09-26-20 | West Virginia v. Oklahoma State -6.5 | 13-27 | Win | 100 | 17 h 19 m | Show
West Virginia at Oklahoma State 3:30 ET Cowboys (-) over Mountaineers- Oklahoma State under coach Mike Gundy have not been know for their defense but, after losing quarterback Spencer Sanders it was just that. The Cowboys defense was dominant in their opening victory over Tulsa keeping the Golden Hurricane from converting on third downs (0-12) and allowing just 278 total yards. On offense OSU used three different QB's and their lack of efficiency allowed Tulsa to key on Chuba Hubbard who had only 93 yards rushing after averaging over 170 on the ground last season. West Virginia crushed a dismal FCS Eastern Kentucky team 56-10 and led 42-7 at the half. They will find the going a lot tougher this week. The Mountaineers have traditionally be weak on the road even when they have 'good' teams but the are just 4-9 ATS as a road dog and 5-15-2 ATS in their last 22 games as an underdog and 0-4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. After last week's poor offensive effort I expect more from the Cowboys this week as they are 5-0 ATS in their last five games after scoring less then 20 points. Ok. St. is 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games against teams with winning records. Take OKLAHOMA STATE! |

09-26-20 | Army v. Cincinnati -12.5 | Top | 10-24 | Win | 100 | 18 h 60 m | Show |
Army at Cincinnati 3:30 ET Bearcats (-) over Black Knights- Both of these clubs are ranked in the Top-25 but they have come from different directions. The Army ranked No. 22 was 5-8 last season and are 2-0 after beating powerhouses Middle Tennessee State and Louisiana-Monroe outscoring them 79-7. No. 16 Cincinnati is off of a pair of 11-win seasons and return 16 starters. The true reason the Cadets received a Top-25 ranking is because of a number of other conferences that haven't played yet. The Knights are 0-20 against ranked opponents. Army is 1-4 in their last five road games and 1-5 ATS against a team with a winning record. Bearcats 6-2 ATS in last eight home games. Take CINCINNATI! |
09-19-20 | Miami-FL +3 v. Louisville | Top | 47-34 | Win | 100 | 22 h 26 m | Show |
Miami at Louisville 7:30 ET Hurricanes (+) over Cardinals- Both these clubs opened with non-conference win last week as Louisville dispatched Western Kentucky 35-21 and Miami took down UAB 31-14. The Cardinals should have revenge on their minds after getting destroyed 55-27 in Miami last season. The hurricanes were only 7-7 last season and torched the Louisville defense for six TD passes. Yet, Miami wasn't that good last year and have transfer D'Eriq King from Houston and his quick feet and passing remind many of Kyler Murray now with Arizona Cardinals. Miami is looking to rebuild their programs football reputation and it continues here. Take the HURRICANES! |
09-19-20 | Central Florida -7.5 v. Georgia Tech | 49-21 | Win | 100 | 18 h 5 m | Show
Central Florida at Georgia Tech 3:30 ET Panthers (-) over Yellow Jackets- Georgia Tech pull off an opening week 16-13 upset win over Florida State as a 16-point underdogs. It isn't as though the Engineers dominated the game and more like the Seminoles are still really bad. Even after that win Tech is just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as underdogs and 0-6 ATS in their last six non-conference games. Central Florida is 4-1 in n on-conference games and will be welcoming the return of Dillon Gabriel at quarterback and as a true freshman threw for a record setting 3,653 yards. Look for USF to exploit the poor Tech kicking game as they had two-extra points and a field goal blocked last week. Take CENTRAL FLORIDA! |
09-19-20 | South Florida v. Notre Dame -23.5 | 0-52 | Win | 100 | 17 h 23 m | Show
South Florida at Notre Dame 2:30 ET Fighting Irish (-) over Bulls- Last week 'we' faded Notre Dame by taking Duke +20 and won 'covering' 13-27 which was their ACC debut. South Florida also posted a 27-6 win over The Citadel who may be the weakest team in college football and still the Bulldogs who were only 4-18 passing for 84 yards but were able to run for 200 yards on 54 carries. The Bulls close3d last season with four straight losses and Charlie Strong was given his walking papers; and replaced by Jeff Scott who is going to find out what a beating under the Golden Dome is like...He won't like it! Take NOTRE DAME! |
09-12-20 | Western Kentucky +12.5 v. Louisville | Top | 21-35 | Loss | -115 | 21 h 43 m | Show |
Western Kentucky at Louisville 8:00 ET Hilltoppers (+) over Cardinals- Last season two 'new' head coaches took over struggling programs and show the most improvement and biggest turnaround in the entire NCAA. Western Kentucky under first year coach Tyson Helton brought his club from 3-9 in 2018 to 9-4 and a bowl win in 2019. At Louisville after Lamar Jackson left the Cardinals dropped to 2-10 and rebound under Scott Satterfield to 8-5 both clubs improved by six wins. Last season the Cardinal went to Nashville as a 11-point favorite and now at home after winning on the road 38-21 they come up the same number. I believe the oddsmaker is telling 'us' W. Ky has a shot. They are 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven road games and 36-16 in their last 52 as underdogs. Louisville is 4-1 ATS in their last five non-conference games but just 4-9 ATS as home favorites. Take the HILLTOPPERS! |
09-12-20 | Duke +20.5 v. Notre Dame | 13-27 | Win | 100 | 15 h 12 m | Show
Duke at Notre Dame 2:30 ET Blue Devils (+) over Fighting Irish- Hey, why am I able to say 'Fighting Irish' when I can't say Orangemen. Oh well, last season Notre Dame destroyed the Devils 38-7 while the last time these two met under the Golden Dome Duke upset the Irish 38-35 in 2016. Different folks this time around for both sides as Duke is coming off a 5-7 season missing a bowl game for the second time in four years. But, what this game will be known is that it is the first Conference game ever for formally independent Notre Dame now a member of the ACC. The Irish are 7-2 ATS in their last nine home games and the Devils are 10-3 ATS in September but just 1-4 as road underdogs. Still, Duke needs to atone for last season's embarrassment. Take the BLUE DEVILS! |
09-10-20 | UAB +14.5 v. Miami-FL | 14-31 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 40 m | Show
U-AB at Miami-Fl 8:00 ET Blazers (+) over Hurricanes- There are many questions surrounding this Miami Hurricane team that has been turmoil for nearly a decade. From campus shootings gang rapes and other egregious offensive Miami jettisoned their coach and handed the reins to Marc Reich who returned to his amalgamate only to leave a year later. But, shooting and criminal offensives are down and so are the wins. Under first year head coach the Canes dropped their final three and closed the season 6-7. UAB who was out of NCAA football a few years ago was 9-5 last season losing it's final two games the final in the championship game. This year is UAB that has lost a player to a shooting as linebacker Allen Merrick was a life that mattered. This season they opened with a 45-35 win over C. Arkansas. With a game under their belt would gravitate toward the Blazers but their is an X-factor that I have yet to mention. Transfer D'Eriq King accounted for 50 touchdowns 36 passing and 14 running with the Houston Cougars and is now behind center for Miami. Even with King until I see a more disciplined Miami team that has more fight than dog in it I'm taking the points! Take BLAZERS! |
09-07-20 | BYU v. Navy +1 | Top | 55-3 | Loss | -104 | 19 h 45 m | Show |
B.Y.U. at Navy 8:00 ET Midshipman (+) over Cougars- As always there are a number of ways to approach any game as there is here. BYU has one of the more prolific NCAA passers in Zach Wilson who has thrown for 3,960 yards in two seasons the second of which he missed significant time due to injury. Navy of course is a ground game school (go figure) and led the nation with 360 yards per game in 2019 but now they will be without Malcom Perry who ran for 2017 yards of an overall 3,700 team yards rushing. It won't matter and I'll tell you why after I slip this in. Navy is 7-1 ATS in their last eight at home and 13-3-1 ATS in their last 16 overall and add that the Cougars are 0-7 ATS in their last seven as favorites, but those are not the sole reason 'we' should have the Middies. You know, during the COVID time and even without it the Navy does not take days off. They are together all year long, this is a job, it is their service and they are in sync and have an early season advantage over the others. And by the way, if the line moves Navy is 20-8 ATS at home as favorites..Take NAVY! |
01-13-20 | Clemson +6.5 v. LSU | Top | 25-42 | Loss | -115 | 25 h 57 m | Show |
Clemson vs L.S.U. 8:00 ET Tigers (+) over Tigers- Okay, I must admit that LSU has had the more impressive resume and have shown to me that they were the best team in college football this year with the best quarterback. But, I am old school and don't believe the 'Champion' can be displaced until beaten. Clemson was undefeated last year and was crowned the Nation Champions and they have yet to lose this year, like boxing to me you 'must' defeat the champ. The 'public' of course is enamored with Louisiana State with Joe Burrow leading the way it is hard not to root for a team that defeated Alabama, Auburn and Georgia and everyone else they played and even the 'sharps' laying the points. The rap of Clemson is their scheduLe strength but they have proven worthy and will rise as an underdog (once again) here. Take CLEMSON! |
