Philadelphia at Detroit 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Eagles- The Eagles notched their most lopsided victory of last season in Detroit with a 44-6 romp on Halloween, a loss Lions head coach Dan Campbell termed as embarrassing. Jalen Hurts and Jared Goff begin pivotal seasons as Goff threw for 19 touchdowns in 14 games during his first season with the Lions after getting traded by the Los Angeles Rams. The Lions are coming off a 3-13-1 season, though they did win three of their final six games. Hurts accounted for 26 touchdowns (16 passing, 10 rushing) in 15 starts in his second NFL season. The Eagles are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 road games and Detroit is 4-0 ATS in their last four home games. Take DETROIT! |

09-10-22 | USC v. Stanford +8.5 | Top | 41-28 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 31 m | Show |
U.S.C at Stanford 7:30 ET Cardinals (+) over Trojans- No. 10 Southern California will open Pac-12 Conference play against Stanford on Saturday at Palo Alto, Calif. The Trojans (1-0) won a 66-14 rout of Rice last week and it was the debut of Southern Cal head coach Lincoln Riley. USC has a number of transfers in a Trojans uniform for a the first time, Quarterback Caleb Williams, who followed Riley from Oklahoma, completed 19 of 22 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns which both of which went to Pitt transfer and reigning Biletnikoff Award-winning receiver Jordan Addison. The Cardinal (1-0) opened the season with a 41-10 romp over Colgate, an opponent from the Football Championship Subdivision. Stanford out-gained the Raiders 497-218, with quarterback Tanner McKee going 22-of-27 passing for 308 yards and two touchdowns. Cardinal is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Take STANFORD! |

09-10-22 | Arizona State +12.5 v. Oklahoma State | 17-34 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 14 m | Show
Arizona State at Oklahoma State 7:30 ET Sun Devils (+) over Cowboys- Oklahoma State quarterback Spencer Sanders a redshirt senior accounted for six of the seven touchdowns for the Cowboys (1-0) in last week's 58-44 home win over visiting Central Michigan. Sanders threw for 406 yards while completing 28 of 41 attempts with four touchdowns and no interceptions. He also rushed for 57 yards on 11 carries with two touchdowns. completed 13 of 18 passes for 152 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions last week in a 40-3 victory over Northern Arizona. He rushed 11 times for 48 yards and two touchdowns and has proven he can play at this level. The 'Numbers' said tread lightly but I'm moving forward. Take ARIZONA STATE! |
09-10-22 | Alabama v. Texas +21 | 20-19 | Win | 100 | 18 h 53 m | Show
Alabama at Texas 12:00 ET Longhorns (+) over Crimson Tide- Both clubs opened with lopsided wins with 'Bama routing Utah State 55-0 and Texas opened with a 52-10 rout of Louisiana-Monroe. Last year Texas stumbled to 5-7 in Steve Sarkisian's first season as coach and was formerly an offensive coordinator at Alabama and still has an advantage over 'Bama OC O'Brian. Texas is 7-1-1 all-time against Alabama with the loss coming in the BCS Championship Game at the end of the 2009 season and Crimson Tide are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Longhorns are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games. Take TEXAS! |
09-10-22 | South Carolina +9 v. Arkansas | 30-44 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 50 m | Show
South Carolina at Arkansas 12:00 ET Gamecocks (+) over Razorbacks- The Razorbacks (1-0) lead the all-time series 13-10 against South Carolina (1-0), but the Gamecocks have won the past three meetings, including a 48-22 win at Columbia, S.C., in 2017. Arkansas' coach with. Razorbacks quarterback KJ Jefferson threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns, while also running for another score and dominated the offense in a 31-24 victory over Cincinnati last week in a matchup of Top 25 teams. SC coach (Shane) Beamer's the son of former legendary Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer is using his father style with a pair of blocked punts returned for TD's last week. Take SOUTH CAROLINA! |
09-09-22 | Louisville +6 v. Central Florida | Top | 20-14 | Win | 100 | 9 h 9 m | Show |
Louisville at C. Florida 7:30 ET Cardinals (+) over Knights- Last Saturday Syracuse gained a measure of revenge on Louisville as the Cardinals had embarrassed the Orange in last year's meeting. Now, it is UL that is coming off an embarrassing play and will look to get it right against Central Florida who destroyed South Carolina State 56-10. They will find the competition a bit tougher this week. Cardinals are 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS loss and the Knights are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win. Last season, Louisville beat visiting UCF 42-35 with QB Malik Cunningham putting up 364 yards total, 265 yards and a touchdown through the air and 99 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Take LOUISVILLE! |
09-08-22 | Bills v. Rams +2.5 | Top | 31-10 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 53 m | Show |
Buffalo at L.A. Rams 8:25 ET Rams (+) over Bills- There is no question that the Bills are the 'Public' favorite in 2022 to win it all and for good reason as it appears they are ready to make the next step. L.A. of course is expected like most Super Bowl champs to fall back to the rest of the pack. I just wonder if a young coach like they have if he isn't still going to be driven. Allen, who passed for 4,407 yards, 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions last season, downplays the hype over the season opener. Stafford, who passed for 4,886 yards, 41 touchdowns and 17 interceptions last season. I just hope Stafford is healthy. Take the RAMS! |
09-05-22 | Clemson v. Georgia Tech +23.5 | Top | 41-10 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 54 m | Show |
Clemson at Georgia Tech 8:00 ET Yellow Jackets (+) over Tigers- Clemson opens the season Monday as a 22-point favorite against Georgia Tech in Atlanta as part of the annual college football Labor Day showcase. Tiger's QB junior quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is back after a poor 2021 showing as he had a completion rate of 55.6 percent and he threw for 2,246 yards, he averaged under 11 yards per completion. He finished with more interceptions (10) than touchdowns (nine). The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 3-9 season, including 2-6 in the ACC. Somehow, the Tigers cover. Take GEORGIA TECH! |
09-04-22 | Florida State +3.5 v. LSU | Top | 24-23 | Win | 100 | 17 h 52 m | Show |
Florida State at L.S.U. 7:30 ET Seminoles (+) over Tigers- Sunday night's game in New Orleans has Florida State (1-0) playing LSU in the Allstate Louisiana Kickoff in the Caesars Superdome. The Tigers went just 6-7 last season as Ed Orgeron was fired as head coach and Brian Kelly left Notre Dame to speak cajun. I just don't see Notre Dame's winningest coach going over on Bourbon Street. The Seminoles have a new look and attitude and boy do they need it. Tigers will begin this season without John Emery, who was projected to be the top running back. FSU 5-2 ATS last seven games while LSU is 1-4 ATS in last five non-conference encounters. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
09-03-22 | Boise State v. Oregon State -2 | Top | 17-34 | Win | 100 | 28 h 55 m | Show |
Boise State at Oregon State 10:30 ET Beavers (-) over Broncos- To start with the changes in Idaho have started to play out as Boise State is just not the dominating club that it has been the past two decades (7-5) their fewest wins since since 1998. Oregon State hasn't put together back-to-back winning seasons since 2012-13 and the Beavers were 6-0 on their home turf in 2021 while going 7-5 overall and playing in their first bowl game since 2013. Oregon State holds a 5-4 lead in the series and is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Take OREGON STATE! |
09-03-22 | Notre Dame +16 v. Ohio State | 10-21 | Win | 100 | 25 h 54 m | Show
Notre Dame at Ohio State 7:30 ET Buckeyes (-) over Fighting Irish- This one should be fun...as the storyline is this encounter is for dominance of the midwest media. The loser will not automatically be eliminated for one of the four spots in the College Football Playoff as no two loss club has ever been selected for the playoffs. The Fighting Irish (11-2 last year) are well regarded even with a novice in charge. Defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Marcus Freeman was promoted to head coach and a 'newbie' at QB as well. C. Stroud had 4,435 yards and 43 TD's...Take OHIO STATE! |
09-03-22 | Utah v. Florida +2.5 | Top | 26-29 | Win | 100 | 25 h 40 m | Show |
Utah at Florida 7:00 ET Gators (+) over Utes- I've already penciled the Utes into the Championship Series...haven't you! Yeah, like last year's North Carolina, the pundits and so-call experts are all over Utah to dominate the PAC-12 and west. When that much attention is bestowed on one team things usually don't go so well. Florida head coach Billy Napier is in his Gators debut and he went 40-12 the last four years at Louisiana. The Gators will be aided with the atmosphere at the Swamp and Utah needs to show it can win on the road last year when its losses came at BYU, at San Diego State, at Oregon State and in the Rose Bowl against Ohio State. Early season results have not been good for the Utes as they are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games in September. Take FLORIDA! |
09-03-22 | Houston v. UTSA +4 | 37-35 | Win | 100 | 21 h 58 m | Show
