08-16-19 | Padres v. Phillies -120 | 4-8 | Win | 100 | 8 h 45 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Philadelphia Phillies (Velasquez Listed) The Phillies looking to be making a move and benefitting lately from the late inning heroics of Bryce Harper. The Phils have won three straight and have a very manageable schedule at home where they do their best work. Big edge on the mound tonight for the homies with Velasquez (2.78 ERA, L5 starts) who has also handled the Friars (2-0, 0.00, 17 IP) easily in two starts this season. The Padres are playing out the string and hopefully building towards next year. Lay it. |
08-15-19 | Cardinals v. Reds -152 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 19 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Reds (Sonny Gray listed) Sonny Gray can pitch and he's found a home in the Queen City where the pressure of outside forces are minimal. He's 4-1 with a 1.05 ERA in his L8 starts and his bad starts have been few and far between. The Cards are as counterfeit as they come and much like the Cubs in that they for the most part take care of business at home and put up token resistance on the road. Michael Wacha is 12-1 in 17 LT starts against the Reds but don't be fooled here, he's 0-2 with a 7.71 ERA which is far more representative of his full body of work. |
08-14-19 | Pirates v. Angels -120 | 4-7 | Win | 100 | 9 h 53 m | Show
DMack's Weds MLB Bail Out is on the Angels (Peters Listed) Last week we talked about playing bad teams that make sense and just having to hold your nose. That would be the case here as the 2-8 L10 Pirates take on the 2-10 L12 Halos. Chris Archer has been a major disappointment since getting a change of scenery last year. The Angels have folded but tonight's starter, Peters, has generally been effective but whose numbers are skewed by getting roughed up in his last outing …. an untenable position where he was put in cold when the Angel starter that night was unable to get an out or throw a strike. Los Angeles will generally give you a 100% effort and the spot works at a fair price. |
08-14-19 | Rays +103 v. Padres | 2-7 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 34 m | Show
DMack's Weds Matinee Mauler is on the Tampa Bay Rays (Beeks Listed) The Rays are a marvel in modern sports. They have the lowest payroll in baseball and their average cost "per win" is the best in the MLB. They are 20 games above .500 with 25 players from the witness protection program and they do it by feasting on teams like the Padres. This will be a bullpen game for the Rays who will throw Beeks as an opener and then finish by committee on a situational basis. The Rays have won five straight including the first two games in this series and should do some damage against Quantrill who has pretty good numbers but is just 3-7 in his 10 starts. Pick 'em ??? Gimme the Rays. |
08-12-19 | Red Sox v. Indians UNDER 10.5 | 5-6 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 34 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the BoSox/Tribe Under 10.5 (Rodriguez/Plesac Listed) Eduardo Rodriguez has kept Boston alive for any hope of reaching the preseason. He's 5-1 with a 2.73 ERA in his L7 starts and the basically .500 BoSox are 17-6 in his starts. More importantly for our purposes, the under is 18-5 in his 23 starts. Plesac has the bloodlines and is just another of the Indians good young arms. He's 4-0 with a 2.76 ERA in his L4 and the Tribe is a 7-2 lowball in their L9 home games. Hoping the starters have long leashes and can go as a long as they can as runs figure to be tough to come by never mind 10 1/2. Play the Under. |
08-11-19 | A's v. White Sox UNDER 9 | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 3 h 47 m | Show
DMack's Sunday MLB Play of the Day is on the A's/WSox Under (Bassitt/Giolotto Listed) Bassitt has been very good since joining the mothership. He's 2-1 with a 2.79 ERA in his L5 starts and Oakland is a 9-2-1 lowball in its L12 games overall. Giolito looked like a lock to win AL ROY after the first two months of the season. He's come back to the pack a bit but his numbers are still decent and the Pale Hose are a team 11 games under .500 overall but 14-5 in his starts. More importantly for our purposes, the WSox are 7-1 to the under in their L8 home games, not hitting much, and the pen has been decent. Play the under. |
08-10-19 | Pirates v. Cardinals -163 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 11 m | Show
DMack Subscriber Bonus Play is on the St Louis Cardinal (Wainwright Listed) |
08-10-19 | Cubs v. Reds UNDER 8.5 | 1-10 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 7 m | Show
DMack's MLB Total of the Week is on the Cubs/Reds Under The Cubs and the Reds share one thing in common in that they both do their best work at home. The Blue Bears have won 6 of 8 overall and 6 of 8 on the road but for our purposes here, the ChiCubs haven't been hitting much as evidenced by their 10-5 run to the under. Both starters are razor sharp and will go as long as they can go. Kyle Hendricks is 1-1 with a 1.72 ERA in his L5 starts for the guests and Sonny Gray (3-1, 1.97 L7) has found a home in the Queen City where the lights are not so bright. Game opened at 9 where it stayed a heartbeat but still rock solid at 8 and a hook. |
08-09-19 | Pirates v. Cardinals -137 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 11 h 31 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the St Louis Cardinals (Hudson listed) At this time of the year in the MLB, sometimes you just need to hold your nose and pull the trigger. That's what we'll be doing tonight in this battle of fading NL Central clubs. The Pirates are 4-21 since the All-Star Break and the downward spiral seems nowhere in site. The Cardinals are 2-8 L10 and have just about played themselves out of the division and a wildcard spot. Dakota Hudson is 0-2 with an ERA of 10+ in his last couple but he has had (2-0, 3.12, 6 starts) some success against the Bucs and has generally done his best work at home. Drop from opener to current price makes this extremely playable. |
08-08-19 | Indians -103 v. Twins | 7-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 38 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Cleveland Indians (Clevinger Listed) The Tribe is just two games back of the Twins in the AL Central and can really send a statement with a big weekend at Target Field. Mike Clevinger has been nails (4-0, 2.07) in his last four starts and is particularly effective if he can get out of the first three innings without damage and settle into a rhythm Nothing bad to say about the Twins and Gibson (15-7 in his starts) but Minnesota has lost two straight and have not looked like the killers they were earlier in the year in August. Prefer the hunters at small price. |
08-07-19 | White Sox -117 v. Tigers | 8-1 | Win | 100 | 1 h 25 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the WSox (Nova Listed) Ivan Nova is a useful veteran who is in top form at the moment, rocking a 1.80 ERA in his L3 starts. People forget that he was a top prospect in the Yankee organization for many year but just not able to completely pull the trigger during his opportunities with the Bombers. Both teams playing out the string with not much more to say other than after last night's DH split with the Pale Hose, the Tigers are just 4-23 in their L17 home games. Take the WSox. |
08-06-19 | Braves v. Twins -143 | 12-7 | Loss | -143 | 8 h 36 m | Show
