Last 15 starts, a 1.93 ERA and a .91 WHIP going 9-2 in those starts If we just close out the last month + of the season, an even better. 74 WHIP. Guy is dealing. Urquidy a little more pedestrian. Taking the BRAVES. So we didn't play Atlanta yesterday with no pitcher listed well into the afternoon. But you should probably have been on them since we have had them in for the series, and every game vs the Brewers - and for the series and the first 3 of this Dodgers series until yesterday when I couldn't post a play with no pitcher listed. Fried has been great. Don't know how many more times I can repeat myself about this Braves team. I have said it since the playoffs started on the Mid Day Money show. Toss out the start of the season for them. And LA. This is a team that has struggled with injuries and underperforming players the entire year. Yes. 110 or however many wins. They are good. I think people forget that this team was suppose to be this good when the year started. Yeah. Slow starters. Acuna lost. But they didn't fold - they rallied. And they are sneaky good. Dodgers a great team. No arguments from me. But the pressure is on and I can see LA choking this away. They have already in past post season games. Huge number. Taking the ASTROS. Who would have thought that Chris Sale has a postseason ERA of 7.27. The guy was a beast back in the day. He is not what he was - we know that. This line is priced perfectly. We saw the Rays get Sale for 5 runs in 4 innings last series. Can we also remember this - the guy has pitched 10 games this season. I don't think he is 100%. He is good for 4-5 innings. That is fine with me. Because then we get the Boston bullpen that nearly blew the last 2 games vs the Rays. Astros tonight, and for the series. 4* Money Maker HOUSTON ASTROS

Taking the ASTROS. Edge Houston on the hill. Rodon does have 2 good starts vs the Astros this year. But McCullers has 3 good starts including one here in the playoffs vs the White Sox. Career in postseason he also has been solid with a 2.87 ERA in 15 games including 8 starts. Houston one of the best vs lefties. #3 in the league in Slugging. 1 in AL in Average. 2 in AL in OPS and #1 in AL in On Base. 4* Money Maker HOUSTON ASTROS

Taking the DODGERS here. Man. Almost went RL here for that +155. Both guys with good numbers vs the other club this season. Buehler, 6 starts, 3-1 2.16 ERA 37 innings 27 hits 33 Ks. Webb, 3 starts 1-0 2.25 ERA 16 innings 7 hits 17 Ks. Now - I know you are thinking why aren't we taking the Under 7 or even SF in the small dog role. Well, I will tell you why. It comes down to how well Webb has, or really, hasn't been pitching down the stretch. He wrapped a great August up posting a 1.41 ERA in 6 starts allowing 6 runs on 30 hits in 38.1 innings. He ending the year allowing 20 runs in his final 7 starts. Rockies tagged him for 3 in 7 - Cubs got him for 5 in 6 and San Diego tagged him for 4 runs in 2 different starts, one in 4 innings the other in 7. The fact that he hadn't allowed more than 2 runs in a game since the start of May makes this stick out to me. He has tripled his innings from the 2020 season. Maybe a bit of fatigue coming into play. I like that the Giants shelled Buehler the last time they faced him. 6 runs in 3 innings of work. Because in his other 5 starts, the Giants tallied a total of 5 runs in 34 innings. In his last 7 post season starts in 2019 and 2020.. 7 starts - 37.2 innings 23 hits 54 strikeouts. 4* Money Maker LA DODGERS 

