Taking the BENGALS. Said to grab this on Look Ahead Lines on Sunday night. Niners short week and Cincy off a bye week. Add in a Sam Darnold start - again, on a short week. Not a good spot for San Fran. ( I do have a Darnold Comeback POY ticket) I did like Cincy more before the line move. But still think this worth it.  Taking the SEAHAWKS. Back up QB for Browns. The Browns defense looked real human last week. They been great all season though. Seattle a little banged up on offense, but it is tough winning on the road in the NFL, especially in b2b weeks with a backup QB. Add in how they also got a little bit of luck in the win over the Colts, plus, that Niners win. Not this time. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE SEAHAWKS 

Taking DALLAS. Off a bye week, rested, a very good defense. And the Rams off a game vs the physical Steelers. Nothing else needs to be said. 4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

  Taking the PATRIOTS. So, Miami was a 1pt favorite when these guys played earlier. Now double digits. And this line has dropped, and will probably settle around 9-10. Easy to think the Dolphins just bounce back after getting manhandled by Philly. I am fading that and grabbing the ugly dog though. Achene is out. Mosart is banged up. Hill is banged up. The trends all  point to Miami. I think NE stays within the number. 4* Money Maker NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 

Taking ARIZONA here. Both teams off bye weeks. Can't really bash either team. For me though - give me the home dogs. Oregon State, and I have said this when the played Washington State. Not the team to play when a road favorite. They are the hunters, not the hunted. Home dog please, outright maybe? 4* Money Maker ARIZONA

Taking OHIO STATE. Wisconsin offense will not score 14 points. Ohio State defense is the real deal. They gave up 17 points Maryland. At least the Terps have a legit College QB. 12-7-14-10-7-3. Please tell me how the Badgers score more than 14? They don't. Buckeyes put up 30+ here. 4* Money Maker OHIO STATE

Taking the SOONERS. 18 straight over Kansas. Yeah. A nail-biter last week with UCF missing a 2pt conversion. But I will give Oklahoma a pass there as they were probably still sleep walking after their big win over Texas. Nothing like a near upset as a huge favorite to get your mind focused on a team that took all your punches last year in a 52-42 game. I've been down on the Sooners. Thought they were going to be bad - yeah. Way off there. Grab some Dillon Gabriel Heisman tickets. These guys can run it and get to the playoffs undefeated. 19 TDs 3 INTs and 5 more TDs on the ground. The offense is good. The defense improved. Kansas gave up 554 yards to Ok State, and I had the Jayhawks there! How about 660 to Texas?! This offense is better. Edge Sooner defense. Taking FLORIDA STATE. I would lay 24 here. How is Wake scoring more than 14 points? They aren't. They have score 21 vs Pitt, 13 vs Virginia Tech 12 vs Clemson 16 vs Georgia Tech. Those are scores vs ACC schools. I will not put Old Dom, Vandy and Elon even in bottom tier ACC. Let's add in that Wake has won 3 in a row in this series. Taking the AGGIES. You get down 17-0  on the road in the first 5 minutes off a game in the SEC, you are going to have problems no matter what team name you have on your jersey. A&M got back to 24-21 but ended up losing 30-24. Rattler passed for 168 yards and 0 TDs. Payback. Yes. Huge number for an Aggies offense that hasn't shown to be all that explosive except vs ULM (47) and New Mexico (52). But this Carolina defense IS that bad. 34-41-41-30 points allowed their last 4 SEC games. Road wise - 34-12 losers Missouri - 41-21 losers at Tennessee - 24-14 losers at Georgia.  129th in passing D. A&M is a Top 45 passing offense. Aggies defense will sack Rattler 5 times today. I'm calling at least 3 TOs and 40 point outburst here. 4* Money Maker TEXAS A&M 

Taking VIRGINIA TECH. Small fave TV game, the home crowd will be rocking. Hokies looking for revenge off last years lost. The Cuse - really. These guys, on the road? Yes VT is a step down from Florida State and NC who just blasted the Orange 81-10. Clemson rolled them 31-13. That is 111-23 last 3 games. We don't need a 20pt win here. A field goal gets a cover, but I think it won't come down to that. Both teams off their byes, but this is a spot Virginia Tech must have if they have any thought of playing in a bowl game. 4* Money Maker VIRGINIA TECH

