The key for the Chiefs defense is to not be taken by the pre-snap movement of the 49ers offense. Penalties would obviously extend drives creating scoring opportunities.  The former Niners coach Bill Walsh always talked about a pass rush effecting the game in the 4th quarter, and this will be a close game, but the difference will QB Mahomes and his ability to create positive yards from a negative field situation.

We like Andy Reid, and the techs in the game favor KC.  The Chiefs 7-0-1 ATS L8 and 6-0-1 ATS as a chalk.  In addition, KC is 6-0-1 ATS off a SU win.  The Niners come in 5-0 ATS as a dog, but they have a miserable 3-7 ATS record off a SU win of 14 or more points. In addition the Niners show 1-2 SU (64-75) last ten years in the state of Florida.  Remember the series has been KC who is 4-1 AT L5 times facing the 49ers.  Take the Chiefs laying -1 and good luck.

5* Tennessee+ (313) over Kansas City @ 3:05 Eastern Sunday

The key here from our side of the line of scrimmage is that Belichick disciple HC Mike Vrabel has done a super job carving out a path to the playoffs for the Titans.  The key lineup change that has augmented the rejuvenation of the offense came when QB Mariota was benched in favor of QB Tannehill.  With the insertion of the new signal caller and the uptick of running back Henry, the Titans have put together a winning streak of 9 of the last 12 games. Last time against Baltimore the Titans ran for 217 yards with only 15 first downs to the Ravens 29 advances. 40 of the last 41 drives resulted in touches.  And with their opportunistic defense they controlled the tempo of the game at key intervals.  The Chiefs volume of yards and covers has been once again highlighted by the super efforts of QB Mahomes who is as healthy at this critical time in the playoffs.  HC Andy Reid (12-4) picked up a huge playoff win over Houston last week after being down in the first quarter.  However, Reid’s career record is 13-14 SU in the post season, so that stat adds to our overall angle.  Granted this is a revenge game for the Chiefs (-6) who dropped a 35-32 war at Tennessee this season, but they will be in for a real “dog” fight.  Kansas City shows 2-5 ATS in home playoff games and 3-8 ATS overall in the playoffs. The underdog shows 4-0 ATS in the series, while the road team in the series is 8 of 10.  Take the Titans plus the points on Sunday.  Good Luck.

We an earlier game on the Sunday card when the ‘Skins travel to Carolina (5-6).  Last week Washington (2-9) pulled out a rare win 19-13 over Detroit down in Maryland.  A field goal with 16 seconds left did the trick after a Washington interception changed the Lions winning hopes.  Carolina on Sunday lost to the Saints down in New Orleans forged by a last second field goal.  The Panthers had a chance of winning the key division and road game, but missed a field goal with around two minutes on the clock.  In the series the underdog has been money of late, and now we have letdown situation facing Carolina.  And we note Washington has played a fairly tough schedule this year, so with some good feelings after last week we see the ‘Skins close here.  Good Luck.

Our totals in the NFL were 3-3 last week, while losing our only with Tampa Bay.  The Bucs were granted credence because of seldom used systems that illustrated our go position.  Honestly, all four were  unsuccessful.  

