Los Angeles is the move as they take on the surprising Raptors. The Lakers are still the better overall team and they are much deeper than the Raptors. Los Angeles is only giving up 115 ppg defensively and they will force Toronto out of their typical fast past paced game. Milwaukee is the move catching points. The Bucks are struggling and this is a spot where they need to turn things around and match up well with Detroit. Detroit has taken the NBA by storm, but they are going to struggle with the length and paint play against Milwaukee. The Bucks continue to lose close games and they’re going to force Detroit to beat them in the half court game. Detroit is just 2-2 in their last 4 as they’re coming back down to Earth. Orlando is worth a move laying the points against the Spurs. San Antonio has had its share of issues on the road this season and they run into an Orlando team that can score. The Magic are putting up nearly 120 ppg and they’re an extremely physical side defensively. They’ll put a lot of pressure on the Spurs and turn that into offense as they are one of the best transition teams in the NBA. Back the Magic.

Boston has value against the Knicks. Boston is starting to catch fire as they finished November winning 3 of their last 4. They’re starting to get a lot of good production on both ends of the floor and defensively they’ve been stellar. They’re conceding just 110 ppg and we’ve seen them step up time and time again with some big stops. This is a game they always get up for against their rival and we’re going to see them slow this game down. Back Boston.

Iowa is the move against Michigan State. The Hawkeyes are being undervalued in this spot ad they come in a perfect 7-0. Iowa has some good wins over the likes of Xavier and Ole Miss, as they have really done it on both ends of the floor. They’re averaging 83.4 ppg, while conceding just 61.1 and they’re going to turn this into a very physical game against Michigan State. The Thunder have value on Friday night against the Suns. Oklahoma City is just rolling right now and nobody has seemingly been able to stop them. The Suns don’t have the firepower to keep up and this will be a spot where they struggle to slow down the attack from the Thunder. This is just a complete mismatch. Back OKC.

Virginia Tech and St. Mary’s meet as the battle of the unbeatens clash. This is too many points for Virginia Tech as this team continues to play well on both sides of the ball. They’re putting up over 87 ppg while conceding just 71. They have the firepower to match this St. Mary’s attack and their high defensive pressure will force a lot of tough shots for the Gaels. The Hokies are the better team and catching points here is a very nice value to play. This will be close throughout, with the Hokies having their chances to steal it. Grab the points.

The Celtics are worth a move as they catch points against Detroit. The Pistons do continue to roll, but Boston is still just as good of a team and getting points with them is a valuable spot. Boston has the defensive capabilities to slow down Cunningham and they’re going to turn this game into a half court style one, which will have Detroit out of rhythm. Expect Boston’s defense to be the difference in a close game. Back Boston with the points.

Indiana is the move against the Wildcats. Indiana is a perfect 5-0 and 4 of their 5 wins have been absolute blowouts. This offense is rolling, averaging 88.2 ppg so far as they love to play extremely quick. That bodes well for them as they go up against a Kansas State team that is giving up nearly 80 ppg and just allowed 86 to Nebraska in their first loss. San Diego State is the move against Michigan in the Players Era Tournament. This is a tough spot for Michigan as San Diego State is a very tough team to deal with. They’re extremely physical and they will wear teams down, which is what they’ll do to Michigan in this matchup. Offensively, they’re averaging over 85 ppg as they have a compliment of scorers both inside and out. Michigan gives up over 71 ppg and they’ll have their hands full from the start. Expect a close game through, giving the value to SDSU with the points.

Indiana State and Ball State meet and this is a great spot to fade Ball State. The Cardinals have lost back to back games and struggled against Little Rock last time out. This offense is just too inconsistent to trust as they’ve struggled to get any sort of rhythm. They’re averaging just 68 ppg and don’t have the firepower to keep up. Indiana State dominated defensively their last timeout holding La Tech to just 51 points. Expect the to force a lot of difficult shots from Ball State and allow no open shooting lanes. We’re on the Magic here as they take on the Knicks Saturday. Orlando is one of those difficult teams to deal with as they’re not only deep, but they are so good defensively. They give up only 113 ppg and they play with a ton of pressure. They don’t give up many second chances at the rim and they matchup well with the Knicks in this spot. This is a lengthy road trip that continues for the Knicks and this is a tough spot after dealing with the the Mavs and Heat to start it. Grab the home side.

