The Twins couldn't cover our run line last night, but they sure will tonight. Chicago wins about once every 10 games, and this won't be one of them. Gant will be sitting on a big lead by the 5th inning (maybe earlier). Yes, they are that much better and we don't understand this line, either

The Nationals let us down, yesterday, but that changes tonight, as they will blow out Moore and the Phillies. We love this game and think the Nationals will get to Moore very early and into their bullpen by the 4th inning.

The A's HAVE to win this game to make a point that they are as good as the Yankees, and they are. When Montas is on, he's tough. Cortes, not so much. Take the A's today.

Miami is no slouch, and either is Hernandez. This value is too good to pass up at home where anything can happen. If Miami can get to Corbin early, this could be big payday.

The Mets need to get back on track and what better way than to blow out the Giants. The Giants shut them out yesterday and watch the Mets return the favor today.Cueto witll lose his temper, Walker will remain steady and this was almost our 7-Unit Play. Mets entertain their fans with a blow-out victory.

6-Unit Play: Take 956 MIAMI MARLINS -1.5, RL, OVER NATIONALS (7:10pm E, August 24) WAS: Fedde. MIA: Luzardo

The Marlins are going to have to light it up to make a playoff run and we think Washington is the perfect opponent. Look for them to score early and often and come away with a win, with Luzardo on the mound. Fedde won't make it out of the 5th.

5-Unit Play: Take 958 COLORADO ROCKIES -1.5, RL, OVER D'BACKS (8:40pm E, Friday, August 20) ARI: Gilbert. COL: Gomber

The Rockies are nothing special but, at home, they can beat anyone and Arizona is no one. Look for Gomber to outpitch Gilbert and the Rockies' bats will take care of the rest.

Wacha's better days are over and Giolito's are just beginning. The White Sox are going to play their butts off and they should score early and often tonight. Look for an easy win by LaRussa's team.

Senzatela had a good start his last time out, but the Braves should knock him around like a punching bag. We don't see him making it out of the 4th inning. Braves are a force to be reckoned with and will win this game easily.

The Nationals have shown us nothing lately and Toronto is on a mission. Add that to Manoah on the mound for the Jays and you have what should be a blowout. Toronto is going deep into the playoffs, and this doesn't even look like a good match.

Baltimore played like crap yesterday, but they will walk away from the Pirates today with Means on the mound. Manning is not that impressive, for the Tigers, and we see the Orioles hitting all over the field today. Baltimore is much better than their record

10-Unit Play: Take 904 PITTSBURGH PIRATES OVER CARDINALS (7:05pm E, Wednesday, August 11) STL: Wainwright. PIT: Crowe

The Pirates have proven they're a better team than most give them credit for. The Cardinals are ripe for the taking today. Pittsburgh has seen Wainwright umpteen times, but the Cardinals haven't seen Crow that much. The Pirates lay it to the Cards in Pittsburgh.

4-Unit Play: Take 904 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL, OVER MARLINS (10:10pm E, Monday, August 9) MIA: Thompson. SD: Musgrove

The Padres, at home, can beat anybody and they can beat the Marlins. Musgrove will silence the Marlins' offense, while the Padres do their thing with the bats. They need games like this and we think you'll see them run away from Miami tonight.

5-Unit Play: Take 968 TORONTO -1.5, RL, OVER RED SOX (1:07pm E, Sunday, August 8) BOS: Richards. TOR: Ryu

The Blue Jays are not going to lose this one. They are looking really good as the team that should win this division and we think their best ball is yet to come. Ryu is as good as anyone, on the hill, so look for a blowout win, and a lot of Toronto runs today.

If you didn't think the Dodgers were the best team in baseball before the All Star break, you might think again. They have made some great trades and have spent some money doing it and they walk away from the Angels tonight.

Finally, Atlanta has a game where they can flat blow out the other team. The Nationals are playing terrible baseball, while the Braves keep getting better. They win this one in a runaway today.

The Phillies came to play in this, all so important, weekend series. We think the Mets are the better team, but Philadelphia plays at home with a chip on their shoulder. They win another one today.

If Oakland is going to make a run, they have to win games like this one, especially with Bassitt on the mound. The Rangers play decently at home but look for the A's to run away from them early. This shouldn't be much of a contest for them.

We don't think this game even has to be played. The White Sox will own games like this the rest of the season. Look for Cease and Chicago to blowout the Royals tonight. It shouldn't be close after the 2nd inning.