Taking the BRAVES. We cashed nicely on our Brewers division and win total. But new season now. Playoff time. These guys both won 2 of 3 on their home fields during the regular season. But I will grab Morton as a little dog tonight. Back on August 1st, he went 6 innings giving up 3 hits and 2 ERs while striking out 6 in a 2-1 Milwaukee win. A solid start that didn't get a W. Burnes faced the Braves in the opener of that same series. He gave up 9 hits and 5 runs in 4 innings of work. He didn't catch an L as Tookie Toussaint gave up 7 in 3+. The Braves can hit. This is a team that was 4th in the NL OPS, 5th in AVE, 6th in OBS and 2nd SLG. Not shocking considering they were 2nd in team HRs with 239. As I said all season with Milwaukee, the offense is just an average run of the mill group. Austin Riley had a great season 303 33 107. Did you know that Ozzie Albiers drove in 106 while hitting 30 HRs? Freedie Freeman and other solid year. Adam Duvell hit 38 HRs. Soler came over from KC and hit 14HRs in the NL. This team is deep with power. A bloop and blast can happen anywhere in this lineup. Brewers are scrappy for sure, but I don't like them vs a very good Atlanta team people are overlooking. Grab the Braves for the Series also. 5* Best Bet ATLANTA BRAVES 

Taking the CARDINALS. Look. Dodgers the favorite to win the World Series and are playing STL who only won 17 straight to cement their playoff spot. Why can't we see the Dodgers choke this one away? We have seen it happen in the past. At this number, just a value play. Have to take it. 4* Money Maker STL CARDINALS

Taking the YANKEES. Now. I faded New York all weekend vs the Rays. And, no matter what team wins, Yanks or Sox, I will be on Tampa to beat either for that series. But first, we need a winner here. Cole had a decent season. I don't think he is the Cy Young, but a decent year. As I said when we took him his last start. You are 330 million or whatever, come out and beat the Blue Jays. He didn't. Now he gets to redeem himself. A solid post season for NYY last year. 3 starts - 18.3 innings 13 hits 30 Strikeouts- He had 13 in the Wild Card vs Cleveland On the road. His postseason numbers are very good. 10-4 in 16 starts 3.32 ERA. Solid 1.04 WHIP. Against Boston this year. Nothing super. He will give us about 6 innings, strike out 7 and give up 3 runs. That is what he has done. Maybe he shines this post season. At this price, worth the shot. Enter Nathan Eovaldi. Nice year. Nothing super, nothing terrible. 6 starts vs the Yanks produced a 2-2 3.71 ERA this season. But his most recent start back on Sept 24- 2.2 innings 7 hits 7 ERs here in Boston. Yanks have their 300+ Million Dollar Man on the hill. Get to the Division Series. 4* Money Maker NEW YORK YANKEES

Taking the MARINERS. We took a shot on the A's last night. Not the smartest move. Seattle now has won 11 in a row and I believe 14 of 16 vs Oakland. Like I said yesterday. A's needed last night to even have a sniff of thinking about the Wild Card. It's over. Seattle hanging on for dear life. Still alive though. Taking the BRAVES. Fried has totally turned it around since a slow start. 1.65 ERA last 7.  1.59 ERA in 5 September starts. 1.36 ERA in 5 August starts. I said yesterday on Mid Day Money - With a 2 game lead in the NL East, of the Braves and Phillies who do we think will choke, it was Philly all day. Wheeler with a gem. But they can't hit. Now they get a guy who has been one of the best in all of MLB the last 2 months - with basically their season on the line. Not a vintage Nola this season. Not expecting him to turn it on in his final start of the year. 4* Money Maker ATLANTA BRAVES 

Taking the YANKEES. Short number, have to go NYY. Red Hot. 7 in a row. This is a huge game for Cole. Although I think my guy Robbie Ray should win this thing, if Cole goes 7+ with 10Ks, he wraps it. Personal goal yes - But the team needs to keep winning to make the Wild Card also. 4* Money Maker NY YANKEES 

Taking the BREWERS. I will be honest. I want to take the Cards. But why the heck are they a dog here? I would much rather them even be a small fave. Wainwright has been flat out awesome. The team has won 16 in a row. They just swept Milwaukee in a 4 game set. But coming home from 8 straight on the road. I don't know. Maybe a dumb move. But this is one of those lines I will just take. Doesn't mean it's an auto win. But we have a pretty good starter in Woodruff, and, Brewers have won 3 in a row themselves. Dumb play - maybe. We'll find out. 4* Money Maker MILWAUKEE BREWERS 