Houston at TX-San Antonio 3:30 ET Roadrunners (+) over Cougars- Both programs on the rise and battling for respectability as No. 24 Houston travels in-state to San Antonio to play the upstart UT Roadrunners. Houston went 12-2 in 2021, played for the American Athletic Conference championship and beat Auburn 17-13 in the Birmingham Bowl. UTSA also went 12-2 last season and climbed to No. 22 in the polls while going undefeated over its first 11 games. The Roadrunners won the Conference USA championship game and then lost to No. 24 San Diego State in the Frisco Bowl. San Antonio is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games. Take the ROADRUNNERS! |
09-03-22 | Cincinnati +7 v. Arkansas | Top | 24-31 | Push | 0 | 21 h 59 m | Show |
Cincinnati at Arkansas 3:30 ET Bearcats (+) over Razorbacks- This is the first meeting between these two schools don't have any history but they are both ranked side-by-side in the Top-25. Arkansa ranked No. 19 had a 9-4 record last year their best season in a decade and defeated Penn State 24-10 the Outback Bowl. Cincinnati of course made it to the Championships but were spanked by Alabama and the lost QB Desmond Ridder a 4-year starter with 43 wins. But, the Bearcats program is on the rise and most expect a huge drop-off from last season but, I don't. They are on the up swing and not getting the respect deserved. Take CINCINNATI! |
09-02-22 | Virginia Tech v. Old Dominion +6.5 | Top | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 7 h 37 m | Show |
Virginia Tech at Old Dominion 7:00 ET Monarchs (+) over Hokies- Last year after a 1-5 start Old Dominion rallied to finish the regular season with five wins in six games to capture a berth in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. They have 17 starters back, including 10 on offense, and transfers from Power 5 schools the Monarchs will be under-rated' out of the Sun Belt. Tech was just 6-7 last season and are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall and ODU is 5-1 ATS in their last six home games. Take OLD DOMINION! |
09-01-22 | Penn State v. Purdue +3.5 | Top | 35-31 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 53 m | Show |
Penn State at Purdue 8:00 ET Boilermakers (+) over Nittany- Boilermakers quarterback Aidan O'Connell had a prolific 2021 season throwing for 3,712 yards and 28 touchdowns while completing 71.6 percent of his passes as he paced Purdue to a 9-4 finish last fall and a Liberty Bowl win over Tennessee. Penn State started 2021 with a five-game winning streak that included two victories against ranked foes and a No. 4 national ranking of its own. But the Nittany Lions faltered after that, sputtering to a 7-6 finish that included a 24-10 loss to Arkansas in the Outback Bowl. The Nittany Lions have dominated the Boilermakers in the schools' history, going 15-3-1, including winning the past eight, But, O'Connell will be the difference here. Take PURDUE! |
02-13-22 | Rams -3.5 v. Bengals | Top | 23-20 | Loss | -110 | 72 h 52 m | Show |
L.A. Rams vs. Cincinnati 6:30 ET Rams (-) over Bengals- There is one thing that I can't get out of my mind and no it's not that Joe Burrow is a winner or that the Bengals have the confidence and 'Mojo' riding with them, it's that Cincinnati lost to the New York Jets. Yep! Burrow who led the NFL in a 70.4 completion record will be harassed by the Rams front and won't be able to throw while lying on his back. Los Angeles is playing at home although they will be considered the visitor and the crowd will not be an advantage with the way Super Bowl tickets are distributed. I've been to 23 Super Bowls and I would love to be at Sofi Stadium and just take in the atmosphere and energy that the game brings. The Rams have Super Bowl experience from two seasons ago while the Bengals have no big game experience and will be overwhelmed by the Rams defense. Take LOS ANGELES RAMS! |
01-30-22 | 49ers v. Rams -3.5 | 17-20 | Loss | -100 | 32 h 10 m | Show
San Francisco at L.A. Rams 6:40 ET Rams (-) over 49ers- The Niners have defeated the Rams six straight times and have been very physical doing it as many consider the Rams 'soft' in comparison. Los Angeles is supposed to be the home team as the game is at SoFi Stadium but if the attendance is anything like the first time they met in L.A. there may be more fans wearing red jerseys than the Rams blue. The most impressive performances in the postseason have been given to us by the Rams although last weeks giving up a 27-3 lead was due to four lost fumbles and they still won the game. More than anything I believe the difference this time out will be in the quarterbacking and I give a huge edge to the Rams. Take LOS ANGELES! |
01-30-22 | Bengals v. Chiefs -6.5 | Top | 27-24 | Loss | -130 | 46 h 59 m | Show |
Cincinnati at Kansas City 3:05 ET Chiefs (+) over Bengals- Can you envision Cincinnati in the Super Bowl...I can't! Don't get me wrong I like where they are and what the Bengals are doing especially with a winner like Joe Burrow. But, their time for this season is done. Kansas City has won 11 of 12 with their lone loss coming at Cincinnati as Joe Borrow passed for 415 yards with Ja'Marr Chase receiving 266 of those yards. The Bengals are 4-0 ATS in their last four as underdogs but are 2-6-1 ATS in their limited playoff experience, while the Chiefs are 6-0 ATS as home favorites and 6-2 ATS in their last eight playoff games. Take KANSAS CITY! |
01-23-22 | Rams v. Bucs -2.5 | 30-27 | Loss | -114 | 22 h 19 m | Show
L.A. Rams at Tampa Bay 3:00 ET Buccaneers (-) over Rams- After posting his first career playoff win Matthew Stafford will facing the winningest playoff quarterback in NFL history. What is lost in Stafford's performance was a defense and running game that was so dominate against Arizona that he only threw 17 passes. Earlier this season in Week 3 the Rams posted a 34-24 win over the Buccaneers in LA with Stafford tossing four TD passes and for 343 yards. The Rams looked unbeatable last week as they committed zero turnovers. I expect adjustments to be made by the Bucs...take TAMPA BAY! |
01-22-22 | 49ers +6 v. Packers | Top | 13-10 | Win | 100 | 22 h 24 m | Show |
San Francisco at Green Bay 8:15 ET 49ers (+) over Packers- I would feel a lot better about this one if I had stuck to my guns and 'fired' with the 49ers last week but alas it was not to be. This week I see more of the same. I know bucking Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay is a tough task and San Francisco may have left their best on the field in last weeks romp over the Cowboys. Niners whipped Green Bay in the 2019 NFC Championship game but the 'Pack' has won the two meetings since including their 30-28 win in the Bay area in Week 3. SF is 6-1 ATS as underdogs and 4-0 ATS in Division Playoffs while the Packers are 7-1 ATS at home and 11-1 ATS after a SU loss. Tough call but it is SAN FRANCISCO! |
01-22-22 | Bengals v. Titans -3.5 | 19-16 | Loss | -109 | 18 h 55 m | Show
Cincinnati at Tennessee 4:30 ET Bengals (+) over Titans- Looking into the face of Derrick Henry's return there is concern over his effectiveness but without him Tennessee is still formidable as their No. 1 seed has established. In previous playoffs Henry ran for over 175 yards in back-to-back games and with Tannehill being more than serviceable (21 TD's, 14 Ints) Titans are tough out. The upstart Bengals has a Q that has been a winner at every level and he's doing it against Joe Burrow had an NFL best 70.4 completion percentage, 4,611 yards passings with 34 TD passes. His ole college All-American receiver JaMarr Chase are spectacular together. But the Bengals have already overachieved. Take TENNESSEE! |
01-17-22 | Cardinals v. Rams -3.5 | Top | 11-34 | Win | 100 | 12 h 46 m | Show |
Arizona at L.A. Rams 8:15 ET Rams (+) over Cardinals- This is the third meeting of the season between these two division rivals with each club winning on the road. Arizona started the year 7-0 but they have gone 4-6 since that start including just 1-4 in their last five games. Los Angeles won the division but are just 2-5 against playoff teams but are 8-1-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Although the Cardinals are 18-6-2 ATS as road underdogs they are just 3-8 ATS against teams with winning records. The Rams are 11-4-1 ATS after a SU loss and the favorite is 8-2-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Take LOS ANGELES! |
01-16-22 | Steelers v. Chiefs -11.5 | 21-42 | Win | 100 | 12 h 4 m | Show
Pittsburgh at Kansas City 8:15 ET Chiefs (-) over Steelers- So with Big Ben leading the way the Steelers are they team that doesn't belong. Everyone has got to feel that they backdoored their way into the playoffs. After all I was calling them a hoax even when I was betting on them. So, now the odds makers are telling us all that Pittsburgh is in over their heads in this matchup. What gets me here is that Tomlin's teams always give everything they have and I wonder of they have left everything they have on the field against the Ravens. I don't see the public on the Steelers and I can see why as the Chiefs are the glamor team. KC already destroyed Pittsburgh three weeks ago 36-10 as the Steelers totaled 225 yards on offense. Take KANSAS CITY! |
01-16-22 | 49ers v. Cowboys -2.5 | Top | 23-17 | Loss | -125 | 8 h 22 m | Show |
San Francisco at Dallas 4:30 ET 49ers (+) over Cowboys- The moment I saw this 'number' I said aloud 'the Cowboys are in trouble.' We posted Dallas as our Megabucks winner on Saturday and they responded by trouncing the under-manned Eagles but this time around they are playing a team that is getting healthy. Dak Prescott has remained inconsistent and when he makes an error here it will cost him and the Cowboys. The Niners have turned it around and will try to dominate the front lines but will find the Cowboys tougher than the realized them would be. The Cowboys are No. 1 in takeaways with 34 and they should cause Jimmy G to have his moments of carelessness. The favorite is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Take DALLAS! |
