in Minnesota, 23-19. That win despite being out-gained by the Gophers, 290-431. Iowa has now covered the last four in this series winning all four straight-up too. Minnesota has the nation's 37th ranked offense and a red-zone efficiency rating of 82.5%. Iowa is 77th in offense. Iowa holds the defensive edge, ranked 19th overall in the nation with Minnesota coming in at 112th. Likely to be a close game here as both team's losses have been close games. I'll take the better defense here today and that's IOWA. |
|||||||
11-12-20 | Colts +1 v. Titans | 34-17 | Win | 100 | 20 h 43 m | Show
The Colts took a 10-7 lead into the locker room at halftime against the Ravens last week, but were outscored 0-17 in the 2nd half for the loss, 10-24. The Colts still won the stats battle, having 339 yards to just 266 yards for the Ravens. The Titans beat Chicago last week, 27-17 as a 6-point favorite. The Titans did this despite having just 228 total yards to Chicago's 375 yards. The Bears had two turnovers to none for the Titans. The Colts still have the top rated defense in the league and ranks 3rd both in rushing and passing defense. The Titans are 25th in defense, 17th in rushing and 27th in passing. The Titans hold the edge on offense, ranked 10th overall, 6th rushing and 20th passing. The Colts are 19th overall, 23rd rushing and 14th passing. The Colts have covered three of the last four in the series and six of the last nine. If the Colts can use their 3rd ranked rush defense to keep the running game in check, this looks to be a road win for Indy. Play the Colts. |

11-11-20 | Central Michigan -7.5 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 40-10 | Win | 100 | 22 h 40 m | Show |
Central Michigan won a shootout last week at home over Ohio, 30-27. The Chippewas gained 427 yards to Ohio's 345 yards. In addition, they have 30 more offensive plays then did the Bobcats. Northern Illinois lost at home last week to Buffalo, 30-49. The Huskies had 29 more offensive plays, but just 40 yards more and yet were still outscored by 19 points thanks in part to a -3 turnover ratio. When these teams met last year that game was also in Nothern Illinois as Central won easily, 48-10 as a small dog. Central Michigan has really owned this NIU team, covering the last five years. I expect that again here tonight. I'm taking the road team in this one. Play Central Michigan. |
|||||||
11-10-20 | Miami-OH +8 v. Buffalo | 10-42 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 25 m | Show
Second week of MAC play as Miami Ohio plays at Buffalo tonight. Miami Ohio won a shootout last week with Ball State, 38-31. Miami had 422 yards to Ball State's 478 yards. Both teams had balanced attacks with Miami rushing for 134 yards and passing for another 288. Buffalo had a pretty easy time last week at Northern Illinois. Buffalo won 49-30 despite being out-gained by NIU, 357-397. It was FIVE big turnovers by NIU that turned out to the difference in this one. Miami won this game last year in Ohio, 34-20, as Buffalo had four turnovers in that contest. Miami has now covered four of the last five in this series winning three of those straight-up. Buffalo laying over a TD here tonight looks to be a bit much against a good Miami club. I'll take the points in this one. Play Miami Ohio. |
|||||||
11-10-20 | Kent State -19.5 v. Bowling Green | Top | 62-24 | Win | 100 | 19 h 22 m | Show |
The MAC finally got underway last week and Kent State was in a dog fight with Eastern Michigan. Kent pulled out the win and cover, 28-20. Kent had 431 yards of offense to just 302 by Eastern. In addition, they had a very balanced offense with 212 yards on the ground and 219 yards through the air. Bowling Green is one of the worst teams in the nation and it showed last week at Toledo. BG lost 3-38 as a 18-point dog and was almost doubled in yardage, 267-524. In addition, BG turned the ball over three times. Last year's meeting between these teams was not pretty for BG, as they lost at Kent, 20-62 and gave up 750 yards of offense! Kent has covered the last two in this series and that's just wahat I expect here tonight in another Kent rout. Play Kent State. |
|||||||
11-08-20 | Dolphins v. Cardinals -4.5 | Top | 34-31 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 1 m | Show |
The Tua Tagovailoa era began last week as the rookie made his first start of the season at home against the Rams. If you look at just the final score you would expect a big Miami offensive explosion as they won 28-17. However, it was defensive TD's that made the score and win for the Dolphins. The Rams had 471 yards to just 145 for the Dolphins. Tua had just 90 passing yards and the offense 55 rushing yards. It was the four Rams turnovers that inflated that score. Now they had better find some offense at they travel to Arizona to face the high scoring Cardinals. Arizona has the 2nd ranked offense, 2nd rushing and 14th passing. Miami's defense got all the credit last week, but overall they are just 20th in the league and 26th against the pass. That will be the test this week. I don't believe the Dolphins have much shot against this Cardinals team that is leaps and bounds above them on the offensive sides of the ball. This could be a rough learning day for young Tua. Take the Cardinals. |