Taking LIBERTY. A perfect 7-0 SU and 5-2 ATS, the Flames looking to keep it going vs WKU. Let's start with WKU who lost for us last week. Letting Jacksonville State come back and win after being up in the 4th. Bad. Maybe I shouldn't be shocked considering they were playing the 4th road game in 5 weeks. They will be pumped up for the conference leaders. The line has been moving as it appears the Flames are getting a lot of love. Where Western was picked off before this game, Liberty was strong enough to pull out the win, holding Mid Tenn scoreless for the 4th quarter. Just don't think the Hilltoppers defense can slow the rush attack tonight. 4* Money Maker LIBERTY

Taking the AGGIES. I like me some Jerry Kill. Knocking on the door to their 5.5 win total, New Mexico State has won 3 in a row. On the flip side, La Tech has lost 2 straight, and 4 of 5. Some growing pains with a new HC and a new offense being put into place. You see a 3-5 team favored over 5-3, and think you should be good with the home favorite. There will be some points put up here, maybe lean a little over. But I think that the Aggies, even with their wins being against the lower tier teams, are the better team right now. They have a 3 pt loss on a last second FG at Hawaii (were leading 17-10 with 7 minutes left in game. 4They trailed Liberty, a pretty decent program 23-17 at the half on the road before getting shut out in the 2nd half. And the lost an insane back and forth game vs Umass that went for 7 TDs in the 4th quarter! If you want to go ML, I won't stand in your way. 4* Money Maker NEW MEXICO STATE

Taking the UNDER. What can we say here? Niners off a loss? Come on. They allowed 19 points. But, since it was to basically the 4th string QB, maybe they are extra angry. They are still a little banged up on offense. Vikings have gone 5-1 to the Under in their games. San Fran is more an over team because of the playmakers on offense. Going UNDER the total here. Steelers off a bye and Tomlin shines in this spot as I saw somewhere he is 12-4. Wow. (I do like the Rams -3 here). Give me the under though. You know Pitt will bring defense. I don't think the offense gets on track from a week off. Rams a little banged up in the backfield with their RBs. That can just let the Pitt pass rush come with their ears pinned back. I think its ugly. 4* Total Money UNDER Steelers/ Rams

 Taking TAMPA. And why wouldn't we have them here? 10/1 to win the South. Over the win total. Young QB on the road vs a good defense. Losing to the Lions and Eagles. Acceptable. Those are good squads. The Falcons are not. I mentioned Ridder on the road. Basically a rookie. His two road starts, at Lions, vs Jags in London. 43-13 combined losers. Again. Taking FLORIDA STATE. Sorry Duke. This is Florida State, not Uconn. Tough spot to play. I know the defense is pretty solid. But the Seminoles seem to be on a mission. Possible freshman QB for Duke. Or a less than 100% starter. Either way, not what you want in this spot. FSU defense isn't a bad unit. This is a good spot vs an offense that should struggle. Should be a 20+ win here with Wake on deck. Not a team that will steal their focus. 21-0 SU run for the Noles over Duke. 4* Money Maker FLORIDA STATE

Taking MICHIGAN. Nothing can stop the Wolverines other than the NCAA with their nonsense. This is the best team in college right now. Sparty trying to get out of playing the game like the big babies they are. This game is going to be like every other Michigan game this season. Michigan defense mauls overwhelmed offense and allows 6-13 points. Wolverine offense churns through winded defense on the ground and QB picks apart a terrible Michigan State secondary for 3 TDs. Taking UTSA. Ah. These guys, again. Had them to open the season 3 straight. And got 3 straight ATS losses. They did get us a cover vs Temple. I am back on them here. Now. I do like Tom Herman. I said in the preview shows that I like both of these teams Over their win totals. Herman as a home dog. Oh. Tough going against him. But - Roadrunners QB Harris seems to be back on track. That should be enough to get us the cover. 4* Money Maker UTSA