01-16-22 | Eagles +9.5 v. Bucs | 15-31 | Loss | -130 | 5 h 51 m | Show
Philadelphia at Tampa Bay 1:00 ET Eagles (+) over Buccaneers- This is the second meeting of the season between these two clubs with Tampa Bay (-7) winning at Philadelphia 28-22 back on October 14 as the Bucs dominated 'Time of Possession' virtually 40 minutes to 20. (off 4 seconds). Eagles running back Miles Sanders is good enough to go even with a broken hand. Tampa is 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS at home this season but the Eagles are 10-1 ATS in their last playoff games as underdogs and the dog is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. TB is 0-5 ATS in their last five Wildcard games and 1-5 ATS as playoff favorites. Take PHILADELPHIA. |
01-15-22 | Patriots +4.5 v. Bills | Top | 17-47 | Loss | -102 | 23 h 41 m | Show |
New England at Buffalo 8:15 ET Patriots (+) over Bills- The first two meetings between these AFC rivals were totally different as the Patriots dominated the ground game in the first encounter allowing the Bills just 99 yards rushing while accumulating 222 yards on land themselves. Buffalo dominated the the second meetings gaining 428 yards and holding New England to 288 total yards. The Bills who is ranked No. 1 on defense finished the season with four straight wins while the Patriots lost three of their last four. Stat wise the road team is 19-6-2 ATS in the last 27 meetings and the underdog is 5-1-1 ATS in the last six meets. Take NEW ENGLAND! |
01-15-22 | Raiders +6 v. Bengals | Top | 19-26 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 41 m | Show |
Las Vegas at Cincinnati 4:35 ET Raiders (+) over Bengals- Another rematch between of a game played in Las Vegas where the Bengals won 32-13 despite gaining just 278 yards on total defense but took advantage of three Raiders turnovers. Las Vegas has won four straight to get here and it wasn't an easy road with all the turmoil the team faced this season. Derek Carr has passed for a career high 4,804 yards with 23 touchdowns and says that this time they will put their 'best foot forward.' The raiders are 6-2 ATS as road underdogs but are 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings. Cincinnati is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games against teams with winning records and are 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven playoff games. Take LAS VEGAS! |
01-09-22 | Chargers v. Raiders +3 | 32-35 | Win | 100 | 27 h 13 m | Show
L.A. Chargers at Las Vegas 8:20 ET Raiders (+) over Chargers- Hard to believe after all that they have been through that the Raiders are poised to make it to the playoffs with a win in Las Vegas. Concerns over the volume of 'local' money can hurt the Vegas Sports Books to accept a liability. But when I look at this game I see the Chargers as the 'public' choice and that's not good for them in big games. Experience might be the key to the outcome and Derek Carr has it and Justin Herbert is now getting it. The underdogs is 18-7 ATS in the last 25 meetings and they should get the money against here. Take LAS VEGAS! |
01-09-22 | Jets v. Bills -16 | 10-27 | Win | 100 | 24 h 49 m | Show
Blowout Game of the Week New York Jets at Buffalo 4:25 ET Bills (-) over Jets- Here it is my second 'Blowout Game of the Week' the first ended with a 59-21 Ohio State win. I could give you a lot of junk like the Jets have the worst defense allowing 396 YPG and Buffalo is No.1 in defense allowing just 276 YPG. New York is also last in points allowed with 30 and are heart broken the way they collapsed in the final minute against Tampa Bay a game in which they never trailed and lead until the final seconds. Bills stampede New York and ground the Jets to clinch the AFC East. Take BUFFALO! |
01-09-22 | Seahawks +5.5 v. Cardinals | 38-30 | Win | 100 | 23 h 38 m | Show
Seattle at Arizona 4:25 ET Seahawks (+) over Cardinals- Arizona came up big last week against Dallas and clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2015 and they did some celebrating. Seattle also won big last week big their was celebrating as the Seahawks close a dreadful season having won three of the last five games. Russell Wilson's injury aside Seattle's defense has been terrible ranked 30th of the 32 NFL teams but they are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 games as underdogs and 11-5 ATS on the road as dogs. Arizona is 9-24 ATS iN their last 33 as home favorites. Take SEATTLE! |
01-09-22 | Patriots v. Dolphins +6.5 | Top | 24-33 | Win | 100 | 24 h 29 m | Show |
New England at Miami 4:25 ET Dolphins (+) over Patriots- It has been 22 years since the Dolphins won a playoff game and it won't happen this season either as they have missed the playoffs for the fifth straight year. New England has an outside chance of winning the AFC East if the Bills tank against the Jets in Buffalo but don't count on it. The Pats are aware of this and could be caught scoreboard watching and that won't help as they already have troubles in Miami where they are 2-7 ATS in their last nine trips to South Beach. Fins looking to finish above .500 and rebound from their horrible outing at Tennessee last week as they are 10-2 ATS after allowing 30 points of more the previous week. Take MIAMI! |
01-09-22 | Washington Football Team v. Giants +7 | 22-7 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 42 m | Show
Washington at New York Giants 1:00 ET Giants (+) over Former Football Team- Gotta, love it...the 'Clown Show of the Week' happens in New York where the Giants are 7-17 ATS in their last 24 as home underdogs. While the Giants have been a 'Clown Show' on the field (last week passing for -10 yards) Washington has been more physical on the sidelines with their own teammates than on the field. The Giants coach isn't the only one being chastised by the media the players are feeling it as well. 'Team to be Named' later is 2-7 ATS as favorites. Take the GIANTS! |
01-09-22 | Steelers v. Ravens -3.5 | 16-13 | Loss | -107 | 20 h 40 m | Show
Pittsburgh at Baltimore 1:00 ET Ravens (-) over Steelers- Okay, hats off to Big Ben and for pulling off their final hoo-rah in Pittsburgh as we all realize that it is the end of the line for a great QB. The Ravens on the other hand have lost four straight and like the Steelers are virtually out of the playoffs with wild scenarios needed to sneak in. Baltimore has lost five straight with three games by one point and another by two in their five games. Despite this game instilling some playoff hopes the Steelers should be emotionally spent after last week's win over the Browns. Although this is an underdog series the Ravens are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 at home and are favored with a 2nd string QB that hasn't had a winning start. Think about that...Take BALTIMORE! |
01-09-22 | Bengals v. Browns -5.5 | 16-21 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 27 m | Show
Cincinnati at Cleveland 1:00T Browns (-) over Bengals- With both starting quarterbacks sidelined for this season finale the Bengals are most assuredly trying to get out of Cleveland without any mishaps. The Browns have been eliminated from the playoffs and Baker Mayfield is already under the knife while the Bengals Joe Burrow is mending on the sidelines. It doesn't matter to me who starts for who here at QB it's a matter of Cincinnati looking ahead to the playoffs while the Browns try and avoid a double-digit loss season. The line is telling you how this one should go. Take CLEVELAND! |
01-08-22 | Cowboys -4.5 v. Eagles | Top | 51-26 | Win | 100 | 31 h 45 m | Show |
Dallas at Philadelphia 8:15 ET Cowboys (-) over Eagles- So, you tell me, who is going to play? How many guys are hurting and how many more are on COVID list and who is ready after coming off the list are factors that surround this contest. But, basically after getting beat they way they did to Arizona I can see the Cowboys riding into town and ringing that Liberty Bell as the Eagles come back win last week clinched a playoff spot but they have been hard hit and are infections. Note the Cowboys are 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games and the favorite is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings.Take DALLAS! |
01-08-22 | Chiefs v. Broncos +11.5 | 28-24 | Win | 100 | 27 h 1 m | Show
Kansas City at Denver 4:40 ET Broncos (+) over Chiefs- Right now at 11-5 Kansas City os the No. 1 seed in the AFC and that first round bye is a great luxury and advantage. As double-digit favorites they should feel very confident despite blowing a 14-point lead in the loss at Cincinnati last week as they have defeated the broncos 12 straight times. Denver has lost three straight and was eliminated from the playoffs last week with their loss to the Chargers. 'We' has the Chiefs (-9) 22-9 in the first meetings this season although the Broncs out-gained KC 404-267 in total yards. A reversal of fortune this time as the dog gets the money. Take DENVER! |

01-04-22 | LSU +7.5 v. Kansas State | Top | 20-42 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 26 m | Show |