Taking SEATTLE. Playoff baseball a little early. Battle for the Wild Card. Both teams fighting for their lives. Seattle 2 back, A's 3 back. Flexen is pitching to a 2.93 last 7 and wrapping up a pretty solid year overall. He had a poor start vs Oakland way back on June 2. But his 3 starts vs A's since then. 19 innings 15 hits 4 ERs including a 7 inning 3 hit gem last week when the Marines pulled off a sweep. Seattle has now won 9 in row in the series and 12 of the last 16. Irvin a bit rocky lately. He was tagged for 7 hits in 5 innings giving up 3 earned vs Flexen. Sometimes a team just has another teams number. And Seattle is really sticking it to Oakland so far. At this price, we take the home team. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE MARINERS

Taking the ASTORS. Had Houston last night. Game hasn't even started - doesn't matter. Will come right back on them today. Only as good as your next pitcher. Ours is pitching to a 2.82 ERA his last 7 starts. The team had won 7 of 10. As I said yesterday, Oakland is reeling right now. And Manaea? Is he the guy that is going to get a win streak going? He has an ERA north of 6 in his last 7 starts. In his last 9 starts, he has give up 4 or more runs in 5 of them. 58 hits in 54 innings the last 2 months and 34 Runs - 10 HRs. Not buying Oakland at all. Especially when I can get a playoff team at basically even money. 4* Money Maker HOUSTON ASTROS 

Taking the ASTROS. What world are we living in that the reeling A's should be favored. 4 straight now after getting swept at home by Seattle. Astros had been clubbing the ball the last few days before we stole a win with the Angels yesterday. Today,  back to the Houston bats taking advantage of bad Oakland pitching. Houston 8-1 last 9 here. Winners in 5 of last 6. Two teams going in completely opposite directions. A's with 6 straight home losses  but are 'do to beat a 90 win team that has owned them lately. Taking the MARINERS. The little engine that could is still trucking along. Just swept Oakland. 5 in a row - 7 of 10. In the wild-card hunt and enter the Angels who have lost 7 of 10. LAA is bad. I know trust me. I thought they had a shot at the division with the Trout/Ohtani/Rendon offense. Not happening. Much like the San Francisco Giants, Seattle getting zero respect with their lines. Taking the TWINS, again. No way the Jays can lose. They have Vlad! They have the old Minny ace facing his old team. This is Toronto's year! Come on. Give me the home dog. Twins have reeled off 3 straight. I don't know, but something tells me there is no way they want to end up in last place. That is a mighty fall from a team some had to win the division. Jays are good. I get it. I am just not laying with them right now. Not betting on losing clubs. 4* Money Maker MINNESOTA TWINS

Taking the NATS. Why wouldn't we fade Cincy at this price? They are mired in a slump. Totally fell out of the wild card race. I don't trust Gray at this price. They have lost 8 of 10 and 16 of 23. Taking the INDIANS. Liked them in both double headers yesterday. After the Sox clinched Game 1, easy play on Game 2. But Chicago with a night to celebrate, I think they take off here. Big things ahead for the White Sox. A win today, not important. Will add Cease with a 5 ERA in 15 road starts compared to 3.22 at home in same 15 starts. Just not a good spot. Beiber first game since June 13. A pair of minor league starts going 6 innings 5 hits 4 runs 7 Ks. Again, even off DL where I normally like not playing on a pitcher, in this spot, getting plus money with a happy, fat division champ, will roll the dice. 4* Money Maker CLEVELAND INDIANS 

Taking the ANGELS. This line opened at Houston -195. Now at 155. Why? Astros with a 29-10 scoring edge this series. I guess after last nights 9-5 extra inning game, LAA is going to break through. Whatever the case is, people a lot smarter than me also think the Angels have a shot. Maybe it is Cobb and his 2.06 ERA last 7 starts. He has a 2.30 ERA in 7 home starts with a .192 BAA and 1.00 WHIP. Worth a shot at this price. 4* Money Maker LA ANGELS 