 Going UNDER the total. Now. The last 4 between these two havs seen total scores of 43-27-40-33. Oklahoma State seems to have found a QB. And here I thought Gundy would be retiring after this season. Now a couple wins, and some scoring39/29 the last 2 games. I believe a bit in the OkST defense - Mountaineers thought they stole one wih a TD with 12 seconds left only to take the Zeros on the clock L on a Hail Mary tipped ball TD. Ouch. That game was 10-7 with 30 second left in the half. 6 TDs in the 4th. Wow. I expect West Va to get the defense back on track. 21 @ TCU 13 to Texas Tech 6 to Pitt. Taking the UNDER. Yes. South Florida has allowed 56 in back to back losses (FAU + UAB). 30 to Navy. 29 to Rice and 24 to Florida A&M. How did Bama score only 17? Now - these guys haven't played sice 2019. And boy oh boy. 70-68-57-69.. They would put some points up. I just don't think we get that this afternoon. Huskies with 38 + 31 in their last 2 games. But 7-17-14-14 to start the season. Obviously they are somewhere in the middle. I am thinking 29-20 type of battle today. 4* Total Money UNDER South Florida/ UConn

Taking ALABAMA. Nope. Not buying Milton or the Vols. Revenge spot - Tennessee took the goal posts out of the stadium! GOAT COACH is like Jordan. "I took that personally' Any type of motivation works. Honestly. I am shocked this is a single digit spread - These guys aren't Texas. And they sure aren't Georgia. 4* Money Maker ALABAMA 

Taking PENN STATE. I've said this about a couple other schools + coaches (looking at you Texas + Texas A&M) - when will you win a game vs a big time team. I think Franklin has the talent to get it done here. Both defenses pretty solid. But I something tells me that Penn State gets over the hump today. I will gladly take any points, but I will also grab a little bit of the ML here also. 4* Money Maker PENN STATE

Going UNDER the total here. Both defense are at the top of the boards. PSU is 4-2 to the Over while OSU is 1-5 to the Under. We have seen Franklin punch in some scores late. Boosters love it, he gets some extra NIL money for his players. But there will be no running up of scores here. I do like Penn State with the points. But my top play of the day will be here on the UNDER. I have 2 QBs who I do not really love. They are young. We saw OSU vs a real team in ND and the struggle on offense. Penn State defense just as capable, even here on the road. Their offense leave a bit to be desired for me. Just look at his numbers. 300+ opening night. Has went over 200 twice (204 -209) This isn't a pass happy bunch. This is a grind it, move the clock offense. McCord chucks it, but - we saw him held in check vs the Irish. I think this winner doesn't top 24 points. 4* Total Money UNDER Penn State/ Ohio State

Going UNDER the total here. We have been riding Saints under since Game 1. New Orleans with 12 straight regular season games not getting to the 40 point mark. All 6 games under this year. 12 in a row under. Good defense. Bad offense. Jags with in off a tough division game, and back to back weeks in London. Plus, a banged up QB. Leaning Saints as a side here too. 4* Total Money UNDER Jags/ Saints 

Taking the SAINTS. Also on the Under here, something we have been on since Week 1 in these Saints games. Jags short week, banged up Lawrence. Just a bad spot vs a good defense. 4* Money Maker NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Taking WKU. Don't be fooled by Jacksonville State and their 5-2 record. Miracle win vs UTEP. East Tenn St?  They were 20pt faves. They were down 30-9 to Coastal Carolina and didn't cover. Liberty pulled away from them for an 18pt win. Hilltoppers are better than both of those programs. QB Reed is an absolute beast. Guy has 14 TDs and 3 INTs and isn't even playing that well. Going to find out how good this defense is against a good QB. I don't think they stay within 10. 4* Money Maker WESTERN KENTUCKY