DMack's Tuesday MLB Play of the Day is on the Minnesota Twins (Berrios Listed) The Braves Mike Foltynewicz is back in the bigs after being sent down. He was 5-1 in AAA but there for a reason as his ERA was 6.86 in his L4 starts for the big club. The Braves are treading water at 6-5 over their L11, waiting for someone in the NL East to make a run. The Twins are back in sync winning 7 of 8 overall and are 6-2 L8 at Target Field. This team CAN mash !!! With Berrios being 2-0 and rocking a 1.37 ERA over his L3 starts, the Twinkies are an easy call here. |
08-05-19 | Braves v. Twins UNDER 10 | 3-5 | Win | 102 | 9 h 42 m | Show
DMack Monday MLB Subscriber Bonus Play is on the Braves/Twins Under |
08-05-19 | A's v. Cubs UNDER 9.5 | 5-6 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 44 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the A's/Cubs Under (Bassit/Hendricks Under) Runs figure to be tough to come by today at Wrigley Field. Chris Bisset gets the nod for Oakland and he's 2-1 with a 2.74 ERA in his last four starts, the low in 4-1 in his L5. The A's are 6-0-1 to the under in their L7 games. The Cubs have been money at home of late and the low is 6-3 in their L9 games overall. We catch Kyle Hendricks is his yearly form spree and he's 1-1 with a 1.44 ERA in his L4 and his runs generally go for a while. The under is 15-4-1 in his 20 starts in 2019. Barring a Category 5 storm blowing out (in which case just pass), this one has 3-1, 4-2, 3-2 written all over it. Play the UNDER. |
08-04-19 | Nationals -153 v. Diamondbacks | 5-7 | Loss | -153 | 5 h 45 m | Show
DMack Subscriber Bonus Play is on the Washington Nationals |
08-04-19 | Brewers v. Cubs -138 | 2-7 | Win | 100 | 3 h 10 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Cubs (Darvish listed) Two teams headed in opposite directions. The Brewers have lost five of six and will be holding their breath when they send Adrian Houser (0-4, 6.75, L7) to the mound to stop the bleeding. Yu Darvish finally got his run of no-decisions stopped and is getting good (2.25) at just the right time and has been very hard on the Brewers (2.02) in his three starts this year. The Cubs are 10-2 in their L12 at the "Friendly Confines" and just can't be ignored at just 35 cents. |
08-04-19 | Mets v. Pirates UNDER 8.5 | 13-2 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 16 m | Show
DMack's Sunday MLB Top Total is on the Mets/Pirates Under (Syndergaard/Musgrove listed) Syndergaard survived the trade deadline and now he's pitching for a contract as the Mets continue to role. "Thor" is rocking a 2.54 ERA in his last four starts and also charts a 1.77 ERA in three starts against Pittsburgh. The under is 13-7-1 in his 21 starts. Musgrove have been average at best but he's faced the Mets twice and is 1-1 with a 0.96 ERA. Sunday getaway games have a habit of being played with alacrity and runs figure to be tough to come by here, especially if the pens do not get overly involved. |

08-03-19 | Mets -118 v. Pirates | 7-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 24 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the NY Mets (Stroman Listed) Marcus Stroman makes his NY Met debut after his surprise trade from the Jays. He's left Toronto pitching his best baseball of the year (2-2, 2.10 L5) and is THRILLED to be a Met as he's a local. A good run the final two months and he could get a long-term deal if this is where he wants to be. Mets saw seven-game win streak snapped last night when Steven Matz folded like a cheap suit with a 3-0 lead. The Pirates are still 4-16 in their L20 and last night's win was anything but a "Buy" sign. Take the visitor. |
08-03-19 | Brewers v. Cubs -130 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 4 h 4 m | Show
DMack's Matinee Mauler is on the Chicago Cubs (Hamels listed) Cole Hamels returns for his first start since June 28, just in time for the Blue Bear stretch run. He was 2-1 with a 1.50 ERA in his L5 before getting hurt and if he is anything close to that, should be good here where he is 8-3 with a 3.32 ERA in 17 LT starts vs. the Brew Crew. The Cubs are 9-2 in their L11 home games and can do some real damage here to the Brewers who have lost four of five and don't figure to get much from Geo Gonzalez who has fallen on tough times with a 5.40 ERA in his L3, all no decisions. Raise the W at Wrigley. |
08-02-19 | Mets -110 v. Pirates | 4-8 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 26 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the NY Mets (Matz Listed) The hottest team in baseball is now the NY Mets who are finally putting things all together at the right time and now find themselves just five games out of a wildcard with a very outside shot of getting back in the NL East. Steven Matz rocks a 1.89 RA over his last three and is razor sharp. Trevor Williams (6.75 L3) has done nothing of late, much like his mates that have lost 16 of 19 overall. Price is nice for us and the notion that the Mets are a fade/pass on the road is no longer an option. Mets win their eighth straight here. |
08-02-19 | Red Sox +129 v. Yankees | 2-4 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 16 m | Show
DMack's Friday MLB Dog Bite is on the Red Sox (Rodriguez Listed) The BoSox are just a week removed from hammering Yank pitching in their last series. They inexplicably followed that up by getting swept by the Rays at home which has left the champs on the outside looking in. Eduardo Rodriguez (5-0, 2.03) has been Beantown's best and will look to right the ship here. Paxton (7.50 L3) is better at home but that is not saying much of late. Catching 30 cents with a proven commodity in a desperate spot looks to be the profitable way to go. |
08-01-19 | Mets -180 v. White Sox | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 2 h 27 m | Show
DMack's Thursday Matinee Mauler is on the Mets (Wheeler Listed) This is clearly a story of two teams headed in opposite directions. The Mets have won seven of eight while the Pale Hose are skidding at 1-8 in their L9. Zach Wheeler's numbers are not all that impressive but he'll give you a chance to win and the team is 10-10 in his starts. Dylan Cease is 0-3 with an 8.85 ERA and his prospects aren't lookin up against a mashing Met lineup. The price is excessive but the all checks fall on the side of the road team. The run-line would mitigate damage and is still most definitely in play. |
07-31-19 | Cubs v. Cardinals UNDER 8 | 2-0 | Win | 103 | 11 h 37 m | Show
DMack's MLB Total of the Day is on the Cubs/Cards Under (Hendricks/Mikolas Listed) This game opened with a hook that is already long gone and it's easy to see why. Kyle Hendricks is 0-1 with a 2.00 ERA over his L3 starts so we know he hasn't received much support …. he is 2-0 with a 0.56 ERA in his starts against the Red Birds this year. MIkolas is a home specialist who rocks a very respectable 2.57 ERA over his last three and the under is 12-6-3 in 2019 when he toes the rubber. The Cubs are 4-1 low in their L5 while the Cards are 9-2 to the South in their L11 home games. Play the under. |
07-31-19 | Dodgers v. Rockies UNDER 12 | 5-1 | Win | 100 | 5 h 8 m | Show
DMack Wednesday MLB Bonus Total is on the Dodgers/Rockies Under (Ryu/Marquez Listed) Ryu is having a Max Scherzer type year and rocks a 1.35 ERA over his last four starts. His number against Colorado this year is not impressive, his year-long body of work speaks for itself. German Marquez has been the best to toe the rubber for Colorado this year and he's had career long success against the Bums with a 2.87 ERA in nine LT starts. To go over these types of totals, you pretty much need both teams contributing to the heavy lifting. That won't happen here.