Last week Seattle (8-2) bounced the 49ers in a road setting 27-24 in overtime as the Seahawks defense held the Niners run game to 3.1 yards per carry.  The Seahawks had 4 turnovers, home standing SF had 3 on the day but, the QB Wilson  was the driving offensive force for Seattle to help pick the FG win.  New England garnered SUPER BOWL REVENGE with a 17-10 road win in Philly (5-5). The key in the loss was again the inept receiver corpse that misses Jackson and others to help support Wentz in the long distance attack.  However, WR Ertz has come on of late with TE Goddard making visible mistakes in the loss.  Overall (8-2) Seattle shows 5-0 SU versus road opponents with a 24-26 SU record, included are wins against Pittsburgh, Cleveland and San Francisco.  Seattle is 10-1-1 ATS as a road dog L12.  Also, they are 5-1 ATS at Philadelphia and 5-0 ATS L5 in November.  The Eagles show in critical form with the NFC East their only visible chance for the playoffs as of this week. Philadelphia is 3-2 SU (2-3 ATS) at home this season after the NE loss on Sunday, while teams playing their 3rd straight home game 2019 show 0-2-1 ATS.  The Eagles have NOT defeated a winning unit home in 2019, not a very good sign. Also, Philly comes in 2-8 ATS L10 in November, 2-5 ATS versus the NFL L7 and 1-4 ATS L5 in November.  On the field Seattle (28.2/21.6) has been bailed out consistently by leader QB Russell (68.5%) whereas Philadelphia (23.8/18.2) has Wentz challenging (61.2%) in this must win situation.  So, we see Wilson making the difference in a huge NFC war.  Good Luck.

Overall this is one tough football game to handicap especially considering the Lions have won 4 straight both SU & ATS in this heated series of which the Packers had controlled for so many years. This season Detroit (2-1-1) has played a strong schedule and have been highly competitive in doing so.  They will need to accrue something more out of the their running to pick off a SU win in Green Bay.  The Packers will be without WR Adams and the line has been adjusted to compensate going from -5-1/2 to -3-1/2.  In their last battle with the Lions, QB Rodgers suffered a concussion in the second quarter then Detroit won 31-0.  So, we expect home club to fixate on the shutout revenge factor.  However, Detroit has really book some solid confidence early and we don't they will come up short in the field in a close game.  Remember the Lions are 6-1 ATS off a bye, while the Packers show 0-4 ATS in week #6 of the schedule.  TAKE THE POINTS!

Generally, would not go against the Colts who have played well in their two previous games both on the road at Los Angeles (24-30) and Indianapolis (19-17), showing 1-0-1 ATS record.  The Colts were the BDS NFL Game of the Week.  Atlanta is 1-1 both SU & ATS losing at Minnesota 12-28, winning last week 24-20 at home over highly rated Philadelphia.  In order to augment the negative run defense for the Falcons defensive tackle Hagman is coming back to the starting lineup.  We wondered if the Birds might have blown out their emotions last week winning against the Eagles?  But, we found an undefeated trend to keep up the winning here as the Falcons show a PERFECT 18-0 ATS in road assignments against N/D foes who surrendered less than 254 yards in total last week and play with less than 14 days of rest.  Take the Falcons to shock the Vegas Brain Trust on Sunday.  Good Luck.

We cashed our 5* last week on the Titans running the 5* Best Bet streak to 83.3% the last three months on this network.  Sunday we catch a rematch of a highly competitive series with Indianapolis dominating of late winning and covering both encounters in 2018.  The Colts in their overtime 30-24 loss at the Chargers last week showed 376 yards of total offense, but unfortunately their pass defense gave way late to the Chargers attack.  Indianapolis did illustrate a sparkling running game with 203 yards booked.  If they amass that type yardage against Tennessee they will take home the money.  Remember in the Titans win last week over Cleveland they were gifted three interceptions changing the direction of the football game.  Technically, the Colts show 7-1 ATS L8 against winning teams and 4-1-1 ATS versus the AFC.  Also, Indianapolis has covered 6-of-7 at Tennessee.  The Titans come 14-35-2 ATS after scoring 30+ points and 21-46-4 ATS in the AFC.  Despite a home game, Tennessee just might have a mild letdown after the Cleveland smash.  Good Luck.