This is a good situational spot on Portland, as the Warriors will struggle after a long road trip with the tempo. Back Portland.

Utah is worth a move here grabbing this many points. Utah is 5-9, but they’ve been sneaky good offensively and they can score. They’re averaging nearly 120 ppg and while their defense is suspect, they have playmakers all over the floor offensively. Lauri Markkanen is averaging over 30 ppg to set the tone for them and this team tends to go when he does. This is a spot where OKC will overlook them a bit, especially on the road, and this will be a game they can keep this closer than the number indicates. Back Utah.

LSU is the move laying the points. The Tigers come in 4-0 and all 4 wins have been blowouts so far. This team is built with both outside threats and they can control the paint on both ends of the floor. LSU has averaged 98.5 ppg so far and they love to get up and down the floor incredibly quick. They’re going to overwhelm this Omaha defense, that is giving up over 86 ppg themselves and they’ve stumbled out the gates. Expect LSU to dictate play on both ends of the floor in a lopsided game. This is far too many points with the style Marist and Army both play at as this has a feel of a low scoring, grind it out kind of game. Back Army.

Toronto is the move as they take on Phili. The 76ers are just far too inconsistent to trust. They continue to battle injuries with Embiid once again and overall they just lack that ability to build off wins. Toronto is a tough team to matchup with as well. They play quick and they can come at you from many different angles. They’re averaging nearly 120 ppg and they’ll push the ball in transition against this 76ers defense. Hofstra is worth a move as they take on Temple. Hofstra has won back to back games and the latest was an impressive win over Bucknell that saw the score 83 points in the win. Hofstra has been a streaky team so far, but when they’re on offensively they can shoot from anywhere on the floor. They’re averaging over 82 ppg offensively so far and Temple will have their hands full after a loss to Boston College. Hofstra will pick up the pace on this game as they’re going to keep it close throughout with their ability to attack the rim and score. Back Hofstra.

The Suns have value as they take on Portland. The Trail Blazers hot start has cooled off as they’ve dropped 4 of 5 and they’re skidding right now. Their struggles have come on the defensive end as they’ve allowed 140 and 138 points in their last two games. Phoenix is off collapse against Atlanta, but they still had won 5 straight prior to the loss. Phoenix is still playing exceptionally well on both sides of the balls, but defensively they’ve been phenomenal. Santa Clara is off to a hot start and this is a great spot for them to lay the points. They have a started off 4-0 which includes impressive wins over Xavier and Nevada. They are putting up nearly 87 ppg as they’re just simply overwhelming teams at this point. Idaho State has dropped 2 straight and they just don’t have the firepower to keep up here. This is a game where Santa Clara is going to get out and push the tempo on them an we’ll see plenty of quick and easy buckets for them. Back Santa Clara.

Fresno State has value catching points at home. Stephen F Austin is 4-0 to start the campaign, but they’re being very overvalued in this spot. Fresno State is a physical side and they’re only giving up 66 ppg so far. They have been able to work well on both ends of the floor controlling the paint and their size is going to give SFA a lot of issues on Tuesday. Fresno State will control the pace and really turn this game into a grind which will give them the edge. Back Fresno State.

The Cavs are the move against a Bucks team that is reeling right now. Milwaukee just can’t get any momentum going. They’re stuck around .500 and they’re not producing much consistency on either end of the floor. Cleveland meanwhile is continuing to get better and better as this team is one of the deepest in the league. The Cavs go as Mitchell goes and he’s off a 30 point performance against Memphis on Saturday. This is a great spot for the Cavs to come out quickly and keep their foot on the gas. Back the Cavs.

Drake is the move as they take on Charleston. This is a good spot on the Bulldogs, who could easily be 4-0 right now. Both losses came by 2 points each and they are going to be a tough defense to crack in this matchup. They’re giving up only 66 ppg so far and they don’t allow many 2nd chances when it comes to rebounding. Charleston’s defense is far worse and giving up over 75 ppg. This is a good spot on Drake.

The Raptors are the move against the Pacers. Indiana is just terrible and things aren’t going to get any better. They were blown out by the Suns last time out and they’re now 1-11 to start the year. They have struggled to score and they’re not stopping anyone defensively. Toronto is averaging nearly 120 ppg and this offense will have a field day with a Pacers side that has had its issues with fast tempo teams. Toronto is the better team and the Pacers right now just have zero confidence or momentum to build off of. Back Toronto.