|||||||
11-08-20 | Dolphins v. Cardinals OVER 49 | 34-31 | Win | 100 | 19 h 59 m | Show

Expect lots of points in this one, likely most coming from the birds side of the column. Play the OVER. |

11-08-20 | Raiders v. Chargers | 31-26 | Win | 100 | 19 h 40 m | Show
The Raiders make the short trip West to SoFi Stadium to take on the LA Chargers. Las Vegas went into Cleveland last week amid a wind storm and left with a hard earned 16-6 victory. The Raider rushed for 208 yards and passed for just 101 yards. The high winds effected both teams passing attacks as the Browns had just 122 passing yards. The Chargers lost a heartbreaker on the last play of the game at Denver last week, 30-31. The loss came despite 210 rushing and 275 passing yards. The Chargers have the 3rd ranked offense in the league, 6th passing and 8th rushing. The Raiders are 11th in the league, 11th in rushing and 15th passing. Should be plenty of points on the board in this one. The Raiders have had a knack for winning on the road, doing just that their last two away games at Cleveland and Kansas City. I'll take the points with the Raiders today. Play Las Vegas. |
|||||||
11-08-20 | Raiders v. Chargers OVER 52.5 | 31-26 | Win | 100 | 19 h 39 m | Show
The Vegas Raiders ran into a whipping wind storm in Cleveland last week and that resulted in a low scoring game that Vegas won, 16-6. Vegas held the Browns to just 223 total yards, 101 rushing and 122 passing. Despite the winds, there was only one turnover and that was by Cleveland. The Chargers lost a heartbreaker on the last play of the game last week at Denver, 30-31. Bad coaching seems to be the norm these days for the Chargers. LA had 82 plays to just 57 by Denver and had 485 yards to just 351. Chargers QB Justin Herbert is having a great season since taking over early in the year for Tyrod Taylor. Herbert threwe for 275 yards and has now eclipsed 1500 yards on the season. The Chargers have the 3rd best offense in the league, 6th in passing and 8th in rushing. The Raiders have the 8th overall offense, 7th in rushing and 10th in passing. Both teams not very good on the defensive side, with the Chargers ranked 18th and the Raiders 21st. Vegas has gone over in six of their seven games this season while the Chargers are 4-3 o/u on the season. I expect a lot of offense here in the Sofi Stadium. I'm taking OVER. |
|||||||
11-08-20 | Ravens v. Colts +1.5 | 24-10 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 35 m | Show
The Indianapolis Colts had little problems last week at Detroit, beating the Lions 41-21. The Colts didn't dominate the stats through, gaining just 40 more yard, 366-326. The Colts defense held the Lions to just 29 rushing yards and had a +2 turnover differential. The Ravens became the latest victim of the undefeated Steelers, losing to Pittsburgh 24-28. The loss came despite out gaining the Steelers, 457-221 yards. The top ranked rushing offense of the Ravens had 265 yards on the ground against the league's best defense. The difference was the four Ravens turnovers in this game. Even though Baltimore has the No 1 rushing offense, they come in 20th overall in total offense. The Colts have the 2nd overall defense and are 2nd against the rush. That should make for a great matchup here with the 2nd ranked rushing defense against the 1st ranked rushing offense. I look for the Colts to keep the Ravens under their season rushing average and put pressure on the passing game. I'll take the home team here. Play the Colts. |
|||||||
11-08-20 | Bears +6.5 v. Titans | 17-24 | Loss | -100 | 16 h 35 m | Show
The Bears coming off a loss at home to the Saints last week, 23-26. Their defense gave up more than their average on the road, allowing 122 yards to the Saints rushing. The defense saw its ranking drop 9th the week before to 12th. Tennessee might have had the biggest upset loss, a 20-31 setback at Cincinnadi as 7-point road favorites. The Titans outgained the Bengals 441-367 yards, yet trailed big most of the game and had only one turnover. The edge on offense goes to the Titans, 5th in offense and 5th in rushing yards. The Bears are a horid 29th in offense and last in rushing. The Bears have also had trouble scoring in the third quarter, just 7-points on the entire season. This is the Bears defense against the Titans offense. I'll take the points though in this game. Play Chicago. |