Not scared by the current line with the Browns showing solid interest out on the strip.  You have to wonder laying -5-1/2 in game #1 of the season off a 7-8-1 campaign is logical against the former 9-7 Tennessee unit who were 7-3 ATS in 2018 as an underdog?  The last two years these combatants met were in 2016 and 2017 with scores of Tennessee 28-26 and 12-9 (OT).  And major key has been the superior efforts at the line of scrimmage by the Titans.  Granted Cleveland has the super talents of QB Baker Mayfield, but QB Mariota is back under center for Tennessee.  In addition, this is the first season as Cleveland head coach with Fred Kitchens running the show.  At home the Browns are a tardy 9-20 ATS of late and 5-14-1 ATS week #1 of the season.  The Titans travel knowing the underdog is 3-1-1 ATS L5 in the series, take the points.  Good Luck.

5* LOS ANGELES RAMS over New England...Here comes the hard charging Rams escaping the NFC to challange the AFC Patriots.  The last time they met it was not good news.   This time around the Rams face the Patriots again but as the Los Angeles Rams. As we now know New England has made it a trend playing in the big game, it’s their 8th going back to 2002.  Instead of meandering through the known assets and liabilities of the two units, I will focus on a dark compliment in the game, Rams P John Hekker who converted a fake punt against New Orleans is a live commodity coming into action.  Add in the offensive and defensive strengths we could have a game toasting around a pick situation.  This is why it is critical having great special teams in a Super Bowl battle. The previous time the Rams played in a Super Bowl, the opponent was New England. It didn't work out so well for the then-St. Louis team.  Technically speaking, the last Super Bowl loser when playing the following year has a difficult time covering, for this analyst it doesn’t hurt that is New England. They are 2-5 ATS in the Super Bowl and 2-5 ATS in February.  We close with the Rams 4-0 ATS L4 times out and 4-1-1 ATS off a SU.  Good Luck.

 We’re happy with +3 or +3-1/2 in this NFC situational playoff game taking the Rams.  Obviously the +3-1/2 is the power of choice for our clients.  As most, we saw the Rams coming last year with their superior offense leading the way, especially when QB Goff was throwing consistently and their running game was chewing up opposing defenses.  If you recall last week LA faced one of the most talented front-7 in the league, but the Rams Anderson and Gurley booked a total of 238 yards rushing, including three touchdowns.  This is a major advantage considering last week the Saints faced the Eagles diminished running attack and struggled to win.  QB Goff should have a huge day down the field, allowing LA to control TOP and the game.  From the technical perspective this is the first time the Rams will be an underdog this season both regular season and in the playoffs.  New Orleans is 1-5 ATS as a chalk down the stretch, 0-4 ATS on turf and 0-4 ATS after a SU win. Cashed another major NFL ticket last night with the Rams/Eagles Over the total.

This time around we're using New Orleans who already clinched the NFC South

crown. Carolina (6-7) is in second place trying to create late season heroics. 

If the Panthers win tonight they will still be alive for a playoff round, but 

will need some luck most likely coming from possibly the Bears who will 

play the Vikings Week #17. Carolina (24.9/25.5) has experienced playoff games the

last 4 of 5 years, they need to win out to continue their streak. Whereas,

the Saints (11-2) bounced back nicely last week from their Dallas loss shuting

down the Bucs on the road 28-14, again illustrating their defensive

improvement the last five games surrendering just 13 points on average per

showing. New Orleans (34.4/21.8) has six wins on the road (2018) the average point 

differential +13.8 points per game. This is the third straight road game for

the Saints, and they can't be but a little hazy with their playoff schedule not

in doubt. However, QB Brees is such a competitor, and he will look to take

advantage of a unit that has had some salty sack marks during the season utilizing

the Saints solid offensive line. Carolina's QB Cam Newton has improved with the

addition of the new OC, the passer is hitting 72% with 263 yards per game the

last seven times out. Remember this is a quarterback, though, that has shoulder 

problems! The Panthers are 5-1 SU at home, losers of 5 straight, however. 