07-29-19 | Blue Jays v. Royals -125 | 7-3 | Loss | -125 | 9 h 49 m | Show
DMack's Monday MLB Play of the Day is on the Kansas City Royals (Keller Listed) Both teams have thrown in the towel and are playing out the string and the Jays have already started to sell off. Toronto's Tommy Panone has not gotten anyone out and rocks a 12.50 ERA over his last four starts. Brad Keller is 3-0 with a 2.00 ERA over his last four starts and the Royals always seem to give you an effort despite their many deficiencies. At home and just a 25 cent favorite makes the Royals the best choice off Monday's abbreviated card. |
07-28-19 | Giants -106 v. Padres | 7-6 | Win | 100 | 5 h 48 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Giants (Bumgarner listed) While every situation is fluid, especially over the next three days, the Giants will reportedly stand pat rather than sell as a reward for their recent excellent play. They hit a bump in the road last night but this game will be big with MadBum making what could be final start as a Giant. He's 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA over his L6 starts but deserved better. Thinking that Giants will be laser focused here versus the light hitting Padres in arguably the biggest game of the season and backing the heart and sole of the franchise for most of the last decade. |
07-28-19 | Diamondbacks -140 v. Marlins | 1-5 | Loss | -140 | 2 h 58 m | Show
DMack's Matinee Massacre is on the Arizona DBacks (Ray Listed) The Snakes are one of many teams that need to make decisions to buy and sell with just 72 hours left in the new "hard" trade deadline. Robbie Ray would draw the most interest of the available DBacks and he's 4-0 with a 3.32 ERA in his L4 starts. The Marlins are 5-8 in their L13 and just grinding their way to the end. They play hard to their credit but don't have much and also have X's on their backs by teams that have to beat teams life this to stay in their respective division and wildcard spots. Like the price too. |
07-27-19 | Pirates v. Mets -130 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show
DMack Saturday MLB Bonus Best Bet is on the NY Mets (Matz Listed) Steven Matz has not been much (4.50 L4) but .... he faces a freefalling Pittsburgh Pirate outfit here that is stuck in reverse. In fact, the Bucs are 2-12 L14 and Trevor Williams has been part of the problem including getting hammered in his last after being staked to a big lead. The Mets are 8-4 L12, the lineup is mashing, and Mr. Met is always better at Citi Field as opposed to the MLB highway. Very good spot for home team. |
07-27-19 | Braves -116 v. Phillies | 15-7 | Win | 100 | 8 h 3 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Atlanta Braves (Fried Listed) The Braves are in a 3-6 vapor lock but in a perfect spot to put down the chasing Phillies. Max Fried doesn't have breathtaking numbers but the Bravos just seem to win (13-6) when he toes the rubber. The Phils Eflin has been throwing (0-3, 9.47) chuck-and-duck in his last four starts and Philly is just 7-12 this year when he gets the call. The price is very reasonable and possibly a bargain if the Braves strike early. |
07-26-19 | Giants +133 v. Padres | 2-1 | Win | 133 | 14 h 50 m | Show
DMack's Friday Night MLB Dog Bite is on the San Francisco Giants (Samardzija Listed) Jeff Semardzija is arguably going through one of the best form sprees of his career. The former Notre Damer is 3-1 with a 2.70 ERA in his L4 and easily handled the Padres two weeks ago. The white hot Giants are 6-0 in their L6 series openers. Joey Lucchesi hasn't been much in his last five starts with a ERA a tick south of six. The Padres are just 2-5 in their L7 and haven't show any "Buy" signs in cooling off the white hot Giants. Nothing wrong with an extra 30 cents either. |
07-26-19 | Indians v. Royals UNDER 9.5 | 8-3 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
DMack's Friday MLB Power Total is on the Indians/Royals Under (Plesac/Junis Listed) Two hot teams meet tonight with the 10-2 L12 Tribe taking on the 9-4 L13 Royals. The numbers for the starting pitchers are somewhat dicey but the Royals Joe Junis has been a lights out 2-0 (1.35) and having seen all three of these outings, he passes the eye test as razor sharp. The Under is 4-1 in the Royals L5 games and the Under is 5-1 L6 for the Tribe. If current team form holds, hard to see how the could ever get close to 9 and a hook. |
07-24-19 | Yankees -115 v. Twins | 10-7 | Win | 100 | 8 h 5 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the NY Yankees (Happ Listed) Last night's Bombers/Twin matchup was sure to be an instant classic for everyone involved except the pitchers. It finally ended 14-12 (Bombers) in extra time on an amazing catch by outfielder Aaron Hicks. Both teams will be scrambling here in regards to pitcher availability so expect Happ and Odorizzi to go as long as they can assuming that they have anything at all. At the end of the day, must respect Yankee depth and history (Bombers 97-38 in series since 2003) over Minnesota and at -15 cents, the opportunity will not offer itself very often from here on out. |

07-23-19 | Cubs v. Giants +105 | 4-5 | Win | 105 | 10 h 2 m | Show
DMack's MLB Side of the Day is on the Giants (Bumgarner Listed) The Giants are now 16-3 L19 after last night's 5-4 two in the eighth victory over the Cubs. Bumgarner has been razor sharp in what was supposed to be his audition but the San Francisco is in an excellent wildcard position and a Bochy miracle is definitely not out of the question. Darvish hasn't allowed a run in his L12 innings work and the Blue Bears are on the road and at a distinct disadvantage in the pen. Won't stand in front of the raging home dog Giants here. |
07-23-19 | Padres v. Mets UNDER 8.5 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 48 m | Show
DMack's Tuesday MLB Total of the Day is on the Under (Paddack/Vargas Listed) "The Sheriff", Chris Paddack, has found his early season form and has won his last three starts while rocking a 0.93 ERA. The Friars are 10-5-1 low in his 16 starts and San Diego has been 7-3 the under in it's L10 road tilts. Jason Vargas is a hit or miss type that pitches better at Citi Field. The Mets are 8-5-3 to the under in his 16 starts and are 5-1 lowballs in their L6. Playing the under here while the hook is still available. |
07-21-19 | Brewers v. Diamondbacks UNDER 9 | 7-4 | Loss | -126 | 4 h 19 m | Show
DMack's MLB Total of the Month is on the Brewers/DBacks Under (Woodruff/Young Listed) Two razor sharp starters and a favorable number are featured here. Brandon Woodruff is 3-1 with a 1.98 ERA over his L4 starts. Milwaukee is 12-7 low in his 19 starts. Alex Young is 3-0 with a 1.08 ERA in his three starts and yet to be nicked at all. Getaway day games are generally low scoring and played quickly and barring a total meltdown by the pens, runs figure to be tough to come by. Play the Under. |