|||||||
11-08-20 | Seahawks -3 v. Bills | 34-44 | Loss | -100 | 16 h 34 m | Show
Seattle makes the cross country trip to take on the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo held on to beat the New England Patriots last week, 24-21, but didn't cover the 4-point line. Buffalo was slightly outplayed, but got the big plays when they needed them. Seattle once again in a shootout, beating San Francisco 37-27 as a 1-point favorite. The Seahawks and 49ers each had 35 yards and the lone advantage came in rushing yards where Seattle had 101 to the Niners 51. Seattle has the top rated offense in the league and is 1st in passing and 12th in rushing. Buffalo is 13th in the league, 9th in passing and 21st in rushing. Issue for the Seahawks is that they are dead last in overall defense, 32nds vs the pass and 7th vs the rush. Buffalo doesn't have the defense they had last year, now ranking 16th overall, 10th vs the pass. I haven't been all that impressed with the Buffalo offense the last four week. They have scored 16, 17, 18 and 24 points. That after scoring 27 or more points in their first four games this season. I'm sticking with the Seahawks here on Sunday and laying less than a field goal. Play Seattle. |
|||||||
11-08-20 | Seahawks v. Bills OVER 55 | 34-44 | Win | 100 | 16 h 33 m | Show

Issue for the Seahawks is that they are dead last in overall defense, 32nds vs the pass and 7th vs the rush. Buffalo doesn't have the defense they had last year, now ranking 16th overall, 10th vs the pass. These are two great over/under bets this year, between them they are 11-3 Over/Under. I look for another high scoring Seattle game this week. Take OVER. |
|||||||
11-07-20 | Clemson -5 v. Notre Dame | 40-47 | Loss | -103 | 30 h 27 m | Show
Huge game here on Saturday as No 1 Clemson takes on No 4 Notre Dame. Clemson had to come from a big deficit last week at home against Boston College to keep their perfect season alive. The problem for the Tigers is that they had to play without arguably the best QB in the country in Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence missed the BC game last week with a Covid positive test and is forced to miss this game also. No doubt that Clemson is the more talented team, but without Lawrence it levels the field and gives the Irish hopes here on Saturday. Look for the Tigers to lean heavily on RB Travis Etienne. These teams last met in 2018 with Clemson taking that game, 30-3 as a 11-point favorite. These are two of the best defensive teams in the nation, with Clemson coming in at 7th and Notre Dame 6th. I don't expect a shootout here today without Lawrence, but I do expect a Clemson win and cover. Play Clemson. |
|||||||
11-07-20 | Florida +3.5 v. Georgia | 44-28 | Win | 100 | 27 h 37 m | Show
Big SEC contest here on Saturday as No 8 Florida takes on No 5 Georgia. Loser of this game can likely kiss goodbye any playoff hopes. Georgia played a pretty uninspired game last week at Kentucky, winning 14-3. Florida QB Kyle Trask is tied in the SEC in touchdown passes and has at least four in every game. Georgia's excellent defense with be without some key cogs in safety Richard LeCounte, guard Jordan Davis and DE Julian Rochester. Should be an excellent game, but getting point with Trask and the Gators is too much to pass on. I expect a straight up win here today by Florida. |
|||||||
11-07-20 | Houston v. Cincinnati -13.5 | Top | 10-38 | Win | 100 | 27 h 33 m | Show |
Cincinnati is flexing its muscles in the AAC conference after dismantling Memphis last week, 49-10 as a 6.5 point favorite. The Bearcats had 513 yards to just 321 by Memphis. That included 242 yards rushing. Cincy improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play. Houston comes into today's contest at 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the AAC. Houston will have its hands full this week with a 15th ranked Cincinnati defense and top defense in the AAC. Cincinnati hitting on all cylinders right now and that's what I like. They have their sights set on a New Year's day bowl game and I expect another Bearcats blowout here today. Take Cincinnati. |
|||||||
11-07-20 | Michigan State v. Iowa -6.5 | 7-49 | Win | 100 | 23 h 59 m | Show
Just a couple of weeks into the Big 10 season and we have already seen some big upsets. One such happened last week as Michigan State overcame a seven-turnover opening game vs Rutgers to upset rival Michigan last week, 27-24 as a 24.5-point dog. Meanwhile, Iowa is 0-2 to start the season. However, they have lost both games by a combined margin of just five points. The Hawkeyes lost last week at home to Northwestern, 20-21 as a 2.5-point favorite. The defense has been very good, ranked 19th after two games. These teams have met just twice in the last five years and both those have been low scoring with a Michigan State win in 2017, 17-10 and also in 2015, 16-13. Not sure which Michigan State team we will see here. But, I do expect they might be celebrating that big upset win last week a bit too much and I look for Iowa to jump up and take their first win of the season here today. Play Iowa. |