Chip's Hotline Texas Bowl Winner Las Vegas Hilton Champion, 'Big Game Player' and Handicapping Award winner Chip Chirimbes was 3-1-1 New Year's Day including his EIGHTH straight 'Highest-Rated' Megabucks Game of Year release with Georgia (-7.5) 37-11 over Michigan on Saturday. Chip is now 12-2 84% with his last 14 'Highest-Rated' NCAA Megabucks releases. Tuesday, Chip is releasing a Vegas Hotline winner in the Texas Bowl between LSU and Kansas State. Get it for only $39! L.S.U. vs Kansas State 9:00 ET Wildcats (-) over Tigers- There are just two many questions surrounding the LSU program right now including players availability along with coaches coming and going among others. Offensive line coach Brad Davis will serve as interim coach replacing 2-years removed National Champion Ed Orgeron and starting quarterback Max Johnson has transferred and his backup is questionable. Kansas State has sixth year QB Skylar Thompson leading the attack and looking for his first bowl victory. Their last time out I labeled LSU as my SEC Game of the Year a 27-24 OUTRIGHT winner over Texas A&M. With all that happening around them the Tigers still have bite as they are 6-0 ATS against the Big-12 and they are 5-1 ATS in their last six bowl games and it is the SEC versus the Big-12. Take LOUISIANA STATE! Chip's 'Called' 2021 NCAA FT Games of the Year 8-0 100% 10/10 Georgia vs Alabama........................... |
01-03-22 | Browns +2.5 v. Steelers | Top | 14-26 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 60 m | Show |
Cleveland at Pittsburgh 8:15 ET Browns (+) over Steelers- With Cincinnati winning the AFC North a pair of also ran who still have playoff hopes clash in Pittsburgh. Cleveland (8-7) was the favorite in the division before the season began has dropped their last two games both by two points while the Steelers are still alive at 7-7-1. Pittsburgh has gone 2-4-1 SU in their last seven games and I believe that that are the imposter. Although the Browns are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings but the underdogs is also 4-1 ATS in the last five meets. The Steel Curtain has been exposed as the Steelers are 1-8 ATS as home favorites. Take CLEVELAND! |
01-02-22 | Cardinals +6.5 v. Cowboys | 25-22 | Win | 101 | 9 h 43 m | Show
Arizona at Dallas 4:25 ET Cardinals (+) over Cowboys- Okay, now I saw why they mored the Rams/Ravens to a 1pm start as they moved this Waterloo Game in week 16. Arizona who started so fast winning their first seven are stumbling before the playoffs are now seeded fifth. Dallas has clinched the East but has some stay healthy while waiting for No. 1 seed Green Bay to fall (fat chance). If the Red Birds don't win here I truly think that that are 'done' and I have many close to me that have been saying it for weeks. To me, if they can't pit it together here then they are 'done.' Take ARIZONA! |
01-02-22 | Rams v. Ravens +6.5 | 20-19 | Win | 100 | 5 h 26 m | Show
L.A. Rams at Baltimore 1:00 ET Ravens (+) over Rams- I can't not do it...I can not pass on the Ravens here no matter who their quarterback may be. To start with why has been this game been moved from a 4:25 ET start to 1:00pm. I would say that if I am a Ravens fan I could be happier as west coast teams play early games on the east coast don't fare very well. I would not quit on these Black Birds as they fly highest when the least is expected of them. Rams are 0-3-1 ATS in the last four meetings and Ravens are 15-5-1 ATS in last 21 games as underdogs. Take BALTIMORE! |
01-02-22 | Eagles v. Washington Football Team +5 | Top | 20-16 | Win | 100 | 6 h 40 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Washington 1:00 ET Swampers (+) over Eagles- Yes the Eagles are soaring winning five of their last six and they currently hold the final NFC playoff spot at 8-7. During that streak they faced four back-up QB's, Zach Wilson and Teddy Bridgewater. Washington will present a dual challenge as Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen will share the quarterback duties. At 6-9 the Football Team still has a shot at the playoffs and they remember how they got in the playoffs last season (Philly laid down) and this year they can beat Philadelphia on merit. Take WASHINGTON! |
01-01-22 | Baylor +1.5 v. Ole Miss | 21-7 | Win | 100 | 23 h 53 m | Show
Sugar Bowl, New Orleans, Louisiana 8:45 ET Baylor vs Mississippi Bears (+) over Rebels- Baylor is going to try and run the ball and they should be able to if all goes to Hoyle. The Bears run for 215 yards a game and Mississippi's defense allows 183 YPG ranking them 102 in the nation against the run. But, what the Rebels do have is an offense that averages 507 YPG which is 4th nationally. The Bears are 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games as underdogs and are 43-21 ATS in their last 64 games against winning teams. As successful as Mississippi is they are only 3-10 ATS on field turf but still 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight bowl games. Take BAYLOR! |
01-01-22 | Utah +4.5 v. Ohio State | Top | 45-48 | Win | 100 | 19 h 10 m | Show |
Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA 5:00 ET Utah vs Ohio State Utes (+) over Buckeyes- Does The Ohio State University really even want to be here! I mean they never even go to the Big Ten Championship game lost to Michigan to close their regular season and end up with the consolation prize the Rose Bowl which is pretty good if you represent the Big Ten as champions and not as also rans. Utah closed the season in a flurry and hammered an Oregon team twice that beaten the Buckeyes in their season opener. OSU lead the nation in total offense (551 YPG) and the Utes strength is their No. 13 ranked defense allowing just 317 YPG. There has been too much time between games for offenses to remain sharp. The numbers (stats) will mean nothing here, what will matters is the players incentive and I don't believe that the Buckeyes have it. Take UTAH! |
01-01-22 | Kentucky v. Iowa +3 | 20-17 | Push | 0 | 15 h 16 m | Show
Citrus Bowl, Orlando, Florida 1:00 ET Kentucky vs Iowa Wildcats over Hawkeyes- This one has me a bit confused as I loved a side at first jump and now have had to consider other options. When I saw Iowa as a 1-point favorite my thinking was that the Hawkeyes are in trouble. After all who is the football school, who was fighting for the Big Ten championship it was the Hawkeyes and I thought that they look too inviting and that Kentucky was the side. But not so fast...Wildcats ran for 471 yards last time out and Iowa was embarrassed 42-2 by Michigan. I see the Hawkeyes playing with that bad taste in their mouth and they don't like it. Take IOWA! |
01-01-22 | Oklahoma State +1 v. Notre Dame | Top | 37-35 | Win | 100 | 15 h 7 m | Show |
Fiesta Bowl, Glendale, Arizona 1:00 ET Oklahoma State vs. Notre Dame Cowboys (+) over Fighting Irish- There is a circumstance where coaches with bowl experience against coaches in their first bowl appearances have a major advantage and that should put Oklahoma State and coach Mike Gundy in the driver's seat. Marcus Freeman to the Fighting Irish player delight was name head coach after Brian Kelly flew the coop to LSU. Cowboys defense allows third lowest offensive yards a game at 273.6. Irish will have to 'fight' to move the ball. Take OKLAHOMA STATE! |
01-01-22 | Arkansas v. Penn State +2.5 | 24-10 | Loss | -100 | 15 h 49 m | Show
Outback Bowl, Tampa, FL 12:00 ET Arkansas vs Penn State Nittany Lions (+) over Razorbacks- At 8-4 No. 21 Arkansas is ranked above 7-5 No. 23 Penn State and rightfully so. The Razorbacks impressed the public early with a smash mouth win over Texas A&M while running for over 200 yards but, there is more to this team as they passed for 224 yards a game, not great but displaying great balance on offense. Hogs are 2-5 ATS in last seven as favorites and 5-11-2 ATS in non-conference games. Penn State is ranked 7th in points allowed with just 16.8 a game and were disabled this season when Sean Clifford when down. He's healthy now and the 'Backs are in trouble. Lions are 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 non-conference games. Take PENN STATE! |
12-31-21 | Georgia -7.5 v. Michigan | Top | 34-11 | Win | 100 | 11 h 53 m | Show |
Orange Bowl, Miami, Florida 7:30 ET Georgia vs Michigan Bulldogs (-) over Wolverines- I like this game so much that I'm going to attend it and cheer on my CFP Game of the Year winner Georgia. I do this without predication as it was I that posted Michigan as My Big Ten Game of Yea winner over Ohio State and I who posted Alabama OUTRIGHT over Georgia for SEC Championship winners. The 'price' on this one is an invitation to play on a team (Michigan) that won their biggest game in school history (Ohio State) and last time out won the Big Ten Championship 42-3 over Iowa. Now, 'they' tempt you with generous points that will not come onto play. Take GEORGIA! |
12-31-21 | Cincinnati +14 v. Alabama | 6-27 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 51 m | Show
Cotton Bowl, Dallas, Texas 3:30 ET Cincinnati vs Alabama Bearcats (+) over Crimson Tide- Tough call after what we have seen Heisman Trophy winner Alabama QB Bryce Young do the Georgia but the Bearcats believe that they have the best secondary in the nation and are ready to meet the challenge. Cincinnati is undefeated (13-0) and ranks dead even with the Tide in total defense at 305 yards allowed per game each. Of course the Crimson played a at different level of competition. But, it has been stated, 'boys that they have to put on their pants one-leg-at-a-time.' Bearcats 6-0 ATS against teams with winning records while the Tide are 2-5 ATS after an ATS win. Take CINCINNATI! |
12-30-21 | Arizona State +6.5 v. Wisconsin | Top | 13-20 | Loss | -101 | 14 h 56 m | Show |
Las Vegas Bowl, Las Vegas, Nevada 10:30 ET Arizona State vs Wisconsin Sun Devils (+) over Badgers- What bothers me here is how well the Badgers travel. I seen them in road games, I've seen them in bowl games and their faithful always show up strong so don't think that the proximity of Tempe to Las Vegas will matter. What I do think will matter is the overall team speed of Arizona State and I must respect their coaching. Wisconsin started the season slowly and came on until their final game that kept them out of the Rose Bowl...they could give a crap about playing here and that's the Sun Devils best chance. Take ARIZONA STATE! |