Phoenix is the move as they take on Indiana. This is just a case of two teams going in complete opposite directions. The Pacers are 1-10 out of the gate and this team just has nothing going for them. Indiana is averaging just 109 ppg while giving up 121 as they have struggled to just get anything going on either side of the ball. The Suns have started off well and they’re red hot, winning 5 of 6 to start the month of November. Phoenix is going to pick apart this Pacers defense, as they have plenty of outside threats and a good inside presence to overwhelm them. Back Phoenix.

Cornell is worth a move on Thursday. The Big Red have started 0-2 after running into two tough opponents in Kent and Illinois State. They are still an offense that can shoot lights out from behind the arc and they’ll give Lafayette a ton of issues. Lafayette has lost to both D 1 schools they’ve played and this offense just struggles when it comes to finding their rhythm. Cornell has a lot of length and they’ll have the edge on both sides of the floor.

The Clippers are the move here as they take on the Nuggets. This a good situational spot on LA, who will go up against a Denver team that just had to play a tough game against the Kings on Tuesday night. We’ve seen teams struggle with back to backs so far this season and the Clippers have to get themselves going. While Denver did grab a win against the Kings, they’re still just 2-2 away from home and this Clippers team is going to turn this game very physical. Expect them to wear down the Nuggets as this game goes on. Back LA.

The Mavs have value against the Suns on Wednesday night. Dallas has started off historically bad and it led to them firing GM Nico Harrison. They will turn the page on the franchise and look to move forward as they try to get into the win column. This is a good spot against the Suns, who have struggled at times this season defensively. They’re giving up over 116 ppg and they have had issues when it comes to stopping teams in transition. The Mavs play quick and will push the tempo on them here, in a game where they’ll come out with a ton of motivation at home. Back Dallas.

My first CBB play of the season. It’s Indiana State and SIUE battling on Monday and this is a great spot on Indiana State. The Sycamores are 1-1 and routed Illinois Tech to grab their first win. While obviously this is a step up in competition, this is a good matchup for an Indiana State team that loves to play a physical style. They’ll work to wear down SIUE on both ends of the floor and this will be the kind of game where they can open up a lot of shooting lanes as the game goes deeper. Back Indiana State.

The Cavs are the move as they lay the points against Chicago. Cleveland has picked things up and they look like they have returned to top form. They dominated the Wizards on Friday and the Bulls just don’t matchup well with them. Cleveland’s inside presence of Allen and Mobley are going to cause so many issues in the paint on both ends of the floor. Cleveland will dictate the pace and have Chicago’s defense, that gives up nearly 116 ppg, on their heels.

Dallas is the move with the points on Friday. The Mavericks have been incredibly underwhelming so far this season, but this is a great spot for them. Memphis has enough drama ongoing with Morant and they are going to struggle in this matchup. Dallas is going to play a physical game and lean on their defense to knock the Grizzlies out of rhythm. Dallas allowed just 101 points last time out and Memphis has had a ton of issues shooting the ball. Back Dallas.

Phoenix and Los Angeles play in the lone NBA game on the slate Thursday. We’re on the Suns here laying the points. Phoenix is much better than their 3-5 record so far, but they’ve also been solid at home. They come in 3-1 on the year at home and they matchup well with the Clippers. Los Angeles has dropped 2 in a row and this defense has been very inconsistent. They’ve given up 120 an 126 in the 2 losses and the Suns speed will be a difference maker here. Lay the small number as Phoenix can wear down this Clippers defense.

Portland is the move here as they take on the Lakers. Los Angeles is on the 2nd leg of a back to back where they played a track meet against Miami on Sunday night. Now they go up against a young Portland team that is red hot. They’ve won 3 straight and they’re averaging over 121 ppg. Look for them to pick up the pace on the Lakers right from the start and have them on their heels all night long. Back Portland.