|||||||
11-07-20 | West Virginia +6 v. Texas | 13-17 | Win | 100 | 23 h 58 m | Show
West Virginia brings one of the top ranked defenses in the country in to today's contest at Texas. The Mountaineers are ranked 4th overall in defense and holding teams under 100 yards rushing. Texas comes into today ranked 60th in defense, allowing 130 yards on the ground. West Virginia had little trouble with visiting Kansas State last week, winning 37-10 as a 4-point favorite. They held the Wildcats to just 41 yards rushing and 184 yards passing to go with three turnovers in the win. Texas won a shootout at Oklahoma State last week, 41-34. This was despite getting outgained in yardage, 287-530. So what was the difference? Four Ok State turnovers to none by Texas. With such a poor offensive showing the final score can be a bit deceiving. Don't expect that same thing to happen here today against this excellent West VA defense. Take the visitor, West Virginia. |
|||||||
11-07-20 | Arizona State +11.5 v. USC | 27-28 | Win | 100 | 23 h 56 m | Show
The PAC 12 is the last conference to return to action this week as Arizona State takes on USC from Los Angeles. Herm Edwards has done great things down in Tempe with the Sun Devils. In fact since Edwards took over the helm, he's 1-1 vs USC and both games decided by just eight points. Short six game schedule means every game is very important. ASU QB Jayden Daniels is back after a decent freshman season last year. He had 17 TD's and just 2 turnovers last year and is a legitimate dual threat. This game promises lots of offense with plenty of threats on both sides of the ball. Look for USC to throw and ASU to try and establish the run. This one should come right down to the end. I'm taking the points with the visitor. Play Arizona State. |
|||||||
11-06-20 | BYU -2.5 v. Boise State | 51-17 | Win | 100 | 79 h 43 m | Show
This will be the biggest and hardest test of the entire season for the BYU Cougars. The Cougars have pretty much cruised through their games thus far. BYU coming off a easy win over Western Michigan, 41-10. They have covered six of their seven games this year. They have also scored at least 41 points in all but one game, that being a 27-20 win over UTSA. Zach Wilson has been amazing for the Cougars at QB and is a leading candidate for the Heisman. This will be Wilson's toughest test to date. One thing to consider tonight, BYU has played 7 games and has their timing and all else in sync. Boise State has just one game as their season started last week. They could still be working the kinks out and may be facing this excellent BYU team a bit early in their season. Boise struggled against the Air Force rushing game last week, but then again who doesn't. Right now no one can stop Wilson and the BYU offense. I don't think Boise has the horses to do that either here tonight. I'm taking BYU in this one. |
|||||||
11-04-20 | Ohio v. Central Michigan +3 | 27-30 | Win | 100 | 28 h 43 m | Show
The MAC conference finally gets underway here on Wednesday with all the games in this conference tonight. It took until week 10 and November to get them going, but they are back. All teams will play a shortened 6-game schedule. Ohio Bobcats play at Central Michigan Chippewas tonight as this could be a preview of the Championship game. Ohio went to the Famous Idaho Bowl last year and beat Nevada, 30-21. Central lost its bowl game to San Diego State in the New Mexico Bowl, 11-48. Ohio has to replace their star QB in Nathan Rourke, but hopes the apple doesn't fall far from the tree with little brother Kurtis Rourke. Central Michigan looks to start red-shirt freshman at QB, Daniel Richardson. Great game here on Wednesday between two of the best in the MAC. I have these teams pretty equal, but with CMU at home and getting a point or two, I'll take the host. Play Central Michigan. |
|||||||
11-04-20 | Ball State +1 v. Miami-OH | 31-38 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 27 m | Show
MAC is back in action tonight with a shortened 6-week schedule. Ball State Cardinals take on the defending MAC Champions, Miami Ohio. Ball State finished last season at 5-7 despite having the conferences top offense. High hopes this year for Cardinals as they return 17 starters and have their eyes on a MAC Championship. The Cards have plenty of returners on offense, including QB Drew Pitt and RB Caleb Huntley. Miami also returns their QB in Brett Gabbert. Ball State has the talent and returning starters to win the MAC. I expect a close game, but I'm taking the road team. Play Ball State. |
