SunBelt Conference matchup here today between Troy Trojans and Arkansas Little Rock Trojans. Troy has lost two straight games after losses to Texas State and Arkansas State. Troy is an offensive powerhouse, averaging 80.6 ppg and shooting 46.5 percent this season. In addition, Troy is shooting 37.4% from beyond the 3-point arc. Little Rock is 3-3 in conference play after a win over South Alabama last time out. Troy has been money in the pocket this season, covering eight of their last nine games and going OVER in eight straight games. In addition, Troy is 8-0 ATS in their last eight road games. Not such good news for Little Rock, which is just 2-7 ATS in their last nine games. I expect a close game here, but I'm taking the high scoring Troy Trojans. Play Troy.

01/23 04:00 PM CB (539) CANISIUS VS (540) NIAGARA. Take: Metro Atlantic Athletic Game of the Month, (539) CANISIUS Reason: Canisius has had a very good season, going 12-8 S/U and 10-6 ATS. The Golden Griffins have looked good until the last two games, both losses. Canisius is 5-4 in conference play and currently 5th in the conference. For the Grifs to have any chance to stay in the conference hunt, they need wins over teams like Niagara. Niagara is just 6-14 on the season with a 8-9 ATS mark. The Purple Eagles snapped a four-game losing streak in their last game, with a win at St Peters, 57-55. The Purple Eagles are just 4-9 ATS in their last 13 home games. Sun Belt matchup here today as Troy takes on Georgia State. Both clubs enter today's contest with eight wins. However, there is a big edge to Troy in spread wins. The Trojans are 7-3 ATS this season on the road and have covered six straight. No such luck for the Panthers, who have failed to cover in the last three games and six of the last seven. In fact, GSU still looking for its first home cover of the season while they are 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 home overall. The Georgia State defense also lacks this year, allowing 71.1 points per game and 42.8% shooting. Troy averages 74.3 points per game and 33.5% from beyond the three-point arc. The dog has covered the spread in six of the last seven meetings and Troy is the dog here today. I like Troy in what should be a very close game.

This is a tough spot for the Tribe, as they play their fourth straight road game tonight. Hofstra had a very good non-con schedule, posting a 8-5 record. The Pride opened conference play with a win at Delaware, 58-56. Not surprisingly, the home team has been the team to play in this series as they are 9-3 ATS the last 12 meetings. Excellent matchup here in the Diamond Heat Classic final round as 10-2 San Francisco takes on 7-4 San Diego State. The SF Dons have won three straight and six of their last seven games including wins over Utah (as 11.5 point dog) and Illinois State (as 6.5 pt dog). This will be the final contest for San Francisco before they start West Coast Conference play on the 29th. Meanwhile, San Diego State isn't quite as good as previous editions of this team. The Aztecs have won three straight games after losing three. Most shockingly, was the Aztecs loss to Grand Canyon State, 76-72 and Chicago Illinois, 65-59. Long time Head Coach Steve Fisher has only won a single tournament in his career and that was the Rainbow Classic back in 1992 with Michigan. I think this five point line is too high for the Aztecs, which have struggled this year against far inferior teams. I'm taking the points with San Francisco here.