Wizards +9.5

Orlando enters this matchup looking completely out of sync. The Magic have 1 win against the spread in 6 games this season and just 3 wins in their last 10 overall. Their defense, once considered a strength, has fallen apart early — allowing 120 PPG and struggling mightily in transition. Even when they get ahead, they’ve failed to protect leads late, which has cost them multiple winnable games. On the other side, the Wizards (1-4) will look to stop a 3-game losing streak, and they’ll bring energy and pace to do it. Washington’s young core isn’t afraid to run, and they’ve quietly hung around against tougher teams despite the record. They're capable of lighting it up, this group can keep things close when their offense gets rolling. The Wiz have nothing to fear here — this is a perfect spot to go get it done. Given Orlando’s shaky defense and poor ATS record, there’s clear value in grabbing the points with Washington. The Wizards’ tempo and offensive upside make them a live dog, and this feels like the night they finally cash in. Take Washington to cover and potentially pull off the upset.

The Bucks are rolling right now — 4-0 ATS, 7-1 ATS in their last 8 at home, and Giannis looks flat-out unstoppable. He’s averaging over 36 PPG and has hung 30+ in 3 of his last 5 against the Warriors. Milwaukee’s also won 4 of the last 5 home matchups against Golden State, proving this building hasn’t been kind to the visitors. Golden State comes in off that 98-79 win over the Clippers, but this defense hasn’t looked right yet. They’re still sitting near the bottom of the league in efficiency and now have to deal with Giannis and a confident Bucks squad that just stormed back from double digits to beat the Knicks. That’s a veteran team finding its groove. Bucks catching points at home with Giannis? I’ll take that every time. Give me Milwaukee +3.5.

Boston and Cleveland renew their rivalry and we’re on the Celtics as a home dog. Things have been a struggle without Tatum to start the year, but the Celtics always find a way to give Cleveland issues. Boston has momentum finally after throttling the Pelicans last time out and they finally found their offensive groove that put up 122 points. This is a tough spot for Cleveland as they have played a lot of games the past week and will have another contest Friday night back home. Situationally, Boston is in a good spot and they will have a fatigued Cavs side defensively. Back Boston.

The 76ers are the move as they take on Orlando. Philadelphia is out of the gates fast and they’re doing it with their offense. They’re averaging 121 ppg and they’re pushing the tempo to the extreme. We’ve seen them get up and down the floor quickly and they’re overwhelming teams in transition. Orlando is just 1-3 and giving up 126.3 ppg so far this season. Orlando is the move against the 76ers. The Magic will head on the road for the first time this season and this is a spot where they can cause issues for Phili. Orlando has an attack that will allow them to get some quick transition buckets and push the tempo on Philadelphia. This is too nice of a number to pass up. Expect this game to be close throughout. The Raptors tip off earlier with the World Series in town and they have value against Milwaukee. Toronto throttled the Hawks in their opener, putting up 138 points in the process. This offense plays with a ton of speed and they aren’t shy about getting out in transition. Milwaukee allowed 120 points to a weak Wizards side and they’re going to struggle slowing down this Raptors offensive attack. Look for Toronto to get out and run, pushing the tempo on Milwaukee. Toronto is the move as they lay a small number. Back the Raptors.

The Nuggets are the move as they open the season against the Warriors. Golden State defeated the Lakers opening night, but this is a completely different matchup against the Nuggets. Denver is deep and has far more talent than LA, as they’re going to cause a lot of issues for Golden State. Jokic averaged 35.5 ppg in two meetings with Golden State last year and the Warriors just don’t have a solution for him defensively. Denver has the edge on both ends of the floor and getting points with them is a valuable play. Back Denver.

The Thunder are the move here against the Pacers on Thursday. Oklahoma City won a double overtime thriller against Houston on opening night and this team looks poised to make another run at the title. They are just so deep and they can come at teams from so many different angles. We saw them dominate the paint against Houston and the Pacers defensively just don’t have a match for it. Indiana struggled last year with quick teams and they’re going to have their hands full with this Thunder attack. With Haliburton out, the Pacers will struggle early in the season to find their groove. Back the Thunder.

Toronto is the move here as they take on Atlanta. Toronto returns their two key plays in RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl. Both played a huge part in any success they had last season and they added a few pieces around them in the offseason. Brandon Ingram will be the biggest key to join them as he brings in 23 ppg. They also added Immanuel Quickley, who will provide a huge boost with his 17.1 ppg. Toronto is a much deeper team heading into this season and the Hawks are still going to be a mess defensively. This is a great opening night spot on Toronto. Back the Raptors.