|||||||
11-02-20 | Bucs v. Giants +13 | 25-23 | Win | 100 | 6 h 29 m | Show
Tampa Bay had little trouble with Las Vegas last week, winning 45-20. Though, 24 of those points came in a 4th quarter explosion. The Bucs ran for just 85 yards in the contest but threw for 369 yards and no turnovers. The Giants lost a tough battle last week at Philadelphia, 21-22 as 5-point dogs, though they did cover. The Giants out-rushed the Eagles, 160-96. However, the Eagles passed for 346 yards compared to just 165 for the Giants. What really hurt NY was their three turnovers. Tampa comes into this wee as the 15th ranked offense overall 20th on rush and 9th in passing. The Giants are second to last, 27th in rushing and 30th in passing. The Bucs have the third best defense in the league while the Giants aren't bad at 14th. Big game for the Bucs next week at home vs the Saints. Not sure how invested they will be past just winning here tonight. I'll take the points with the Giants and look for the cover. Play NY Giants. |
|||||||
11-01-20 | 49ers v. Seahawks OVER 53 | 27-37 | Win | 100 | 20 h 29 m | Show
The San Francisco 49ers went into Foxboro last week and demolished the Patriots, 33-6. The Niners had 467 yards to just 241 for the Pats. The Niners also rushed for 197 yards in the game. Seattle was in another shootout, but what's new. They lost at Arizona, 34-37, but really should have won if not for a penalty on a Arizona field goal that resulted in a first down and subsequent TD. Still, just another example of the Seahawks playing nail biting games that are high scoring. Seattle is now 4-1 O/U on the season and both home games have gone over. The Niners have seen two of their three road games go over this year. Seattle has the worst defense in the NFL overall and worst vs pass. However, Seattle does have the NFL's best offense and 2nd ranked passing offense. That combination does provide those high scoring games. I'm sticking with the formula for this one today. Take OVER. |
|||||||
11-01-20 | Saints v. Bears UNDER 43 | 26-23 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 29 m | Show
The New Orleans Saints survived last week against a pesky Carolina club, 27-24, though they didn't cover the 7-point line. The Saints outgained the Panthers 415-283 yards. Now they face the 8th ranked Bears defense. The Saints defense is actually rated higher than Chicago, 7th overall and 4th against the rush. Offensively, the Bears are 29th in the league and have the worst rushing game in the NFL (84 yards per game). The have also been intercepted nine times (28th in the league). Conditions not so great in Chicago on Sunday as it's expected to be around freezing with winds close to 20 mph. With the playing conditions and two very good defenses, I'm going UNDER. |
|||||||
11-01-20 | Steelers +4 v. Ravens | Top | 28-24 | Win | 100 | 92 h 9 m | Show |
Two AFC heavyweights square-off here on Sunday as the 6-0 Pittsburgh Steelers take on the 5-1 Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers definitely have Super Bowl thoughts at this point as they are scoring a lot of points and their defense has been great. The Steelers jumped out to a big lead last week at Tennessee and held on for a 27-24 win as a 1-point dog. The Steelers had 20 more plays than the Titans did but had three turnovers to none for Tennessee. The Steelers have the league's top rated overall defense and are 2nd against the rush and 6th against the pass. they also have the most QB sacks in the league. The Ravens had last week off. The Ravens have the 13th ranked defense and are 2nd in QB sacks. The offense has the league's top ranked rushing attack (164 yards per game) but overall is just 27th because of a 31st ranked passing attack. Now they face the leagues top ranked defense. The Ravens are laying points here on Sunday at last look about 3 1/2 to 4 points. I'll take the points with the best defense in the league and a pretty good offense too. Play Pittsburgh. |
|||||||
11-01-20 | Patriots v. Bills UNDER 41 | 21-24 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 4 m | Show
Buffalo won last week at the Jets, though they never came close to covering the spread. The Bills could manage just six field goals against a poor Jets team despite outgaining the Jets 422 yards to just 190. New England continues to sputter. After a poor showing and loss to the Broncos two weeks ago, they did it again last week at home vs the 49ers, losing 6-33. This despite Cam Newton being back for both games. The Patriots managed just 22 yards rushing and 147 yards passing to go with four turnovers. The Pats are in serious trouble as their offense has completely gone South. The Bills haven't clicked on offense for a few weeks now. I'm taking the UNDER. |
|||||||