Taking the TWINS. This line continues to drop and we will grab the home dog. Nobody giving Minny a shot tonight. Jays in off tough series with Rays. Might be a little flat here. 4* Money Maker MINNESOTA TWINS 

Taking the GIANTS, again. I have said for the last couple weeks, Darvish is hurt. Just look at the numbers. Terrible. He is either hurt, or was using the sticky. No other explanation. Padres a hot mess all over the place. The field. Dugout. Front office. What a nightmare season after the dream it was thought to be back in April. Oh. San Fran still in 1st place getting zero respect the 3rd week of September.  4* Money Maker SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS

Taking the CARDINALS, again. No way the Brewers get swept at home. So what they have lost 4 in a row while St Louis has reeled off 11 straight. Milwaukee is due for a win! Whatever. Taking the GIANTS, again. Vince Velasquez! I said after the trade deadline, Padres are dead in the water. This team - this team that was suppose to win 95+ games and battle the Dodgers for the NL West. This team, has now lost 4 straight. 8 of 10 and 10 of 13. This team - WILL be under .500 to end the year. No doubt about it. Fade these guys the last 2 weeks of the season. 4* Money Maker SF GIANTS 

Taking SEATTLE. Going for 3 in a row over Oakland, 4 straight overall. Seattle still fighting for their Wild Card lives. A's in a funk after a 5 game win streak over Angels and Royals. Will also be on the UNDER here as Seattle has gone Under in 4 of 5 and Oakland Under also in 4 of 5. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE MARINERS

Taking the MARINERS. Our guy Marco has really turned things around. Absolute dyno-mite lately! 2.84 ERA last  7, 5 wins, a .92 WHIP. And, that is with a 2 so so starts his last 3. Vs Oakland this year, 3 starts 15.2 innings, 12 hits 6 Earned 12 Ks 3 Walks. Not bad. Blackburn not much of track record with just 6 starts so far. He is pitching to a .302 BAA at home and .316 on the year. Again, limited sample size with 36 hits in 27.1 innings of work. Just 18Ks to go with 7 Walks. He isn't going deep, we know that. Hasn't finished a 5th inning yet. The A's bullpen a bit sketchy for sure.  4* Money Maker SEATTLE MARINERS

Taking TAMPA. Had Robbie Ray and the Jays last night. Tonight. Rasmussen on the menu. Guy has been solid since coming out of the bullpen. 7 starts. 30 innings 18 hits 5 Earned 21Ks 5 walks. We know the Rays don't let guys go deep. But I will gladly take his 5 innings 3 hits 1 run ball tonight. Let's add in Manoah is off a total gem vs the Rays a week ago. 8 innings 1 hit 10K ball. He had been giving up some runs prior. On the road his last 3 starts, 15.1 innings 16 hits 12 Earned. On the year, 4.34 road ERA 9 starts (2.47 at home 8 starts). 4* Money Maker TAMPA BAY RAYS 

Taking the PIRATES. I think we can put the fork in Cincy. Line has come down 20 cents overnight. And why not? Reds have dropped 7 of 10, 10 of 15 and 14 of 20. I'll take a shot on Pitt here. They took 2 of 3 from Cincy just a week ago. In fact - Pirates have won their last 4 series taking 2 of 3 from Miami, Cincy, Washington and Detroit. 4* Money Maker PITT PIRATES 

Taking the BLUE JAYS. I do like the Rays. And getting them as a dog is never not something I want to do. But right now, this offense is really rolling along. And - Robbie Ray. My guy. I remember back in Arizona he had some nice seasons. He has been absolutely dealing and no chance I fade him. The line might look a bit low, but that is really because of how good Tampa is. 4* Money Maker TORONTO BLUE JAYS