01-02-20 | Tennessee v. Indiana +3 | 23-22 | Win | 100 | 7 h 33 m | Show
Tennessee vs Indiana 7:00 ET Hoosiers (+) over Volunteers- Tennessee started the season slowly losing their opener to Georgia State and won just one of their first five games. The Vols closed the season winning six of seven including their last five in-a-row. Indiana has ben under-valued the entire season as they are 6-2 ATS against teams with winning records and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS loss. Although Tennessee is 6-1 ATS in their last seven they are just 4-10 ATS when favorites. Take INDIANA! |
01-01-20 | Baylor v. Georgia -4 | 14-26 | Win | 100 | 26 h 5 m | Show
Baylor vs Georgia 5:45 ET Bulldogs (-) over Bears- These two clubs are so similar in style and play this season it is only fitting that they meet here. Baylor lost to only one team this season but they did lose twice to Oklahoma while Georgia who played for the SEC championship and were completely out-classed by LSU (who hasn't been) has had a tougher overall schedule. I can give you plenty of trends that will enhance your viewpoint of the Baylor Bears, for example they are 24-9 ATS in their last 33 as an underdog and that they re 5-0 in their last five games overall, but. When teams meet in bowl games the conference strength goes a long way and the Bears sadly are just 2-7-1 in their last 10 non-conference games. Georgia is 8-2 ATS on neutral sites, 8-1 ATS as favorites and 5-1 ATS in their last six bowl games. Take the BULLDOGS! |
01-01-20 | Wisconsin -2.5 v. Oregon | Top | 27-28 | Loss | -119 | 23 h 16 m | Show |
Wisconsin vs Oregon 5:00 ET Badgers (-) over Ducks- My oh my...The Ducks win the Pac-12 crushing favored Utah and now they show up in the Rose Bowl ands underdog to the Big Ten loser Wisconsin. What I am thinking here is that the Big Ten is that much stronger both physically and probably mentally than their west coast opponents. The Badgers had Ohio State by the short hairs in the Championship game but let it slip away as a 14-point underdog that covered in the loss. I don't know if you get what I'm driving at but I will have the Badgers and so should you. Take WISCONSIN! |
01-01-20 | Minnesota +7.5 v. Auburn | 31-24 | Win | 100 | 19 h 35 m | Show
Minnesota vs Auburn 1:00 ET Golden Gophers (+) over Tigers- I think the under-laying thoughts about this game will be that Minnesota had their chances and just could meet the test that makes them worthy. Auburn had their shortcoming yes but they defeated Alabama and that carries a lot of weight...too much. Tigers quarterback Nike Coe is sitting out this one to prepare for the NFL draft (let me tell you kid, you are NOT ready now and can use all the playing time you can get). The 'cats have had a great season and are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games overall while the Golden Gophers will be looking to show people why they are 7-2 ATS as an underdog in last nine and 17-6 ATS after a loss. Take MINNESOTA! |
01-01-20 | Michigan +8 v. Alabama | Top | 16-35 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 54 m | Show |
Michigan vs Alabama 1:00 ET Wolverines (+) over Crimson Tide- I am really looking forward to watching this contest as there is much to be learned about the Crimson Tide as to who they play this game. Michigan after the way they closed the season getting absolutely destroyed by Ohio State will be ready to erase the memory of that embarrassment. The Tide has been exposed of late failing 0-5 ATS in their last five against Top-10 teams. I believe that Michigan will show more heart here and we will get o see Nick Saban bitch to officials about his own mistakes. Harbaugh wants this one personally! Take MICHIGAN! |
12-31-19 | Georgia State +7.5 v. Wyoming | 17-38 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 46 m | Show
Georgia State vs Wyoming 4:30 ET Panthers (+) over Cowboys- Wyoming was cruising along at 6-2 before losing quarterback Sean Chambers for the season and dropped three of the final four. Georgia State like Wyoming is 7-5 and opened the season with an outright win at Tennessee defeating the Volunteers 38-30. The Cowboys opened the season with an upset win at Missouri defeating the Tigers outright 37-31 as a 15-point underdog. But, without Chambers they just haven't gotten it done. The Panthers will rely on the Sun Belt's leading rusher Tra Barnett for had 242 yards against Troy.Take GEORGIA STATE! |
12-31-19 | Kansas State +3 v. Navy | Top | 17-20 | Push | 0 | 6 h 1 m | Show |
Navy vs Kansas State 3:45 ET Wildcats (+) over Midshipman- If there is a one-man gang in college football this year it is Navy dual threat quarterback Malcolm Perry who scored 21 touchdowns and ran for over 300 yards against Army. But, I know one thing about Kansas State, they will punish you as witnessed in their dominating win over Oklahoma. The Wildcats QB Skyler Thompson provided 22 TD's with 12 passing and 10 rushing and led a more balanced attack. Trends for the Navy are strong as they are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 over and 5-0 ATS in their last five bowl games but they are 4-9-1 ATS against teams with winning records and they are 1-3-1 ATS on neutral sights. Kansas State can provide you with some ammo as they are 39-19-1 ATS in their last 59 games as an underdog and they are 4-0 ATS in non-conference games. Take KANSAS STATE! |
12-31-19 | Florida State +4.5 v. Arizona State | Top | 14-20 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 23 m | Show |
Florida State vs Arizona State 2:00 ET Seminoles (+) over Sun Devils- Sometimes certain matchups make you do things that you never though you would. For example, here I am backing the Seminoles after having seen them play a putrid season that saw them cover just four of 12 games and ending the year getting blown out 40-17 in their final game against state rival Florida. Arizona State is off of a pair of great wins defeating Oregon and rival Arizona to close the season after four straight losses. So how about this stuff...ASU is 0-8 ATS in their last eight games as a favorite, they are 1-6 ATS on neutral sites, they are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 bowl games and they are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games overall. FSU having a terrible time with Taggart are 3-9-1 ATS as a dog bowl shine in bowl games going 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 and 5-1-1 ATS as a bowl underdog. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
12-30-19 | Virginia +15 v. Florida | Top | 28-36 | Win | 100 | 10 h 38 m | Show |
Virginia vs Florida 8:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Gators- The moment this matchup was established I knew I liked my side and I haven't wavered since. I understand that there are a number of factors that should deter my side such as Florida is 3-0 in the Orange Bowl winning by an average margin of 15 points. I should also add that Virginia hasn't won a bowl games since 1995. For the most part I am not making the selection based on talent but on these teams previous outings. Florida closed the season with three huge wins including their final over arc rival Florida State 40-17 while Virginia was embarrassed and annihilated in the ACC Championship game by Clemson 62-17. Big effort out of the Cavaliers tonight. Take VIRGINIA! |
12-30-19 | Illinois v. California -6 | 20-35 | Win | 100 | 6 h 36 m | Show
Illinois vs California 4:00 ET Golden Bears (-) over Illini- California should have a distinct crowd advantage as their Berkeley campus is less than an hour away from the game site in Santa Clara. Illinois posted their sixth win in their tenth game and dropped their last two to Iowa and Northwestern to finish 6-6. The Illini haven't finished above .500 since 2010 and they will fall short here. The Golden Bears started 4-0 before an injury to QB Chase Garbers and then lost their next four., but their strong point is their defense that held four opponents to under 20 points. Tale CALIFORNIA! |
12-28-19 | Clemson v. Ohio State +2.5 | 29-23 | Loss | -103 | 17 h 37 m | Show
Clemson at Ohio State 8:00 ET Buckeyes (+) over Tigers- This match-up has had me twisted since the opening line was posted. Granted Clemson is the defending National Champions and are undefeated but they were seeded No. 3 by the FBS and yet instituted as a favorite over the No. 2 seed Ohio State. My, first instinct was that Clemson was the side as that have not received the respect due them as Dabo has stated and now they are favorites. There are questions about Buckeyes QB Justin Fields mobility as he was bogged down against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship game but he will be ready here. Clemson is 17-5 ATS as a favorite but have been playing a weak schedule all year while Ohio State is 10-2 ATS against teams with winning records and are 5-1 ATS in their last six bowl games and are 5-1 ATS as bowl underdogs. Take OHIO STATE! |
12-28-19 | Oklahoma +14 v. LSU | 28-63 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 40 m | Show