07-21-19 | Marlins v. Dodgers UNDER 8.5 | 0-9 | Loss | -105 | 4 h 5 m | Show
DMack's Sunday MLB Bonus Total is on the Under (Yamamoto/Buehler Listed) Yamamoto is 4-0 with a 2.38 ERA for the Fish and is yet to be beat up by anyone in his brief stint in the bigs. Walker Buehler rocks a 7.71 ERA in his last three but is severely skewed by a bad outing in his last start. Prior, his ERA was sub-1.00 in his last eight. Miami has scored less runs than any team in baseball by a long way so, on the road and light hitting, the Marlins could be the perfect remedy. If Yamamoto and C0. do their part, this one should be easy. Go low. |
07-20-19 | Nationals +151 v. Braves | 5-3 | Win | 151 | 7 h 14 m | Show
DMack's Saturday Night MLB Dog Bite is on the Washington Nationals (Sanchez Listed) The Nats have gone 14-5 in their L19 to go from seller at the deadline to a team that could run down the Braves late wit their superior pitching. Anabel "Dirty" Sanchez has been a revelation going 5-0 in his L7 starts and is 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA in two starts against the Braves this year. Nothing bad to say about the Braves and they have in fact won Soroka's L7 starts. That said, the Nats have already given up a bad one already in the series and know that every H2H with Atlanta from here on out is critical. The extra 50 cents is impossible to pass up. |
07-20-19 | Padres v. Cubs -143 | 5-6 | Win | 100 | 2 h 22 m | Show
DMack Subscriber Best Bet is on the Cubs (Quintana Listed) |
07-18-19 | Mets v. Giants +100 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 13 h 5 m | Show
DMack's Graveyard Bailout is on the Giants (Bumgarner Listed) The Giants have won five-in-a-row and eight of their last nine and should be energized by what might very well be Madison Bumgarner's final home start. MadBum had a huge hand the Giant's championships in the early part of the decade. He's in good form and will have loads of support in what could be his final home start before being moved at the trade deadline. Syndergaard is another that could be on the move and while the Met lineup has been mashing, this is one of the worst road teams in the MLB. Giants pick is a bargain. |

07-18-19 | Dodgers -107 v. Phillies | 6-7 | Loss | -107 | 4 h 3 m | Show
DMack's Thursday Matinee Mauler is on the Dodgers (Stripling/Nola Listed) The Dodgers rebounded from Tuesday's horrific 9-8 loss to the Phils by spanking Philadelphia 7-2 last night behind Maeda. The Bums have ripped home pitching for 31 runs in the first three games of the series and should continue their hot bats against the hit or miss Aaron Nola. Philly is just 6-9 in it's L15 and it's at least another 30 days before Bryce Harper dons his Superman outfit. The price is juicy too! |
07-17-19 | Rays v. Yankees -147 | Top | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 11 h 44 m | Show |
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Yankees (German Listed) This has been a great series featuring two teams that don't especially care for each other and the long ball. Chrinos has been decent but unlucky as the the team is 6-7 in his starts but 6-2 L8 overall. German has been a revelation when he has been able to go. He's 2-0 with a 0.75 ERA in his last two starts and the Bronx 11-3 in his 14 starts. The Yanks are also 12-3 in their L15 games at Yankee Stadiium and the offense just has sooooooooo many weapons. Lay it with the home team. |
07-16-19 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Phillies | 8-9 | Loss | -121 | 13 h 14 m | Show
DMack's MLB Run-Line Game of the Week is on the Dodgers (Buehler Listed) Walker Buehler has had more than a day off and should be ready to roll with a big second half. The Dodgers are 12-5 in his starts and abused Phillie pitching last night. The homies send Vince Velasquez to the mound and he hasn't been getting anyone out with his 7.03 ERA over his L6 starts. Phils just 5-8 L13 and would appear to be up against it here as reflected by 2-dollar-dog price at home. Laying the run and half mitigated damage and increases profit when you pick your spots. This is one of those spots. |
07-15-19 | White Sox -115 v. Royals | Top | 2-5 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 52 m | Show |
DMack's Monday MLB Play of the Day is on the Chicago WSox (Giolito Listed) The White Sox and Giolito have seemingly hot the wall after an overachieving first half. Giolito looked to be a rookie phenom but rocks a 5.52 ERA in his L3 BUT ... the Royals might just be the cure as he is 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA in four starts against Kansas City this year. The Pale Hose are 12-5 in his 17 starts. The Royals have been doing the splits but unloaded Homer Bailey over the weekend and a full blown fire sale figures to be right around the corner as KC integrates their kids into the lineup. Price on the Sox is definitely right. |
07-14-19 | Braves -128 v. Padres | Top | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 9 h 0 m | Show |
DMack's Sunday MLB Play of the Day is on the Atlanta Braves (Soroka/Quantrill Listed) Mike Soroka doesn't have the numbers but he sure does have the results. He's 4-0 with a 4.43 ERA in his L7 starts and and the Bravos are 12-3 in his 15 2019 starts. Hotlanta is 6-1 L7 as things are going very well at the moment. Cal Quantrill has been nothing special and rocks a 5.65 ERA in his L3 starts. all no decisions. San Diego is just 2-5 in his seen starts and would much rather lay the quarter with the hot hand. |
07-14-19 | Nationals +101 v. Phillies | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 47 m | Show
DMack's Matinee Mauler is on the Washington Nats (Sanchez/Arrieta Listed) The Nats are rolling are 12-2 L14 but will have to tighten their belts somewhat with Max Scherzer on his way to the IL for a short time. Anabel Sanchez is 4-0 with a respectable 3.00 ERA in his L5 starts and a crafty veteran in his own right. The Phils are just 4-7 in their L11 and even with the addition of Bryce Harper, this team shows very little in the way of guts. They folded like a cheap suit down the stretch last year and showing indications of the same this year. Take the road team at a pick. |
07-13-19 | Nationals v. Phillies UNDER 8.5 | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show