Anyone who watched the game last night, between Tampa Bay and Boston, knows how well the Rays hit the ball and basically got nothing out of it. It cost us the run line, too. Watch them hit tonight against Seattle.

Unlike the Rays, we think the Yankees will blow Baltimore out of the park tonight. They know not to take them lightly and, in the Division race they're in, they can't afford to. Lopez did not impress us the last time out, but Heaney sure does. Yankees in a rout.

Tampa Bay is playing the Red Sox just like they played the Yankees: as if something big is on the line. It is! They must prove they can beat anyone and so far, they have. Look for another victory from them tonight over the Red Sox.

5-Unit Play: Take 976 SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS -1.5, RL, OVER ASTROS (4:05pm E,  Saturday, July 31) HOU: Greinke. SF: Wood

This is another of San Francisco's chances to show they're for real. We like the pitching matchup and don't be surprised if Greinke is gone by the 5th inning. The Giants continue to surprise and they need to make a statement to Houston. We say they will today!

4-Unit Play: Take 970 BOSTON RED SOX -1.5, RL, OVER RAYS (7:10pm E, Thursday, July 29) TOR: Ryu. BOS: Rodriguez

The Toronto Blue Jays are playing good ball and pulled another out of the hat against the Red Sox last night. That doesn’t sit well in Boston and look for a little revenge from them tonight. Ryu is ripe for a letdown and no team knows how to give those out, more than the Boston Red Sox. They'll win easily tonight.

5-Unit Play: Take 926 BALTIMORE ORIOLES -1.5, RL, (7:05pm E, Wednesday, July 28) MIA: Holloway. BAL: Lopez

The Orioles are playing as well as anyone, at home, and they love playing spoiler. If they hadn't dug themselves such a deep hole, early in the year, they'd be a force to be reckoned with. As it is, teams don't like to play them. Lopez should keep the Marlins off the bases and Baltimore will get to Holloway early.

5-Unit Play: Take 980 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL, OVER A'S (10:10pm E, Tuesday, July 27) OAK: Kaprielian. SD: Paddack

The Padres are, quite likely, the best team in baseball. At home is where they must prove it to stay in the hunt, in the division, though. The Oakland Athletics are big rivals, so they won't need much incentive to score a bunch of runs tonight.

4-Unit Play: Take 958 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5, RL, over Reds (8:05pm E, Tuesday, July 27) CIN: Gutierrez. CUB: Alzolay

The Cubs may be being gutted, but they haven't stopped playing for their fans. They have looked like world beaters, lately, at Wrigley Field and we don't see that changing, tonight, with Alzolay on the mound. Look for a big Cubs win.

5-Unit Play: Take  929 TORONTO BLUE JAYS -1.5, RL over METS (7:10pm E, Saturday, July 24) TOR: Ryu. NYM: Walker

Toronto left their bats in the hotel room yesterday. That's highly unusual. Watch them come alive today, as RYU shuts down New York. Watch them, after yesterday, also get agressive on the base pads.

4-Unit Play: Take 925 WASHINGTON NATIONALS -1.5, RL, OVER ORIOLES (6:35pm E, Saturday, July 24) WAS: Scherzer. BAL: Harvey

Harvey used to be a good pitcher, but the key words in that statement are, ??used to be?? Not anymore and do we have to say anything about Scherzer? A relatively low scoring game, but Washington, with Soto will score enough runs to keep Scherzer in the game a long time.

6-Unit Play: Take 904 PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES -1.5, RL, over Atlanta (6:05pm E, Saturday, July 24) ATL: Smyly. PHI: Velasquez

The Phillies are a heck of a ball club and now that they're hitting, they're going to be a force to be reckoned with. When Velasquez is on, he's as good as anyone and this is one of our top plays of the day.

5-Unit Play: Take 973 OAKLAND A'S -1.5, OVER MARINERS (10:10pm E, Friday, July 23) OAK: Montas. SEA: Kikuchi The Mariners are trying to pull back together thei early season magic, but it's not going to happen against a slugging team like Oakland, especially with Montas on the mound. We like Kikuchi, but he won't be able to keep the Athletics' offense down. Look for Oakland to walk away with this one.

4-Unit Play: Take 967 LA ANGELS -1.5, RL, OVER TWINS (8:10pm E, Friday, July 23) LAA: Cobb. MIN: Happ When Minnesota's Happ was in his prime, we'd have never made this play, but Cobb is a much better pitcher now and the Angels have a better offense. Not only will the Twins get outscored tonight, but they'll get outcoached, too.