Oklahoma vs L.S. U. 4:00 ET Sooners (+) over Tigers- Okay, here it is...the FBS game that everyone thinks is a walk-over victory for LSU. Yes, the Tigers may be the best in the country as they have certainly played like it all season long meeting every challenge and then some. But, what we have here is a team that has virtually been discarded before the game has even been played and then we have the same team have their top running back a defensive players suspended from the Sooners lineup. Oklahoma who is led by QB Jalen Hurts are 7-2 ATS as an underdog while LSU is 7-2 ATS against teams with winning records. I know this seems weird but I won't be surprised if the Sooners win the game on the field. Take OKLAHOMA! |
12-28-19 | Memphis +7.5 v. Penn State | 39-53 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 22 m | Show
Memphis vs Penn State 12:00 ET Tigers (+) over Nittany Lions- Speed versus power that will be the classic match-up Saturday at the Cotton Bowl where the upstart Memphis Tigers will challenge perennial power Penn State. Notre Dame enters with five straight impressive wins since their defeat by Michigan in October and are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. The Tigers are off of two straight non-cover wins over Cincinnati...this time thy get it done. Take the MEMPHIS! |
12-28-19 | Iowa State +4 v. Notre Dame | Top | 9-33 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 25 m | Show |
Iowa State vs Notre Dame 12:00 ET Cyclones (+) over Fighting Irish- Let me start by saying that if this match-up was being played during Prime-time it might well be my highest-rated game of the day. No, need to explain other than this game 'must' be bogus. What I see is a club (Notre Dame) that had national aspirations being displayed as a warm-up for the FBS Championship Series and their disappointment has to be huge as they don't even get to play on New Year's Day. Iowa State meets the Fighting Irish for the first time and consider this game the biggest test in school history. Somehow, be it through emotion or officials bad calls the Cyclones storm the Irish. Take IOWA STATE! |
12-27-19 | Washington State +3 v. Air Force | 21-31 | Loss | -130 | 24 h 48 m | Show
Cheez-it Bowl- Phoenix, AZ 10:15 ET Washington State vs Air Force Cougars (+) over Falcons- Air Force is on a seven-game win streak going 5-2 ATS closing the season in 2nd place in the MTW North. The Cougars ended the regular season 6-6 losing to rival Washington 31-13 in their final game to finish 5th in the six-team Pac-12 North. State has their season derailed when they blew a 32-point lead to UCLA and suffered three straight conference losses in mid-season. Once again take-it with the un-ranked WASHINGTON STATE! |
12-27-19 | Oklahoma State v. Texas A&M -5.5 | Top | 21-24 | Loss | -100 | 20 h 26 m | Show |
Texas Bowl- Houston, TX Oklahoma State vs. Texas A&M 3:45 ET Aggies (-) over Cowboys- I guess this is where the SEC shows its depth and overall strength as the former Big-12 member Texas A&M favored and un-ranked over former rival Oklahoma State. The Cowboys and Aggies meet for the first time in eight years with State having won the past four meetings. A&M wants to atone for the embarrassing way they closed the season with a 50-7 loss to LSU and they are 5-1 ATS after allowing 40 or more points. Now in the SEC, Texas A&M is 11-1 ATS in their last 12 non-conference games. Take the AGGIES! |
12-27-19 | Michigan State -3.5 v. Wake Forest | 27-21 | Win | 100 | 17 h 52 m | Show
Pinstripe Bowl- Yankee Stadium NYC Michigan State vs Wake Forest 3:30 ET Spartans (-) over Demon Deacons- Without question this is the game I absolutely am sick about. This Michigan State team at 3-9 ATS has failed 'us' on every opportunity going 0-7 ATS against winning teams and are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games overall. . After setting the schools all-time win record coach Mark Dantonio's job may hang in the balance of this outcome. Wake Forest at 8-4 SU was no prize ATS covering just five of their 12 games and are just 2-5 ATS when on natural grass. Spartans rise once again in the bowl season going 5-1 ATS in their last six appearances. Take MICHIGAN STATE! |
12-26-19 | Miami-FL -6 v. Louisiana Tech | 0-14 | Loss | -105 | 29 h 53 m | Show
Miami-Fl and Louisiana Tech 4:00 ET Hurricanes (-) over Bulldogs- Upon first glimpse of this match-up my original thoughts were what is Miami doing favored here. After all they are just 6-6 and enter this fray off of losses to Florida International while Louisiana Tech is 9-3 and looking for their first 10-win season under Skip Holtz who is in his seventh year at Tech. Although the Bulldogs are 1-9 SU in their last 10 Bowl appearances they are 6-1 ATS as bowl dogs and Miami is 1-6 ATS as bowl favorites. Yet the Canes area strong favorite. The difference in program's class will show here. Take MIAMI! |
12-24-19 | BYU v. Hawaii +1.5 | Top | 34-38 | Win | 100 | 26 h 54 m | Show |
Hawaii vs B.Y.U. Rainbow Warriors (+) over Cougars- I wouldn't be all that surprised if the Rainbow Warriors end up the favorite after all they are playing in the Hawaii Bowl for the ninth time in 18 years. But, actually their success has been limited, going 1-4 in the last five. I have a few trends that I believe surround this game as the dog has been good in the Hawaii Bowl 9-3 ATS in the last 12 and teams that repeat a bowl appearance two consecutive years are 6-0 SU in the second game. Take HAWAII! |
12-21-19 | UAB +17 v. Appalachian State | 17-31 | Win | 100 | 28 h 11 m | Show
Appalachian State us UAB 9:00 ET Blazers (+) over Mountaineers- So here we go...Appalachian State would be screaming for a FBS spot (like Central Florida last season) if they only managed to defeat Georgia Southern, but alas they didn't. So, now the Mountaineers who have never faced UAB is a huge favorite at the Super Dome in New Orleans and it will be the Blazers that will have the most fan support. UAB who's football program was terminated in 2015 is back in bowl action in their third season since and have shown that they have great ability to rebound as they are 10-2-1 ATS after a SU loss. Take the BLAZERS! |
12-21-19 | Washington -3 v. Boise State | Top | 38-7 | Win | 100 | 27 h 42 m | Show |
Washington vs Boise State 7:30 ET Huskies (-) over Broncos- I am looking forward to being in attendance for this game and I'm sure that Boise State will have huge fan support as after all this is the Mountain West Conference Bowl game. The Broncos are 12-1 on the year and yet come up an underdog against a pedestrian 7-5 Washington squad that is truly disappointed in their season. This is an unranked team (the Huskies) that is favored over a No. 21 ranked team with what can be considered a home field advantage. This is Chris Peterson's final game for Washington and it is fitting that he is going up against the school he coached for eight seasons and had an incredible 92-12 SU record. Take WASHINGTON! |
12-21-19 | SMU v. Florida Atlantic +3.5 | 28-52 | Win | 100 | 23 h 48 m | Show
S.M.U. at Florida Atlantic 3:30 ET Owls (+) over Mustangs- SMU has had a tremendous season going 10-2 SU and was 8-0 at one point before losing to Memphis and then Navy before closing out the season with a home win over Tulane. Florida Atlantic just captured the Conference USA title by routing UAB 49-6 and have won their last six and are 5-1 ATS in that span. The Owls are 4-0 ATS against a team with a winning record as they led the USA in scoring offense (35.2 pts) behind Chris Robinson who led the league in passing yards and had 26 touchdown passes. Take FLORIDA ATLANTIC! |
12-14-19 | Army v. Navy -10 | Top | 7-31 | Win | 100 | 5 h 1 m | Show |
Army vs Navy 3:00 ET Midshipmen (-) over Black Knights- Until the recent past the Navy has had the upper hand in this series but the Army has rallied to win the last three outright as underdogs. Although the Midshipmen had won the previous 14 meetings the Army is 7-2-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings. But, this season it looks like the old matchup where Navy has the advantage. Ranked No. 23 Navy is headed to the Liberty Bowl and meets Kansas State while the Cadets finish their season here as at 5-7 they miss out in post season play. The Midshipmen have triple revenge and I expect them to get it done. Take the NAVY! |
12-07-19 | Wisconsin +16.5 v. Ohio State | Top | 21-34 | Win | 100 | 24 h 29 m | Show |
Wisconsin vs Ohio State 8:00 ET Badgers (+) over Buckeyes- There was a time this season when I actually had thoughts that Wisconsin was good enough to end up as one of the FBS representatives. These two met in October and it wasn't even close as the Buckeyes trounced the Badgers 38-17 and it wasn't that close. OSU quarterback Justin Fields was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week as he had four TD passes at Michigan last Saturday. Wisconsin has met the Buckeyes three previous times in the Big Ten Championship games and they have yet to prevail losing last 27-21 in 2017. This time around the Badgers know what they are up against and will make the adjustments needed. Take WISCONSIN! |

12-07-19 | Georgia +7.5 v. LSU | Top | 10-37 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 4 m | Show |