Considering some of the nagging injuries defensively it would quite difficult to

position the Panthers in our forecast. Granted they do have the home field edge,

while playing for their playoff lives, but they have too many issues on both sides

of the ball to get the job done.  Remember the Saints have covered 4 straight in

this building, and have taken 6 of 7 ATS in the series.  The road unit in the

series is 24-10 ATS. Overall, New Orleans has cashed 4 straight versus losing

teams. With Carolina 0-5 ATS the last five, 0-4 ATS in December and 0-4 ATS off

a SU loss, take the road unit this evening.  Good Luck.

Bowl Champions who lost in their initial battle at home versus

the subject opponent.  Guaranteed, the Eagles will be at the

very best they can be Sunday in a hostile enviorment, they

have the emotional edge. In addition, the Birds show 5-2 ATS

at Dallas, while the road unit is 11-3 ATS in the series. 

The Cowboys bring a 4-12-2 ATS record in week #14 of the

season. Final Note, play this angle quickly as the line

Sunday Tennessee (6-6) survived a surge by the Jets 26-22. On the

other hand, Jacksonville (4-8) stopped the bleeding after a 7 game

losing streak with a 6-0 win over Indianapolis. With the Jaguars out of 

playoff contention their motivation will be as a spoiler with the Titans

still having a chance at the post season.  In their initial battle this 

season in September the Titans won 9-6 at Jacksonville. They have 

won the last three in the series. As a special reminder in that test

the Jags held Tennessee's offense to 233 total yards. Over the last 

three games, Jacksonville has stopped the run...3.3 yards per game on

average. The Titans rush defense doesn't help on that side of scrimmage

giving up 5.7 yards per game on the ground the last three football games.

We note, RB Fournette is returning for Jacksonville Sunday. Also, over 

their last three games Jacksonville has allowed 14.7 points per game, 

Tennessee surrendering 31.3 points. Actually, the two clubs have similar

numbers from the scoring standpoint on both sides of the ball, the Jaguars

16.9/20.2 and the Titans 18.4/20.4. Emotionally, the Jags have nothing

to lose and will play with abandon as they are in TRIPLE REVENGE versus

the Titans. Technically speaking, the Jaguars come 6-2 ATS in the month

of December with the Titans 8-20 ATS L28. We realize the recent spread

series favors Tennessee. Though, we can't discount Tennessee's 1-6 ATS

record week #14 and their horrid record off a SU win of 16-35-2 ATS.

The Saints show with a 10-1 SU record, the aspiring and inspired Pokes 6-5.

As far as the line it opened -7-1/2 NO out in Las Vegas, it stayed steady,

though, William & Hill at NO -7 this morning. Home standing Dallas has been

on a nice season run winning three straight and have a possibility of winning

the NFC East.  The visiting Saints are rolling and seemingly have a similar

momentum to Philadelphia back in December of 2017. They are in command

of the NFC South with Panthers (6-5) a little to far behind at this point in

the season, so if you doubts that might be the only one, with NO starting 

slow tonight against a home club that will be jacked up for sure. Statistics

do accrue edges for NO ranked #5 (417) in yards per game with Dallas #25 

(334). Critical on the road is 3rd down coversions, but the Saints rating is

at #8, while the Cowboys improves are still down at #15. The public might

find it misleading when it comes to the percentage of rushing plays, as

New Orleans (#2) shows 47.9%, while #6 Dallas has a 44.7%. When the Saints

are on the road they give more in the running game chowing down 59%. Also,

and in contrast New Orleans (73.2) is ranked #1 in opponents yards rushing

per game. Overall, we you calculate the Saints (#2) points per play of 0.570

the picture still looks to be the road unit.  Technically when assessing

yards rushing it really point to New Orleans who bring a perfect 6-0 ATS record

after holding the last opponent to 90 rushing yards or less. Realize the

public might thinking letdown by the Saints, but the Pokes show 2-7 ATS

at home against a >.500 road unit. And, to forget (8-0 ATS turf) is on a 

majestic 9-0 ATS L9 games on the board. Finally, we know the underdog has

scalped 9-of-11 ATS, but the Saints show 8-3 ATS versus Dallas. Good luck,