Taking the INDIANS. Who the heck are the Yankees to be favored like this right now? Am I missing something? Are they rolling along 8 games ahead, leading the AL East? Uh. No, they aren't they are 4th place 9 games back of Tampa and a half game back in the Wild Card. And Kluber. Please. Don't get me started. This guy gets off the DL and promptly goes 4 innings 5 hits 5 runs - 3.2 innings 4 hits 2 runs - 4 innings 5 hits 4 runs. Safe to say he goes 4 and gives up 3 tonight. He has 2 great starts this season. And has been average or worse every where else. If you take out those 2 gems, he has actually pitched more than 5 innings in just 3 other games. 13 starts, 5 games with 5 complete innings! But yeah, he will come out fire tonight. Give me the Indians with Plesac who has been decent all season. 4* Money Maker CLEVELAND INDIANS 

Taking ST LOUIS. Grabbing the Cards with Wainwright on the hill. Guy has been great down the stretch. 1.57 ERA his last  7 starts with a .81 ERA. Last 3 starts on the road - 22.1 innings 9 hits 3 runs, 2 earned. Mets coming in off late game vs the Yankees. These guys have been a disappointed all season. Why wouldn't this be a prime let down spot after the 9/11 series vs Bronx Bombers. 4* Money Maker STL CARDINALS 

Taking the TWINS. Ok. Not the best spot to take Minnesota as a random make up game. But how do we not fade the Yankees. Off a tough loss vs the Mets last night. And just off that Subway Series. No Judge. The bullpen is spent. They have lost 8 of 10 and 12 of 15. Yes. Yankees have owned the Twins over the year. This team was just on Tampa's heels for the AL East crown. Now they are sitting 10 back and also trail both the Blue Jays and Red Sox for the Wild Card and have Oakland and Seattle nipping at their heels. Give me the big dog here. 4* Money Maker MINNESOTA TWINS 

Taking the PHILLIES. Not sure who is getting the nod on the hill today. I want to go RL and fade Marquez for the Rockies. We had a winner yesterday on Colorado, but will fade them here. 19-50 on the road, and Marquez is part of that problem. 12 starts away from Coors, 3-8 5.37 ERA (3.16 at home!). A 5.70 ERA his last 7 - that is what happens when you give up 7-3-5-4 going an average of 5 innings. Philly desperate for a win. And that doesn't mean they win. But the lineup can hit, and this looks like a spot to get some  healthy swings in. 4* Money Maker PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES 

Taking the ROCKIES. Uh. I know Colorado is bad on the road. But at this price, I have to grab them. Senzatela hasn't been terrible on the road. He has had decent outings. He will keep the Rockies in this one. I do like Suarez. But the Philly bullpen makes this a dangerous spot laying this kind of number. Not that I love backing teams on losing streaks, but I will here. 4* Money Maker COLORADO ROCKIES 

Taking the TWINS. No way the Indians get swept right? These guys have lost 3 in a row. Why can't they lose again? Minnesota has put together some win streaks the last few weeks and are currently sitting on 4 straight. Twins 9-1 last 10 vs the Indians. 4* Money Maker MINNESOTA TWINS 

Taking the WHITE SOX. Lopez has pitched pretty good so far this season. Oakland out of their funk last night, but I am not ready to back Manaea who has been pitching to an ERA of 6.55 the last 2 months. Sox should be able to hit him. 4* Money Maker CHICAGO WHITE SOX 

Taking the RAYS. Had Tampa last night, will come back on them today. Nothing else to say. Currently up 8-1 over Boston. As I said in yesterday's right up, TB was 10-3 last 13 vs Sox heading into last nights game including 16-5 here in Boston. Safe to say at this moment, those numbers are  now 9-1 and 17-5. Eovaldi has pitched well, so this is no knock on him. But Rays are just playing so well right now. Getting them at plus money, maybe too good to be true, but worth a look. 4* Money Maker TAMPA BAY RAY

Taking the RAYS. Tampa is now 10-3 last 13 in the series and 16-5 last 21 here in Boston. These guys simply have Boston's number. 18-5 run on the road, and we get them at a Pk? Come on. Maybe it looks 'too easy." Rasmussen is who he is. A guy out of the bullpen who in his good for 4 innings of 3 hit ball and maybe give up a run. Much better than our guy ERod who we have been fading most of the year. The fact he is off a 6 inning 4 hit 0 run games last week vs Tampa makes me love the Rays all the more. 4* Money Maker TAMPA BAY RAYS 