Georgia vs L.S. U. 4:00 ET Bulldogs (+) over Tigers- LSU enters this contest almost assured a spot in the CFP even if they stub their toe here as losing to a one-loss Georgia will keep them alive. The Bulldogs on the other hand must force the committee to raise them into the Playoffs with a win here. Okay, that leads me to believe Georgia will be more desperate and have a greater need and motivation. But, are they good enough to pull it off? Playing in the Georgia Dome has got to help the 'Dogs whose scoring defense is No. 4 in the nation at 10.4 points per game. LSU is No.1 in offense 48.7 led by JoeBurrow and they will face they toughest defense of the season here. Take GEORGIA! |
12-07-19 | Cincinnati v. Memphis -8.5 | 24-29 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 35 m | Show
Cincinnati at Memphis 3:30 ET Tigers (-) over Bearcats- Same teams, same place, and virtually the same line has Memphis and Cincinnati once again clashing for the AAC Championship. The Bearcats (+10.5) got the money last week 24-34 as the Tigers speed was just too much to deal with. A note from Playbook says although Cincinnati is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings they are 3-13 ATS when seeking revenge. The Bearcats have been very resourceful winning 10 games but have been out-gained in 8-of-12 but know that they don't measure up to the Tigers. Take MEMPHIS! |
12-07-19 | Baylor v. Oklahoma -8.5 | 23-30 | Loss | -115 | 16 h 28 m | Show
Baylor vs Oklahoma 12:00 ET Sooners (-) over Bears- The teams are the same, the line is just about the same but the location which is still in Texas is now in Dallas as opposed to Waco. Oklahoma and Baylor will vie for the Big-12 championship with the remembrance of the last meeting with Baylor a 10-point home dog blowing a 28-3 halftime lead to the Sooners otherwise the Bears would be playing for a Final-4 berth. Oklahoma won the second half 31-3 and the games and the lasting reminder will weigh on the Bears while the Sooners have won the last five meetings. The favorite is 9-0 SU and 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings and Oklahoma is 11-2 ATS as a single digit favorite in their last nine overall. Take OKLAHOMA! |
12-07-19 | UL-Lafayette +6.5 v. Appalachian State | Top | 38-45 | Loss | -100 | 15 h 4 m | Show |
UL-Lafayette at Appalachian State 12:00 ET Ragin' Cajuns (+) over Mountaineers- A pair of great offenses and balanced defensive team meet for the second time this season with comparative stats that make this close. Lafayette averages 38.8 ppg and Appalachian State has one of the top offenses (38.9 ppg) and both teams play defense as the Ragin' Cajuns surrender 17.8 ppg while the Mountaineers give up 18.8. Lafayette has 'covered the last two trips tp Boone but lost at home to the Mountaineers in early October 17-7 but return the favor here. Take RAGIN' CAJUNS! |
12-06-19 | Oregon +6.5 v. Utah | Top | 37-15 | Win | 100 | 32 h 56 m | Show |
Oregon vs Utah 8:00 ET Ducks (+) over Utes- Utah has lost one game this season to USC (5* Megabucks winner) back in September and they have reeled off eight straight wins and 8-0 ATS since. Oregon has been disappointing as expected from their opening game when Auburn's 29-yard Hail-Mail was answered and they lost at the gun in a game they they dominated for 3 and half quarters. Then when it looked like they had regrouped and had an 8-game win streak of their own ended that was ended at home by a two-touchdown underdog losing to Arizona State 31-28. Friday's game may be played under questionable conditions as it has been a rainy week in the Bay area. The question might be who does this aid, the power game of the Utes or the speed game for the Ducks. At first it would appear that Utah gains and edge with their power game, but receivers that know where they are headed have an advantage over defensive backs that have to react to a cut. Oregon has the superior passing game behind future first rounder Justin Herbert who has 31 TD's and only five interceptions. Built for water... take the DUCKS! |
11-30-19 | Oklahoma -13 v. Oklahoma State | 34-16 | Win | 100 | 21 h 13 m | Show
Oklahoma at Oklahoma State 8:00 ET Sooners (-) over Cowboys- Win or lose the Sooners are going to the Big-12 Championship against Baylor and still believe they have an outside shot at breaking into the Final-4. This is a series the Sooners have dominated holding an 87-19-7 series advantage. (That's HUGE) Oddly enough the road team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Oklahoma took their lone defeat against a tough defensive minded clubs the Cowboys are not that type of squad. Jalen Hurts runs the offense and the wishbone is a thing of the past as the Sooners sail by Oklahoma State! Take OKLAHOMA! |
11-30-19 | Texas A&M +17.5 v. LSU | 7-50 | Loss | -115 | 20 h 18 m | Show
Texas A&M at LSU 7:00 ET Aggies (+) over Tigers- LSU has clinched a spot is the SEC Championship game and will be facing Georgia Next week. These two met last season is what was one of the epic college football games of all time. It took seven overtime for the Aggies to prevail 74-72 as a 3-point favorite. But, even with that win Texas A&M is 0-8 ATS in their last eight meetings against LSU. This year might be different as A&M is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games after allowing less then 20 points the week before. This is the third No. 1 ranked team the Aggies are facing and that experience helps here. Take TEXAS A&M! |
11-30-19 | Navy v. Houston +9 | 56-41 | Loss | -105 | 20 h 2 m | Show
Navy at Houston 7:00 Cougars (+) over Midshipman- Navy's shot at the AAC Championship game vanished when Memphis took care of business against Cincinnati on Friday and now they play a crippled Cougars squad that has had few bright moments after quarterback D'Eriq King redshirted along with their top receiver. Navy is caught in a look-ahead with Army up next and this game having little value. Houston has won three of four against the Navy since joining the AAC. Take HOUSTON! |
11-30-19 | Alabama v. Auburn +4 | Top | 45-48 | Win | 100 | 17 h 58 m | Show |
Alabama at Auburn 3:30 ET Tigers (+) over Crimson Tide- To start with I'm was quite surprised that this 'number' opened where it did. I expected it to be a bit higher as Auburn hasn't shown the kind of offensive diversity that is needed to overcome the Alabama defense. The Tigers have only three games scoring more than 24 points getting 55, 56 and 51 against imposters Kent, Miss St and Samford. But, there is something missing with this Crimson squad as Nick Saban has little confidence in his back-up quarterback and has been badly out coached in his last three big encounters. 'Bama has won eight of the last 11 meetings but the Tigers get it done! Take AUBURN! |
11-30-19 | Ohio State v. Michigan +9.5 | Top | 56-27 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 28 m | Show |
Michigan at Ohio State 12:00 ET Wolverines (+) over Buckeyes- No. 2 Ohio State (11-0) is two wins away from getting to the Final-4 and its starts here against arch rival Michigan. The Buckeyes have had their in this series winning 16 of the past 18 meetings including last season's 62-39 destruction of the Wolverines gaining 567 yards from scrimmage. OSU is on a 16-game win streak and will up against the nation's 4th ranked defense allowing just 267 yards per game. Michigan has won their last four and are 6-0 at home. Take the WOLVERINES! |
11-29-19 | Washington State v. Washington -6.5 | 13-31 | Win | 100 | 6 h 37 m | Show
Washington State at Washington 4:00 ET Huskies (-) over Cougars- Regardless of the outcome of this year's 112th Apple Cup meeting between Washington State and Washington it has been a disappointing season for both clubs. The Huskies are always expected to contend for the Pac-12 title but both are just 3-5 in conference play. The Cougars are now bowl eligible after huge wins 49-22 over Stanford and 54-53 over Oregon State neither of which have winning records. Washington leads the series 41-15-5 and captures another win here. Take the HUSKIES! |
11-29-19 | Cincinnati v. Memphis -11.5 | 24-34 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 12 m | Show
Cincinnati at Memphis 3:30 ET Tigers (-) over Bearcats- Okay, here's the deal. Cincinnati has already clinched a spot in the AAC Championship game while Memphis can clinch the West title with a win here and then will host the Bearcats in the AAC title game next week. If Memphis loses they can still make the championship game if Navy loses to Houston Saturday night. But still, with this line so high with a pair of 10-1 clubs it is Memphis that has the incentive. Take the TIGERS! |
11-29-19 | Iowa v. Nebraska +5.5 | Top | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 4 h 15 m | Show |
Iowa at Nebraska 2:30 ET Cornhuskers (+) over Hawkeyes- For Nebraska this has been one of the worst football seasons that I can ever remember for as they are 5-6 SU and a horrid 2-9 ATS. Despite hat we have witnessed this season with the Cornhuskers they are one win away from becoming bowl eligible. Iowa meanwhile, has won four of five and are striving for a New Year's Day bowl bid and a win here would go a long way toward that goal. Huskers need it more...take NEBRASKA! |
11-29-19 | Virginia Tech v. Virginia +3 | 30-39 | Win | 100 | 1 h 29 m | Show
Virginia Tech at Virginia 12:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Hokies- Both these clubs enter 8-3 and are on 3-game winning streaks but the longest winning streak of all have Tech winning the last 15 meetings outright. But, this season the Cavaliers have a different approach as head coach Bronco Mendenhall will have his crew ready for the Cavaliers. Dual threat QB Bryce Perkins has the ability to beat you two ways and he'll find one of them today. Take VIRGINIA! |