4* Total Money UNDER Dallas/ Chargers

Taking DALLAS. This is an absolute MUST win for the 'Boys. You get destroyed on SNF. Now on MNF you get to face your old OC - Man. You faced this cat and his offense in practice for years. You should know every aspect of what he expects. The Dallas defense is their strength. I have said multiple times the offense is a work in progress. But I think they get up for their new OC and, more importantly to show a little pride for themselves. So- one of the worse losses ever for Dallas. Chargers off their bye week, but injury concerns for Herbert's hand and Ekeler's ankle. Cowboys defense far superior to Chargers. We find out what kind of heart Dak has tonight after that 3 INT game.  4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

 Taking the RAMS. These guys are 2-3 and have played at Seattle, Indy and Cincy. Home vs Philly and San Fran. Cards are, I still think, one of the worse teams in the league. I have an under 3.5 ticket on them for the season. We saw the Rams go on the road after the Niners game and play Cincy to a 19-16 game. The same Cincy team on the road dropped 34 with no Tee Higgins. Cards are bad. Kupp working his way back. Stafford has found something with Nacua. Am I crazy thinking the Rams put up 30+ this afternoon? I'll take a 10pt win, but I think we clear that by another TD. 4* Money Maker LA RAMS

Taking TAMPA. We have been on these guys most of the year. I said back in August, take some Tampa 10/1 to win the South, on the free pick preview shows, and on Mid Day Money. Bucs have a defense. Lions, as I have said before. The hyped team coming into the season. Not buying them as a favorite vs a team with a good defense. Beating up on Carolina. Come on. Beating the Falcons at home with basically a rookie QB. Please. Green Bay? That win is looking a little suspect and that is coming from the guy who has GB to win the North tickets! Taking the COLTS. Just a good spot here. Jags back from their 2 games in England, and a big win over the Bills. Had Indy back on Week 1. Couldn't punch it in from the 1. Richardson was knocked out, and, hurt again, will not be playing. But we know have a pretty solid 2 headed rush attack. A little ML might be worth a shot here also.  5* Best Bet INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 

Taking the SEAHAWKS. Off a bye week and will be ready for Cincy. I expect a run heavy game after Arizona gashed this defense. (Also on the UNDER). Burrow 3 TDs last week, 2 on the season before facing the Cards. Seattle defense was insane vs Giants. I think Cincy is better. But I do have doubts about their OL. Outright win here for the road team. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

4* Total Money UNDER Saints/ Texans 

Taking MIAMI. How the heck will Carolina stay within 20 here? I know the line has moved to about 2 TDs since I posted this. I still will lay it. Carolina was down 28-7, hit a late FG at the half 28-10. It's 35-10 42-17. Garbage TD with 2 minutes left for the 42-24 final. Young is young, so expect another INT or 2. Miami's explosiveness on offense will get them a lead, and means they can come hair on fire after the QB and not worry about any running game. Miami toyed with the Giants and won 31-16 giving up 3 FGs and no TDs. Try on a 102 INT return. This should be something along the lines of 38-13. 8* Sure Shot MIAMI DOLPHINS

 Taking OREGON STATE. Had UCLA last week - a nice upset winner to some. But, when I see the ol' unranked over ranked, it is not an upset. Bruins defense is solid. But on the road, with a young QB. Eh. Give me the home team. 14-7 in Utah. Now Beavers defense isn't Utah level, but, this is a tough road spot. Home team gets it done by double digits. 4* Money Maker OREGON STATE 

 Taking AUBURN here. Good spot for the road dog here. LSU with big, bad, Bama on deck. A defense that has given up 39 - 49 - 34 in it's last 3 SEC games. Just what a struggling offense needs. Auburn is week on offense. No doubt about it. 14 at Cal. 10 vs A&M. But they put a 20 spot on Georgia. And no matter what that offense looked like before thney scored 50 or whatever last week, the defense was always there for the Bulldogs. An extra week for Auburn to get a little magic ready. 4* Money Maker AUBURN TIGERS  

