11-18-19 | Chiefs v. Chargers +5.5 | 24-17 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 27 m | Show
This is an 8* play on LAC. The Chargers will play Kansas City in Mexico City tonight, and they will be wary of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs high flying offense. Mahomes threw for 446 yards and three TDs in a loss at Tennessee last week, and the only way to stop him is to keep the ball out of his hands. This has been proven by the Colts, who ran for 180 yards in a 19-13 win over the Chiefs. The Texans ran for 192 yards in a win over the Chiefs a week later. Melvin Gordon is coming off back to back games with 20+ carries and 80+ yards, so the Chargers should be well equiped to put this plan into action. LA also boasts the #4 ranked pass defense in the NFL, allowing just over 200 yards per game. Take LAC. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-17-19 | Bears v. Rams -6 | 7-17 | Win | 100 | 7 h 26 m | Show
This is a 5* play on the LA Rams. The Rams have struggled this season, but they have a home game against a Bears team that appears to have far bigger problems. As good as their defense is, they rank 30th in the NFL in passing averaging just over 180 yards per game, and their running game isn't a lot better. Chicago's leading rusher David Montgomery is listed as a game time decision with an ankle injury. If the Bears need Mitch Tribisky to do all the heavy lifting, they will likely be in trouble. Take LAR. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-17-19 | Patriots -175 v. Eagles | 17-10 | Win | 100 | 157 h 22 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the New England Patriots. The Patriots suffered their first loss of the season in Baltimore, but they've had a week off to regroup. They take on the Eagles here on Sunday, and Philly looks vulnerable. The Patriots are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a bye week. The over is 6-1 in Patriots last seven games following a bye week. Take NE. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-17-19 | Seton Hall v. St. Louis +7 | 83-66 | Loss | -103 | 17 h 15 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Saint Louis Bilikens. I bet on the Bilikens early this week, and here is what I said prior to their win over Eastern Washington: "The Bilikens have won 17 of their last 19 home games, and they are coming off double digit wins over Valparaiso and FGSU. They have gotten off to good starts in both those games, leading by 22 at halftime against FGSU and leading by 11 at halftime in their win over the Crusaders." They are getting points here at home versus Seton Hall, and I wouldn't be surprised if they win this game outright. Take SLU. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-17-19 | Cowboys -175 v. Lions | 35-27 | Win | 100 | 154 h 57 m | Show
8* |
|||||||
11-17-19 | Bills -6 v. Dolphins | 37-20 | Win | 100 | 154 h 54 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Oakland Raiders. Oakland is coming off back to back wins, and a home game against the lowly Bengals looks like a potential for a blowout. Cincinnati ranks dead last in the NFL in total defense, allowing 429 yards per game. They are particularly bad against the run, allowing opponents to average more than 170 rushing yards per game. The Raiders are 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games, and the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five head to head meetings. Take OAK. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-17-19 | Marquette +1 v. Wisconsin | 61-77 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 15 m | Show
8* |
|||||||
11-16-19 | USC v. Nevada +2.5 | 76-66 | Loss | -108 | 16 h 27 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Nevada Wolfpack. Nevada lost it's home opener to Utah, but has since won back to back games. They are hosting another PAC12 team tonight, and this time they will be an underdog versus USC. The Wolpack have four seniors in their starting lineup, and they should have an edge here at home against a USC team that is 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games. The Wolf Pack are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven versus PAC12 teams, and they are 40-19-3 ATS in their last 62 games following an ATS win. Take NEV. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-16-19 | Red Wings v. Sharks -199 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 23 h 20 m | Show
This is a 7* play on the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks have really turned things around winning five straight. They host the Detroit Red Wings tonight, and the Wings are in last place in the Atlantic Division. The Red Wings are 19-46 in their last 65 road games, and they are 4-13 in their last 17 games as an underdog. The Sharks are 20-7 in their last 27 games as a favorite of -201 or greater. Take SJS. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-16-19 | Blackhawks v. Predators -193 | 7-2 | Loss | -193 | 21 h 56 m | Show
This is a 7* play on Nashville. The Predators are coming off three straight road losses, but they return home where they are 6-2-2 to host Chicago. The Blackhawks are 2-4-2 on the road. The Blackhawks are 4-10 in their last 14 games as an underdog, and they are 1-6 in the last seven meetings in Nashville. The Predators are 25-12 in their last 37 games as a home favorite of -110 to -150. Pekka Rinne is 6-0-2 with a 2.21 GAA at home this season. Take NAS. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-16-19 | Pelicans v. Heat -7 | 94-109 | Win | 100 | 11 h 50 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Miami Heat. |
|||||||
11-16-19 | Senators v. Sabres -180 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 20 h 1 m | Show
This is a 7* play on the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres have lost six straight, but they have a great chance to get back on track here against the cellar dwelling Senators. The Senators are 21-44 in their last 65 games playing on 0 days rest, and they are 7-18 in their last 25 in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 situation. The Sabres have won four of their last five home games against Ottawa, and they are 9-4 in their last 13 versus teams with a losing record. Take BUF. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-16-19 | Devils v. Canadiens -155 | 4-3 | Loss | -155 | 8 h 35 m | Show