11-28-19 | Ole Miss v. Mississippi State -2 | 20-21 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 3 m | Show
Mississippi at Mississippi State 7:30 ET Bulldogs (-) over Rebels- Like many other rivalries they don't follow the standard and the history of these two is not different. To start with the visitor is 4-0 in the last four meetings including the Bulldogs 35-3 pounding of the Rebels last season. Mississippi is not bowl eligible but State can get there with a win here. They are 3-0 since 2011 when needing this game to become bowl eligible. The Bulldogs are 15-6 in their last 21 home games. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE! |
11-23-19 | UCLA +14 v. USC | 35-52 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 51 m | Show
UCLA at USC 3:30 ET Bruins (+) over Trojans- This is one of the rivalries where all the traditional cliques fit the bill. Saving a season, being hyped to play against hated foe, throw all the stats out window and get ready for mayhem. Mayhem, is something that might cost the Trojans here as they rank at the bottom with 73 Penalty Yards Per Game and that can hurt in this type of heated meeting. Bruins off of Kelly worst career defeat and USC was on cruse control. It reverses today. Note, Kelly is 20-9 SU on the road in his college career. Take UCLA! |
11-23-19 | Texas +6 v. Baylor | 10-24 | Loss | -115 | 17 h 56 m | Show
Texas at Baylor 12:30 ET Longhorns (+) over Bears- There are so many reasons to play 'against' the Bears that it seems like a trap. To start with Baylor needs one win in their final two games either here or at lowly Kansas to clinch a berth in the Big-12 Championship game, most likely a rematch with Oklahoma. So, after that disastrous loss last week to Oklahoma they know their Final Four dreams are over. Down trodden they lose here and then regroup against Kansas heading to the Championship game. Matt Rhule is great but Tom Herman ix 15-4 ATS as a dog and 4-0 ATS after a loss. Yeah, from my lips to...Take TEXAS! |
11-23-19 | Michigan v. Indiana +10 | 39-14 | Loss | -115 | 17 h 10 m | Show
Michigan at Indiana 3:30 ET Hoosiers (+) over Wolverines- This is a perfect 'look ahead' situation for the Wolverines coming off of a trouncing of I stater rival Michigan State 44-10 and having to play Ohio State next Saturday in Ann Arbor. Indiana with 7-wins under their belts are off of a loss to Penn State 34-27 where they out-gained the Lions by nearly 100 yards. The Hoosiers and the underdog (one and the same) are 3-1 the last four meetings. It's the SPOT! Take INDIANA! |
11-23-19 | Pittsburgh +4 v. Virginia Tech | 0-28 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 57 m | Show
Pittsburgh at Virginia Tech 3:30 ET Panthers (+) over Hokies- After starting 2-2 and suffering a 45-10 loss to Duke the Hokies have regrouped and won 5-of-6 both SU and ATS with their loss coming at Notre Dame 21-20. Virginia Tech with their impressive run are attracting some attention and the Panthers are just as worth at 7-2 winning 6-of-7 SU. Pittsburgh is dominating the series and are 10-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings and the underdog is 9-2 ATS to boot. Take PITTSBURGH! |
11-23-19 | SMU v. Navy -3 | Top | 28-35 | Win | 100 | 17 h 4 m | Show |
S.M.U at Navy 3:30 ET Midshipman (-) over Mustangs- My first thoughts about this game were running toward the Mustangs with their offense that averages 522 yards including 328 in the air. I remember the Navy getting so out-classed by Notre Dame and SMU having two weeks to prepare gives me concerns. It isn't like Navy was looking ahead to this game there biggest conference game of the year. and not thinking of the Irish so much, but here they are. The Midshipman run the for 350 yards a game and that will keep the ball out of the Mustangs hands (ha). SMU is 0-4 ATS in their our meetings at Navy. Take NAVY! |
11-16-19 | South Carolina +12.5 v. Texas A&M | 6-30 | Loss | -111 | 20 h 26 m | Show
South Carolina at Texas A&M 7:30 ET Gamecocks (+) over Aggies- The Aggies have won three straight and are bowl eligible (6-4) with three of their losses against Top-10 ranked teams- Clemson, Auburn and Alabama- led by double-threat QB Kellen Mond. It's been crazy season for the Gamecocks opening as a beaten 12-point favorite by rival North Carolina and then defeating Georgia 20-17 a month ago and now losing 3-of-4. Add some turmoil South Carolina AD has reprimanded and denied coach Will Muschamp attempt to speak with other schools. Freshman QB Ryan Hilinski has receivers dropping the ball all over the place last week, this week Gamecock receivers will have stick-em on their hands. USC is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings all Aggies victories. No matter...take SOUTH CAROLINA! |
11-16-19 | LSU v. Ole Miss +22 | 58-37 | Win | 100 | 20 h 50 m | Show
L.S.U. At Mississippi 7:00 ET Rebels(+) over Tigers- Not this is not a 'hate bet' or get back 'em play. LSU with no doubt has played as the No. 1 team in the country and they are strong in all facets of the games. But, there is one thing that that have little control over and that is emotions. After playing their third top -10 team and punishing Alabama they way they did to go on the road here and provide a spot for disappointment. The Rebels can move the ball averaging 435 yards a game and they will be ready and with LSU coach Orgeron's first job at Ole Miss maybe he'll go easy. Ha...he is in for a fight. Take MISSISSIPPI! |
11-16-19 | Minnesota v. Iowa -3 | Top | 19-23 | Win | 100 | 17 h 16 m | Show |
Minnesota at Iowa 4:00 ET Hawkeyes (-) over Golden Gophers- A balanced attack has been the key for Minnesota's surprising 9-0 start as they run for 195 yards and pass for 237 yards per game while their defense has allowed just 310 per contest. They out-gained every opponent expect Penn State in Saturday's win their first over a ranked team in 15 tries. Now, they face an Iowa team that lost to Wisconsin 24-22 and they come up an underdog against an unranked team. Seems bogus to me...take IOWA! |
11-16-19 | Georgia v. Auburn +3 | Top | 21-14 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 49 m | Show |
Georgia at Auburn 3:30 ET Tigers (+) over Bulldogs- Since their improbable loss to South Carolina the Bulldogs have won three straight while allowing just 17 points with a pair of shutouts and have blacked three opponents this season. Auburn has two loses both to ranked teams LSU and Florida but has an offense that averages 32.7 points and 425 yards per game. The Tigers have totaled just under 500 yards three times this season and will be able to penetrate Georgia's defense. Georgia is 5-1 ATS and in those matchup they the better team being favored by -13, -10, -12 and -15.5 in the last seven seasons. But, this time around the Tigers get it done. Take AUBURN! |
11-16-19 | Virginia Tech v. Georgia Tech +7 | Top | 45-0 | Loss | -115 | 17 h 36 m | Show |
Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech 3:30 ET Yellow Jackets (+) over Hokies- This is one of those game where I will convince myself that nI have the right side because bot is this an ugly side...until it wins. Georgia Tech has had a difficult adjustment as former triple-option coach Paul Johnson retired and the Yellow Jackets were troubled during the transition. The have a balanced offense now but each side land and air only average 150 yards a game each. Opening the season losers against Minnesota 34-10 and Clemson 52-14 the imagine of ineptness and futility was felt. But, those are two pretty dare good clubs and after starting 0-5 ATS they are 2-1-1 ATS with a road win at Miami-Fl. This is the best justification I've got, the underdog is 12-1 ATS in the last 13 meetings. Nah, they are playing much better coming off of a 375 yard offensive performance while The Hokies are off of 3-straight big-game covers defeating Wake Forest 36-17 as a 3-point dog last week. They should come out flat of fall apart in the second half or both! Take GEORGIA TECH! |
11-15-19 | Fresno State +1 v. San Diego State | 7-17 | Loss | -103 | 11 h 16 m | Show
Fresno State at San Diego State 9:30 ET Bulldogs (+) over Aztecs- What is going on here? What is wrong with this scenario, division leading San Diego State (7-2) is an underdog at home against a Fresno State team that is 4-5 on the year. Now, granted the Aztecs did open a 1.5-point favorite but factors that may never be revealed have changed the dynamics of this game. I only have to say that if this is how the odds makers see it...who am I to argue. The truth of the matter is that the Bulldogs have been a scoring machine (34.3 pts per) while SDS struggles on offense averaging just 20-8 points per game. Take FRESNO STATE! |
11-14-19 | North Carolina v. Pittsburgh -4 | 27-34 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show