  Taking WASHINGTON, will go ML. I think this game is an absolute shootout. Do I like the over, yes - did I play on it, no. LY this total was 73.5, 37-34 Washington wins at Oregon as 12pt dogs.. Ducks with the better defense - but honestly, I just think Pennix is better than Nix and that is the difference maker here. Both teams off bye weeks. Both teams really not tested yet. Vols off their bye week and A&M just lost their Super Bowl to Alabama. Maybe I just fall in love with the Aggies recruiting classes. I have said multiple times on Mid Day Money how they just get guy after guy in the program. Jimbo needs this win. They have to get off the mat and beat Milton + company here. Taking the RAMS here. Another good number as we catch Philly heading cross country, and off an OT game. A game they probably should have lost. I know the Iggles haven't played their best - and yet they still got me last time on the road Monday night in Tampa. But this is a little better team - which is tough for me to type in here. I thought this Rams bunch was left for dead. But the offense hasn't been all that bad. The defense shows up. Line has moved from 6 down to 4. I still like anything more than a FG. Eagles defense gives up passing yards and that is how LA moves the ball. Philly has been playing with fire most of the season in these one score wins. It will catch up to them. Is it an outright win for the Rams here? Maybe. But the points will get us the cover and a W either way. 4* Money Maker LA RAMS

Going UNDER the total here. I will also be taking the Lions in this one, if by some chance this turns into an absolute blow out. I think Detroit score 27-31 here. Where is the Carolina offense coming from? Bryce Young is the worse QB in the league. 1 TD drive not in garbage time. Dalton? Come on. Look - for all the hype on Detroit, the defense has been really good and is not getting a lot of credit. Taking MIAMI. Normally I am one to say-- Yeah. So and so looked so bad we have to come back and grab them. Well - I did that after NY was destroyed on a SNF vs the Cowboys. They got demolished in the first half before coming back to beat Arizona. It is another thing saying lets take them against Miami. Dolphins off their own bad loss getting spanked by their rivals in Buffalo. Huge get back on the right track spot here. It might be a square look. But I cannot see NYG staying with, or slowing down Miami. Giants D giving up 30ppg. Offense has scored 3 vs Seattle at home, 0 vs Dallas at home - 12 in San Fran.. - and that 31 piece vs Arizona. Where do you think Miami defense falls in with those 4 teams? This should be 38-16. Miami should win this one by 20+ this afternoon. 4* Money Maker MIAMI DOLPHINS

Taking the RAVENS. I know I am suppose to 'buy low' here on the Steelers. Getting beat by the Texans on the road! But let's look at this team. Did nothing vs the Niners. Beat Cleveland in a game, honestly, they should have lost. Couple defensive TDs to start and end their scoring. And 1 big pass play. Do we chalk that up to the Browns being the Browns? Because the Ravens aren't the Browns. Yes. These games have been dog fights 16-13 - 16-14 - 16-13 OT - 20-19 - 19-14 the last 5 in the series. Tyler Hunter the started the last 3 games. Lamar Jackson for 1 - and, hello - RG3!! - Big Ben was playing for Pitt in 3 of the 5. DIFFERENT TEAMS. Lamar behind center is a difference maker. Taking MICHIGAN. We had these guys last week, will come back again tonight. I think these guys and Texas are right now the top 2 teams in all of CFB. The defense is insane. Look at these score. 45-7 -- 31-7 -- 31-6 -- 35-7 -- 30-3.. Until last week, the offense wasn't even aware they were playing in games. Talk about going through the motions. Indiana up next so it is not like they will be extra resting guys for Ohio State or Penn State. Minnesota will turn the ball of 4 or 5 times here. Wolverines have allowed 1 opposing team 1st offense TD this year. If Minny is within 24-28 points here I'll be surprised. 4* Money Maker MICHIGAN