11-01-20 | Vikings v. Packers UNDER 50 | 28-22 | Push | 0 | 17 h 3 m | Show
The Minnesota Vikings hope to welcome back star running back Dalvin Cook this week. Cook has missed the last couple of weeks with a groin injury and is a very important cog to this Vikings offense. The Packers could be without their star running back in Aaron Jones. Jones is nursing a calf injury and is currently questionable for this contest. The Vikings had a much needed week off after some lackluster performances. The Packers won last week at Houston, 35-20, just getting under the 55.5 total. Green Bay had only 379 yards vs 365 yards by Houston, yet outscored them by 15 points. This series has been an under series in recent years, with the last three going under and eight of the last 10 going under. The Packers have the 10th ranked defense in the league while Minnesota is 27th. Green Bay has the 8th ranked offense while Minnesota comes in at 14th. Even with cook back here today I'm expecting this game to come in under the 51 point total. Play UNDER. |
|||||||
11-01-20 | Colts v. Lions +3 | 41-21 | Loss | -115 | 17 h 3 m | Show
The Detroit Lions looked like dead ducks last week at Atlanta. The Falcons only needed to stay out of the endzone on a Todd Gurley run and they could run out the clock. But, the Lions let Gurley score as he tried to stay out but failed. That allowed the Lions to march down the field for the winning TD, 23-22. The stats were pretty much identical with the Lions have 386 yards and the Falcons 388. The Lions look to take that momentum here today against the Colts. The Colts had last week off to prepare for today's contest. The Colts have the league's second rated overall defense and are third against the rush and 2nd against the pass. They also lead the league in pass interceptions with 10. Detroit's defense isn't as good, ranked 22nd overall. Offensively, neither team in the top half of the league with the Colts ranked 19th and the Lions coming in at 22nd. I don't see this as a very high scoring game and as such points will be at a premium. I'm taking the dog in this one. Play Detroit. |
|||||||
11-01-20 | Raiders +2.5 v. Browns | 16-6 | Win | 100 | 17 h 3 m | Show
The Las Vegas Raiders couldn't overcome one of the better defenses in the league last week in Tampa Bay, losing at home 20-45. The Raiders were close, but a 24 point fourth quarter by the Bucs broke that one open. The Browns had themselves a shootout with their instrastate rivals, Cincinnati. The Browns scored late to win, 37-34. However, the win was costly as star WR Odell Beckham Jr was lost for the rest of the season due to an injury. The Raiders have already picked up a big win on the road when they went to KC and shocked the Chiefs. Vegas is ranked 9th in total offense and 7th in passing. The Browns are 19th offensively. Both teams in the bottom half of the league in defense. There looks to be light rain and winds over 20 mph in this one. I'm taking the dog here as I expect the Raiders to win outright. Play Las Vegas. |
|||||||
10-31-20 | Kansas State v. West Virginia -4 | 10-37 | Win | 100 | 23 h 36 m | Show
Kansas State Wildcats (4-1) travel to Morgantown to take on the 3-2 West Virginia Moutaineers. The Cats had an easy go of it last week vs Kansas, winning handily 55-14. The one area that K State need to improve is on penalties. They had penalty after penalty in last week's contest. That might not have hurt them against an overmatched Kansas team, but today they can ill afford to make those same mistakes. West Virginia leads the conference in total defense and has a very good rush defense. When the Mountaineers have held opponents to under 100 yards rushing they are 3-0. This game should be about the defenses and if West Virginia can put pressure on the K State rushing game, they win here today. Play West Virginia. |
|||||||
10-31-20 | Memphis v. Cincinnati -6.5 | 10-49 | Win | 100 | 23 h 36 m | Show
Cincinnati comes into Saturday's contest ranked 7th nationally and have their sights set on a New Year's day Six seeding. The Memphis Tigers beat Cincinnati twice last year, so there is revenge on the minds of the Cats here today. Memphis has racked-up 155 points in their four games this season. They will have a tough time here today against a very good Cincinnati defense that held a explosive SMU club to just 13 points last week in a 42-13 win. This rematch of last year's AAC Championship game will have Cincinnati all hyped for some revenge and to keep their New Year's Day date in tact. Take Cincinnati. |

10-31-20 | Coastal Carolina v. Georgia State +4 | 51-0 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 36 m | Show