DMack's MLB Total of the Week is on the Nats/Phils Under (Corbin/Nola Listed) We used this matchup last night and had an easy winner with the Nats and Strasberg. Here we find two pitchers that probably did not want to see the ASB as Patrick Corbin rocked a 0.96 ERA in four starts headed into the mini-break with Aaron Nola almost as good at 1.21 in his L4 before Cleveland. Pitching generally holds up for a couple of days as we saw in several instances on Friday and based on prior form, should hold up well here. Play the Under. |
07-13-19 | Giants v. Brewers UNDER 9 | 4-5 | Push | 0 | 7 h 56 m | Show
DMack's Saturday MLB Bonus Total is on the Giants/Brewers Under (Bumgarner/Davies Listed) MadBum probably has two more auditions before he is moved by the July 31st hard trade deadline (August 31st waiver deals are not eligible for playoffs this year) so expect at minimum, a very focused effort. The Bum was 2-0 with a 2.40 ERA in his L3 prior to the break so he is rested and off solid form. Zack Davies has been a killer in his last two outings allowing just one earned but pitching just 10 innings that makes one take pause. He rocks a 2.81 ERA in three LT starts against the light hitting Giants and that should hold up here. Play the under. |
07-13-19 | Diamondbacks v. Cardinals -132 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show
DMack's Saturday MLB Bonus Play is on the St Louis Cardinals (Hudson Listed) If the disappointing Cardinals are going to make a stand, they better do it immediately after the break. The manager is on the hot seat an this is a franchise with a long time history of not make any head turning deals at the trade deadline. Dakota Hudson has been the Red Birds best starter and he was 1-0 with a 1.86 ERA in his L3 home starts and St Louis was 11-6 in his 17 starts overall. The Snakes are much better at home than on the road and face a tough customer here. |
07-12-19 | Nationals -138 v. Phillies | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 6 h 17 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Washington Nationals (Strasburg Listed) Don't look now but ... after a horrendous start, the Washington Nats have gone from sellers at the trade deadline to full blown contenders in the NL East. Washington was on a 10-2 run heading into the break and figure to keep the train rolling here with Strasburg who is 3-0 with a 3.05 ERA in his last three starts and is 5-0 with a 2.30 LT ERA vs. the Phillies. Philadelphia has been treading water all year and their starter here is 0-2 with a 7.78 ERA in his L4 starts and 1-6 with a 10.80 ERA in 8 starts (11 appearances) against the Nats. Lay it. |
07-07-19 | Cardinals v. Giants OVER 8 | Top | 0-1 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 39 m | Show |
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Cardinals/Giants OVER 8 (Flaherty/Samardzija Listed) St Louis has been able to hang around primarily thanks to their bats and will start the second half right in the middle of the Central log jam. Jack Flaherty hasn't gotten many people out (7.92, L5 starts) and has not had much success against the Giants, rocking an 11.37 ERA in his last two starts. Jeff Samardzija is a favorite go against (2-2, 6.00 L4) and the Giants are 8-2 to the over in their L10. Add the mix the Cards 7-3-1 over run their L11 road games and we have a solid form argument to play the high against this very reasonable number. |
07-06-19 | Phillies +133 v. Mets | 5-6 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 35 m | Show
DMack's Saturday MLB Dog Bite is on the Philadelphia Phillies (Arrieta/Syndergaard Listed) Couldn't possibly lay close to 50 cents with the Mets under any circumstances except if they were to bring back Nolan Ryan to throw a 235 pitch complete game. The home team has lost 9 of 11 and granted they are home, Syndergaard will at best give you six innings before turning it over to the worst pen in the MLB. How bad ??? The Met pen has thrown 49 innings of "relief" for Jacob deGrom and allowed 51 runs. Mostly a fade of the Mets but the Phillies and Arrieta have shown some signs of life for a possible second half run. Grab the dog. |
07-06-19 | Indians v. Reds UNDER 9 | 7-2 | Push | 0 | 6 h 48 m | Show
DMack's MLB Total of the Week is on the Indians/Reds Under (Bieber/Desclafani Listed) Shane Bieber has been nails for the Tribe and rocks a 2.33 ERA over his L4 starts. The under is 11-4-2 in his 17 starts and is razor sharp at the moment. Desclafani is 3-1 with a 3.38 ERA in his L4 starts and the under is 16-4 in his 20 starts. The Reds have been in the top three of most pitching metrics since the first pitch of the season. The number opened 9.5 for a heart beat before settling on 9 so the superior pitching and the excessive number has not escaped the attention of early sharp money. |
07-05-19 | A's -138 v. Mariners | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 14 h 1 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Oakland A's (Anderson Listed) The A''s are 12-4 in their L16 games and taking a lot of momentum into the ASB as they play for a wildcard spot in September. Brett Anderson doesn't have great numbers but is a grinder that keeps you in games and Oakland is 12-5 in his starts. The Mariners will be in sell mode when we come back from the break as this team needs to be blown up after 13-2 start. M's have lost 6 of 7 and their starter tonight is 0-1 with a 6.73 ERA in three starts against the A's this year. E'nuff said. |
07-05-19 | Yankees -117 v. Rays | 8-4 | Win | 100 | 11 h 41 m | Show
DMack's Friday MLB Bonus Play is on the Yankees (Tanaka Listed) Masahiro Tanaka has been awful, especially in his last start in London where he was staked to a 6-0 first inning lead and left 6-6 after getting two outs against the Red Sox. the remedy might be the Rays as Tanaka is 2-0 with a razor sharp 0.56 ERA against the Floridians. The Bombers are just a horrific matchup for the fundamentally excellent and max effort Rays and Tampa just can't trade with the guests here. Any type off game from Tanaka here and it's light's out for the homies. |
07-04-19 | Yankees -112 v. Rays | 8-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 21 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day for Friday is on th eNY Yankees (Happ Listed) Happ has his moments and could just might have a big start against the AL East second place Rays. The Bronx has won 14 of 16 really really mashing. The Rays are 5-2 L7 but face a team with unrivaled death ??? These bullpen games are coming back to bite the Rays somewhat and they went through a lot of their pen last night. In the end, it's the Bombers relentless lineup that mashes top to bottom that will prevail. |
07-04-19 | Twins -132 v. A's | 2-7 | Loss | -132 | 6 h 39 m | Show
DMack's Thursday Bonus MLB Release is on the Minnesota Twins (Berrios Listed) |
07-02-19 | Twins -111 v. A's | 6-8 | Loss | -111 | 10 h 11 m | Show