This is a 10* play on the Montreal Canadiens. The Habs sit second in the Atlantic Division with a record of 11-5-3, and they have won three straight heading into tonight's home game against New Jersey. Carey Price is looking like an early candidate for the Vezina, and he's won four of his last five starts. Price is 10-4-2 with a 2.61 GAA so far this season. The Devils come into tonight's game as the last place team in the Metropolitan Division. They have been terrible defensively, and their penalty kill ranks among the league's worst. Corey Schneider is 0-4-1 with a 4.59 GAA so far this season. Take MTL. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-16-19 | NC-Wilmington +17.5 v. Davidson | 49-87 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 25 m | Show
This is an 8* play on UNCW. The Seahawks are 2-1, and they lost by 16-points to #9 ranked North Carolina. They will be a huge underdog here at Davidson, and I don't see any reason why the Wildcats should lay a bigger beating on them than the Tar Heels did. The Wildcats beat the Seahawks 91-85 last year, and they have won all five meetings since 2011. They are a bigger favorite in this game than they were in any of those previous five games. The Seahawks are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine non-conference games. Take UNCW. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-16-19 | Tennessee v. Washington +1.5 | 75-62 | Loss | -119 | 10 h 26 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Washington Huskies. The Huskies opened the season with an impressive win over #16 ranked Baylor in Alaska. They will be in Toronto on Saturday, taking on unranked Tennessee. Both teams are a little younger this year, but Vols coach Rick Barnes seems to think his team has a long way to go: "We felt going into this year, knowing we had these younger guys, that we had to challenge them as much as we could with this schedule," said Barnes. "Even if you get burnt somewhere along the way, you have to know that it will help us in the long run." The Volunteers are 1-4 ATS in their last five non-conference games, and they have failed to cover in four straight non-conference games. Take WAS. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-16-19 | Minnesota v. Iowa -140 | 19-23 | Win | 100 | 16 h 30 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Iowa Hawkeyes. Minnesota came into last week's home game versus Penn State with an 8-0 record, but they hadn't beaten any Top 25 teams. They have now established themselves as a legitimate contender, but they are vulnurable to a let down here in a tough road game at Iowa a week later. Iowa is a gritty team that has been getting down and dirty with the big boys all season long. When the Gophers were beating up on Rutgers and Illinois, the Hawkeyes were battling the likes of Michigan and Wisconsin. Iowa still ranks among the best defensive teams in the country, allowing just over 11 points per game. That's quite impressive considering their tough schedule. Take IOWA. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-16-19 | Georgia v. Auburn +3 | 21-14 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 58 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Auburn Tigers. The Georgia Bulldogs are now sitting #4 overall in the College Football Playoff Rankings. They come into this road game at Auburn with an 8-1 record, and they are the favorite over the 7-2 Tigers. Auburn lost by just three points against #1 ranked LSU, and they lost on the road at Florida. The Tigers have had an extra week to prepare for this matchup, and they are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a bye week. The Tigers are 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games. I'll take the points in a game where I think the wrong team is favored. Take AUB. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-16-19 | Navy v. Notre Dame -7 | 20-52 | Win | 100 | 15 h 54 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Notre Dame Irish. I have a ton of respect for the Navy Midshipmen, and I have never been a fan of the Irish and their soft schedule as an independent school. As much as I normally like to bet against Notre Dame, I can't deny that the gap in talent here is just too large to consider the underdog getting just single digits. This looks like it should be a comfortable double digit win for the home team. The Midshipmen are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 versus a team with a winning record. The Fighting Irish are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games. The play is on ND. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-15-19 | Jazz v. Grizzlies OVER 214.5 | 106-107 | Loss | -112 | 9 h 4 m | Show
This is an 8* play on UTAH@MEM to go Over the total. The Jazz are the top defensive team in the NBA, allowing opponents to average just 99.5 points per game this season. They have not been as sharp on the road, allowing over 100 points in each of their last three road games. The Grizzlies are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA, allowing over 118 points per game. They come into tonight's game as a home underdog looking for a third straight win. The over is 7-3 in Grizzlies last 10 home games, and I expect another high scoring game here tonight. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-14-19 | Hawks v. Suns OVER 227 | Top | 112-128 | Win | 100 | 13 h 58 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on ATL@PHX to go Over the total. The Atlanta Hawks are feeling good about themselves coming into tonight's game at Phoenix, coming off a 125-121 win over the Nuggets in Denver. Tre Young scored 42 points on 13-of-21 shooting in the victory. It was however the third consecutive game that the Hawks allowed their opponent to score 120+ points. Tonight they face a Suns team that ranks among the top teams in the league in scoring, but the Suns are also allowing opponents to average more than 110 points per game this season. The history tells us that these two teams have gone under in five straight meetings, and nine of the last 10 meetings. That history might be keeping tonight's number artificially low, as the last two time these two teams played they score at least 230 combined points, but failed to reach a much higher total. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-14-19 | Steelers +3 v. Browns | 7-21 | Loss | -113 | 44 h 34 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have completely flipped the script after losing four of their first five games. They have since won four straight, and they have a real shot to make the playoffs. The Browns are a team looking to turn their season around, and last week's home win over Buffalo was perhaps a step in the right direction. The pessimist might see the glass half full though, and while they beat the Bills they were not all that impressive in doing so. They trailed 16-12 with less than two minutes to play, but Mayfield was able to score on a game winning drive with just 1:44 left on the clock. The Steelers have been in every game they have played since being blown out in New England in Week 1. They lost by two points to the Seahawks, by points to the 49ers and by three points against the Ravens. Those teams have a combined record of 22-5, so it seems rather generous that they are getting three points here against a team that is 3-6. Take PIT. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-14-19 | Clippers -1 v. Pelicans | 127-132 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 41 m | Show
This is a Free NBA play on the LAC. |
|||||||
11-14-19 | Penn State v. Georgetown OVER 148.5 | 81-66 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 22 m | Show
This is an 8* play on PSU@GTWN to go Over the total. Georgetown is 2-0, and they come into tonight's home games Penn State averaging 85 points per game on 48.8 percent shooting. The Nittany Lions have scored their fair share as well, averaging 87.5 points on 48 percent shooting. Both teams are hitting better than 37 percent from beyond the arc, and that should lead to a high scorer here tonight. The Hoyas have seen the total at 150 or higher in each of their last nine games, and the over is 20-6 in the Hoyas last 26 games following an ATS loss. Their last game was an 88-79 win over Central Arkansas as a 22-point favorite. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-13-19 | Eastern Washington v. St. Louis -7.5 | 60-82 | Win | 100 | 14 h 31 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Saint Louis Bilikens. The Bilikens have won 17 of their last 19 home games, and they are coming off double digit wins over Valparaiso and FGSU. They have gotten off to good starts in both those games, leading by 22 at halftime against FGSU and leading by 11 at halftime in their win over the Crusaders. They host the Eastern Washington Eagles tonight, and the Eagles are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 non-conference games. The Eagles are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 road games versus a team with a winning home record. The Billikens are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games, and they are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. This Saint Louis team is excellent defensively, and a home game against a team from an inferior conference should be an easy double digit win. Take SLU. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-13-19 | Clippers v. Rockets | 93-102 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 16 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the LA Clippers. Both the Clippers and the Rockets are 7-3 overall, and the two team meet in Houston tonight. While these teams have the same record, the number that really matters is the number of games that the Clippers have won when Kawhi Leonard has played. They are 7-0 when he plays, and 0-3 when he doesn't. You better believe he's playing tonight, and that's bad news for James Harden and the Rockets. Houston is the highest scoring team in the NBA averaging over 120 points per game. What has been problematic for the Rockets is that they have allowed opponents to average over 118 points per game. The Clippers have owned the Rockets, covering the spread in six of the last eight meetings. They are 4-1 ATS in their last five in Houston. Take LAC. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-13-19 | Senators v. Devils UNDER 6.5 | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 13 h 36 m | Show
This is an 8* play on OTT@NJD to go Under the total. The Devils are coming off a 2-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks, and 22 year old rookie Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 30-of-31 shots. With a record of 5-3-3 and a 2.93 GAA he has been far better than his counterpart Corey Schneider who is 0-4-1 with a 4.59 GAA. The Devils will host Ottawa tonight, and the Senators own the league's worst power play. The Devils aren't much better, ranking 26th converting on just over 13% of their power plays. Two of the league's worst teams with two of the least talented rosters might not be expected to score a lot of goals here. The under is 6-2 in Senators last eight overall, and the under is 6-2 in Senators last eight games as an underdog. The under is 8-3 in Devils last 11 games following a win. The under is 8-3 in Devils last 11 games following a win. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-12-19 | Memphis v. Oregon OVER 145 | 74-82 | Win | 100 | 11 h 30 m | Show
This is an 8* play on ORE@MEM to go Over the total. The Ducks are coming off a 106-75 win over Boise State, and they shot 70% from the field in that victory. The Tigers are coming off a pair of wins, scoring 90+ points in both games. The Ducks have scored an average of 88.5 points per game in their last five overall, while the Tigers have scored an average of 94.5 points per game during that span. I expect both these teams to score their fair share in a neutral site game this early in the season. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-11-19 | Seahawks v. 49ers OVER 47 | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 8 h 47 m | Show