Taking NORTH CAROLINA. Ah the 'Cuse. Let us down here last week. But that is not why we fade them  here because after they get off to their fast starts, they fade. And fade and fade. Taking TEXAS A&M. We have had these a few times already this season (cashed them last week!) and will take the OUTRIGHT win tonight. I don't think that Alabama is done the way they are being made out to be. But they are ripe for some take downs. Tide 2-7 ATS run as road faves. The defense has been solid for them. But I like t his Aggies bunch to Texas. Loads of talent. Can they click on all gears here? I think so. Nearly pulled out the upset last year. Got Bama the year before. Taking UTSA. Roadrunners? More like roadkill for me. Had UTSA in their first 3 games and went a reverse perfect 0-3 ATS. QB who has been here for nearly a decade, off a bye week, we presume near 100%. If you can't blast this Temple program by 2TDs - yikes. 36-7 losers at Rutgers - 41-7 losers to Miami Florida - 48-26 losers at Tulsa. UTSA should by accident get to 30 something points. Time to get the season on track and it starts here in AAC play. 4* Money Maker UTSA

Taking TEXAS. Now. Am I expecting another 49-0 whipping here of the Sooners. No. But, having Gabriel under center will most likely put some points on the board for Oklahoma. That being said. I think Texas is the real deal. Ewers is solid at QB. The WR + RB spots are solid. The defense, I think that is what separates the two teams. 4* Money Maker TEXAS LONGHORNS

Taking KANSAS STATE. You know I like this guys. Only loss on that 61 yard FG at Missouri. I think they run the Cowboys out of their own building tonight. 48-0 last year. Revenge for Oklahoma State? Come on. They finally think they have a QB. Does a bye week help this offense. They lose so much from last year. I think Gundy hangs it up after this disaster of a season. They beat Central Arkansas and Arizona State. Arizona State. Only win over Southern Utah. South Alabama (who we had) ran these guys out of here 33-7. It was 23-0 in the 4th quarter! Kansas State puts points on the board. Home, away. Doesn't matter. 16-6 ATS run for K-State as favorites. 4* Money Maker KANSAS STATE

Going UNDER the total here. Not going to overthink this one. Chiefs defense has been under rated this season, and really in my eyes, last year as well. Everyone thinks points points points because of Mahomes. The defense is solid. This Jets offense is just offensive. The only way this goes over is if KC just unloads like last week and drops a 44 on their own. KC FH should probably be on your ticket tonight also. Could be 30-0 and then the run game sweats begin. 4* Total Money UNDER Chiefs/ Jets

4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Going UNDER. I have what I think is a top defense in Dallas that is off a terrible game in Arizona. I have a defense in the Patriots, that is probably a top half of the league unit. We won't get into all the Dallas stuff. Let's just look at New England. Week 1 vs Philly. Down 16-0 off turnovers, they then hold Philly to just 3 FGs. 4 FGs for the defense and 12 points. Against Miami - the high flying Dolphins, They picked off Tua and did a pretty could job allowing 24 points vs a team that rocked the Chargers with big plays and has recently dropped a 70 spot. Jets game. Well - its the Jets. Now they get a Dallas offense who, like I have said in Mid Day Money - what is it? We haven't seen it yet. You didn't need it vs the Giants and Jets. You needed it in Arizona and it failed on a 4th down inside the 10, and then kicked a FG inside the 10, then threw a pick inside the 10 (they might have been within the 15, I don't remember) I do know the offense has not looked sharp. 4* Total Money UNDER Patriots/ Dallas

Going UNDER the total. Have loved these Saints unders all season. 9 straight games holding teams to less than 20 points. Line it up again. New Orleans does have a solid defense. Should be able to contain Baker and the Tampa offense. Saints with Winston behind center? Not that he was the reason they blew a 17-0 lead to lose 18-7 - but there is a reason Tampa let him go. Big arm, sure. 30 TDs yep, 30 INTs yep. You would think the Bucs would have him scouted pretty good here. Under Under Under. 4* Total Money UNDER Bucs/ Saints

Going UNDER the total. Nothing negative to be said about the Browns defense. At the top, or right near the top in all defensive stats. Steelers with a couple fluke defensive TDs and a 70 yard bomb. Heck. Give them one of those and this defense is giving up less than 10ppg. I wasn't sold on Baltimore coming into the season - and from what I have seen so far, I was right. 4* Total Money UNDER Ravens/ Browns