4-Unit Play: Take 911 Tampa Bay Rays -1.5, RL, +110 OVER (7:10pm E, Thursday, July 22) TB: Patino. CLE: Quantrill.

The Rays got a win yesterday but let us down on the Run Line. They didn't play well until late, when they had to. We see Patino holding down the Indians and the Rays' bats get started a little earlier today.

5-Unit Play: Take 910 DETROIT TIGERS -1.5, RL, +140 OVER RANGERS (1:10pm E, Thursday, July 22) TEX: Foltynewicz. DET: Alexander

The Detroit Tigers continue to play well, especially at home and we're going to jump on their bandwagon and hope it's not too late. They have a lot of pride and they're a better team than the Rangers, so we see more loud bats and Alexander handling the Rangers, once again.

5-Unit Play: Take 960 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL, +170 (8:15pm E, Wednesday, July 21) CUB: Hendricks. STL: Wainwright

The Cardinals ace against the Cubs’ ace and not a lot needs to be written here. These two teams hate each other and the Cubs won last night in St. Louis. Chicago is gutting their team and The Cardinals are just now starting to come together. They walk away from the Cubs tonight and we collect.

6-Unit Play: Take 964 TAMPA BAY RAYS -1.5, RL, -110 OVER ORIOLES (12:10pm E, Wednesday, July 21) BAL: Wells. TB: Wacha

The Orioles have been totally hit and miss this year and Tampa Bay has realized they’re good. Really good! There’ll be runs scored in this game, but most will by the Rays and the Orioles will fall even farther down in the standings.

4-Unit Play: Take 910 ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS -1.5, RL, +180 OVER PIRATES (9:40pm E, Tuesday, July 20) PIT: Anderson. ARI: Widener

The Pirates outplayed the Diamondbacks, yesterday, but couldn't get over the hump for the victory. Arizona, with newfound confidence, has nothing to play for, but to beat teams like Pittsburgh when they come to town. The D'Backs are not as bad as their record and we think they'll win today.

5-Unit Play: Take 920 DETROIT TIGERS -1.5, RL, +170 OVER RANGERS (7:10pm E, Tuesday, July 20) TEX: Dunning. DET: Skubal

This is one of our favorite plays of the day. We think the Tigers should be favored by much more, especially with Skubal on the mound. Detroit has been beating some damn good teams - they should have no problem with Dunning and the Rangers.

5-Unit Play: Take 962 LA DODGERS -1.5, RL, +170 OVER GIANTS (3:10pm E, Monday, July 19) SF: Gausman. LAD: Gonsolin

The Dodgers never overlook the Giants – they’re bitter rivals, so it comes down to which is the best team and where they are playing. We have Gonsolin and Gausman fairly even, so that points all arrows towards the Los Angeles Dodgers. They win at home and by more than 2. They have to make a statement. 

5-Unit Play: Take 928 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, +165 OVER RED SOX (7:08pm E, Sunday, July 18) BOS: Perez. NYY: Taillon

The Yankees are finding their way and with a win over the Red Sox yesterday, their confidence is back. Aaron Judge is out with Covid Protocol, but we think the Yanks have enough bats and a high enough “pissed value,” to overcome 1 or 2 players out sick. They need to end this series with a bang (bad humor after last night’s Nationals’ game).

5-Unit Play: Take 957 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER Cincinnati (7:05pm E, Saturday, July 17) MIL: Woodruff. CIN: Castillo

Woodruff is pitching out of his mind and, although we think the Cincinnati Reds will make a run for the division, now is not the time for the Big Red Machine. Milwaukee is here to make a statement and Yelich and Woodruff are their loudest voices.

4-Unit Play: Take: 953 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL, OVER NATIONALS (7:05pm E, Saturday, July 17) SD: Snell. WAS: Corbin

The Padres are playing as good a ball as anyone right now – as is evident by their 24-8 win over the Nationals yesterday. 8 runs usually wins in MLB, but nobody expects 24 on the other side. Look for the Padres to keep hitting, but Snell to hold Washington down today. We don’t think the Nats go far in the 2nd half.

4-Unit Play: Take 927 HOUSTON ASTROS -1.5, RL, OVER WHITE SOX (8:10pm E, Friday, July 16) HOU; McCULLERS. CHW: Cease

The final game before the All Star Break, Houston had scored only 3 through 2 games and 8 innings in a 3-game series at home with the Yankees. They scored 6 runs in the bottom of ninth, to win, without making an out. That kind of thing produces so much confidence in a team and Houston will build off that, coming out of the Break.