This is an 8* play on SEA@SF to go Over the total. The Seahawks defense has struggled this season, and that is especially true lately. Over their last five games they have allowed 28 or more in four of five games. The 49ers defense ranks first overall in the NFL in yards allowed, but they face a Seattle quarterback that has thrown for 22 TDs and one INT so far this season. The over is 6-2 in the Seahawks last eight road games, and the over is 13-5 in the Seahawks last 18 games overall. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-10-19 | Edmonton v. Montreal UNDER 50 | Top | 37-29 | Loss | -107 | 51 h 45 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on EDM@MTL to go Under the total. Trevor Harris ranks second in the CFL in passing, but he put up big numbers early in the season before struggling down the stretch. In his last four appearances he's thrown more INTs (4) than TDs (3). Edmonton scored just 13 points in a loss to Saskatchewan last week, and they Eskimos have averaged just 17 points per game in their last four games. They do have the CFL's #3 ranked scoring defense behind Hamilton and Saskatchewan. The under is 11-3-1 in the Eskimos last 15 road games, and the last time they played Montreal they lost by a score of 20-10. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-10-19 | Bills v. Browns -140 | 16-19 | Win | 100 | 7 h 32 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Cleveland Browns. I predicted Baker Mayfield's redemption tour last week, and that didn't work out well at all: "Everyone is talking about how bad Baker Mayfield is, and how bad the Cleveland Browns are. What people aren't talking about, is who they have played the last three weeks. Their last three losses have come to Seattle, San Francisco and New England. Those three teams have a combined record of 22-2. When you look at the Browns schedule, it's no wonder Baker Mayfield has such poor numbers. They really need a win here in Denver this week, and the Broncos appear to be tanking. Joe Flacco is out for the year and will be replaced by a third stringer Brandon Allen who has no starting experience. This should be the beggining of Baker Mayfield's redemption tour." Surely the Browns have hit rock bottom, and there is nowhere to go but up? The Bills are 6-2 and I gotta believe they are terribly overrated. Call me a glutton for punishment, but I am back on the Browns this week. Take CLE. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-10-19 | Giants -145 v. Jets | 27-34 | Loss | -145 | 7 h 31 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the NYG. I had the Giants +7.5 on Monday Night Football, and they looked great early in the game. When play was stopped because of a black cat on the field, I knew my bet would take a turn for the worst. Here is what I said prior to kickoff: "The Giants are just 2-6, but they have improved tremendously since Daniel Jones took over at QB. They are coming off four straight losses after Jones won his first two starts, but both of their last two losses came in games decided by less than seven points. Saquon Barkley was injured for two of the last four losses, but perhaps for the first time Jones will have his star running back at full strength. " This week the Giants face a New York Jets team that is playing as bad as any team in the league. Injuries to several key players have derailed the Jets, and I don't think they have much fight left in them. Take NYG. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-10-19 | Manchester City v. Liverpool +163 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 163 | 34 h 57 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Liverpool. It's been clear very early this season that Liverpool is the team to beat in the Premier League. Last week City had to come from behind and score in the dying minutes to beat a Southampton side that is facing relegation. Poor defending has plagued City since the beginning of the season, as evidenced by losses to Norwich and Wolverhamton just a few weeks apart. Liverpool has the edge in the last five head to head matches (2-2-1) and Liverpool is 22-0-2 at Anfield the last two seasons. Take Liverpool. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-09-19 | Kings v. Canadiens UNDER 6.5 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 13 h 49 m | Show
This is an 8* play on LAK@MTL to go Under the total. The Kings rank 27th in the NHL in scoring, and they face an elite goaltender tonight in Montreal. Carey Price received high praise from an opposing goaltender after his last start. "I think Price is the only reason why they got a point tonight," Flyers goaltender Carter Hart said. "I thought we really competed hard tonight." The Kings power play is converting on just 10 percent of their opportunities, and that's one of the worst in the NHL. The under is 14-6 in the Kings last 20 games playing on 1 days rest, and the under is 20-8-3 in Canadiens last 31 games as a favorite. Only once in the last eight meetings have these teams combined for more than six goals. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-09-19 | LSU v. Alabama UNDER 65 | Top | 46-41 | Loss | -110 | 121 h 18 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on LSU@BAMA under 65. The Alabama Crimson Tide haven't been tested yet, but they also haven't played anybody currently ranked in the Top 25. LSU on the other hand comes in battle tested, with a pair of wins over Top 10 teams (Florida and Auburn). The Tigers will be looking to avenge a 29-0 loss to Alabama last year, and they do have history on their side. The Tigers are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Alabama, and the Crimson Tide are 0-5 ATS in their last five home games versus a team with a winning road record. The under is 5-0 in the last five meetings. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-09-19 | LSU +6.5 v. Alabama | 46-41 | Win | 100 | 4 h 55 m | Show
This is a 10* play on LSU. Take LSU. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-08-19 | Raptors -130 v. Pelicans | 122-104 | Win | 100 | 10 h 12 m | Show
This is an 7* play on the Toronto Raptors.