Taking the BROWNS. Well - you know we have the UNDER in this one and that is why we are also on the small home dog here. This defense is really good. Jim Schwartz doing a super job so far. The Chubb loss is bad, but the OL is good enough to carry a decent RB. Watson needs to just keep improving. I think people forget this cat was out basically a year and a half. You play in a monsoon, face the Steelers and Titans, who, last time I checked are defense first squads. I think they win the division. Burrow is a close to be doing for an extended period of time. Steelers to be are not there yet. Ravens look vulnerable. The offense is changing. The defense. Eh. I mean the bend don't break broke. You are lucky you are 2-1 not 1-2. You have a banged up OL coming to the Dawg Pound - even if their 2 starters are back, how effective will they be? 4* Money Maker CLEVELAND BROWNS

Going UNDER the total. Two teams I will look to keep fading offenses with. Burrow didn't look all that great on Monday night. Now, a short week. Still hobbled. Tennessee. What is there to say? You draft Willis - You draft Levis. You still trot out the old guy. Guess you get some AARP discount or something for this QB-RB-WR combo of veterans. Both teams had the same 27-24 games in Week 2. But the other 4 games. Slop fests. I love that the Titans are 1-9 their last 10, so of course that peeks my interest. But, first team to 20 wins. 4* Total Money UNDER Bengals/ Titans 

Taking WASHINGTON and the Pennix show. Get those Heisman Futures. This kid is crushing it. I thought he would be good last year. He has been great so far this year. 43ppg last 16 games. I think they put up 50-60 tonight. Oregon on deck for Washington which does make this a bit tricky laying the big number. But looking at this series history. Arizona - Zero Defense. 49 - (21) -44 - 51- 38 - 49 points allowed to Washington. QBs change. Coaches Change. Apparently not playing defense doesn't. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON

Taking ALABAMA. Oh the demise of Bama was short lived. Look. We know what Alabama is and isn't. The QB play has been a bit weak. The defense is still a defense. But Mississippi State. How about 78 points their last 2 games vs South Carolina and LSU. Heck - you gave up 24 to Arizona and barely escaped scoring 31 getting turnovers. I thought about the Under in this one because Bama will be running the ball and MSU has gotten away from really throwing it a ton. Bama by about 20 tonight. 4* Money Maker ALABAMA

Taking GEORGIA. This is flat out fade of Auburn offense. Holy Cow how terrible. Forget about Samford and UMass. These guys scored 14 vs Cal (had Cal and they should have won outright) and 10 vs A&M (had A&M last week too) Forget about Georgia 'not covering.' Laying 51-42-26-39. Come on. This is a team that is looking for 3 straight championship. They don't have time to run it up in September vs joke programs. Now we get a road trip to an SEC team. Now we see some fancy offense. Or at least them covering. Samford Cal and UMass aren't great offenses. Aggies put up 27. I think the Bulldogs get at least 34. And Auburn, tops I think 17. 4* Money Maker GEORGIA BULLDOGS

Taking MICHIGAN. 31-7 -- 31-6 -- 35-7 -- 30-3 --- Those are the Wolverines scores this season. Is Nebraska better than Rutgers Bowling Green UNLV ECU. I don't know about Rutgers, but the other 3 sure. Problem is that even here at home, I can't trust Nebraska. Saw them vs 2 decent teams in Colorado and Minnesota (and you know how I feel about Colorado) and they turned the ball left and right. What will you do against this defense? I think Wolverines Defense contributes 14/17 points based on TOs and field position. 4* Money Maker MICHIGAN 

Taking USC. How many times on Mid Day Money have I said this about Colorado. They Can Not Tackle. They Have No OL. They Will Get Exposed Vs Top Teams. I don't care how bac you think the Trojan defense is. It is not Colorado State or TCU bad. This offense will maul the Buffs defense. This game, like I said last week, should be a 30 point win. 4* Money Maker USC