12-30-21 | Pittsburgh +3 v. Michigan State | Top | 21-31 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 42 m | Show |
Peach Bowl, Atlanta, Georgia 7:00 ET Pittsburgh vs Michigan State Panthers (+) over Spartans- Big stars gone for both sides as the Spartans leading rusher and All-American Kenneth Walker III winner of the Doak Walker and Walter Camp Player of the Year Awards. Pittsburgh will be without quarterback Kenny Pickett and with his announcement the line more from the Panthers being a 3-1/2 point favorite to a 3-1/2 point underdog as many feel the loss of the QB would have more impact. But actually with the Panther sunder-rated defense able to take advantage of the worst pass defense in the nation. Take PITTSBURGH! |
12-30-21 | Purdue +7 v. Tennessee | 48-45 | Win | 100 | 7 h 33 m | Show
Music City Bowl, Nashville, Tenn 3:00 ET Tennessee vs Purdue Boilermakers (+) over Volunteers- I can't get away from it, they Boilermakers have been good to me as winners against Iowa, Nebraska and Michigan State and then getting killed by Ohio State (Blowout Game of Year 59-31 winner). Things have changed as Purdue has had a number of top offensive producers bow out and the number has moved more than a touchdown. As long as O'Connell is playing for the 'Steel Workers' you have a shot. Take PURDUE! |
12-29-21 | Oregon +6.5 v. Oklahoma | 32-47 | Loss | -100 | 14 h 33 m | Show
Alamo Bowl, San Antonio, Texas 9:15 ET Oregon vs Oklahoma Ducks (+) over Sooners- Man, knowing what must be happening on the sidelines of both schools could be the key to winning this game. Oregon and Oklahoma both saw their coaches enter the transfer portals and move to other spots of paradise. The Sooners were undefeated and knocking on the FCS door and then ran into Baylor and Oklahoma State, alas here they are without their coach and original All-American QB (gone) while the wounded Ducks look to recover from a pair beating to Utah. Ducks at their highest were ranked better than Oklahoma at any point of the season. Take OREGON! |
12-29-21 | Iowa State +3 v. Clemson | Top | 13-20 | Loss | -113 | 10 h 10 m | Show |
Cheez-It Bowl, Orlando, Florida 5:45 ET Iowa State vs Clemson Cyclones (+) over Tigers- Talk about a 'Tale of Two Seasons' the Clemson Tigers would love nothing better than to have a 'do over' for the first half of the year. They finished with five straight wins and 8-of-9 but never really found any kind of explosiveness need in today's game. Iowa State was disappointing with five losses and will be without their All-American running back Breece Hall so the offensive load will fall om quarterback Brock Purdy the Big-12 total offense leader. Tigers defense ranks No. 2 but incentive may be lacking. Take IOWA STATE! |
12-29-21 | Maryland -3.5 v. Virginia Tech | 54-10 | Win | 100 | 7 h 32 m | Show
Pinstripe Bowl, Bronx, New York 2:15 ET Maryland vs Virginia Tech Terrapins (+) over Hokies- If this matchup was on a basketball court with their 'cagers' it might be a better contest as both once former ACC rivals are 6-6 for the year. We have another Tagovailoa to deal with as Taulia leads the Maryland offense that crushed Rutgers 40-16 in their regular season finale to become bowl eligible making it to the postseason for the first time in five years. Virginia Tech who fired their coach Justin Fuente when 5-5 and defeated rival Virginia to qualify for this meeting. Hokies will be without their starting QB and leading pass catcher have opted out of this game. Take MARYLAND! |
12-28-21 | West Virginia +5 v. Minnesota | Top | 6-18 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 51 m | Show |
Guaranteed Rate Bowl, Phoenix, AZ 10:15 ET West Virginia vs Minnesota Mountaineers (+) over Golden Gophers- I'm going to start with the last game of the day and the game that will most likely be the most 'one-sided' bet game of the day. Let me tell to compare the 'numbers' between these two their isn't a chance in hell that you would in your right mind want West Virginia. Take a gander at this, the Mountaineers are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 bowl games and are 0-4 ATS as neutral site underdogs. Minnesota on the flip side is 4-0 ATS in their last four bowl games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games as favorites. Number never lie but they can be very misleading...Take WEST VIRGINIA! |
12-28-21 | Texas Tech v. Mississippi State -9.5 | 34-7 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 37 m | Show
Liberty Bowl, Memphis, Tenn 6:45 ET Mississippi State vs Texas Tech Bulldogs (-) over Red Raiders- Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach on the Texas Tech sideline for a decade posting a winning record of 84-43 leading the Red Raiders to a bowl game each season. The Bulldogs scored 31 PPG this season with quarterback Will Rodgers threw for 35 TD's and an SEC leading 4,449 yards passing. Tech was lost at QB this season using three different starters and still don't have the answer. Bulldogs 5-1 ATS in last six with just a loss to Mississippi in the Egg Bowl, while the Red Raiders are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 bowl games and 1-5 ATS against the SEC. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE! |
12-28-21 | Louisville +1 v. Air Force | 28-31 | Loss | -113 | 16 h 56 m | Show
First Responder Bowl, Dallas, Texas 3:15 ET Air Force vs Louisville Cardinals over Falcons- My first thoughts when learning of this matchup was 'good spot' for me to take the Air Force and if you gaze at the stats they would only reenforce one's original thoughts. The Falcons may fly high but it is their ground game which led the FBS in rushing with 341.4 PYG (yes more than both Army and Navy) This is sure to fire up the Louisville defense which allowed Kentucky 362 yards rushing in their final game a 52-21 loss. Doesn't look to good for the Cardinals as Air Force won this last game over UNLV by running for 511 and didn't attempt a pass.Thing is, the Cardinals have a better overall offense averaging 451 YPG and are better balanced. Take LOUISVILLE! |
12-27-21 | Dolphins v. Saints +3.5 | Top | 20-3 | Loss | -117 | 12 h 57 m | Show |
Miami at New Orleans 8:15 ET Saints (+) over Dolphins- The stats and wins are piling up for the Dolphins side as they have won six straight games while establishing a defense thats rank second over that period in fewest yards allowed. New Orleans will be starting their fourth quarterback this season as COVID has knocked out Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian and the season's starter Jameis Winston was knocked out with injury. But, not to worry as former Notre Dame QB Ian Book will get the start. Miami's Tua Tagovailoa has completed 70% of his passes but will be against a defense that shutout the Super Bowl Champions last week and will force Tua who is still prone to rookie mistakes into turning the ball over. The Dolphins streak has them defeating only one winning team and that was the floundering Ravens. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
12-26-21 | Jaguars +2 v. Jets | 21-26 | Loss | -103 | 6 h 34 m | Show
Jacksonville at New York Jets 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Jets- The No. 1 and No. 2 picks in the 2021 NFL Draft will face off in New York where the 3-11 Jets with Zach Wilson host 2-12 Jacksonville with Trevor Lawrence. Neither of these two could possibly have envisioned what their rookie seasons would be like. Lawrence has thrown only one TD passing the past seven games but he hasn't been up against this Jets defense yet, Ranked dead last allowing 392 YPG should help the Jaguars anemic offense. Jets flying with wounded wings as their entire secondary in on their third round of players. Jaguars are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings and even at home the Jets just can't be favored. Take JACKSONVILLE! |
12-26-21 | Rams v. Vikings +3.5 | 30-23 | Loss | -120 | 5 h 25 m | Show
L.A. Rams at Minnesota 1:00 ET Vikings (+) over Rams- I could always go to the 'who needs in more' crap but Minnesota does need it more and have won their last two but were grossly out-played by the losing Bears. Los Angeles was getting by inept Seattle winning their third straight (all covers) and seem to be hitting on all cylinders but were greatly enhanced by opponents unforced errors and official calls. LA 2-5 ATS as favorites and 0-6 ATS in the last six meetings. The Vikings are 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 games as home underdogs. Take MINNESOTA! |
12-26-21 | Bucs v. Panthers +10 | 32-6 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 18 m | Show
Tampa Bay at Carolina 1:00 ET Panthers (+) over Buccaneers- After starting the season 3-0 Carolina has taken a huge fall and last lost seven of their last nine including the last four without an ATS win. Tampa Bay of course is off having lost to New Orleans 9-0 as I have never seen Tom Brady look worse. Cam Newton (the future?) will start once again and they have yet to win a game in which he has started. The Buccaneers are banged up to the point of resigning Brown and bringing in everybody's favorite Le'Veon Bell. Tampa is just not in sync right now. Take CAROLINA! |
12-25-21 | Colts v. Cardinals | Top | 22-16 | Loss | -110 | 34 h 11 m | Show |