I took Toronto in their home opener versus New Orleans, and this is what I said prior to tip off: "There is no doubt that Kawhi Leonard deserved plenty of credit for bringing a title to Toronto, but I believe that there is a false narrative that he did it by himself. Many people question how competitive the Raptors can be without Kawhi. I would point out that last year they actually had a higher winning percentage in games he missed due to load management, than they did in the games he played. This is also a team that finished at or near the top of the Eastern Conference several seasons in a row prior to the arrival of Kawhi. Players like Fred Van Fleet and Pascal Siakam should be primed to thrive in a greater role. I caution against sleeping on the Raptors, and I'll take them in a home opener against the short-handed Pelicans." The Raptors are 15-2 ATS in the last 17 meetings in New Orleans, and I have to like them to win this game outright. Take TOR. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-08-19 | Canucks v. Jets -120 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 10 h 50 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Winnipeg. The Jets have lost five of their last seven home games, but this is a team that won 57 and lost just 19 at home the last two seasons. Tonight they catch the Canucks playing the second game of a back to back, coming off a 5-2 loss in Chicago. "I just don't think we were very good," Canucks coach Travis Green said. "We didn't look sharp, we didn't handle the puck very well. ... We just weren't very good (Thursday), some players. The Canucks are 3-13 in their last 16 games as a road underdog, and they are 2-14 in their last 16 games playing on 0 days rest. The Jets are 9-1 in the last 10 head to head meetings versus Vancouver. Take WPG. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-07-19 | Devils v. Flames -153 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 15 h 59 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Calgary Flames. The Flames have won three of their last four overall, and they sit just two points out of first place in the Western Conference. They host the New Jersey Devils tonight, and the Devils are struggling. New Jersey is brutal on special teams, with one of the league's worst penalty kills and a power play that is converting at just 14%. The Devils are 16-37 in their last 53 games as a road underdog, and they are 1-4 in their last 5 in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 situation. They are 0-5 in their last five versus the Flames, and they have lost seven of their last eight in Calgary. Take CAL. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-07-19 | Thunder v. Spurs -180 | 112-121 | Win | 100 | 15 h 32 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the San Antonio Spurs. The Oklahoma City Thunder are 3-4, which is pretty solid for a team going through a rebuild. All three of those wins have come at home, and they are 0-2 on the road. The Spurs are 3-1 at home, and they are 5-0 ATS in their last five home games versus the Thunder. The Thunder are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings, and the home team has covered in each of the last five meetings. The favorite is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Pop isn't happy with the way the Spurs have played on defense, and he should have his troops well prepared for this game against an inferior opponent. Take SA. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-07-19 | Chargers v. Raiders OVER 48.5 | 24-26 | Win | 100 | 14 h 16 m | Show
This is an 8* play on LAC@OAK to go Over the total. The Raiders have given up over 93 points in their last three games, and both Matt Stafford and Aaron Rodgers threw for over 400 yards against them. During that span their offense has also been productive, and Derek Carr has thrown for over 280 yards with at least two TDs in each of his last three starts. The Raiders host the Chargers on Thursday Night Football, and NFL passing leader Phillip Rivers. The over is 5-1 in the Raiders last six games overall. The over is 37-18-3 in the Raiders last 58 games following an ATS win. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-06-19 | 76ers v. Jazz UNDER 211.5 | 104-106 | Win | 100 | 10 h 21 m | Show
This is a 10* play on PHI@UTAH to go Under the total. The Sixers are coming off their first loss of the season, and they might have trouble scoring here in Utah tonight. The Jazz are undefeated at home this season, and they rank first overall in the NBA in opponent's scoring average. They have allowed just 95.6 points per game this season, and they have been even tougher at home. Opponents have averaged just 90.6 points in Utah. The under is 5-0 in Utah's last five home games, and the under is 5-0 the Jazz last five games coming off a loss. These two teams have gone under in five straight meetings in Salt Lake City. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-05-19 | Heat v. Nuggets -4.5 | 89-109 | Win | 100 | 11 h 19 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Denver Nuggets. The Miami Heat come into Denver with a 5-1 record, sitting first in the Eastern Conference. They might be playing a little over their heads though, and it's important to point out that two of their five wins have come against the Atlanta Hawks. This is a tough spot for an Eastern Conference team, playing on the road at altitude in Denver. A lot of people might not realize that Denver had the best home record in the NBA last season, going 34-7 at the Pepsi Center. Denver has won four of the last five head to head meetings, and the Heat are 4-9 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Denver. The Heat are 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine versus the NBA Northwest. Take DEN. GL, Jesse Schule. |
|||||||