Taking A&M. Yeah. We have some QB concerns for the Aggies, but I am still believing. We get Max Johnson who tossed 27 TD passes at LSU a couple years ago and has some A&M starts under his belt. Or we get Weigman, who beat out Johnson for starter and has looked good when on the field this year and last. I'll tell you what, not believing much in the Razorbacks. Up 14-0 on BYU (we had BYU), lose outright 38-31 at home blowing that lead and another 10pt lead later in the game. Huge last second loser at LSU. Last second FG with 5 seconds left, 34-31. I am high on A*M and think they win this one by 10. 4* Money Maker TEXAS A&M 

Taking PENN STATE. Will lay the big number here. Would be over and honestly, probably wouldn't be looking at this if Northwestern would have lost last week. But - you trail in the 4th quarter 31-10 and come back and win 37-34, yeah, give me PSU. This is Wildcats team that scored 14 vs Duke and 7 vs Rutgers. Penn State defense won't allow 10 points here. UMass on deck so no look ahead to Ohio State. Time to pummel a Big 10 team - and 61-13 vs Iowa and Illinois show us that PSU can put up some points. Backdoor cover is a slight concern. But, I think that PSU defense is going to force turnovers, get us some short fields. I think this is a 45-13 game. 4* Money Maker PENN STATE

Taking the PACKERS. Again. Yes. You know GB & TB are basically the official Mid Day Money NFL Teams this year. Short week for these rivals. Huge comeback from 17-0 for a 18-17 win for the Pack. Injury holdouts flipped that line from GB faves to dogs. Maybe saving them for this bigger division matchup? As I have said before - I like Love, the coach, the defense - everything about GB. Lions beat basically a rookie QB in a road start. Now they face a team that had basically owned them, and now the Packers can play the old revenge card the way last season ended. 4* Money Maker GREEN BAY PACKERS

Taking the RAMS.-- Talked about this on Look Ahead Lines Sunday.... We had Cincy Sunday (and under).. I thought Burrow still looks hurt. Didn't look good in Week 1, just as bad in Week 2... Said grab this.. Now it is 3! .. Unbelievable.. Still would take the Rams because I think Cincy absolutely stinks. 4* Money Maker LA RAMS 

Taking TAMPA. I have said these guys, and probably the Packers, official Mid Day Money teams of the season. Home dog on MNF. Sign me up. Eagles 4-10 ATS last 14 as road favorites. I stole a half point in Week 1 with Philly on the road. They needed 4 TOs last week to beat Minny. Tampa is a solid bunch. Not sure why I was to grab them 10/1 to win the South. Defense is solid. Eagles haven't looked all that in sync on both sides of the ball to start the season. 4* Money Maker TAMPA BAY BUCS

Taking DALLAS. Arizona 9 straight losses, 6 at home. Cowboys 70-10 over Giants and Jets. If anything we saw last week vs NYG ( I had NYG), the Cards are going to be in for a long year. Dallas is a much more balanced team. Just better. Arizona has covered vs Washington and the Giants. Now another old NFC East foe is in town. I just don't see. This should be a 33-10 game. 4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Taking SEATTLE. Short week. No offensive weapons. And a tough home crowd. Seattle OL (who I bet against last week taking the Lions!) looked better with backups then their starters. Andy Dalton coming in since the rookie is banged up. Line has moved a bit. Honestly. Shouldn't matter. Seahawks 28-11 (72%) ATS last 39 at home. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Taking the LIONS. Falcons pulled up a miracle win last week. Detroit, even with injuries, should take care of business here. Not sold on a young QB making road starts. I like this Atlanta team, I do. Like all the young offensive guys. For me though - this is a circle the wagons type of game. Detroit season can easily start to spiral out of control. Green Bay on Thursday night. They can't over-look anyone.  4* Money Maker DETROIT LIONS 

Taking the PACKERS. You know this is basically the official Mid Money Money team. Maybe Tampa on their heels. But I do like GB. Let one slip away last week in Atlanta. But not here at home. Saints off MNF (we cashed the Under). They haven't looked impressive at all on offense. Packers might get RB + WR back for this one. Love has been solid. Defense not too shabby. Might actually think about the under in this one also. 4* Money Maker GREEN BAY PACKERS