Indianapolis at Arizona 8:15 ET Cardinals over Colts- Arizona started the year 7-0 and it appeared that they would run away with the NFC West considering the slow start by both the Niners, Seahawks and Rams. But, things being what they are in the NFL they have lost 4-of-7 including a loss at Detroit last week that casts doubts on their capabilities of winning the West. The Colts have taken a different path as they started 1-4 but have won 5-of 6 including a huge victory over New England last Saturday. Indy relies on Jonathan Taylor's running and for the Cardinals that will be a challenge as they rank 27th against the rush. This is a very short line for the most part as the Red Birds have doubts about James Conner's status as he hasn't practiced this week. None-the-less Kyler Murray will raise here and guide his side to a victory. Take ARIZONA! |
12-25-21 | Browns +7.5 v. Packers | 22-24 | Win | 100 | 30 h 20 m | Show
Cleveland at Green Bay 4:30 ET Browns (+) over Packers- Anytime you play against Green Bay when Aaron Rodgers is healthy you are putting yourself in peril. The Packers are 11-3 both SU and ATS and have already clinched the NFC Central and are the No. 1 seed in the Conference. Meanwhile the Browns are scrambling to qualify for the postseason and after great expectations are just 7-7 and in desperate need of a win here. Rodgers is the league's leading passer with a 110.4 rating and has the lowest interception percentage at 0.91 but will be up against (when healthy) one of the AFC's better defenses and running games. The Browns seem to rise against better opponents and are 5-1 ATS against teams with winning home records. Take CLEVELAND! |
12-25-21 | Ball State +6 v. Georgia State | Top | 20-51 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 26 m | Show |
Georgia State and Ball State 2:30 ET Cardinals (+) over Panthers- Both of these clubs had to made late season runs to become bowl eligible as Georgia State who started 1-4 won six of their final seven games and posted their first ever eight win season. Ball State clinched a bowl spot with a win in their final game 20-3 over Buffalo. Defense has been key for both squads and I expect a low scoring game...Take the points BALL STATE! |
12-23-21 | 49ers v. Titans +3.5 | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 13 h 46 m | Show
San Francisco at Tennessee 8:20 ET Titans (+) over 49ers- The Niners are 'hot' and the Titans are not as we enter the final three games of the NFL regular season. San Francisco has won and 'covered' five of their last six while Tennessee has dropped 3-of 4 both SU and ATS with the Titans blowing a 13-3 halftime lead against the Steelers last Sunday and the 49ers dominating the Falcons. Without Derrick Henry quarterback Ryan Tannehill has thrown sin interceptions in the past four games but with the return of receiver A.J. Brown the Titans expect better results this week. Niners have had problems on Thursday nights going 3-8 ATS in their last 11 and the Titans are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games as underdogs. Take TENNESSEE! |
12-23-21 | Central Florida v. Florida -7 | 29-17 | Loss | -107 | 11 h 57 m | Show
Gasparilla Bowl- Tampa, Florida Central Florida vs Florida 7:00 ET Gators (-) over Knights- At 6-6 is was a disappointing season for the Gators as they eked by Florida State 24-21 in their final game of the season to qualify for a bowl game. So bad a year it was for Florida that they fired head coach Dan Mullen before their final game against the Seminoles. Turmoil is the best way to describe Florida's position as starting quarterback Anthony Richardson will not play because of a knee injury and Emery Jones will start despite his entering the transfer portal after the game. The Knights will start true freshman Mikey Keene who took over for injured QB Dillon Gabriel who himself has also entered the transfer portal to UCLA. UCF has been disappointing as underdogs going 1-4 ATS in their last five in the role and are 6-15 ATS in their last 21 games overall. The Gators are 6-2 ATS in their last eight bowl games as favorites and 12-5 ATS as favorites at neutral sites. Take FLORIDA! |
12-22-21 | Missouri +6.5 v. Army | Top | 22-24 | Win | 100 | 12 h 50 m | Show |
Armed Forces Bowl- Fort Worth, Texas Missouri vs Army 8:00 ET Tigers (+) over Black Knights- Having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War I am always looking for an opportunity to 'play' on the Cadets and it is always difficult for me to bet against them. When looking at the stats of these two clubs it appears that the Army should dominate in what they do best as they average 286.4 yards a game rushing and Missouri allows 228.8 yards a game on the ground. One thing you always get from the military academies is a solid effort and after their loss to Navy I expect a big effort here from the Knights. Missouri had lost 12 straight games to the 'number' covering the past two seasons before closing the year 3-1 ATS but are off a loss to Arkansas in their final game. The Tigers did one thing well this season and that is protection the ball as they had the least amount of turnovers in the nation. With Army the favorite against an SEC team I believe is a stretch no matter what the stats say as they are 2-5 ATS as favorites. Take MISSOURI! |
12-21-21 | San Diego State v. UTSA +3 | Top | 38-24 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 37 m | Show |
Cafe Frisco Bowl- Frisco, Texas Texas-San Antonio vs San Diego State 7:30 ET Road Runners (+) over Aztecs- Both clubs are looking to establish school records for wins in the season as UTSA (12-1) is in just its 10th year as an FBS program and is looking for their first bowl win in school history. San Diego State (11-2) enter this contest after getting thumped in the WAC Championship game by Utah State 46-13 although they allowed only 19.5 PPG holding opponents under 16 points seven times and rank No. 14 in yards allowed per game at 319. What makes this an even tougher call is that the Roadrunners USA Offensive Player of the Year Sincere McCormick is passing this game to enter the NFL draft. UTSA is 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games as underdogs while SDS is 0-4-1 ATS in their last five as favorites. Take TEXAS-SAN ANTONIO! |
12-21-21 | Seahawks +7 v. Rams | Top | 10-20 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 49 m | Show |
Seattle at L.A. Rams 7:00 ET Seahawks (+) over Rams- Thursday the Rams has 25 players in virus protocol and the list grew to 29 on Friday including a pair of defensive All-pro's in Jalen Ramsey and Von Miller. Seattle has won their last two with the return of Russell Wilson but have not been impressive as they rank dead last in defense allowing 395 yards per game and their offense is ranked No. 28 averaging only 310 YPG. One thing to keep in mind is that Wilson was out five of those games. The Seahawks are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games as road underdogs but are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings with the Rams but they are one of four NFL teams that hasn't lost any players to the protocol. LA has a huge 30-23 win over Arizona last time out but are 0-4 ATS after scoring 30 points or more and are 1-5 ATS in their last six games as favorites. Player the healthier team...take SEATTLE! |
12-21-21 | Wyoming v. Kent State +3.5 | 52-38 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 44 m | Show
Idaho Potato Bowl- Boise, Idaho Kent State vs Wyoming 3:30 ET Golden Flashes (+) over Cowboys- I have always been a Cowboys fan but the Golden Flashes can shower you with points averaging 32.6 PPG while Wyoming will mosey you to sleep on offense scoring just 23.2 PPG. Kent enters this fray off a crushing MAC final defeat to Northern Illinois 41-23 although they out-gained the Huskies from the line scrimmage as they average 480.6 YPG while the 'Boys allow 171.3 yards per game rushing. The Flashes are also 8-2 ATS after a loss while Wyoming is 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games favorites although they are 5-1 ATS in their last six bowl games including a win over Central Michigan in the Idaho Potato Bowl in 2017...not this time. Take KENT STATE! |
12-20-21 | Vikings v. Bears +6.5 | Top | 17-9 | Loss | -102 | 13 h 38 m | Show |
Minnesota at Chicago 8:15 ET Bears (+) over Vikings- A pair of NFC Central rivals square off in Soldier Field heading in opposite directions. Minnesota is working toward the playoff and has won 3-of-5 while Chicago is just trying to end the season on a position note but has dropped their last two and 7-of-8. Bears quarterback Justin Fields has struggle as many rookies do at that position and has a QB rating of 69. 3 (not good) and has six TD passes and 10 interceptions. Chicago is fighting COVID and injuries as they had 19 played who did not practice this week but are using the next man up mentality but are staying positive against the Vikings who they have defeated five of the last six time that they have met and are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Minnesota has problems on MNF games going 3-12 ATS in their last 15 prime time games and are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games as favorites. Take CHICAGO! |
12-19-21 | Packers v. Ravens +7 | 31-30 | Win | 100 | 22 h 20 m | Show
Green Bay at Baltimore 4:25 ET Ravens (+) over Packers- Golly, I just hate playing against the non-vaccinated quarterback especially when we can not be sure just who will start for Baltimore. Tyler Huntley who started in the Ravens 16-13 win last week over the Bears has taken almost all snaps in practice this week. Aaron Rodgers just seems to get better as time goes bye and always seems to exploit any of the oppositions weakness and with all their injuries Baltimore has a few. Green Bay is 11-2 ATS this season including 7-1 ATS in their last eight games as favorites. The Ravens are 5-1 ATS in their last six after a SU loss and 16-5-1 ATS in last 22 as underdogs. Take BALTIMORE! |