11-05-19 | Coyotes v. Flames -155 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 11 h 59 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Calgary Flames. The Flames lost three of five games on long road trip, but they return home to face the Arizona Coyotes who are coming off an overtime win over Edmonton last night. This looks like a good spot for a team that finished first in the Western Conference last season. The Coyotes are off to a strong start, but it remains to be seen if they have what it takes to make the playoffs. The Coyotes are 2-12 in their last 14 games as an underdog of +110 to +150, and they will have their backup goaltender between the pipes tonight. The Flames are 4-1 in their last five games as a home favorite of -110 to -150. Take CAL. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-04-19 | Cowboys v. Giants +9 | Top | 37-18 | Loss | -130 | 193 h 60 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on the NYG. The Cowboys will be a huge road favorite in New York on Monday night, despite the fact that Dallas has lost three of it's last four overall. The Giants are just 2-6, but they have improved tremendously since Daniel Jones took over at QB. They are coming off four straight losses after Jones won his first two starts, but both of their last two losses came in games decided by less than seven points. Saquon Barkley was injured for two of the last four losses, but perhaps for the first time Jones will have his star running back at full strength. The Cowboys have lost two of three road games including a loss in New York to the Jets. They have no business being favored by more than a TD here. Take NYG. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-03-19 | Patriots -155 v. Ravens | 20-37 | Loss | -155 | 46 h 46 m | Show
This is a 7* play on the New England Patriots. New England is still undefeated, but experienced bettors know that eventually there will be money to be made betting against the Patriots. Apparently there are many that think this week's game in Baltimore is just such an opportunity. I can't see it myself. Belichick has had plenty of success against young quarterbacks, and this defense is going to make life tough on Lamar Jackson. Tom Brady is 6-1 lifetime against the Ravens during the regular season, and New England simply has more weapons. This is a game where Belichick is likely to scheme his way to victory. Take NE. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-03-19 | Browns +1.5 v. Broncos | 19-24 | Loss | -115 | 137 h 37 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Cleveland Browns. Everyone is talking about how bad Baker Mayfield is, and how bad the Cleveland Browns are. This should be the beggining of Baker Mayfield's redemption tour. Take CLE. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-03-19 | Lions v. Raiders -143 | 24-31 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Oakland Raiders. I bet on the Raiders last week, and here is what I said prior to their loss (and cover) versus Houston: "The Raiders came into Green Bay as a big underdog, and just before halftime they were just a yard away from a go ahead touchdown. Instead Derek Carr fumbled the ball into the endzone, and Aaron Rodgers came back and drove the length of the field to put Green Bay ahead by double digits. The 14 point swing was just too difficult to overcome, as Rodgers simply couldn't be stopped. Here in Houston today they are getting seven points, and I expect them to have a chance to win this game outright." They are back at home after playing five straight on the road (including London). With Detroit at less than full strength, this looks like a great spot to back the Raiders as a home favorite. Take OAK. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-02-19 | Canucks v. Sharks -145 | 5-2 | Loss | -145 | 14 h 16 m | Show
This is a 10* play on the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks are off to a terrible start to the season, and they sit just one point out of last place in the Pacific Division. They host Vancouver on Saturday night at the Shark Tank, and with both teams playing on back to back nights this spot favors San Jose. The Canucks played in Anaheim on Friday, while the Sharks were at home versus Winnipeg. The Canucks are 10-28 in their last 38 games playing on back to back nights, and they are 2-8 in their last 10 versus San Jose. Take SJS. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-02-19 | 76ers v. Blazers -119 | 129-128 | Loss | -119 | 10 h 48 m | Show
This is a 10* play on the Portland Trailblazers. Philly comes into Portland with a perfect 4-0 record, thanks to what Brett Bown calls "bully ball defense" and "smashmouth offense". it's real," he said. "Every time we can, we like to point to an example, 'Yup, this is Philly hard. Yup, that thing had an edge.' This is real. There's a spirit amongst our team that's authentic. It is Philadelphia and life moves on. That's part of it." Joel Embiid has been a big part of Philly's success, averaging over 23 points and 10 rebounds per game. He's serving the first game of a two game suspension tonight, and his production will be missed. Portland has won six of the last nine meetings, and five straight at home during that span. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-02-19 | Nuggets -175 v. Magic | 91-87 | Win | 100 | 21 h 55 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Denver Nuggets. After losing at home to Dallas and then on the road at New Orleans, the Nuggets coach Mike Malone ripped his team. "We're a great talk team. We can talk before the season starts about all the things we want to accomplish, and we want to be a contending team," Malone said. "It's all bulls---. Don't tell me about it, show me. And right now we've got a lot of guys that aren't showing me much." This should be a focused team tonight in Orlando, and while the the Magic are able to compete with the majority of teams in the East, I don't fancy their chances against one of the best teams from the Western Conference. Denver is 6-0 straight up and 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings versus Orlando. Take DEN. GL, Jesse Schule. |