5-Unit Play: Take 922 TORONTO BLUE JAYS -1.5, RL, OVER RANGERS (7:07pm E, Friday, July 16) TEX: Lyles. TOR: Ray

The Texas Rangers may have been better in the first half than everyone thought they'd be, but the Blue Jays are the real deal, and they really are one of the best teams in baseball. Throw in their ace, Ray and you have very few runs on one side and an explosive offense on the other. Rays should win this one easily in Toronto.

5-Unit Play: Take 901 MIAMI MARLINS -1.5, RL, OVER PHILLIES (4:05pm E, Friday, July 16) MIA: ALCANTARA. PHI: Moore.

Miami has come alive lately, both offensively and defensively and they're going to be a force to be reckoned with, in the 2nd half. They have it all and now they have it all working. They'll surprise the Phillies in Philadelphia today.

5-Unit Play: Take 906 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER REDS (2:10pm E, Sunday, July 11) CIN: Castillo. MIL: Woodruff

If you watched yesterday's game, you have everything you need to jump all over the Brewers today. They flat got screwed by the umps, missed a couple of strike calls mid-game, then gave up a 3-run homer, threw out their manager, threw out their best player, Zelich (who was called out on a play you NEVER see) and heard it from the fans the rest of the game. The umps will lean towards being more fair to the Brewers today and that should let them build a substantial lead and easily cover the -1.5 runs. Our favorite game of the day!

4-Unit Play: Take 962 LA DODGERS -1.5, RL, OVER D'BACKS (10:10pm E, Saturday, July 10) ARI: Smith. LAD: Buehler

Let's see, one of the best teams in baseball against one of the worst - Buehler vs. Smith - what to do, what to do?we're going out on a limb (not really) and taking the Dodgers to stomp the D'Backs today. After this year, they may be called the Arizona Garter Snakes! The Dodgers rarely let games like this get away.

4-Unit Play: Take 975 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, OVER ASTROS (7:15pm E, Saturday, July 10) NYY: Cole. HOU: Greinke

We've said it before: these two teams hate one other and the Yankees like that. It seems every team hates the Yankees, so it's kind of fun for them to be on the other side and with the offense clicking and Cole on the mound. Don't be surprised if Greinke is crying by the 5th inning. Take New York to Yank another one out from under the Astros.

5-Unit Play: Take 960 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER REDS (7:15pm E, Saturday, July 10) CIN: Gutierrez. MIL: Peralta

The Brewers let one slip away last night. You'll rarely see that excellent offense held scoreless. They are red hot with anger and you'll see that today, as they get aggressive on the bases and Peralta shuts down the Reds' O.

6-Unit Play: Take 982 NY METS (2nd Game of DH) -1.5, RL, OVER PIRATES (7:10pm E, Saturday, July 10) PIT: Kranick. NYM: Megill

Again, one of the best teams in baseball against one of the worst. The Mets' offense should own this game - if we had another play, we'd take the over. This is a VERY solid play, especially coming into the All Star break, as every team wants to sweep their last series for positioning, but only a few have a real chance. This is one of them. The Mets should kill the Pirates in this game and if, by a fluke they lose Game 1, you can bump the amount you play on this game, up. We would, but we won't know, until well after this game is released.

4-Unit Play: Take 956 MIAMI MARLINS -1.5, RL, OVER BRAVES (4:10pm E, Saturday, July 10) ATL: FRIED. MIA: ROGERS

We have no clue what the Marlins were doing with their starting pitching yesterday (and other days). They have some kind of hair-brained scheme, where they bring in one guy for the first inning, then maybe another for the second, then their scheduled starter starts the third. Here's why that doesn't work: the first inning is a starting pitcher's most important inning in baseball. The second is the second. Starting pitchers work hard to go scoreless those first two innings. Kind of defeats the purpose when they come in in the 3rd inning and they're already down 2 or 3 runs. If the Marlins do start Rogers today, they should take the Braves and take them handily - they have something to prove.

4-Unit Play: Take 952 SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS -1.5, RL, OVER NATIONALS (4:05pm E, Saturday, July 10) WAS: Lester. SF: DeSclafani

The Giants are just plain hard to beat in San Francisco (actually, anywhere, but definitely on the Bay). Lester has lost his luster and if there is any team that is going to exploit that, it's the Giants. DeSclafani and team will swat away from the Nats today.