Coastal Carolina won its first game as a ranked team last week over Georgia Southern, 28-14. But it was much more difficult than expected, as they were tied at the half 14-14 and struggled at times. Part of this is due to the fact that they played their first game without starting QB Grayson McCall. McCall missed the game with an upper body injury and is doubtful for today's contest. That's a huge loss for this Carolina team and while they got somewhat lucky last week to win, don't expect that here today. Carolina is 5-0 overall and ranked 20th nationally. Fred Payton looks to play his second game at QB here today. He did complete 15-of-28 passes for 252 yards last week. Georgia State upset Troy last week, 36-34 and improved to 2-2 on the season. They are led by Red-shirt freshman QB Cornelious Brown. Brown has been very impressive in his first year, completing 59.1% of his passes with 9 TD's and just 4 INT's. Georgia State has improved with each game this year. I expect Georgia State to give the Chants all they can handle here on Saturday. I'll take the few points at home today. Play Georgia State. |

10-31-20 | Georgia -17 v. Kentucky | 14-3 | Loss | -108 | 23 h 35 m | Show
Both teams looking to rebound after respective losses last time out. The Kentucky Wildcats dropped to 2-3 after losing to Missouri last week, 10-20. The Georgia Bulldogs got their fist loss of the year at 3-1 after getting bum rushed by Alabama, 24-31 two weeks ago. The week off should have done wonders for the Dogs to get that loss out of their head and get some rest for today's contest. The Dogs look to make it 11 straight wins over Kentucky here on Saturday. Kentucky will have to do better than what they did at Missouri, as the Wildcats held the ball for just 17 minutes of the entire game. The Cats are last in the SEC in passing offense with just 124 yards per game. Kentucky also has to get off to better starts, as their last three games they have had 65, 75 and 122 yards respectively. The Cats struggled offensively against a mediocre Missouri defense. What will they do here today against an aggressive and rested Georgia defense? I expect not much. Take Georgia. |

10-30-20 | Hawaii v. Wyoming UNDER 60.5 | 7-31 | Win | 100 | 8 h 34 m | Show
Mountain West finally got underway last week and both these teams had opposite opening days. Hawaii won it's opener at Fresno State, 34-19. Meanwhile Wyoming lost in OT to Nevada, 34-37. Hawaii will be a long way from its balmy weather as they play at ice-cold Laramie Wyoming tonight. Maybe that will cool down the Hawaii attack that put up 34 points at Fresno last week. Wyoming found itself down 6-28 last week before climbing back and forcing an OT at Nevada. Harsh conditions here isn't something Hawaii is used to playing in. With below freezing temps here tonight I don't see the same high scoring games we got last week. I'm taking, UNDER. |
|||||||
10-29-20 | Colorado State v. Fresno State OVER 59 | 17-38 | Loss | -109 | 25 h 47 m | Show
The Mountain West just began play last week, but Colorado State didn't play their first game until tonight. Steve Addazio will make his debut as the new HC of the Colorado State Rams. The Rams finished last year 4-8 on the season. Fresno State is 0-1 and under first year HC in Kalen DeBoer. Fresno lost last week at home to Hawaii, 19-34. The Rams have Patriock O'Brien back at QB. He threw for 13 TD's last and 7 INT's. Should see improved here tonight in the Fresno offense since they have that one game under their belt. Expect O'Brien to have success against a poor Fresno secondary. I like a lot of points in this one. Play OVER. |

10-29-20 | Falcons v. Panthers UNDER 51.5 | 25-17 | Win | 100 | 8 h 14 m | Show
Thursday night action has the Atlanta Falcons taking on the Carolina Panthers. The Falcons lost a heartbreaker last week at home to the Detroit Lions, 22-23. Todd Gurley's failure to keep out of the endzone late in the 4th quarter ended up losing the game for the Falcons. The Falcons and Lions went under their 54.5 point total. Carolina gave the Saints all it could handle last week, just coming up short in a 24-27 loss at the Super Dome. Carolina had just 283 totals yards in the game compared to the Saints 415 and ran 24 fewer plays. They did just get over the 49.5 point total. Two of the last three years and four of the last six has seen these two teams go UNDER the total. The Panthers have a decent defense, ranked 11th overall and 9th against the pass. The Panthers also have the 6th best sack total in the league with 32. The Falcons defense is next to last in the league, though they are ranked 6th against the rush. High total here tonight as oddsmakers have adjust up totals since a lot of early week games have gone over. I look for this game to be not quite that high, so I'm playing UNDER. |

10-29-20 | South Alabama v. Georgia Southern UNDER 51.5 | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 19 h 22 m | Show