12-19-21 | Bengals v. Broncos -2.5 | Top | 15-10 | Loss | -119 | 22 h 2 m | Show |
Cincinnati at Denver 4:05 ET Broncos over Bengals- Hey, what's going on here? Cincinnati opened a 3-point favorite and now Denver if favored by a field goal. The winner of this game moves into playoff position while the loser falls outside with three games remaining. The Bengals who have lost their last two at home and QB Joe Burrow didn't practice until later in the week and he said that he's good enough to 'go.' The Broncos vulnerability at quarterback is compensated by their dual running back tandem with Javonte Williams (a beast) and Melvin Gordon. Tough called with the Broncos moving to the favorite but they have the 'mojo' right now. Take DENVER! |
12-18-21 | Marshall +4.5 v. UL-Lafayette | 21-36 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 42 m | Show
New Orleans Bowl- N.O. Louisiana UL-Lafayette vs Marshall 9:15 ET Thundering Herd (+) over Ragin Cajuns- Louisiana is 12-1 has won the Sun Belt Conference Championship game and are playing this in their back yard with this game in New Orleans. Marshall who will leave CUSA for the Sun Belt is 7-5 and is tied at No. 4 with 35 rushing touchdowns. The regular season competition may be stronger in the Sun Belt but the Ragin Cajuns are 2-5 ATS as favorites while Marshall is 6-2 ATS at neutral sites including 7-2 ATS in their last nine bowl games. This should go down the the final gun with the Herd getting the money. Take MARSHALL! |
12-18-21 | Patriots v. Colts -2 | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 28 h 56 m | Show
New England at Indianapolis 8:15 ET Colts (-) over Patriots- I believe that New England's Mac Jones will throw more than three passes this week as the conditions will be perfect in domed Lucas Oil Stadium. The Colts will attempt to run the ball against the No. 3 defense in the NFL allowing just 310 yards per game while Indianapolis is No. 2 running for 152 yards a game lead by the league's top runner Jonathan Taylor who has 1,348 yards and 16 touchdowns. Taylor has run for 100 yards seven times this season and each time the Colts posted a victory. Indy leads the NFL in takeaways with 28 while the Patriots have 26 of their own. The home team is 5-1 ATS in this series and the Colts who didn't play last week are 4-1-1 ATS after a bye week and is 12-4-1 ATS at home against teams teams with winning records. Take INDIANAPOLIS! |
12-18-21 | Oregon State -7 v. Utah State | Top | 13-24 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 3 m | Show |
L.A. Bowl- Sci-Fi Stadium Utah State vs. Oregon State 7:30 ET Beavers (-) over Aggies- Golly, this game and side just jumped off the page when I saw the line in this match-up as Utah State enters winning the MWC Championship 46-13 over San Diego State. Oregon State comes limping in losing 3-of-5 including their last outing against rival Oregon. When you look at the team stats and records the Aggies have the advantage on offense with the defenses just about square. So, why is this line so slanted in the Beavers favor giving a conference champion so many points. This is the first bowl game and winning season for Oregon State since 2013 and this season they are 6-1 ATS against teams with winning records and 8-2 ATS in their last eight game after a loss. Take OREGON STATE! |
12-18-21 | UAB +7 v. BYU | Top | 31-28 | Win | 100 | 22 h 10 m | Show |
Independence Bowl- Shreveport, LA Alabama-Birmingham vs Brigham Young 3:30 ET Blazers (+) over Cougars- It was just a few short years ago (7 years-2015-17 )that UAB dismantled their football program but reinstated it after public outcry. Since their return to actin they have qualified for four bowl games in five seasons. BYU won five games against PAC-12 competition and also had a victory against Virginia but as an Independent they have received little respect. UAB is 4-0 ATS against teams with winning records and 4-1 ATSA as underdogs while BYU is 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and in their last seven Bowl games. Take ALABAMA-BIRMINGHAM! |
12-18-21 | Appalachian State v. Western Kentucky +3 | 38-59 | Win | 100 | 17 h 25 m | Show
Boca Raton Bowl- Boca Raton, Florida Western Kentucky vs Appalachian State 11:00 ET Hilltoppers (+) over over Mountaineers- Western Kentucky was 1-1 and then lost four in-a-row before closing the regular season with seven straight wins before falling to San Antonio in the USA title game. Appalachian State is 10-3 and is looking to win 11 games for the first time in school history after losing in the Sun Belt Championship game to Louisiana 24-16. The Mountaineers are 6-0 all-time in bowl games while the Hilltoppers are 4-3 and App State is 4-1 lifetime against Western Kentucky. The Hilltoppers are No. 2 in the nation averaging 529 YPG and score 43.1 points while the Mountaineers defense is No. 2 in the country with 106 tackles for a loss but are 1-5 ATS against CUSA foes. Take WESTERN KENTUCKY! |
12-17-21 | Coastal Carolina -10.5 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 47-41 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 16 m | Show |
Cure Bowl- Orlando Florida Northern Illinois vs Coastal Carolina 6:00 ET Chanticleers (-) over Huskies- The last time these two clubs played (not against each other) I posted wins with the Huskies in the MAC Championship game over Kent and against Coastal Carolina who won in OT against South Alabama but did not 'cover.' I believe that I have a great 'feel' for this contest where I expect Northern Illinois to fall after defeating the Flashes 41-23 but were out-gained and for the Chanticleers who out-gained USA by 150 yards to reverse their point-spread outcomes. Coastal played their first Bowl ever last season entering Orlando undefeated (11-0) but were defeated by Liberty 37-34 this time around they won't miss. The Huskies are 0-6 ATS in their six bowl games while the Chanticleers are 11-4 ATS in non-conference games. CC averages 40.4 points and surrendered 20 points per contest while UNI allows 33 points a game and 422 yards in the open MAC play. Take COASTAL CAROLINA! |
12-16-21 | Chiefs v. Chargers +3 | Top | 34-28 | Loss | -101 | 13 h 30 m | Show |
L.A. Rams at Arizona 8:15 ET Rams (+) over Cardinals- Before the season started all the media could talk about other than Matt Stafford joining the Rams was the stellar defense that they played. Well, their defense has not lived up to expectations as they aren't even ranked in the top-10, but you know who is...Arizona. The Cardinals have the fourth ranked defense allowing just 319 YPG and have already posted a 37-20 win over the Rams on October 3rd as they gained 465 yards from scrimmage. That win by the birds was their first 'cover' in this series over Los Angeles in their last nine encounter. The road team is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the Rams are 6-0 ATS in their last six visits to Arizona. Take L.A. RAMS! |
12-13-21 | Rams +2.5 v. Cardinals | Top | 30-23 | Win | 100 | 12 h 35 m | Show |
Take L.A. RAMS! |
12-12-21 | Bears +13 v. Packers | 30-45 | Loss | -128 | 28 h 50 m | Show
Chicago at Green Bay 8:20 ET Bears (+) over Packers- Okay, Aaron Rodgers is 22-5 lifetime over the Bears but still has a long way to go to reach Tom Brady's 32-3 record over Buffalo while with the Patriots. HA, after losing five of six Chicago will return to rookie starter QB Justin Fields who returns after hurting his ribs. These two the oldest of NFL rivals are on different ends of the ATS standings as Green bay is 10-2 ATS and the Bears 4-8 ATS on the season. The best thing that I can say to support the Bears is that they have out-gained each of their last four opponents while only winnings against the Lions on Thanksgivings' non-cover victory. This time the get the money...take CHICAGO! |
12-12-21 | Bills +3.5 v. Bucs | Top | 27-33 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 5 m | Show |
Buffalo at Tampa Bay 4:25 ET Bills (+) over Buccaneers- OMG...what has happened to the Bills? No running game, no passing game and no more confidence. New England said to Buffalo it's too windy so we won't pass and you can't stop us...and they didn't. So, now this AFC imposter travels to warn sunny Florida and there stands Tom Brady, yes the same Tom Brady that is 32-3 lifetime over the Bills while playing with New England. But, Buffalo is 8-2-2 ATS as underdogs and 5-1 ATS last six as road dogs. IT'S BUFFALO! |
12-12-21 | Giants +10 v. Chargers | 21-37 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 27 m | Show
New York Giants at L.A. Chargers 4:25 ET Giants (+) over Chargers- This is one of the 'sickest' sides of the season but the worst that it can do is lose but, I don't think so. After all the Giants are 6-6 ATS including 3-3 ATS on the road and more about that later. New York flew directly to Arizona after their loss at Miami and the change of scenery can only help as opposed to staying in New York where the media is killing them. I must say that their back-up Mike Glennon would be a backup for most of these bowl teams as he really does stink. My goodness even as a backup he is terrible. So, never expecting thing to happen twice in a row the Giants bounce back and the Chargers stumble. NY is 19-7 ATS as road underdogs. Take GIANTS! |
12-12-21 | Seahawks v. Texans +9 | 33-13 | Loss | -115 | 20 h 13 m | Show
Seattle at Houston 1:00 ET Texans (+) over Seahawks- Houston is winless at home since their opening week victory over Jacksonville with their only other win at Tennessee. Seattle may have come up with a win last week defeating the Niners (A-Play Megabucks winner) they amassed just 327 yards on offense and have been out-gained by every opponent this season 11 straight time except in their opener at Indianapolis. Seahawks are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games and are 2-11 ATS after a SU win. Texans got shut out last wee and are 9-4 ATS after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. Take HOUSTON! |