4-Unit Play: Take 908 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER REDS (8:10pm E, Friday, July 9) CIN: Miley. MIL: Lauer

Milwaukee showed Cincinnati why they're the division leaders, last night, with a 5-3 win. Their offense is on ?GO,? while the Reds' O is sputtering. Add Matt Lauer to mix, at home and we see another easy victory. Miley, for the Reds, is a good pitcher, but this offense and this team know how to play against division foes at home and as bad as the Reds need this game, they won't get it. The Brewers LOVE to make statements. This is one of them!

10-Unit Play: Take 926 MINNESOTA TWINS -1.5, RL OVER TIGERS (8:10pm E, Friday, July 9) DET: Manning. MIN: Maeda The Tigers have the ability to play over their heads sometimes, but the Twins and Maeda won't let that happen tonight. They know if they want to get back in the race, which they are good enough to do so, they need to win games like this (against Manning and his 7.94 ERA and a dismal 6 strikeouts) and even better, win as many of these types of series, as they can. Twins should score early and often in this one and Maeda should keep the Tigers' bats quiet.

4-Unit Play: Take 960 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER REDS (8:10pm E, Thursday, July 8)

The Brewers are happy to be back home where they'll let the Reds know where they stand. The Reds, for as good of an offense as they have, have not been scoring that many runs. That works with teams like KC, but it won't work in Milwaukee. The Brewers make a statement today and win this one, easily.

4-Unit Play: Take 960 ARIZONA D'BACKS -1.5, RL, OVER ROCKIES (9:40pm E, Tuesday, July 6) COL: Gray. ARI: Kelly

Arizona has a lousy record, but so does Colorado and we really like the way Kelly pitches, when he starts. Arizona still has pride and they DEFINITELY want to win home games against the crappy teams. They should walk away with this one.

4-Unit Play: Take 975 BOSTON RED SOX -1.5, RL, OVER ANGELS (9:38pm E, Tuesday, July 6) BOS: Eovaldi. LAA: Ohtani

The Red Sox: a team with some of the best numbers in the bigs and NO TEAM has a problem getting up for Ohtani. Teams have had his number, lately and we think the Red Sox will too. We really like Ohtani, but not in this position - Boston has too much firepower for him and we see Eovaldi shutting down the Angels. Take the Red Sox in a blowout.

4-Unit Play: Take 910 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5, RL, OVER PHILLIES (8:05pm E, Monday, July 5) PHI: Moore. CUB: Davies

The Cubs played better than their results against the Reds. Two of those games could have easily gone their way. They're not great this year (some even say with the Darvish trade, that they've begun rebuilding), but they're better than their record. Things should start going their way, now that they're back in the friendly confines of Wrigley. The Phillies had a TOUGH weekend against the Padres and it showed up yesterday. Look for much the same today.

4-Unit Play: Take 976 LA ANGELS -1.5, RL, OVER ORIOLES (4:07pm E, Sunday, July 4) BAL: Eshelman. LAA: Sandoval

The Angels are playing all around good baseball. When their bats are hot, they don't need great defense, but yesterday was fairly close game and they put on a fielding clinic. The Orioles have played better than they are lately and still lost. The same will happen today, as Sandoval keeps them in check.

4-Unit Play: Take 958 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, OVER CUBS (1:10pm E, Sunday, July 4) CUB: Hendricks. CIN: Miley

The Reds have left a plethora of men on base, in this series, and we think that comes to an end today. They're hitting the ball well, but just can't bring 'em around. They will today, as they play a mix of small ball and slugging and leave the Cubs wondering what happened this week.

4-UNIT PLAY: Take 966 TORONTO -1.5, RL, OVER RAYS (1:07pm E, Sunday, July 4) TB: Yarbrough. TOR: Ray

If you've watched any of the games in Toronto, lately, then you know how small the park is and that the ball is carrying. Toronto is hitting and slugging as well as any team in the bigs and we expect them to lay it on heavy, again, today. Ray gives the Rays all they want from the hill.

5-Unit Play: Take 928 SEATTLE MARINERS -1.5, RL, OVER RANGERS (10:10pm E, Saturday, July 3) TEX: Lyles. SEA: Gonzales

The Rangers have been playing better than they are lately, but we don't see that tonight. Seattle and Gonzales should bring Texas back down to earth and, though he's good, we see the Mariners getting to Lyles early.

6-Unit Play: Take 924 OAKLAND A'S -1.5, RL, OVER BOSTON (7:15pm E, Saturday, July 3) BOS: Richards. OAK: Irvin

Oakland is fuming over their loss to Boston yesterday. They have the team, this year, that can handle those east coast teams, like the Red Sox, Yankees, etc. They are a great hitting and slugging team, and they need to win this series badly. It starts tonight when they run away from Boston and Richards.

