Washington is a big home underdog in the playoffs, a rare sight in the NFL. However, they are well coached by Ron Rivera and have a solid defense led by Chase Young who can slow down TB and Tom Brady.

QB Alex Smith is sure to be the Comeback Player Of The Year and he has been solid and the passing game is decent under McKissic.

I expect Tampa Bay to win by 4 to 7 so take the points.

Seattle just wrapped up a playoff spot while LA is trying to make the playoffs. The Rams were looking ahead and lost to the Jets last week. I think they bounce back with Jared Goff playing well as the Rams are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings.

The Rams have one of the best defenses in the NFL. Seattle will be at home but won't have their electric crowd.

The Patriots play Miami on Sunday and have the better defense. Miami has a young QB (Tua) but has some injury issues. Hopefully, Cam Newton can make a few plays for the visitors who have the better coach in HOFer Bill Belichick.

Mike Zimmer is 64% ATS. I think the Vikings beat Carolina by 3 or more today. Teddy Bridgewater looks to return back to Minnesota and play QB. I expect Kirk Cousins will play well and Cook will run and catch some key passes.

KC is 19-1 straight up since a loss to Green Bay last year. Their only loss was to Las Vegas. I expect Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes will be out for revenge. LV has played well lately but I think we see the Chiefs win by 10 to 14 on Sunday night.

Minnesota hopes to build off a road win at Green Bay as Dalvan Cook was awesome. The Vkings are 0-3 SU at home but are 22-10-3 ATS as a home favorite. Detroit has been up and down but mostly down. 

The Lions seem to make key mistakes on offense, defense and special teams under coach Matt Patricia.

Minny seems to be able to win at home vs. Detroit and I see a win by 7 or more on Sunday.

NE looks to bounce back in a key AFC East game vs. Buffalo. Bellichick knows Josh Allen (Bills QB) well and will play zone to cause problems. NE may win but take the +4.

Both teams are a little overrated. The Rams played poorly last week at San Francisco and should bounce back with Jared Goff. However, the Bears are a solid defense that has Nick Foles at QB who can make solid plays.

I think the Rams win by 4. Take the points on Monday.

Teddy Bridgewater has shown that he has been solid as an underdog. Carolina lost RB Christian MCaffrey a few weeks ago but has bonded and played well.

New Orleans is off a bye and dealt with an injury to WR Michael Thomas. Drew Brees has not shown he can throw the deep ball lately. I think we see Carolina stay within 6 points.

10* Minnesota -3.5

Minny is 19-4-1 ATS after a loss while Atlanta hasn't won and changed coaches. The change may motivate the Falcons but I think we see the Vikings win by 6 or more.

Joe Burrow and Mixon (running back) should help a confident Bengal team stay within 10 to 12 points on Sunday. The Ravens are tough with Lamar Jackson but it is a division game and hard to win by 14+ in the NFL.

The Browns are off a home win and go on the road where they are 0-7 in the past 7. Dallas is giving up lots of points but giving up plenty at Seattle is not a shame.

Dak Prescott and their receivers should play well vs. a Brown's secondary that is banged up. Ezekiel Elliott should be able to run for 50 -75 yards. 

Hopefully, we see the Cowboy defense get up for facing Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham, etc.

New England is off a loss on the road and returns home to face Las Vegas, who won by 10 in their first home game over New Orleans. I expect a letdown for the 2-0 Raiders and for New England (under Bill Belichick) to bounce back and win by 7 or more.

10* NE +4

Seattle is home but won't have a loud/large crowd in their building. NE coach Belichick is rarely an underdog but his team ran for 253 yards last week. Cam Newton can run some and make plays. I see NE +4 as a solid play.

10* Denver +3

Denver is a tough place to play. They are 18-2 SU and 16-3-1 ats in their last 30 home openers. In the first two weeks of the season they are 33-4 SU and 22-11-4 ats since 1989. Monday Night Football non-division underdogs at home in game one are 16-4 ats .

The mile high altitude makes it tough for teams to breathe late in the game. 

Plenty of tape is available on the Titans after their nice run last year.

Take the 3 points.

10* AZ +7.5

Arizona is 5-0-1 ATS in the last 6 vs. SF. The 49ers have some key injuries and no fan support. AZ is in the same division and prepared for the game plan of San Fran. Kyler Murray proved to be a solid runner and passer. Also, we have the Super Bowl loser letdown as we have seen in recent years.

AZ may not win but I think they stay within 7.

The Patriots are -6 to -7 at most sports books. Miami won at NE late last year and the Patriots are 7-0 ATS avenging the Dolphins after a loss. Tom Brady is gone but Cam Newton looks to lead the Patriots at QB. 

Coach Bill Belichick has had plenty of time to get his team ready for the opener.

I think New England wins by 10 to 14 points.

The Chiefs have the better QB. He can run and pass as we have seen.

SF has played the Green Bay Packers twice recently and blown them out. QB Jimmy G. may struggle if the team falls behind.