Taking the CARDINALS. Uh. Tough spot to take STL off that walk off grand slam. Yikes. That is a bad way to head home. I am still going to fade the Dodgers off their Giants series. Can LA come in here and have Mad Max go 8  and win 4-1. Sure they can. Doesn't mean it will happen. Cards still fighting for their wild card lives 3 games back. 4* Money Maker STL CARDINALS 

Taking the ROCKIES. Will be fading both the Giants and Dodgers off their series ending game last night. Tough to come off of that series, and now face the Rockies. For whatever reason, Colorado does win at home. People will love to bet on the Giants thinking they have to to win to keep pace with LA. Well of course they have to - but does that mean they are? Give me the home dogs. Rockies tied for 2nd most home wins in all of baseball. 4* Money Maker COLORADO ROCKIES 

Taking the BLUE JAYS. Yanks limping into the new week off a series that should have been a sweep of the Orioles, but they were nearly swept. I will gladly take any plus money with Toronto. A good scrappy bunch. I do think they are a year away from really putting together a good run into the playoffs. But the talent is there to beat the Yanks. 4* Money Maker TORONTO BLUE JAYS 

Taking the BREWERS, will also be on the OVER here. How do we fade the the team with the best win percentage in MLB? Easy, we take the team with the best road record in MLB. Brewers with 3 straight wins, taking the first two here in San Fran. And the Giants - not a chance they get swept at home! Give me the big dogs here. I understand Anderson isn't all that great. But Gausman is also hittable. 4* Money Maker MILWAUKEE BREWERS 

Taking the ANGELS. No way the Yankees can lose with Cole! They have lost 4 in a row. Why can't they lose again? They now sit 8 games back of Tampa for the East. Should NY win this one? Yeah. But at this price, I'll grab the dog. 4* Money Maker LA ANGELS 

Taking the CARDS in both games of this double-header. Look Cincy has dropped 3 in a row. They offense is in a funk. STL - a team who I have kicked their back in all season, is doing exactly what I said about them from Day 1. This team just is always a grinder. Finds ways to compete. The offense is not great. Taking the RANGERS. Oh man. No way that the Rockies can get swept! The Rockies! 17-50 on the road Rockies! I wasn't brave enough to take Texas in their first two games. And honestly, it was not that I didn't want to just straight Colorado, it was more I just don't like the Rangers at all. But I will jump on them here as a home dog. Taking ARIZONA. I like the over a bit here also, but will just roll here on the home dogs. How the heck is Paddack favored here? Guy has not pitched in a month. And when he was pitching, he had a 5+ ERA on the year. San Diego also 2-14 their last 16 games here in Arizona. How about we add Padres are 3-13 their last 16 overall. Or 2-8 last 10 on the road, 2-9 last 11 as road faves. This team is in a slide. Yes. Arizona flying back from Philly. Tough spot for sure. But I will take a shot on the nice home dogs. 4* Money Maker ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS 

Taking the RAYS, and will also be on the OVER. Only way to play this series. Tampa 7-1 last 8 at home over Sox. Over 7-2 last 9 and 21-6-2 last 28. Rays on a 15-5-1 over run their last 21 overall. Rays on 7 game win streak, 9 of 10, 13 of 16 and 17 of 21. 4* Money Maker TAMPA BAY RAYS + Over

Taking the YANKEES here. We had them the last 2 nights, will come back again here. Scoreless here on Friday as I do this write up. But honestly, give me a short price and the way NYY is playing. I can't say now. No way I can say, let's jump in front of this Yankee Freight Train for the A's at +101 ! Not happening. Yanks doing it with bats, starters and their bullpen. Really on an incredible roll the last month. 4* Money Maker NY YANKEES 