4-UNIT PLAY: Take 901 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL, OVER PHILLIES (4:05pm E, Saturday, July 3) SD: Darvish. PHI: Eflin

The Phillies closers killed our run line play last night. The bullpen is terrible, and it'll be what keeps them out of the playoffs, unless they figure it out quickly. We don't think they'll use their closers today, as we see the Padres offense in hyper mode and Davish keeping the Phils off the bases.

5-Unit Play: Take 975 BOSTON RED SOX -1.5, RL, OVER OAKLAND A'S (9:40pm E, Friday, July 2) BOS: Rodriguez. OAK: Montas.

It's just like the Red Sox to go into hostile territory and come out smelling like a rose. But that's what should happen, this first game of the series and, after scoring 15 runs last night, we know they're hitting the ball well and should have Oakland looking to tomorrow's game early,in this one.

5-Unit Play: Take 955 LA DODGERS -1.5, OVER NATIONALS (7:05pm E, Friday, July 2) LAD: Urias. WAS: Scherzer

We love the Nationals and how they're playing this year, but Urias and the Dodgers should bring them to their senses. The Dodgers don't have a hole in their lineup and they love to hit off pitchers like Scherzer. Watch them take this one rather easily tonight.

4-Unit Play: Take 952 PHILADELPHI PHILLIES -1.5, RL, OVER PADRES (6:05pm E, Friday, July 2) SD: Paddack. PHI: Wheeler

Philadelphia is a tough place to play, especially when the Phillies are waiting to ambush a team that thinks pretty highly of themselves. The Phillies have been waiting for San Diego, though you probably won't see a sweep of the series, you should see a comfortable win tonight. Take the Phils!

5-Unit Play: Take 908 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, OVER PADRES (7:10pm E, Thursday, July 1) SD: Weathers. CIN: Castillo

The Reds need to prove something before San Diego leaves town: that their offense is just as good or better than the Padres. Look for a high scoring game in the Small American Ballpark.

4-Unit Play: Take 966 TORONTO BLUE JAYS -1.5, RL, over Seattle (7:07pm E, Wednesday, June 30) SEA: Sheffield. TOR: Matz

The Toronto Blue Jays are on fire and especially at home. Once again, look for Guerro to have a couple of extra base hits and maybe a homer. Matz should hold Seattle down the fairly weak Mariners' offense and Sheffield may be gone by the 5th inning.

6-Unit Play: Take 952 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL, OVER D'BACKS (1:15pm E, Wednesday, June 30) ARI: Smith. STL: Kim.

Cardinals should just crush the Diamondbacks at home today. St. Louis is another team that seems to win games that they should win. This is one of those games and Kim is one of the best pitchers in baseball. This shouldn't be close.

4-Unit Play: Take 960 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL. OVER DIAMONDBACKS (8:15pm E, Monday, June 28) ARI: Farla. STL: LeBlanc

Wow, it makes you almost feel sorry for Arizona, the way they've let this season go. Almost, unless we can take advantage of it, and we will tonight in St. Louis. The Cardinals almost never miss the chance for a gimee win and tonight shouldn't be much different. They should crush the D'backs.

5-Unit Play: Take 966 CLEVELAND INDIANS -1.5, RL, OVER TIGERS (7:10pm E, Monday, June 28) DET: Manning. CLE: Morgan

We almost feel traitors, taking the Indians after winning big with the Tigers a couple of times this weekend, but that's the nature of our game. Morgan will outpitch Manning and the Indians will perform for the hometown crowd.

4-Unit Play:  Take 964 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, OVER ANGELS (7:05 E, Monday, June 28) LAA: Bundy. NYY: King

The Yankees are coming off a sweep by their sworn enemy and leader of the division, Boston Red Sox. How do you think they feel? Yep! And they're going to take it out on the Los Angeles Angels tonight. Look for the Yanks to come alive!

5-Unit Play: Take 958 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, OVER BRAVES (4:10pm E, Saturday, June 26) CIN: Castillo. ATL: Anderson

We don't see this game even being close. The Reds don't lose much at home and they HATED losing to the Braves yesterday. Look for the Reds bats to be loud and Castillo will shut down that Braves lineup. Take the Reds and watch Anderson leave before the 5th inning.