11-02-19 | Utah v. Washington +3.5 | 33-28 | Loss | -110 | 111 h 27 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Washington. It shocks me to see the Huskies getting points at home to Utah. Sure the Utes are ranked in the Top 10, and Washington is unranked. Sure the Utes have a better record. But let's really look at what separates these two teams. Five of Utah's seven wins have come at home, and the one time they played a competitive team on the road they lost at USC. They don't have any wins over teams currently ranked in the Top 25. The Huskies have two losses, one in a weather delayed game versus California, and a close loss to the #7 ranked Oregon Ducks. Washington is 6-1 straight up in the last seven meetings between these teams, and I'll take the points with the Huskies as a home dog. Take WASH. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-31-19 | Flames v. Predators -149 | 6-5 | Loss | -149 | 12 h 29 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Nashville Predators. The Flames were the first place team in the Western Conference last year, but they were knocked out in the first round of the playoffs by the Colorado Avalanche. Moves made in the off-season haven't helped Calgary get better, and one deal appears particulalry lobsided. The Flames sent James Neal to Edmonton for Milan Lucic, and while Neal is second in the NHL with 11 goals so far, Lucic is playing just 12 minutes per game and has just three points. The Predators have long been one of the top home teams in the NHL, and Pekka Rinne has incredible numbers at home in Nashville. Rinne is coming off a shutout in a home win in his last start. Take NAS. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-30-19 | Nationals v. Astros OVER 7.5 | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 38 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 7.5. The bookmakers are calling for a pitcher's duel with Zack Greinke and Max Scherzer starting in Game 7. Both these aces might be vulnerable here and the bats for both teams have been hot. The ball was carrying well last night, with a total of four home runs. Scherzer was scratched from his last start due to injury, but he's going to try to go after having a cortisone shot. He allowed a pair of runs on five hits and three walks in five innings in his last start, and he needed over 100 pitches to get through those five innings. Greinke is 0-2 with a 5.30 ERA in the post-season, and he was fortunate to allow just one run in 4/2 innings in his last start. He gave up a whopping seven hits and three walks in Game 3. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-29-19 | Nationals +1.5 v. Astros | 7-2 | Win | 100 | 12 h 25 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Washington +1.5. Here is what I said prior to Game 2: "The Astros lost Game 1 as the big home favorite, and they are still heavily favored in Game 2. I like Washington's chances of at least keeping this game close. Stephen Strasburg will toe the slab for the Nats, and he's 3-0 with a 1.64 ERA in four post-season starts. The Nationals won all four of those games. The Astros hand the ball to Justin Verlander, who has been far from perfect in the playoffs. He's allowed a total of 10 runs while going winless in his last three starts. The Nats have a far better team batting average versus Verlander than the Astros do against Strasburg." The same matchup in Game 6 and I see it the same way. Take WAS. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-28-19 | Magic v. Raptors -4.5 | 95-104 | Win | 100 | 7 h 25 m | Show
This is a 10* play on the Toronto Raptors. There is no doubt that Kawhi Leonard deserved plenty of credit for bringing a title to Toronto, but I believe that there is a false narrative that he did it by himself. I caution against sleeping on the Raptors, and I'll take them in tonight's game in Chicago with both teams playing the second game of a back to back. Take TOR. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
10-27-19 | Packers -5 v. Chiefs | 31-24 | Win | 100 | 13 h 7 m | Show
This is a 7* play on the Green Bay Packers. The Chiefs came into last week's game in Denver off back to back losses, and then they lost starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a serious knee injury. The fact that they won in a blowout with third string quarterback Matt Moore says a lot more about how bad Denver is rather than giving any indication that the Chiefs are in good shape in the absence of Mahomes. The Packers have won three straight, and that includes a double digit road win over Dallas. Aaron Rodgers lit up Oakland last week, throwing for 429 yards and five TDs. He's going up against a Chiefs defense that has allowed opponents to score 25+ points four times in seven games so far. The Chiefs are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games. Take GB. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-27-19 | Raiders +7 v. Texans | 24-27 | Win | 100 | 15 h 45 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders came into Green Bay as a big underdog, and just before halftime they were just a yard away from a go ahead touchdown. Instead Derek Carr fumbled the ball into the endzone, and Aaron Rodgers came back and drove the length of the field to put Green Bay ahead by double digits. The 14 point swing was just too difficult to overcome, as Rodgers simply couldn't be stopped. Here in Houston today they are getting seven points, and I expect them to have a chance to win this game outright. As well as Deshaun Watson has played, Houston has given up a ton of points. The total for this game is one of the highest on the board, and in a projected shootout it might be the last score that wins. Take OAK. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-26-19 | Astros v. Nationals +1.5 | 8-1 | Loss | -165 | 10 h 43 m | Show