New York looks to avoid elimination again as they head into Indiana for Game 6. New York blew out the Pacers in Game 5 as this team has been a roller coaster all postseason. They’re riding the momentum right now and this is a game where they’ll lean on their experience. The vets like Brunson and KAT are going to be the ones to step up again and they will set the tone in this game. New York has the experience playing and winning these eliminations games and they know they can flip the script by sending this series back to MSG. The Knicks are just 2-5 ATS here inside the Garden and Indiana still has all the momentum right now. The Thunder look to close the West out on Wednesday when they welcome in the Timberwolves for Game 5. Oklahoma City was blown out in Game 3, but have looked flawless in all 3 of the other games this series. They’re getting things done on both ends of the floor and right now, Minnesota just can’t stop them offensively. The Thunder have showcased they can attack the rim, while also opening up many different shooting lanes for their outside threats. They’re putting up over 117 ppg in the postseason and Minnesota just can’t slow them down. Look for OKC to put their foot on the gas early in this one and not let up. Back the Thunder.

Indiana is the move in Game 3 as they have a chance to take control of this series completely. It’s odd seeing Indiana as a favorite as they’ve been an underdog in almost every game this postseason and they’ve covered or won a majority of them. The Knicks right now aren’t getting contributions they need from their depth and the Pacers are creating a lot of clean looks offensively. The Pacers are wearing down the Knicks as the game goes on and this will be a spot where they do the same and have a lot of energy from this crowd behind them. Back Indiana.

The Pacers are the move here as they take on the Knicks in Game 2. Indiana stormed back in Game 1 and stole it once again as they come in with all the momentum now. There is going to be some nervous energy in this building and this is going to be a game where the Pacers can play much looser. This is just too many points in this spot as the Pacers are playing with such confidence right now. Indiana can match the shooting of the Knicks and they’re just as physical. Oklahoma City and Minnesota meet in the Western Conference Finals. The Thunder have good value here at home. Oklahoma City dominated Denver in Game 7 as they continued to force turnovers. Their defense seems to pick up the energy at home, as they forced 75 turnovers in total over the 4 home games in that series. That’s going to be the difference here as the Timberwolves are going to have their hands full trying to create open looks. All season long, the Thunder leaned on their defense and they’re doing that again here in the postseason. Look for them to make a statement in Game 1 and frustrate Minnesota all night long. The Celtics are the move here in Game 6 as they try and send this series back to Boston. While they’re obviously without Tatum, this team still has plenty of talent to go around and they showed that in Game 5 as they forced this series back to MSG. Boston has 6 players score in double figures and they had the guys stepping up all over the place in Game 5. Pritchard and White both set the tone and they have the depth to beat this Knicks side. Look for Boston to put their emphasis on the defensive end and they can turn defense into offense after forcing turnovers. This is a game where Brown can step up in a big way and Boston can send this back home for Game 7. Grab the points.

The Thunder are the move as they try to close out the Nuggets. Oklahoma City took a 3-2 lead as they got some clutch shots down the stretch of Game 5. Denver has had their chances to take control of this series and they’ve failed late and now they’re going to have their backs against the wall here. Their lack of depth has been a giant issue during this series as they’re asking a ton of different players to step up after playing nearly the entire game. The opposite can be said for OKC, who has plenty of weapons off the bench. They’ve worn down the Nuggets and this is a game where Denver is going to run out of gas. Grab the Thunder.

The Thunder are the move as they return home even at 2-2. The Nuggets had their chance and couldn’t close out Game 4 as now all the momentum is with the Thunder and they’ll have the crowd energy behind them. The Thunder are going to put the clamps down defensively like they did in the 4th quarter of Game 4 as the Nuggets had no answer at the rim. The Thunder dominating all season by leaning on their defense and that’s going to be the difference once again. This will be a game dominated by the Thunder on both ends of the floor and keep their foot on the gas throughout. Back the Thunder.

Cleveland is worth a move here in Game 4. After getting back to 100% health team wise, the Cavs throttled the Pacers in Game 3. They have all the momentum and this is another case where they can put their foot on the gas and come out firing. Mitchell having the support of Garland and Mobley not only gives the team depth, but it allows for plenty more options on the floor. Cleveland is the better team and they’ll have all the confidence to even this series up in another blowout fashion. Back Cleveland.