5-Unit Play: Take 972 TEXAS RANGERS -1.5, RL, OVER ROYALS (4:05pm E, Saturday, June 26) KC: Zimmer TEX: Gibson

We LOVE the way the Texas Rangers have been playing both with bats and gloves. They've looked like a major league team, the last couple of days. We see the same today with Gibson on the mound. Rangers take another, easily.

4-Unit Play: Take 914 San Diego Padres -1.5, RL, OVER DIAMONDBACKS (10:10pm E, Friday, June 25) ARI: Martin. SD: Paddack

Don't think the Padres haven't been looking forward to a team they can really beat up on. Arizona had an 18-game losing streak for a reason: they're terrible. San Diego will cruise with this win.

5-Unit Play: Take 930 CHICAGO WHITE SOX -1.5, RL OVER MARINERS (8:10pm E, Friday, June 25) SEA: Kikuchi. CHW: Rodon

This should be an absolute runaway. White Sox at home with Rodon on the mound? Kikuchi is good, but Chicago can hit anybody. This should be a blowout and it should start early. White Sox are one of the best teams in the league.

5-Unit Play: Take 926 TEXAS RANGERS -1.5, RL, OVER ROYALS (8:05pm E. Friday, June 25) KC: Minor. TEX: Dunning.

Well, Texas let us down yesterday, but they got down 3 runs in the first and catch up. Today will be a different story. Their bats will get hot and Dunning will keep the Royals at bay. We'll win this one! Again, though, we're not going to be on Texas a whole lot this year.

6-Unit Play: Take 970 MINNESOTA TWINS -1.5, RL, OVER CLEVELAND (4:07pm E, Thursday, June 24th) MIN: Berrios. CLE: Mejia.

Minnesota at home against a beat-up Cleveland Indians team (they'll be calling up AA players, soon). Minnesota, as we've said many times, can put up runs with anyone. They won't need that many tonight, but they'll get 'em.

4-Unit Play: Take 951 WASHINGTON NATIONALS -1.5, RL, +145 OVER MARLINS (1:10pm E, Thursday, June 24th) WAS: ROSS. MIA: POTEET

Washington is just too much for the Marlins. Excellent pitching, great hitting, and big slugging. They can do it all and they don't have to be ?On? to do it. They should have no problems with Miami today.

5-Unit Play: Take 965 HOUSTON ASTROS -1.5, RL, OVER TIGERS (7:10pm E, Thursday, June 24th) HOU: Garcia. DET: Urena

This should be an easy one. The Astros are finally playing like the playoff team that they are and just hitting almost everything hard. On the other side, the Tigers are dealing with a plethora of injuries, including Cabrera. That's about all you need to know to play this. Go Stros!

5-Unit Play: Take 960 NY YANKEES -1.5, -110 OVER ROYALS (1:05pm, E, Thursday, June 24th) KC: Keller. NYY: Taillon

The Yankees have been put to the test by the Royals this week, but we see that coming to an end today. Taillon should easily outpitch Keller and it's time for the Yankees bats to come alive. Take the Yanks!

4-Unit Play: Take 912 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, OVER ROYALS (6:05pm E, Tuesday, June 23nd) KC: Duffy. NYY: King

It's hard to win two days in a row in Yankee Stadium, especially when you're the Royals. Kansas City's pitcher, Duffy has been injured, so we don't expect him to throw a ton of pitches today and the Yankees bullpen is more rested than the Royal's. Look for the Yankees to avenge!

5-Unit Play: Take 914 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5 RL OVER INDIANS (8:05pm E, Monday, June 21st) CLE: Civale. CUB: Alzolay.

The Cubs are back to playing good ball and the Indians are so beat up, they can hardly field a team. Look for Alzolay and the Cubs to put it to the Indians today and defend home field.

6-Units: Take 902 WASHINGTON NATIONALS -1.5, RL. +180 Over METS (Game 1) (1:05pm E, Saturday, June 19th) NYM: Peterson. WAS: Ross

This was our first loss of a 7-Unit Play, yesterday and we just couldn't get that second run. Everytime we got two men on base, they turned two and got out of the inning. Today we will win and with Ross on the mound against Peterson, look for a lopsided score today in this first game of a doubleheader.

4-Unit Play: Take 910 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, Over REDS (8:40pm E, Thursday, June 17th) CIN: Miley. SD: Musgrove The San Diego Padres are just aching to get back in form and at home, with Musgrove on the mound, is where it will happen. Cincinnati just can't score runs and the Padres will explode. This won't be a good start to the series for the Reds. Padres could really explode in this one.