North Carolina at Pittsburgh 8:00 ET Panthers (-) over Tar Heels- “You've come a long way baby'...Mack Brown lifted the down trodden Tar Heels off of the mat after three disastrous seasons by starting with a win over rival South Carolina followed with another upset win over Miami-Fl and the media and for the most part the public were hooked. Well, North Carolina has dropped five of seven since September 7 with their best effort a 21-20 loss to Clemson but it won't get any better here. Yes, they can move the ball and put points on the board (28 pts per) but they surrender 27 points a game and are up against one of the NCAA's better defenses. Pitt's defense second in the nation in sacks (4.44 pg), seventh in rushing defense (85.9 ypg) and ninth in total defense (180.2 ypg). They are just better because the Tar Hells haven't come this far yet. Take the PANTHERS! |
11-09-19 | Notre Dame v. Duke +8 | Top | 38-7 | Loss | -105 | 23 h 60 m | Show |
Notre Dame at Duke 7:30 ET Blue Devils (+) over Fighting Irish- The Blue Devils visions of upper tier bowl acceptance has take a blow with three straight losses so after a 4-1 start they are even. Notre Dame's dreams were dashed early by Georgia and reaffirmed by Michigan two weeks ago. Duke has had two weeks to get ready for the biggest home crowd they will see this season while the Irish will just play it out with little motivation. This game is more meaningful for the Devils...Take DUKE! |
11-09-19 | LSU v. Alabama -5.5 | Top | 46-41 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 54 m | Show |
Louisiana State at Alabama 3:30 ET Crimson Tide (-) over Tigers- Golly, I can't wait to see the colors, the bands, the pageantry and everything makes this match-up 'special' on a college campus. This is the SEC Game of the Year between pair of 8-0 undefeated teams LSU and Alabama. There is a history here and it's not good for the Tigers. Alabama has won the last eight meetings and although the Tigers have probably played better competition with three win over Top-10 teams while the Tide haven't faced a ranked opponent until LSU. The Tigers would grade out as the better team but they have a hurdle in front of them that they have not been able to conquer since Nick Saban was coaching LSU. Tua or not...take ALABAMA! |
11-09-19 | Illinois v. Michigan State -14 | 37-34 | Loss | -115 | 19 h 11 m | Show
Illinois at Michigan State 3:30 ET Spartans (-) over Illini- When I first saw this game I said 'no way, stay away' don't get sucked in...yeah, well here I am. Come on now Michigan State should be favored by no more than 3-4 points as Illinois has the better record and are 6-3 ATS while the Spartans are a meager 2-6 ATS. State has lost three straight and the oddsmakers expect them to take out frustrations after getting outscored 100-17 by Ohio State Wisconsin and Penn State. With two weeks to repair the Spartans will more than end the Illini 3-game win streak. (Does this line make any sense) Take MICHIGAN STATE! |
11-09-19 | Kansas State v. Texas -7 | 24-27 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 5 m | Show
Kansas State at Texas 3:30 ET Longhorns (+) over Wildcats- This may be the 'toughest' bet on the board, I mean really. How could anyone in their right mind lay points with Texas against this Kansas State team that is just mowing down opponents including Oklahoma and rival Kansas the past two weeks. I think that is 'line' is way high and the Wildcats look like an easy take especially when you see State is 9-2-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings, but alas, that is countered by the home team going 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Tough spot for K. State as Longhorns gore Wildcats after two week to stew over TCU loss. Take TEXAS! |
11-09-19 | Baylor v. TCU +3 | Top | 29-23 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 2 m | Show |
Baylor at Texas Christian 12:00 ET Horned Frogs (+) over Bears- Could the undefeated 8-0 #12 Baylor Bears be the Big-12 club that throws a monkey wrench into the FBS doings...nah. Even though the Horned Frogs have lost a pair of quarterbacks in the past two weeks they are still able to sting an unsuspecting foe. TCU has won the last four meetings and most likely will have QB Max Duggan who replaced Alex Delton. I'm a little skittish here as the Horned Frogs have turned this trick already defeating Texas as a home dog...Frogs bark...Take TEXAS CHRISTIAN! |
11-07-19 | Temple v. South Florida +2.5 | 17-7 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 59 m | Show
Temple at South Florida 8:00 ET Bulls (+) over Owls- South Florida was so unimpressive in their opening games it's difficult to realize how far they have come. They started by getting shutout 49-0 at home against Wisconsin and then lost to Georgia Tech 14-10 one of the worst teams in college football this season. Temple on the other spectrum started 5-1 with huge wins and have dropped their last two to SMU and Central Florida. They might actually feel that they are getting a break playing the Bulls this week...big mistake! The home team and underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last five in this series. Take SOUTH FLORIDA! |
11-02-19 | Oregon v. USC +4.5 | 56-24 | Loss | -115 | 22 h 60 m | Show
Oregon at U.S.C. 8:00 ET Trojans (+) over Ducks- Only a single 29-yard touchdown play on the final play of the game against Auburn in their season opener prevents Oregon from entering this game undefeated. The lone blemished pushed the Pac-12 out of the FBS playoff picture because the conference is preconceive as being weak (and they are!) Herbert 21 TD and only one interception. USC Slovis 72% 4-0 at home 5-0 in pac-12 Trojans 4-0 AST after loss as is Oregon. Ducks average 6.6 yards per offensive play and USC 6.5 per attempt. Favorite 9-2 in the series. Take SOUTHERN CAL! |
11-02-19 | Virginia +2.5 v. North Carolina | 38-31 | Win | 100 | 20 h 2 m | Show
Virginia at North Carolina 7:30 ET Cavaliers (+) over Tar Heels- The upstart Tar Heels are tied with Virginia for the ACC Coastal Division lead at 3-2 as the Cavaliers have dropped three of their last four and three of four on the road while North Carolina is 3-2 at home but an impressive 4-1 ATS. Mac Brown filled the stands with excitement with early season successes like beat South Carolina when people thought that they were good. Virginia had little left after Notre Dame as 'we' posted Louisville fading the Cavaliers, this time they get it done. Take VIRGINIA! |
11-02-19 | Georgia -5.5 v. Florida | 24-17 | Win | 100 | 18 h 43 m | Show
Georgia vs Florida 3:30 ET Bulldogs (-) over Gators- The same 'numbers' never lie but remember they can be very deceiving. So, No. 6 Florida is this heavy of an underdog against No. 7 Georgia at their usual neutral site in Jacksonville. So, when we compare stats we seen Georgia averages 7.1 yards per offensive attempt and lead the ACC in scoring defense allowing just 10.6 points per game and 266 yards defensively. The Bulldogs have won the last two and they haven't been close outscoring the Gators 78-24. the favorite is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and Georgia is 7-1 in their last eight at neutral sites. Lay-it...take the BULLDOGS! |
11-02-19 | UNLV v. Colorado State -7 | 17-37 | Win | 100 | 16 h 15 m | Show
U.N.L.V. At Colorado State 3:30 ET Rams (-) over Rebels- Now, this is a hoot! The past two weeks 'we' have capitalized on UNLV as they were in great positions to cover and the did. This week we find an over-rated (yes even at 2-6) team that people just love to bet and really can't play and are poorly coached. On offensive there are times when the Rebels show some flashes of brilliance but their defense is consistent...constantly bad. The Rams have won their last two and are 3-5 but have an offense averaging 474 yards that will shred the Rebels lack-of-D. Take COLORADO STATE! |
11-02-19 | Kansas State v. Kansas +6 | Top | 38-10 | Loss | -115 | 17 h 13 m | Show |
Kansas State at Kansas 3:30 ET Jayhawks (+) over Wildcats- The is a great spot for the Jayhawks as they catch State off of their biggest upset win in over a decade as they just physically out-manned Oklahoma. That was no flute these Wildcats can play, but can they sustain that intensity four another full four quarters? Kansas won in upset style themselves and at 3-5 they are much improved with Carter Stanley throwing 19 TDs already. It's not that the Wildcats can't win easy, under most circumstances they probably would, but it's just the time and don't forgot the place. Take KANSAS! |

10-31-19 | Georgia Southern +15.5 v. Appalachian State | Top | 24-21 | Win | 100 | 9 h 42 m | Show |
Georgia Southern and Appalachian State 8:00 ET Eagles (+) over Mountaineers- There is no doubt No 20 Appalachian State is the best of the also-rans (see 2018 Central Florida) and are meetings the team that knocked them out of the Top-25 last year. So, yes they have revenge on their minds but they are facing one of the best running games in the nation. Georgia Southern has the 7th ranked rushing offense (26 per) led by Junior running backs J.D. King and Wesley Kennedy III and have six players that have run for at least 100 in a game. Take GEORGIA SOUTHERN! |
10-26-19 | San Diego State v. UNLV +12.5 | 20-17 | Win | 100 | 23 h 20 m | Show
San Diego State at U.N.L.V. 10:30 ET Rebels (+) over Aztecs- How sick and I going to be watching these pitiful Rebels take the field knowing that if Vegas is fixed 'we' will need this. Honest, there is no way UNLV can compete here unless they get help from 'Above' or with the 'other' people on the field. Even in Las Vegas the sports books have reported less than a handful of tickets on the Rebels and they opened at 10.5 and expect the number to reach 13 before games time. Wait for this Bail-Out' winner as long as you can and expect a 'miracle'...take UNLV! |