Taking the YANKEES. They are in a wild one as I write this tied up at 6 after jumping out to a 6-0 lead in the 3rd. Win streak or not, they have been winning for 6 straight weeks. Not a bad number to lay with Cole who seems to be in a groove lately. 2 August starts producing a .77 ERA and 15Ks in 11.2 innings. Take out that Tampa blip and he has a nice 5 game run under his belt. Manaea on the other hand has been giving up runs this month. 5-3-7-2 (4 innings).  A total of 15.2 innings 17 ER 24 hits 5 HRs plus 7 walks and 14Ks. Yanks have been hitting a bit. Will lay it in this spot. 4* Money Maker NY YANKEES 

Taking the BRAVES. Had San Fran all series vs the Mets. But it was a tough one. Really had to grind out the last couple. Braves sitting here waiting - stewing after dropping a pair of game to the Yankees. This is a tough team. Fried has really turned his season around. What a bad start back in April. 11 innings 23 hits 15 runs. Then he gave up 16 runs his next 9 starts combined. A huge August that he looks to continue- .67 ERA in 27 innings 2 walks 20Ks 2 ERs with a .204 BA Against .81 WHIP. Enter Gausman who has had a couple so so starts. Can't really bash the guy because after being unbelievable for 18 starts, you knew he would regress a bit. Still more than solid. Just in this spot off that series, I can see the Braves taking this one. 4* Money Maker ATLANTA BRAVES

Taking the PIRATES. Will fade Happ at this price. I have been down on STL all year. The offense is a bottom feeder. Pirates are no great shakes, but are scrappy. Dillon Peters is a 28 year old spot starter type of guy. But, for 9 innings so far this year, he has been serviceable. Again. This is just me not thinking Happ should be favored by this kind of number over anyone. 4* Money Maker PITTSBURGH PIRATES 

Taking the YANKEES. Will grab the low hanging fruit with this line. Though the fact that Oakland is 21-7 vs NYY here at home maybe reflects the low number. But it is still tough to grab a +105 with the A's. Losers of 4 straight and 8 of 10. You got beat 3 of 4 at the White Sox. Giants took 2 of 3 from you. You lose a pair to Seattle. What does this show us? To me, it looks like you can't beat teams with a winning record. Yanks have been on a heater the entire month and then some. 11 in row. 21-4 last 25 and if I can count, a 28-8 run since July 17th. Again. If you had a better price, maybe you think of Oakland. How about Tailon. - Last 7 starts 1.99 ERA. We are also on the Under in this spot. Kaprielan has been solid at home, but again. The run the Yanks have been on - not enough value on the home team and the run they are on. 4* Money Maker NY YANKEES 

Taking the DODGERS. Not a chance I grab Darvish off the DL. Not the way this Padres team is reeling. Lost of 8 of 10 coming into Wednesday. Give me Mad Max and the streaking Dodgers all day here. San Diego will be having a fire sale this December. The pitching has been a complete disaster with its injuries. Tough to overcome a team like LA, or even SF when you are missing your horses. I never like guys in their first games back, and that won't change with Yu either. Are we just going to forget his 5 straight losses in his last 7 starts where he lit up the scoreboard with a 7+ ERA. Hey. Maybe it was nothing. Lower back tightness for 10 day. Did they want to give him a breather? I mean- how do you do that when you are fighting for a playoff spot. He has been nothing but gold vs LAD this year. 20 inning 3 ER 7 hits 29Ks 6 BBs in 3 starts. That being said, we have Mad Max on the hill. 4 starts for LAD 2.11 ERA .98 WHIP 31Ks in 21.1 innings. Worth a shot at this price. 4* Money Maker LA DODGERS

Taking the GIANTS, again. You thought I was kidding when I said I don't want anything to do with the Mess, I mean Mets. Short road fave. Not a problem. Give me the team with the best record in all of MLB who continues to get disrespected. He has been pretty decent his last 2 starts. 11.2 innings 11 hits 4 ER 15Ks 3 walks. We can handle that. Before that, a couple sloppy starts in b2b jobs against Arizona. This NY team is in a tailspin. Carlos Carrasco. 8.82 ERA in 5 games back. 14.14 ERA at home if you are counting. 13 hits 11 ER 5 HRs.