5-Unit Play: Take 906 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, Over STL CARDINALS (7:20pm E, Thursday, June 17th) STL: GANT. ATL: Morton. This is a series we've been waiting for and definitely this game. Gant doesn't have the stuff to keep the Atlanta bats quiet, and the Cardinals don't have the bats to make any noise against Charlie Morton. Morton will settle Atlanta down and Gant will be out by the 5th inning. If the odds weren't so high (-190), we'd take the Braves in the first 5 innings too. Have fun with this one.

4-Unit Play: Take 912 CLEVELAND INDIANS -1.5, RL, Over ORIOLES (1:10pm E, Thursday, June 17th) BAL: Lopez. CLE: Morgan This is one of those games that looks too good to be true, but we like all the matchups and these two teams are not friends. Look for Lopez to do something stupid early, to cause a raucus, the Indians will take over from there. We like their bats against Lopez, anyway. This should be a walk in the park, well, except for the Indians circling the wagons and all that stuff. Take it from there...

5-Unit Play: Take 980 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, +130 Over RED SOX (7:20pm E, Wednesday, June 16th) ATL: Anderson. BOS: Richards We've talked a lot about the Braves this year and their not going to lose very many back-to-back games at home. Boston is overrated and Atlanta is underrated. The Braves will come back tonight with fire in their eyes, play aggressively, and blow out Boston.

4-Unit Play: Take 955 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL,-140 Over ROCKIES (3:10pm E, Wednesday, June 16th) SD: Snell. COL: Freeland The Rockies have absolutely nothing this year. You get a hitting and slugging team like the Padres and put them in the thin air of Denver, double digit runs are in play. Take the Padres to win this one going away, especially with Snell on the mound.

4-Unit Play: Take 951 MIAMI MARLINS -1.5, RL, + 145 Over CARDINALS (1:15am E) Wednesday, June 16th) MIA: Alcantara. STL: Oviedo The Marlins are in a 3-game losing streak and that ends today with Alcantara and his 3.28 ERA on the hill against Oviedo's 5.78 ERA. Look for Alcantara to have all of his stuff today and the Cardinals will be in single digits in hits.

4-Unit Play: Take 927 MINNESOTA TWINS -1.5, RL, Over MARINERS (10:10pm E, Tuesday, June 15th: MIN: Happ. SEA: Flexen

We've said it many times, but the Mariners came out of the box showing more than they really have. They're a good team, but they're definitely not a great team and the Twins will handle them tonight. Happ's ERA of 5.75 is deceiving as is Flexen's 4.68 (for different reasons). The wind is blowing out at about 9 mph and we like the Minnesota sluggers to take advantage of that. It may be a different story tomorrow night, but the Twins take this one.

4-Unit Play: Take 905 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, Over BREWERS ( 8:10pm E, Tuesday, June 15th) CIN: Castillo. MIL: Anderson

We've been talking about Cincinnati's offense all year long and proved it yesterday with a 10-2 win and they'll prove it today, with Castillo on the mound. Castillo had a fantastic outing, the last time on the hill and we think his confidence is back where it should be and he'll shut down the Brewers tonight.

4-Unit Play: Take 924 CHICAGO WHITE SOX -1.5, RL, Over Tampa Bay (8:10pm E, Tuesday, June 15th) TB: McClanahan. CHW: Keuchel

We don't care who they're playing, the White Sox are a very good team and after losing last night at home 5-2, we don't see it tonight, especially with Keuchel on the mound. He will shut down the Rays' offense, while the Chicago bats will get noisy tonight. LaRussa will have something up his sleeve and he won't lose two nights in a row at home.

5-Unit Play: Take 930 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, Over RED SOX (7:20pm E, Tuesday, June 15th) BOS: Rodriguez. ATL: Davidson.

Well, the proof is in the pitching with Eduardo Rodriguez carrying a whopping 6.03 ERA against Tucker Davidson's 1.53. It doesn't end there, though. As we've said all year, Atlanta has energy, power, and speed up and down the lineup and Boston doesn't. Take the Braves to score early and often and run away with this one.

5-Unit Play: Take 958 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL, Over Miami (8:15pm E, Monday, June 14th) MIA: Garrett. STL: Wainwright.

The Cardinals were embarrassed last night and they'll take it out on the Marlins. Adam Wainwright is the perfect go-to guy when they need a win. Their bats were quiet last night, and when they did liven up, it was right at somebody. They'll play excellent fundamental baseball tonight and hit it hard against Garret. It'll be high-scoring and it may be all Cards.