Mack Attack Tuesday Bonus Best Bet in the Minnesota Twins -114 (Odorizzi Listed) Jake Odorizzi has been touched up a bit in his last couple of starts (6.46 ERA) but his 2019 body of work says that the Twinkies are 12-4 in his 16 starts. Dan Mengden is 2-1 with a 3.99 ERA six appearances but is difficult to judge as he's been coming in after an opener is recent games. Oakland is home and likely in better form but this this is a good spot to get Odorizzi back on track and for the Twins to regain some focus heading into the much needed rest of the All Star Break. |
07-02-19 | Yankees -140 v. Mets | 2-4 | Loss | -140 | 7 h 25 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the NY Yankees -141 (Paxton Listed) The Bombers are 13-1 in their L14 games and are really mashing at the moment. Not the best of spots off the trip to London but the team is loaded and they face a struggling Mets team that has lost 7 of 8 and whose bullpen is a dumpster fire waiting to happen. Queens has also lost five straight home series openers and have never fared well in this "subway" series, 20+ games in the hole since it's inception. Paxton and travel makes a -180 game -140. Take the Bronx. |
07-01-19 | Giants v. Padres -155 | 13-2 | Loss | -155 | 11 h 22 m | Show
DMack's Monday MLB Play of the Day is on the San Diego Padres (Allen Listed) I often wonder how good Jeff Samardizija would have been had he played wide out in the NFL. He was a tall Calvin Johnson type at Notre Dame with amazing hands. He made the right choice as he's now 34 and made 108 million dollars throwing a baseball but he's 73-99 lifetime with a 4.19 ERA. He's 1-3 with a 7.17 ERA in his four starts and has never been a mystery to San Diego. The Friars send Logan Allen to the mound where he's 2-0 with a 1.38 ERA in his first two starts as a pro. San Diego has won five of its last six home games and is 8-0 in its last eight home series openers. 55 cents looks about right and figures to head North throughout the day so get in early. |
06-30-19 | Rangers v. Rays UNDER 8 | 2-6 | Push | 0 | 1 h 28 m | Show
DMack's Sunday MLB Total of the Week is on the Rangers/Rays Under 8 (Chavez/Snell Listed) Sunday getaway games are generally played with alacrity and that should be the case here in a game where runs should be tough to come by. Jesse Chavez has been great for the Rangers in his various roles and starts here with a 0.69 ERA over his his L5 starts though they've lasted just 13 total innings. He's face the Rays nine times (1 start) with a 2.79 ERA so he works here. Blake Snell has been hammered recently but Texas might just be the remedy as he's 2-0 with a 0.79 ERA in his two starts against the Rangers. Despite their big bats, Texas is 7-2 to the under in their L9. The Rays have played three straight unders including the first two games in this series. Play the under. |
06-29-19 | Dodgers -145 v. Rockies | 3-5 | Loss | -145 | 8 h 7 m | Show
DMack Saturday MLB Bonus Play is on the Dodgers -146 (Kershaw listed) Clayton Kershaw has not been Clayton Kershaw razor sharp but nobody has a golden horseshoe in a place where the sun don't shine like Clayton Kershaw. The Dodger lefty is 2-0 with a 3.32 ERA in his L3 and the Bums are 20-2 in his L22 starts, 11-2 this year. The Dodgers are 8-3 in their L11 despite a Metesque bullpen and they've beaten the Rockies in 12 of the L13 meetings. All things considered and at 45 cents ... I'll bite! |
06-29-19 | Braves v. Mets OVER 10 | 5-4 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 9 m | Show
DMack's MLB Total of the Week is on the Braves/Mets Over 10 (Teheran/Matz) I rarely if ever play double-digit totals OVER but this actually seems to be the best play off the Saturday board. Julio Teheran has been shelled in his last two starts to the tune of a 14.63 ERA. The OVER is 14-3 in the Bravos L17 games overall. Steven Matz has also been throwing chuck and duck as he rocks a 9.60 ERA in his L3 starts and will open the door to the infamous Met bullpen when Mickey Callaway sees enough. The OVER is 12-3 in the Mets L15 games. The 9.5 is pretty much out of play at this point but still shop. |
06-28-19 | Diamondbacks -105 v. Giants | 3-6 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 20 m | Show
DMack Attack Friday MLB Super Best Bet is on the DBacks -105 (Kelly Listed) The Giants are simply playing out the string at this point and count on them to be major sellers at the trade deadline. It's kind of sad that this is the Bruce Bochy farewell tour as he deserves so much more. The Dodgers are already out of reach so the DBacks are basically playing for a wildcard. Merrill Kelly is the best the Snakes have to offer after Zach Greinke and he's been a rock with 3-1 credentials and a 2.62 ERA in his L5 starts. He's 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA in two starts against the Giants this year. Take the Snake. |
06-28-19 | Cubs -109 v. Reds | 3-6 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 44 m | Show
DMack's Friday MLB Play of the Day is on the Chicago Cubs -108 (Hamels Listed) After a solid four week period at the end of May and beginning of June, the Reds have come apart and look to be a fade for the immediate future. Cincinnati has lost four straight and their once excellent pitching has become pedestrian and the lineup has never hit much. The Cubs are treading water but showing "buy" signs and send out a razor sharp (2-0, 1.24 ERA, L4) Cole Hamels who is 11-1, 1.91, in 17 career starts against the home team. At basically a pick, this one is a no-brainer. |
06-27-19 | Braves v. Cubs -105 | 7-9 | Win | 100 | 3 h 45 m | Show
DMack's Thursday MLB Play of the Day is on the Chicago Cubs (Wilson/Chatwood Listed) In this meeting between two division leaders, the Braves send out Bryse Wilson who was touched up for four runs and getting just 10 outs in his only start back on March 30th. This is likely a spot start and we'll see the Braves pen most of the way. The Cubs counter with Tyler Chatwood (2.70 L2 starts) who has been good when healthy which has not been often. This year looks like a repeat of last year for the Cubs who are 5-8 in their L13 yet still lead the NL Central by a game. The bats have shown some life recently and the Northsiders are starting to show some "Buy" signs that a run of some kind in imminent. This would be a great place to get some going in the the final game of the home stand with a very favorable nine-game quickie roadie to Cincinnati, Pitt, and back to the WSox on deck. Cubs get the money. |
06-26-19 | Rays v. Twins +106 | 4-6 | Win | 106 | 8 h 49 m | Show