10-26-19 | Notre Dame v. Michigan +1 | Top | 14-45 | Win | 100 | 21 h 54 m | Show |
Notre Dame at Michigan 7:30 ET Wolverines (+) over Fighting Irish- I remember watching this matchup last year sitting with friends at my favorite place having faded Michigan as the rest of the free world and some of the oppressed bet on the Wolverines. Notre Dame of course won easy, rushed out to a quick 14-0 and then 21-3 leads before the half. The Irish won easy over the Wolverines and everyone started to sour on Jim Harbaugh who is 1-12 against Top-10 teams. Notre dame has lost seven of their last eight visits to Ann Arbor where the Wolverines have won their last 12. Now, the same people that had Michigan last season and lost all have Notre Dame. Take MICHIGAN! |
10-26-19 | Auburn +11 v. LSU | 20-23 | Win | 100 | 16 h 10 m | Show
Auburn at L.S. U. 3:30 ET Aub. Tigers (+) over LSU Tigers- This is the SEC showcase game of the day with No. 2 LSU averaging over 50 points per game and No. 9 Auburn's formidable offensive and defensive lines. In a nutshell what will be a 'must' if Auburn is to have any chance is to pressure Joe Burrow into hurried throws. Auburn responded after getting beat by Florida (Megabucks winner) by crushing Arkansas 51-10 on the road. Bo Nix will have to run rather than throw...take AUBURN! |
10-26-19 | Virginia v. Louisville +3.5 | 21-28 | Win | 100 | 16 h 3 m | Show
Virginia at Louisville 3:30 ET Cardinals (+) over Cavaliers- I love this spot for the Cardinals coming off of a loss against Clemson and need a game where they have a chance. After opening the season with four wins and then dropping their next two Virginia responds in a big way pounding Duke 48-14 last Saturday. The Cavaliers totally shutdown Louisville last year winning 27-3 while allowing just 214 yards their season low. The Cardinals were held to their season low last week against Clemson and will bounce back against a team that is 5-25 in ACC road games. Take LOUISVILLE! |
10-26-19 | Penn State v. Michigan State +5.5 | Top | 28-7 | Loss | -115 | 17 h 52 m | Show |
Penn State at Michigan State 3:30 ET Spartans (+) over Nittany Lions- Penn State jumped on Michigan last week and then had to hang on needing a Wolverine end zone dropped pass tp seal the win. The Lions were out-gained by 134 yards and had the ball just 22 minutes on offense. That plays into Michigan State's hands as their thing is defense although they have struggled the past two weeks against Ohio State and Wisconsin. The Spartans have won five of the past six meetings and always seem to 'get-up' for Penn State. Vegas has been 'hit' hard by the 'Sharps' with the 'smart' money coming on the Spartans. I agree with them...take MICHIGAN STATE! |
10-26-19 | Texas v. TCU +1.5 | Top | 27-37 | Win | 100 | 17 h 46 m | Show |
Texas at TCU 3:30 ET Horned Frogs (+) over Longhorns- Does this 'line' look right to you? It doesn't to me. Here's No. 15 Texas who totaled 638 yards against Kansas last week led by quarterback Sam Ehlinger who had 399 yards passing and four touchdowns. TCU club that has dropped their last two and doesn't appear at 3-3 to be of the same caliber of recent seasons has to rely on their defense which have allowed a national-low 76 first downs. The Longhorns won last year's battle 31-16 but had lost the previous four meetings with the Frogs going 4-1 ATS. Take TEXAS CHRISTIAN! |
10-25-19 | USC v. Colorado +12 | 35-31 | Win | 100 | 11 h 33 m | Show
USC at Colorado 9:00 ET Buffaloes (+) over Trojans- This matchup between USC and Colorado has been a one sided series with the Trojans winning all 13 meetings including all eight meeting since the Buffs entered the Pac-12. Neither of these clubs have having banner seasons as USC has been pounded with key injuries and Colorado at times has been just terrible. The Buffaloes have lost their last three surrendering 41.45 and 35 points while scoring just one touchdown in their last two games. The Trojans really haven't done anything to distinguish themselves and the home team is 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Take COLORADO! |
10-24-19 | SMU v. Houston +14 | 34-31 | Win | 100 | 7 h 20 m | Show
SMU at Houston 7:30 ET Cougars (+) over Mustangs- Hey, do you remember when the Mustangs ran the ball with the 'Pony Express' as then coach Ron Meyer had Eric Dickerson and Craig James leading SMU to 10 straight wins to open the season back in 1982. Well, I do but this group of Mustangs throw the ball with quarterback Shane Buechele who threw for 457 yards and six touchdowns against Temple last week. Houston started slow and lost their starting QB D' Eriq King and receiver Keith Corbin decided to red-shirt the rest of the season. The Cougars have won 2-of-3 since their departure and will keep this one close to the number. Take HOUSTON! |
10-19-19 | Boise State v. BYU +7.5 | Top | 25-28 | Win | 100 | 26 h 9 m | Show |
Boise State at B.Y.U. 10:15 ET Cougars (+) over Broncos- Boise State is off of a 59-37 beatdown of Hawaii but lost starting quarterback Hank Bachmeier to a hip injury and now Sophomore Chase Cord is slated to make his first career start. BYU has dropped three straight and are claiming that they haven't quit on the season and the Broncos are the perfect opponent. This non-conference game is a step down for the Broncos who are just 2-5 in their last seven against Independents while BYU is 6-1 ATS versus the Mountain West and 9-3 ATS following a straight up loss. Take BRIGHAM YOUNG! |
10-19-19 | Texas A&M v. Ole Miss +6 | 24-17 | Loss | -105 | 23 h 11 m | Show
Texas A&M at Mississippi 3:30 ET Rebels (+) over Aggies- Texas A&M has played one of the toughest schedules to start the season that I have seen in years. They have three losses to top ranked teams Clemson, Auburn and Alabama and also met with Alabama and got the cover (+37.5) in a 59-31 loss. The Aggies defense is a bit tougher especially when considering their level of competition but Mississippi has put together an offense that averages over 200 yards both on the ground and threw the air. The Rebels are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings and A&M is 0-4 ATS in their last four conference games. Take MISSISSIPPI! |
10-19-19 | Army v. Georgia State +5 | 21-28 | Win | 100 | 22 h 2 m | Show
Army at Georgia State 7:00 ET Panthers (+) over Black Knights- A pair of clubs that prefer to run the ball go at it in Atlanta where Georgia State will host Army. There appears to be kinks in the Knights armor as they will be hard pressed to match the last two season's standard failing to 'cover' in their last three. Army was held to a season's low 137 yards rushing at Western Kentucky last week while the Panthers ran for 350 against Coastal Carolina and have 690 on the ground the past two weeks. Take GEORGIA STATE! |
10-19-19 | Arizona State v. Utah -13 | Top | 3-21 | Win | 100 | 22 h 4 m | Show |
Arizona State at Utah 6:00 ET Utes (-) over Sun Devils- Doesn't this line appear to be a little on the high side? It does to me! These clubs have Pac-12 mirror record of each other both at 5-1 straight up and 2-1 in conference play. Arizona State behind freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels average 403 yards on offense including 268 through the air but will be opposed by Tyler Huntley who is 3rd nationally for completion percentage (.756) and 5th on passing efficiency (187.6). Utes tailback Zack Moss is back after getting an injured shoulder on September 20 and needs just 55 yards to become Utah's all-time rushing leader. Utah ranks 25th in total offense and 10th defense. They are one of only six teams in that category. Take UTAH! |
10-19-19 | LSU v. Mississippi State +18 | 36-13 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 48 m | Show
L.S. U. at Mississippi State 3:30 ET Bulldogs (+) over Tigers- This has been one of the most lopsided series in the SEC with LSU winning 17 of the last 19 straight-up. Mississippi has been disappointing to date (3-3, 1-2) going 2-4 ATS while not even being competitive against Auburn and losing to Tennessee and Kentucky as favorites. Certainly not favorites here the Bulldogs will have to deal on defense with the FBS No. 1 rated quarterback in Joe Barrow who has a 218 passing efficiency. With Auburn up next the Tigers might get caught looking ahead, especially of they take an early lead. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE! |
10-18-19 | Pittsburgh v. Syracuse +3.5 | 27-20 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 29 m | Show
Pittsburgh at Syracuse 7:00 ET Orange (+) over Panthers- Pittsburgh has shown that they can play with the best as their 17-10 loss to Penn State put a legitimate scare into the Lions and they have won three straight since that defeat. The Orange are plotting along at 3-3 SU and just 1-4 ATS in their last five. This series has been a bit one sided since 2002 with Pittsburgh winning 14 of the last 17 meetings straight-up but the home team is 11-5 with the hosts winning the last three meetings. The dog is 3-0-1 Ats in the last four meetings as well. Take SYRACUSE! |
10-17-19 | UCLA +4 v. Stanford | 34-16 | Win | 100 | 11 h 48 m | Show