The Celtics are the move in Game 3 as the series shifts to MSG. Boston blew huge leads in both Games 1 and 2 and now are in pretty much do or die mode entering Game 3. Despite being down 2-0, they still held double digit leads in both games and they’re the better overall team. They I’ll put an emphasis on coming out with the same fire and holding the lead this time. Boston is still deeper and they’re not going to shoot as bad as they’ve shot from behind the arc. They were one of the best in the regular season, shooting at a 37% clip from behind the arc. This will be a game they’re going to dictate everything and not take their foot off the gas. Cleveland is down 2-0 after blowing a 20 point lead in Game 2 in Cleveland. This is pretty much a must win and while they still have some players questionable, they’re still a valuable pick. Cleveland led for 4/5 of the game without the likes of Garland and Mobley and a couple of missed calls down the stretch costed them. Cleveland is still the better team here and Mitchell is the best player on the court. Look for Cleveland to come out with that same grind mentality and win this game on the defensive end. They let their guard down in the 4th quarter after playing relentless defense for 3 quarters in Game 2. They’re still the better team and have the value here. Back Cleveland.

Golden State has the value here catching a lot of points. Even without Steph Curry, the Warriors are going to keep this close. Golden State is going to slow this pace down and really put an emphasis on this game being low scoring. They showcased they can frustrate teams with their defensive ability after having Houston clearly struggling to find open shots in the first round. Look for this to be a defensive struggle and for this game to be won with their 102 ppg against during this postseason. The Warriors have enough vets still on their team to keep this close. This is a prime bounce back spot for Cleveland. The Cavaliers fell in Game 1 and it took the Pacers having an unreal shooting night to beat them by just a few. This is too many points for the Knicks here in Game 1. New York and Boston typically provide a lot of scrappy games where both teams play with a lot of intensity. That is going to be the case here as the Knicks are going to do everything they can to wear down Boston. They allowed just 106.7 ppg during the series win and they'll put an emphasis on closing out on these outside shooters. The Clippers have the value here as they take on the Nuggets on Monday in Game 2. Denver threw everything they had at LA in Game 1 and saw 4 of their starters rack up 45+ minutes in what was eventually a 2 point Denver win. The Clippers can still come in with plenty of confidence as they are right there with Denver in this series after Game 1. They saw they can go toe to toe and Denver still hasn't looked like themselves as of late. They are just 2-13 ATS in their last 15 home games and this will be a game where the Clippers come out with a lot of aggression. They're going to wear down this Nuggets side as this game gets deeper. The Mavericks are the move grabbing the points. Dallas came out with a purpose in their play in game against the Kings and took it to them right from the start. Morant also continues to battle an ankle injury and even if he gives it a go tonight, he’s not going to be at 100%. Dallas has all the tools to compete with Memphis and they can score with their tempo. Grab the points in what will be a closer game than expected.

We're on the Magic here as they take on the Hawks in the NBA Play-in. The Magic were a struggle in the first half of the season, but as this team got healthier, their play got significantly better. Orlando is going to have the Hawks off their rhythm and really put the pressure on defensively. The Gators are the move in the Championship against Houston. At one point, Houston had a 1% chance of winning against Duke and somehow mounted a crazy comeback to win. While they deserve a ton of credit for being here, they’re going to run into a gauntlet of Florida. This Gators team is so physical and they will wear down Houston on Monday. Florida did that exactly to Auburn as the deeper the game went, the more of a struggle the Tigers had of scoring. Florida will force a lot of turnovers and they crash the boards as good as any team. They will overpower Houston and control the paint on both ends of the floor. This is the Gators’ season and they’re far too good and playing too well to pass up on. Back Florida.

Duke and Houston clash and we’re on Duke here. The Blue Devils are just simply running through the opposition right now. They beat up Alabama right from the start, as they routed them by 20 in the Elite 8. Duke is dominating on both ends of the floor, which was their theme all season. While Arizona got them into a track meet, Duke gave up 49, 66, and 65 in their other 3 wins this tourney. Duke has too much firepower for Houston. The Cougars don’t play quick and the Blue Devils can get them with their transition game. Back Duke.