DMack's Wednesday MLB Play of the Day in on the Minnesota Twins (Odorizzi Listed) The Rays are a great story every year and do more with less than any other team. Sadly, that can only carry you so far and as we approach the half way mark of the season. Tampa Bay has apparently hit the wall losing six of eight and the dip is starting to look more and more to be long term. Charlie Morton has been good but been the beneficiary of big support and the ex-Pirate/Astro rocks an ERA of almost 5.00 against the Twinkies. Jake Odirizzi faces his ex-mates and has had an All-Star quality first half while going 4-1 with a 2.96 ERA over his last five. Minnesota has split last 10 but is 11-4 in his starts and tonight we find him as a home dog. Take it! |
06-25-19 | Dodgers -111 v. Diamondbacks | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 35 m | Show
DMack's Tuesday MLB Super Best Bet is on the Dodgers (Stripling/Ray Listed) The Dodgers get another live arm back Ross Stripling makes his first start since April 25th. He had a 2.65 ERA in his early starts before getting hurt and has never really had a lot of success in his 21 LT starts vs. the Snakes but the Bums are off a bad loss last night where Kershaw didn't have much and the pen was it's usual dumpster fire so looking for a top effort regardless from a team that is on pace for 108 wins and heads and shoulders above the rest of the National League. You'll rarely find this price in this spot. |
06-25-19 | Nationals -1.5 v. Marlins | 6-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 34 m | Show
DMack's Run-Line Game of the Week is on the Washington Nationals It's tough to ignore Max Scherzer when he is in this kind of a zone. He's had All-Star type numbers all year but has been sucked under by the early Nats swoon. He's 4-0 with a 0.93 ERA over his last four starts and is finally getting support. As you would expect, he's 12-4 LT vs. the Marlins with a 3.21 RA in 21 career starts. Trevor Richards has been doing his part for the Fish (2.43 ERA, L5) but has been the beneficiary of just one run of support in his last three starts. The Nats are scoring runs so barring a bad outing by Scherzer, this run line is very doable. Take the Nats -1 1/2. |
06-24-19 | Braves +123 v. Cubs | 3-8 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
DMack's Monday MLB Play of the Day is on the Atlanta Braves +124 (Teheran/Lester Listed) There is not much to separate these two potential National League playoff opponents except maybe the form of the starters which clearly favors the Underdog Braves. Atlanta is not a juggernaut by any means but is 5-2 in its L7 and that's what the Bravos do. Julio Teheran has been a better pitcher on the road since Brovos opened their new digs and he's 1-0 with a 1.57 ERA in his L5 starts with suitcase. Further, he's 3-1 in nine LT starts against the Blue Bears and figures to get support tonight as Jon Lester (5.68 ERA L4) has been toeing the rubber and keeping his fingers crossed for a team that is just 4-6 L10. Take the Braves and make the extra quarter. |
06-23-19 | Astros v. Yankees +118 | 9-4 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 35 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the NY Yankees +119 (Happ Listed) Streaks can go on for quite a while and it's best to stand in the the way of either here. The Astros have lost seven straight and not getting much offense with their multitude of injuries. The Bronx has won eight straight with their next man up lineups and are starting to get everyone healthy for a big post ASG run. Happ, much like James Paxson, has been tons better at "The Stadium" than on the road and figures to get support here against Verlander who has been victimized in recent starts by the home run, not a good recipe of success against the Bronx Bombers. |
06-23-19 | Marlins v. Phillies UNDER 9 | 6-4 | Loss | -101 | 3 h 53 m | Show
DMack's MLB Total of the Day is the Marlins/Phillies Under (Yamamoto/De Los Santos Listed) The Marlins Jordan Yamamoto has made it look easy to this point going 2-0 and not allowing an earned run in 14 innings over his two starts. It's nice to know that he hasn't been coddled and likely to go deep into the game if he's effective. De Los Santos started to games in September last year and rocks 3-3 (3.28) badge in his eight AAA starts. The Fish are are 5-1 under in their L6 while Philly is not hitting much in their current 1-8 L9 funk so runs figure to be tough to come by here. Play the under. |
06-22-19 | Braves v. Nationals -113 | 13-9 | Loss | -113 | 7 h 56 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Washington Nationals Don't look now but after a horrific start, the Nats are 18-7 in their L25 and back in the thick of a wide open NL East. A veritable lock to be sellers at the trade deadline, the Nats have caught fire at the right time and can do some damage against division rivals which is so important. Anibal Sanchez is 3-0 with a 1.54 ERA over his last four starts and will be dealing here behind a lineup that is mashing. Foltynewicz is nothing special and his form is pedestrain at best at 4.50 over his L5 starts. Nats get the money here and the price is definitely right. |

06-21-19 | Astros v. Yankees -155 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 54 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Yankees (Paxton Listed) The Yankees continue to roll despite their plethora of injuries through the first half and have to be odds on to win the AL East in a walk as they start to get healthy and likely to add another premium arm. The Astros have lost five straight and are just not hitting. The Bombers have won six straight and send out James Paxton whose overall numbers are pedestrian but whose number at Yankee Stadium have been mostly dominant. Two streaks continue here as Yankees win. |
06-20-19 | Mets v. Cubs -146 | 4-7 | Win | 100 | 8 h 15 m | Show
DMack's MLB PLay of the Day is on the Cubs (Chatwood Listed) After a big effort on Tuesday by Jacob deGrom, the Mets were back to their old ways in getting spanked 7-2 by the Braves and the previously ice cold Max Fried. New York is now 5-18 in its L23 road games and they'll have a tough assignment tonight in facing the Blue Bears. Tyler Chatwood has been good the last two years when (and that's a big when) he's been able to stay healthy. He threw six scoreless at Arizona in his 2019 debut and looks to follow that up with a similar appearance here tonight. He gets it. Take the Cubs. |

06-19-19 | White Sox +139 v. Cubs | 3-7 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 18 m | Show