UCLA at Stanford 9:00 ET Bruins (+) over Cardinal- There is something gong on here and I don't believe that it is completely Kosher. Not many teams have looked worse this season than the Bruins who have won and 'covered' just one of six games and have lost their last 11 against Stanford. The Cardinal have been no prize either going 1-4 ATS in their last five. UCLA under Chip Kelly was supposed to be one of the nation's leaders in offense and yet they are at the bottom in passing (341) and total defense (503) yards per game. What stuns me here is that the line is so low considering the 'number's I just reeled off and it may be because the Cardinal just aren't that good this season. Take UCLA! |
10-12-19 | Florida v. LSU -13.5 | 28-42 | Win | 100 | 23 h 55 m | Show
Florida at L.S.U. 8:00 ET Tigers (-) over Gators- After being 'Graced' as 'my' SEC Game of the Year the Gators (+) won 24-13 OUTRIGHT over Auburn enter Louisiana on cloud nine with the pressure off. The are so grateful that they were worthy of my Game of the Year winner that they can never reach the mental state that they possessed last week (letdown). The home team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. This 'price' is ridiculous and if it is a 'trap' I have fallen for it. Lay it with the Tigers they should romp...Take LSU! |
10-12-19 | USC +11 v. Notre Dame | 27-30 | Win | 100 | 23 h 32 m | Show
USC at Notre Dame 7:30 ET Trojans (+) over Fighting Irish- Notre Dame knows that they have to win impressively the rest of the way out to have any chance at the FBS title. The home team has been dominate going 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings with the favorite 6-1 ATS in the last seven. Southern California has to endure the hardship of losing both their No.1 and No.2 starting quarterbacks and were down to Matt Fink who stunk at Washington and freshman quarterback Kedon Slovis is expected to return after missing two weeks with a concussion. In order to get the money here these teams never to reverse their turnover trends where the Irish are +10 and USC is -7. Otherwise it could get ugly! Take the TROJANS! |
10-12-19 | Penn State v. Iowa +3.5 | Top | 17-12 | Loss | -109 | 22 h 10 m | Show |
Penn State at Iowa 7:30 ET Hawkeyes (+) over Nittany Lions- At the beginning of the week there was no question that I wanted Iowa here after their horrid performance in their 10-3 loss to Michigan on National TV. The problem is that the 'price' has shrunk before of 'Sharp action' on the Hawkeyes and it has lost some value. The Hawkeyes had a total of minus-10 yards against the Wolverines last week as QB Nate Stanley had his worst career game getting sacked eight times and throwing three interceptions. Penn State is averaging 500 yards per game while Iowa after last weeks performance is at just 255 yards per game. It's no matter the home team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Take IOWA! |
10-12-19 | Alabama v. Texas A&M +17.5 | Top | 47-28 | Loss | -115 | 19 h 56 m | Show |
Alabama at Texas A&M 3:30 ET Aggies (+) over Crimson Tide- This is Alabama's 6th game of the year and they have been favored in every one by -33.5,-54.5, -25-5, -36.5, and -37.5 and they have made good twice but only once in their last four contests. It seems that the oddsmakers are giving the Aggies a 'puncher's chance' with the line dipping to 16.5 at one point. For those that are Tide 'backers' this price might appear to be a gift. But, beware things are not always what they seem. Alabama averages 555 yards per game and the Aggies just 427 but are better on defense allowing 300 yards per games while the Crimson are allowing 326 per contest and have surrendered more than 450 yards twice against Mississippi and South Carolina. This will play closer than most believe. Take TEXAS A&M! |
10-12-19 | Michigan State +10.5 v. Wisconsin | Top | 0-38 | Loss | -115 | 19 h 41 m | Show |
Michigan State at Wisconsin 3:30 ET Spartans (+) over Badgers- They may not be ranked in the Top-5 but No. 8 Wisconsin to me has been the most impressive of all. The Badgers are allowing just 182 total yards per game and have surrendered only 29 points (5.8 ave per game) on the year. But, probably the most impressive of all is the they have not trailed at anytime this season. Michigan State we know has been built on defense for years and only give up 300 total yards per game. The Spartans had 'covered' four straight in the series until last year's 30-6 home beatdown. Note that the underdog is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings. Take MICHIGAN STATE! |
10-09-19 | Appalachian State v. UL-Lafayette +1 | Top | 17-7 | Loss | -113 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
Appalachian State at UL Lafayette 8:00 ET Ragin' Cajuns over Mountaineers- Both of these clubs enter this fray on four game winning streaks with the Cajun's have lost their opener to Mississippi State 38-28 (+19) and are 5-0 ATS. Appalachian State has posted a road victory over North Carolina and most likely will be the public's choice here. But, Lafayette averages 540 yards offensively including a balanced attack of 314 yards rushing and 226 threw the air and are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games overall. Take LAFAYETTE! |
10-05-19 | San Diego State v. Colorado State +8 | 24-10 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 57 m | Show
San Diego State at Colorado State 10:00 ET Rams (+) over Aztecs- Colorado State has to be the best 1-4 team in the nation averaging 32.4 points per contests and 501 yards per game ranking them No.16th in the nation. The Aztecs average just 345 totals yards and less than 200 in the air. A few trends to justify my position is that the underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings and the Rams are 5-0 ATS after a straight-up loss. Take COLORADO STATE! |
10-05-19 | Northwestern v. Nebraska -7 | 10-13 | Loss | -113 | 18 h 44 m | Show
Northwestern at Nebraska 3:30 ET Cornhuskers (-) over Wildcats- Big problems for both these clubs as Northwestern can't move the ball and Nebraska can't stop the ball. Quarterback issues are a thorn in the Wildcats as they are last in conference scoring with just 15.5 points per and have one QB out with injury and the other hobbled. Nebraska's Adrian Martinez has averaged 305 yards of offense but was held to 128 total against Ohio State and should see more day-light than last week. With this price as high as it is I expect the Cornhuskers to rebound from their humiliating 48-7 loss to the Buckeyes. The favorite is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Take NEBRASKA! |
10-05-19 | North Carolina v. Georgia Tech +10.5 | 38-22 | Loss | -105 | 20 h 49 m | Show
North Carolina at Georgia Tech 7:00 ET Yellow Jackets (+) over Tar Heels- There is no doubt about the improvement that Mack Brown has brought to North Carolina but five straight one possession games will take it's toll. Georgia Tech has a 'new' offense and they are last in the FBS in scoring (13.5 PPG) and have lost Citadel and have been out-gained by all four opponents while going 0-4 ATS. The one thing that they do well is play the Tar Heels tough going 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings including 4-1 ATS in their last meets as hosts. It's a 'numbers' game. Take GEORGIA TECH! |
10-05-19 | Auburn v. Florida +3 | 13-24 | Win | 100 | 22 h 44 m | Show
Auburn at Florida 3:30 ET Gators (+) over Tigers- It's hard to believe that these two 5-0 SEC teams have not played each other in eight years and that they have only played twice in 12 years. This week's matchup has Auburn favored in 'The Swamp' and that indeed is rare as Florida has been favored in each of the 1- previous meetings. The Tigers have been the more impressive of the two and are off of a 56-23 beatdown of Mississippi State last week and own wins over then No. 13 Oregon and at No. 21 Texas A&M. But, this week the Tigers are the target and the home team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the dog is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. Gators may be better off offensively with Franks down as his inconsistency has been their weakness, he's gone...take FLORIDA! |
10-05-19 | Texas v. West Virginia +10.5 | 42-31 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 29 m | Show
Texas at West Virginia 3:30 ET Mountaineers (+) over Longhorns- Both clubs enter this contest 3-1 but there is a world of difference as to how they are perceived. West Virginia has managed wins against NC State and Kansas the last two times out after a beatdown by Missouri while Texas has bounced back with a pair of wins after a heartbreaking loss to LSU. The Longhorns are 0-4 ATS in their last four games after a straight-up win and the Mountaineers are not only 4-0 ATS after a bye week but they are 3-0-2 ATS in their last five at home. Add they they 'Mountain Men' are 11-4-2 ATS as a underdog under coach Brown. Take WEST VIRGINIA! |
10-04-19 | Central Florida v. Cincinnati +4 | Top | 24-27 | Win | 100 | 18 h 29 m | Show |
Central Florida and Cincinnati 8:00 ET Bearcats (+) over Knights- No. 18 Central Florida has won 19 straight AAC contests but should be put to the challenge Friday night against a powerful Bearcats squad that put up 525 yards last week improving to 3-1 with their lone loss to Ohio State. The Knights rebounded from their 35-34 loss at Pittsburgh by stomping hapless Connecticut 56-21. This is a spot Cincinnati has let me down in the past but I believe that they have moved passed that and I forgive them. Take the BEARCATS! |