Miami takes on Milwaukee and we’re getting a good line on the Heat. Miami dealt all season with the Butler drama, but this team handled it well and they continue to battle for postseason positioning. They’re off a buzzer beating loss to Memphis, but this team is still playing very well and they’re extremely confident coming into play here. Miami will get some key pieces back here and Milwaukee will have their hands full with this defense. Miami ranks 4th in the league in victories, with a defensive rating of 104.3 in wins. Florida and Auburn meet in the Final 4 and this is a great spot on the Gators. Florida has looked like the best team in the NCAA many times this season and throughout the tournament as they continue to do everything right. The Tigers have had some issues at times and the physicality of Florida is going to be tough for them. The Celtics are the move here on Saturday. This road trip has been a successful one for the Celtics and this is a clear cut mismatch on Saturday. Boston has covered all 4 games of this road trip and they’re doing it in pretty convincing fashion. This is typically the time they really turn things on so close to the playoffs and the Spurs just don’t have the firepower to keep up. The Spurs have been a mess defensively, giving up over 123 ppg in their last 15 and Boston’s offense will have a field day. Look for them to suffocate the Cougars outside threats and they have the length inside to now allow anything easy at the rim. Auburn and Michigan meet in the Sweet 16 and we're playing the Tigers here. Michigan needed a huge run late to knock off A&M and stay in the tourney, but this is going to be a much tougher task for them. The Tigers showcased they can score in flurries against Creighton and they can go on runs at any time. Auburn averaged nearly 84 ppg during the regular season and they have put up 83 and 82 points in their wins so far during the tournament. They've also held the opposition to just 63 and 70 points, which ultimately will be the difference here. They are too good defensively and will frustrate this Michigan side that doesn't have the firepower to keep up. Back Auburn.

The Red Raiders are the move here s they take on Arkansas. Calapari has this Razorbacks team playing at a high level right now, but this is not a good matchup for them. Texas Tech loves to crash the boards and they rarely allow 2nd chances on the defensive end. Combine that with how good this team is defensively and the Razorbacks are going to struggle. Tech is one of the best at suffocating shooters and they gave up just 67.6 ppg in the regular season. This is a mismatch that favors the Red Raiders.

Duke is running wild right now and they have value against Arizona. The Blue Devils have covered 10 of their last 12 and in the two games they failed to cover, they were both without Cooper Flagg. Duke is blowing teams out and this offense is firing way from all over the floor. They've won by double digits 17 out their last 21 wins and Arizona's defense is going to struggle in this matchup. Look for Duke to run and attack in transition, which is going to open up a lot of shooting lanes for these outside threats. Back Duke.

This is a tough spot for Memphis as they take on the Thunder. OKC has dominated this head to head matchup, winning 8 straight in the process against them. They covered the number in 7 of those games and they just always seem to have the edge against Memphis. They are struggling right now with the injuries they have and this is not a team you want to see on your schedule when you're having issues. Back OKC.

The Suns are the move as this team is red hot right now. Phoenix catches the Celtics at the right time for starters as Tatum is likely to sit out. Phoenix knocked off Cleveland and Milwaukee in consecutive games and they’re getting the job done on both ends of the floor. Cleveland State will smother these Illinois State shooters and they shut down the paint as well as any team. Portland is the move against Cleveland. Cleveland finally ended their losing streak, but this team still looks tired and this west coast trip has worn them out. This will be the final game before heading home and they’ll have one eye on going home after the game. Portland is not the team to overlook and they gave Cleveland everything they could handle earlier this season back in Cleveland. Portland has won 4 of their last 5 and they have continued to be solid defensively as of late. In the 4 wins, they’ve held the opposition to 109 points or less. Grab the points here.

The Vikings are the move here in the semi finals of the CBI. The Vikings dominated Queens from start to finish in a game where they blew them away on both ends of the floor. The Cyclones and Ole Miss meet and we’re on Iowa State. The Cyclones ran over Lipscomb in their opening game and they’re playing with a lot of confidence right now. Defensively, they’re giving up just 67.7 ppg and that is ultimately going to be the difference here. They will frustrate this Ole Miss offense and force them into some tough shots. The Cyclones suffocate opposing shooters and they will force a lot of turnovers. Look for this game to be won on the defensive end for ISU, as they’ll put a lot of pressure on early.