DMack's Wednesday MLB Super Dog is on the Chicago WSox (Giolito/Lester Listed) The WSox went with their young players early, took their lumps, and are now starting to play decent ball. Giolito is 8-0 while rocking a 0.94 ERA in his L8 and has been the best pitcher in baseball. The WSox are 6-3 L9 and strangely enough, have dominated this Northside/Southside series since it's inception. Jon Lester (8.59 ERA L5) has been struggling just like the Blue Bears (2-6 L8) and this doesn't look like a very good spot to get healthy. Take the WSox. |

06-18-19 | Brewers v. Padres OVER 8 | 1-4 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 54 m | Show
DMack Tuesday Subscriber Bonus Play is on the Brewers/Padres Over The Brewers have won Woodruff's last nine starts but his ERA is 6.00+ in his last three and reason to be concerned against a Friar outfit that is mashing at the moment. The home team sends out Logan Allen to make his MLB debut which in itself would call for a win bet in the blind but with his 4-3 record and 5.85 ERA in 13 AAA starts, this seems to be a start of necessity as opposed to a start of promotion. EIGHT looks to be VERY doable here. |

06-18-19 | Rockies v. Diamondbacks -135 | 8-1 | Loss | -135 | 11 h 35 m | Show
DMack Tuesday Subscriber Bonus Play is on the Arizona DBacks The Rockies continue to struggle on the road (2-5 L7) and have not hit much outside the rarified air of Coors Field. Antonio Senzatella is basically a placeholder for the Rocks who face a rejuvenated Snake team that has won 8 of 11 and send out the razor sharp Merrill Kelly (3-0, 0.81, L3) to toe the rubber. Both teams sit three games above .500 but have already been distanced by Dodgers in the West so basically a H2H for possible wildcard spot in these division meetings. DBacks with a big edge here at a very reasonable price. |

06-18-19 | Mets v. Braves +111 | Top | 10-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 35 m | Show |
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Atlanta Braves Jacob deGrom or not, I'll take a team that that has won 9 of 10 (home and + money) and sending out a pitcher with an ERA of 1.35 over his last five starts over a team that is 4-17 in their L21 road games and just 4-10 in games that deGrom has started. The Met pen was hammered again last night and even when deGrom is at his best, he rarely goes more than six innings. The Bravos are getting fat on teams like the Mets as well they should. Atlanta easily here. |

06-17-19 | Mets v. Braves -152 | Top | 3-12 | Win | 100 | 6 h 28 m | Show |
DMack's MLB PLay of the Day is on the Atlanta Braves (Soroka Listed) The Braves have won eight of nine and seem to have a golden horseshoe at the moment. Many of these wins have come in improbable fashion but at the end of the day, it all looks like 8-1 on your winning ticket. Mike Soroka is 7-0 with a 2.48 ERA over his L10 starts, long enough to say that this 21-year-old from Calgary is not counterfeit. Mets have been mashing at Citi Field but they are 4-16 in their L20 outside of Queens and their pen is a dumpster fire waiting to happen. 50 cents seems about right. |

06-14-19 | Phillies +127 v. Braves | Top | 8-9 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
DMack's MLB Game of the Week is on the Phillies +127 (Pivetta Listed) REALLY like this one because it is one of the few times of late where we are actually getting the best of the number and the matchup in spades. Nock Pivetta has been rock solid for the Phillies, he's 3-0 with a 2.52 ERA in his last four starts and has always had success against the Braves in his brief career going 4-1 with a 3.21 ERA in nine starts. Max Fried (6.89 L3 starts) has been getting hammered of late with the Bravos just 4-9 in his 13 starts. True, the Braves have won six straight but at least three of those were by acts of God and extremely confident that we'll get the money at a sweet price here. |

06-13-19 | Tigers -121 v. Royals | 3-7 | Loss | -121 | 8 h 32 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is in on the Detroit Tigers (Boyd Listed) Both teams are terrible, the Tigers 3-7 in their L10, the Royals 2-9 in their L11. Kansas City is home but Detroit has a huge edge on the mound with Matt Boyd who has found his form (1-0, 2.25, L4 starts) after a slow start. Homer Bailey is 0-3 with an 8.55 ERA over his L5 starts and his record of futility precedes him. Motown has the better guy toeing the rubber and the mashing Tiger bats should certainly enjoy seeing Homer Bailey. |

06-12-19 | Brewers v. Astros UNDER 7.5 | 6-3 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 20 m | Show
DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Brewers/Astros Under 7.5 (Woodruff/Verlander Listed) Two razor sharp starters in play in this one. The Brewers have won four of five and eight straight Woodruff starts, 5-0 (3.38) over that time. Justin Verlander is tied for the lead in wins in the American League and would have more if not for the inconsistent Strohs pen. Expect the crafty righty to cool of the red-hot Milwaukee bats (2-0, 1.08 L2 vs. Brew Crew) and keep this under the number. |
06-11-19 | Padres v. Giants OVER 8 | 5-6 | Win | 100 | 9 h 10 m | Show
DMack Tuesday MLB Totals Bonus Play is on the Padres/Giants Over (Paddack/Beede Listed) "The Sheriff", Chris Paddack (9.64) has gotten hammered over his last couple of starts. He pitched well against the Giants in his MLB debut but things are always different the second time around once they've seen you. The good news for the Padres is that Tyler Beede has been worse for the Giants, 10.13 ERA in his L3 starts. On face, this looks to be a good old fashioned chuck and duck ... play the OVER. |
06-11-19 | Cardinals v. Marlins UNDER 8 | 7-1 | Push | 0 | 7 h 38 m | Show
Mack Attack MLB Total of the Day is on the Cards/Marlins Under (Hudson/Hernandez listed) Hudson has pitched great for the Redbirds and has been one of the few bright spots. He's currently on a 2-0 (2.19 ERA) in his L4 starts and figures to handle the Marlins who have had trouble scoring in South Beach where the low is 5-1 L6. Hernandez make his first 2019 start for the Fish after having a cup of coffee last year. He's rocking an unheard of 1.13 ERA in nine AAA starts this year so you would assume he can pitch. Under is the play. |
06-11-19 | A's v. Rays UNDER 9 | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 6 h 29 m | Show
DMack's Tuesday MLB Play of the Day in on the A's/Rays Under (Fiers/Stanek) Listed You really just can't say enough about Mike Fiers who has pitched great all year. Sure he has the no-hitter but more importantly for out purposes, his ERA is 2.37 over his L6 starts and he's a veteran with a rubber arm who can go deep into a game and wriggle out of trouble if need be. Bullpen game for the Rays and nobody does it better than Rhyne Stanek. The under is 6-1 in the Rays L7 and they will dictate runs scored. Play the low. |