South Alabama Jaguars are 3-2 on the season but are a perfect 2-0 in Sun Belt play after beating Louisiana Monroe last week, 38-14. Tonight they get on the national stage with a television game at Georgia Southern in Statesboror, GA. Ga Southern lost to ranked Coastal Carolina last week, 14-28 to fall to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in Sun Belt action. Southern was tied 14-14 at the half and played a Coastal team without its starting QB, but could not do anything offensively in the second half. This Ga Southern team has a fast defense that is led by some very good linebackers and a very good pass rush. They rank 13th nationally in rushing defense and yards per carry. Georgia Southern drops in class this week against South Alabama. South Alabama will have lots of trouble moving the ball against this very good Southern defense that gave Coastal Carolina fits last week. I'm taking the UNDER here tonight as I expect South Alabama to be held in check. Play UNDER. |

10-28-20 | Barcelona FC v. Juventus | 2-0 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 48 m | Show
Marquee matchup here in the Champions League for Wednesday as Barcelona takes on Juventus. Looks like Juventus will be once again without superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who is awaiting further testing after a positive Covid test. Both teams won their opening games of the Champions League. Barcelona will be without some key gogs here on defense today including Coutinho, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Gerard Pique. Even without their superstar, Juventus has more talent up and down the lineup here. I'm going to take the Italian team in this one. Play Juventus. |

10-28-20 | Nottingham v. Luton Town +243 | 1-1 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 32 m | Show
EFL Championship play here on Wednesday as Nottingham takes on Luton Town. Luton won their last game, a 1-0 victory at Sheffield. Nottingham came away with a draw in their last contest 1-1 with Derby County. Luton will be without James Collins, forced to sitout with Covid positive test result. Nottingham is facing the real prospect of relegation as they sit just one-point above that line at present. These teams are fairly even, but for me I'm giving the edge here to the hosts. At +2.30 on the money line, the host is worth a play here today. Play Luton Town. |
|||||||
10-28-20 | Chelsea v. Krasnodar UNDER 3 | 4-0 | Loss | -120 | 4 h 42 m | Show
Premier League Champion Chelsea makes the road trip to Russia here today to take on Krasnodar in the Champions League play. Krasnodar finished third in their Russian Premier league last season. This year the host is just in 8th place as they off to a slow start. Krasnodar is coming off a 1-1 draw and now undefeated in their three Champions League games. Chelsea coming off a 0-0 draw against Manchester United. Five of their last seven games have resulted in draws. Their alignment against United was great at keeping Manchester off the board, but also blunted their own attack. Chelsea the big favorite here, but they have not played up to standards of late. I'm looking for a low scoring contest here on Wednesday. PLAY UNDER. |

10-27-20 | Rays +130 v. Dodgers | Top | 1-3 | Loss | -100 | 21 h 4 m | Show |
The Dodgers on the edge of winning their first World Series since 1988. They showed little effects of that horrid loss in game four with a bounce back to take game five and a 3-2 lead. Blake Snell will try to keep the Rays in the series tonight. Snell did well in his start against the Dodgers, going 4 2/3 innings and allowing two hits and two runs. Tony Gonsolin will start here tonight for the Dodgers. Gonsolin started against Snell in their last matchup with Gonsolin going just 1 1/3 innings, allowing one hit and one run. I have a big edge in starters here tonight to the Rays. Yet they are still a dog. I'll take that dog price. Play Tampa Bay. |
|||||||
10-26-20 | Bears +6 v. Rams | 10-24 | Loss | -109 | 23 h 27 m | Show
The 5-1 Chicago Bears take on the 4-2 LA Rams on Monday Night football from Los Angeles. Contrast of two teams here on Monday as the Bears get it done with their defense first and then just enough of the offense to get them the wins. The Rams offense has been hitting on all cylinders, that is until last week when they went to San Francisco and couldn't do much with the ball.The defense has been hard on opposing QB's with seven sacks and 14 QB hits this year. The offense has 43 points in their last two games, nothing great, but enough to get things done with the defense. The Rams are 2-0 at SoFi Stadium and outscored opponents 37-26. I like defense and the Bears have one of the best this year. I expect the Rams to continue to struggle against good defenses as they did last week. I'll take the visitor here tonight plus the points. |