12-12-21 | Cowboys -4 v. Washington Football Team | 27-20 | Win | 100 | 20 h 6 m | Show
Dallas at Washington 1:00 ET Cowboys (-) over WFT- I have just heard too much about Washington this week from media tout to professional handicappers that have 'insight.' it is just too much, the 4-Skins defeated Dallas twice last season and the 'Boys happen to be at their best when playing within their division as they are 16-7 ATS in their last 23 games against the NFC East. There is no denying that this is an underdog series with the dog going 29-13 ATS in the last 42 meetings but that's not 100%. The WFT is 5-12 ATS versus the NFC East. Take DALLAS! |
12-11-21 | Navy v. Army -6.5 | Top | 17-13 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 17 m | Show |
Army vs Navy 3:00 ET Black Knights (-) over Midshipman- Always a tough call especially if you are taking the favorite and a favorite of more than a touchdown is asking for trouble. I now the difference in records gives the Army the advantage but they don't play anywhere near the schedule of the Navy. I am a believer is giving the edge to the team tae has taken the harder road but the Midshipman didn't measure up any any level abs they average just 54 yards a game passing. It's not the the Cadets thrown the ball much better but ground game is the 'grunts' strength and these sailors can't compete in a one way game and beat this team. Navy's weakest spot has been at QB and they really haven't found the answer. Take the BLACK KNIGHTS! |
12-09-21 | Steelers v. Vikings -3 | Top | 28-36 | Win | 100 | 12 h 5 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Minnesota 8:15 ET Vikings (-) over Steelers- Neither of these two teams can afford another loss at this time of the season if they expect to make the postseason. Minnesota is now 5-7 after a loss to previously winless Detroit while the 6-5-1 Steelers were fortunate to get by Baltimore 20-19 to stay alive. The Vikings who were missing a pair of defensive stalwarts Patrick Peterson and linebacker Anthony Barr as well as Dalvin Cook and receiver Adam Thielen on offense. Pittsburgh is 0-5 ATS in their last five games after a SU win while the Vikings are 3-8 ATS after a loss and 0-6 in their last six as home favorites. Still, this time out it is...MINNESOTA! |
12-06-21 | Patriots v. Bills -2.5 | 14-10 | Loss | -118 | 12 h 41 m | Show
New England at Buffalo 8:15 ET Bills (-) over Patriots- Truly you have got to respect what the Patriots have done this season. I had predicted that they would have a come-back season but I was mistakenly thinking that Cam (Washed-up Newton) would be the Patriots quarterback. Buffalo jumped out to a quick 4-1 start but have alternated wins and losses since and now trail the Pats by a half-game in the AFC East standings. I think that with all the pre-season hype and their good start the Bills sort of lost their focus and now their attention is on New England. Take BUFFALO! |
12-05-21 | Broncos v. Chiefs -9.5 | 9-22 | Win | 100 | 24 h 8 m | Show
Denver at Kansas City 8:20 ET Chiefs (-) over Broncos- Having had the Broncos Sunday as my Megabucks winner 28-13 over the Chargers I feel that now that the pressure is off they can relax. No, fellows the Chiefs won't allow that and I can't believe the heavy money move on Denver this week. Kansas City has finally found their pace winning their last four and getting the money in their last two against the Cowboys. Take KANSAS CITY! 7 |
12-05-21 | Ravens v. Steelers +4.5 | 19-20 | Win | 100 | 20 h 42 m | Show
Baltimore at Pittsburgh 4:25 ET Steelers (+) over Ravens- If the Steelers don't respond here against Baltimore they are done...and not just for this season but they will have dropped out of the better half completely. This game has nothing to do with stats, who is running what. It's a simple matter with Pittsburgh can cut it or NOT! Now, I realize that it is the Steelers defense that has surrendered 41 points in each of the past two games but they are getting nothing out of their run game only 106 yards on the ground the last two weeks combined and Big Ben can no longer pick up the slack, On well, Custer's Last Stand right here. Take PITTSBURGH! |
12-05-21 | 49ers v. Seahawks +3.5 | Top | 23-30 | Win | 100 | 20 h 2 m | Show |
San Francisco at Seattle 4:25 ET Seahawks (+) over 49ers- Now, hear this the Seahawks have gone under 10 of their 11 games this season and I'm trying to pick them out as a winner...fo the last time. San Francisco comes into Emerald City storming past the Rams, Jags and Vikings last week winners of three straight and looking to knock the Seabirds off their perch for good. Seattle 31st in offense and 32nd (last) in defense come up with a win here for old times sake. Take SEATTLE! |
12-05-21 | Chargers +3 v. Bengals | 41-22 | Win | 100 | 16 h 8 m | Show
L.A. Chargers at Cincinnati 1:00 ET Chargers (+) over Bengals- Having played 'against' the Chargers in each of the past three weeks and going 3-0 ATS I feel especially confident going with them here where they are not expected to win. Cincinnati is coming off their biggest margin of victory win over their nemesis Pittsburgh. This is a battle between the two young bright starts in the NFL at quarterback in LA's Justin Herbert and Cincinnati's Joe Borrow. The Chargers are 21-14 lifetime in the series between the two and the road team is 5-1 ATS in their last six meetings. Take L.A. CHARGERS! |
12-05-21 | Giants +6.5 v. Dolphins | 9-20 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 4 m | Show
New York Giants at Miami 1:00 ET Giants (+) over Dolphins- Although these two teams play ugly and I expect this game to be played the same way 'we' have had success both for and against both sides. The Giants will be without Daniel Jones as veteran journeyman Mike Glennon and most don't expect much of a difference in New York's offensive possessions. Miami has won four straight with Tua Tagovailoa at the helm the past three and has been at 80% completions. The Giants are 23-8 ATS in their last 31 as road underdogs while the Dolphins create a standoff at 12-4 ATS in their last 16 home games. Still, it's NEW YORK GIANTS! |
12-05-21 | Cardinals v. Bears +7.5 | 33-22 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 48 m | Show
Arizona at Chicago 1:00 ET Bears (+) over Cardinals- The decision as to whether or not Kyler Murray will play will be made at game time but there is no doubt who will start for Chicago. Andy Dalton just led the Bears to their first win in six tries on Thanksgiving squeaking by the Lions 16-14 in Detroit. Years ago when the Cardinals were in St. Louis this was a bitter rivalry but not so much now, but back then it was the Red Birds that were the upstarts and the mighty Bear of Chicago the bully. Seems like old time...Bears get the money. Take CHICAGO! |
12-04-21 | USC v. California -4.5 | 14-24 | Win | 100 | 28 h 1 m | Show
Southern California at California 11:00 ET Golden Bears (+) over Trojans- Honestly if ever a team was in position to just go through the motions it is this Southern Cal team. They are in a lame duck coaching situation have won only four of 11 games and are playing on the road in a makeup game after they have played their cross-town rivals. The trojans have no incentive none nothing nada...I don't think that they will come to play and the line shows it...a six-point shift since the opener. Take CALIFORNIA! |
12-04-21 | Houston v. Cincinnati -10 | 20-35 | Win | 100 | 19 h 1 m | Show
Houston at Cincinnati 4:00 ET Bearcats (-) over Cougars- Too much, just too much! No not too much media hype but to much points. Really now just compare the season stats between these two. Other than the one loss Houston numbers are dead even with the Bobcats as they have a better defense by 12 yards and are just nine yards shorter per game on offense. With this 'number' being too much it id driving the action on to the Cougars and maybe Cincinnati is that good and belongs. We might see it here. Take CINCINNATI! |
12-04-21 | Georgia v. Alabama +6.5 | Top | 24-41 | Win | 100 | 24 h 55 m | Show |
Georgia vs Alabama 4:00 ET Crimson (+) Tide over Bulldogs- I knew it was going to happen...that I would end up with Alabama in this game a matchup where they are a virtual touchdown underdog. The Tide have been favorites in 92 consecutive games and that was back on Oct. 3, 2012 and they won that encounter. No one has come close to the Bulldogs except for Clemson in their opener and we thought the Tigers stunk but they showed their pedigree before the year was over. Alabama is game tested having had a few tough battles and a great come from nowhere win over Auburn last week. I have little doubt that Georgia is nt the better team as they are 10-3 ATS as neutral site favorites but the Crimson are 11-3 ATS after an ATS loss and the dogs is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. This one doesn't pass the eye or smell test but I believe they win the game. Take ALABAMA! |
12-04-21 | Utah State +6 v. San Diego State | 46-13 | Win | 100 | 18 h 51 m | Show
Utah State vs San Diego State 3:00 ET Aggies (+) over Aztecs- It's been a huge climb for Utah State from the depths of the Mountain West in one season under first year coach Blake Anderson. San Diego State has been steady all season expect for a blemish against Fresno State and has a chance to win a 12 h game in a single season for the first time in school history. The Aztecs are well balanced averaging 177 yards a game on the ground but just 157 passing. The Aggies air it out and throw for 305 YPG and also run for 155. Take UTAH STATE! |