KC wins the Super Bowl for Andy Reid.

I like the Titans with RB Leonard Henry running well as well as Steve Taneyhill playing well at QB. Coach Mike Vrabel has the Titans playing well. KC is a good team but has struggled to beat Tennessee. 

Take the points as we are getting over a TD.

10* Seattle +4.5

It does worry me that Seattle traveled to Philly last week and travels again while GB is home and rested. However, Pete Carroll is a veteran coach and Russell Wilson knows how to win. Take the points getting +4.5.

10* Wash +13.5

I like the visitors to stay within 13 on Sunday even with the injury to Haskins. This is a rivalry and the Skins have a decent defense and running attack.

10* Indy Colts +3.5

Most have this at +3. I think the Colts bounce back from a bad game from Brissett. TB has been hot lately with Jameis Winston but I expect Indy to win but take the points.

The Seahawks are 21-7-2 ATS at home in prime time in recent years. Russell Wilson seems to thrive in pressure situations while Kirk Cousins has struggled. 

I think we see Seattle win by 3 or more.

Cleveland is just 2-25 SU in Pittsburgh in the last 27 meetings there. The Steelers should be motivated after Helmet-gate which was just 2 weeks ago. Pittsburgh coach Tomin is a solid 8-2-1 ats as an underdog in December. This game is played Dec. 1.

I like Pitt to win but take the points.

Deshawn Watson is a solid QB as an underdog. I think we see the Texans stay within 4 on Sunday.

10* Seahawks +7

Russelll Wilson is a tough QB and can keep it close with his legs running the ball as well as passing to stay within a TD in this rivalry in which they know each other well.

10* Pitt +4.5

Most have this at +4. The Steelers are at home and face an LA team that has to travel cross country. QB Mason Rudolph has done a solid job replacing Big Ben and all we need is for Pittsburgh to stay within a field goal.

NE -3

The Patriots defense has improved. They should be prepared for Baltimore's running game led by QB Lamar Jackson. NE QB Tom Brady should make enough plays to win by 3 or more in what should be an interesting game to watch.

The Bears have struggled lately while Philly has gotten healthy and just won at Buffalo. I think we see the Eagles win by 7 to 10 points.

I think we see the Colts win by 7 as they are home and playing well behind QB Jacoby Brissett and surprising all after Luck retired.

Denver has been a disappointment and they are away from Mile High Stadium.

Washington is off a 9-0 home loss in the road. Surely, former Viking plays A. Peterson and Case Keenum will be motivated and so will the Skins defense facing former QB Kirk Cousins.

The line is 16.5 or higher and I like that. I like that many points.

I like the Packers to win by 3 or more at home on Monday behind the play of QB Aaron Rodgers. Detroit has been solid so kudos to Matt Patricia and company. GB will focus as this game is a division game and they expect low 40's temps.

I think we see Carolina win by 4 to 6 points led by Christian McCaffrey.

This game takes place in London. I like the Bears defense to control the game and Chicago to win by 7 or more.

I like Daniel Jones to play smart. He has a solid running game with Saquan Barkeley. I think we see TB win by 4 points.

10* Washington +10 

I like the Redskins getting double digits in the opener in this NFC battle. The Eagles should win by 3 to 7 points. Take Washington +10.

Cleveland is no longer an underdog and will face lots of pressure. Tennessee should be able to run the ball and make some key plays to stay within 6 points.

I like the experience of Tom Brady and coach Belichick. Sony Michel can run the ball. Edelman and Gronk can catch it and the Patriot defense bends but doesn't break.

I like the underdogs on Sunday led by QB Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick. KC played well last week but the Patriots have experience in the playoffs and should be motivated being an underdog. NE has seen the offensive attack of the Chiefs when they played earlier this year.

The Eagles should be able to stay within the number on Sunday. New Orleans are tough at home and have future Hall Of Famer Drew Brees at QB but the Eagles have pride and confidence after winning at Chicago.

I like the Patriots at home to win by 4 or more. Brady has been off a week and the Chargers have to travel back east again. The NE coach should have plenty of tricks up his sleeve for Philip Rivers.

The Colts are a hot team. They have a QB with experience while KC has Pat Mahomes, who may be the MVP. I think we see Indy stay within 5 points as the Chiefs defense is below average.

The Eagles have been a hot team. Their defense is solid and so is their QB play. Chicago is at home and should win but take the points!

The Chargers have been solid on the road and should be motivated after losing to the Ravens recently. QB Phillip Rivers has been solid and RB Melvin Gordon should be healthy. Take the points vs. a Baltimore team that has a QB with no playoff experience.

The Bills are now -4.5 to -5 as they expect cold weather in Buffalo on Sunday. Miami won earlier at home vs. the Bills 21-17. Buffalo is off a loss to NE but they are 23-3 ats vs. below .500 teams after playing New England. The Bills are #2 in defensive yards allowed. I think we wee the home team, who is 5-1 ats in their Last Home Game, win by 10.