This is a 7* play on the Washington Nationals. The Astros are back in the series after winning Game 3, but I still like the Nationals as the home underdog in Game 4. Patrick Corbin will toe the slab for Washington. "These are games I want to pitch in," Corbin said. "I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to go out there and help us win a ball game. This is what you prepare for all offseason, to pitch in these games and just to have the opportunity to go out there, give it my best." He was 8-2 with a 2.40 ERA at home in Washington during the regular season. The Astros will turn to their bullpen, and 24 year old Jose Urquidy will throw the first pitch. The right-hander has allowed a run on six hits and a couple walks in 4 1/3 innings this post-season. Adam Eaton is batting .500 in the series, and he's 2-for-2 with a pair of home runs lifetime versus Roberto Osuna. Take WAS. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-26-19 | Notre Dame v. Michigan +1 | Top | 14-45 | Win | 100 | 17 h 36 m | Show |
This is a10* play on the Michigan Wolverines. A lot of the Television talk show hosts will tell you that Jim Harbaugh doesn't win the big games (Colin Cowherd), but I don't think Harbaugh gets enough credit for the games he has won at Michigan. Tonight is a big game for Harbaugh, with a chance to beat a Top 10 team at home in Ann Arbor. Now I am not a big fan of the Notre Dame Irish, and their winning records against inferior opponents. The knock on Notre Dame is the same every year ... they just don't play anybody. They've faced one team currently ranked in the Top 25, and they lost 23-17 to Georgia. Now you could call that a "good loss", but unless you have a handful of "good wins" to go a long with it, then it doesn't impress me. This game also has revenge written all over it, after the Irish beat Michigan in the season opener 24-17 last year. The home team is 8-1 straight up in the last nine head to head meetings, and that trend should continue tonight. Take MICH. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-26-19 | Blue Jackets v. Flyers -150 | Top | 4-7 | Win | 100 | 16 h 41 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers have won back to back games, and they are 3-1 at home so far. They host the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight, and Columbus is just 2-2 on the road. "It's 10 games -- I don't know who the hell we are," Columbus coach John Tortorella said. "I like this team. I like the enthusiasm they bring. They've got to keep working at it so it becomes who we are, it becomes second nature." The Blue Jackets are 2-6 in their last eight games as an underdog of +110 to +150, while the Flyers are 13-5 in their last 18 games as a favorite. Take PHI. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-26-19 | Penn State v. Michigan State UNDER 43.5 | 28-7 | Win | 100 | 12 h 22 m | Show
This is an 8* play on PSU@MSU to go Under the total. The Spartans are coming off a bye week, after getting throttled in a 38-0 loss to Wisconsin. They should be ready to go to war in this home game against Penn State, and both teams have been very comfortable playing low scoring smashmouth football games. The Nittany Lions have won a pair of games already that they failed to score 20 points in, 17-12 at Iowa and 17-10 at home versus Pittsburgh. The Spartans offense rarely scores 20, but their defense at home in games like this has risen to the challenge. I think if either of these teams scores 20 points in this game it will be enough to win. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-26-19 | Chelsea v. Burnley OVER 2.75 | Top | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 9 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5 goals. Chelsea comes into Saturday's match versus Burnley in top form, the Blues have won five straight matches in all competitions. Chelsea sits fourth in the Premier League table, and their 19 goals for are just two less than first place Liverpool. The difference is that Chelsea has also conceded 14 goals, which is twice as many as Liverpool. Recent matches versus Burnley have been high scoring, with three or more goals scored in each of the last four meetings. The last time these two teams met the result was a 2-2 draw. I fancy Burnley to get a goal here, but I don't think it will be enough to salvage any points. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-25-19 | Astros v. Nationals +1.5 | Top | 4-1 | Loss | -138 | 31 h 21 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on the Washington Nationals. Washington has been the better team throughout the playoffs, getting clutch hits and excellent starting pitching since day 1. The Astros are still considered the favorite after losing the first two games at home, but my money is on the Nats once again. Anibal Sanchez will toe the slab for Washington, and while he doesn't have the same star power as names like Verlander and Greinke, he's been the more dominant pitcher in these playoffs. He came one inning away from a no-hitter in Game 1 of the NLCS versus St. Louis. The Astros hand the ball to Zack Greinke, who just hasn't been all that sharp in the playoffs. He's given up 10 runs on 15 hits in three appearances, without recording a win. Take WAS. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-24-19 | Wild v. Predators -171 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 20 h 25 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Nashville Predators. It's no surprise that the Nashville Predators have won four of five home games so far this season, they have been one of the best home teams in the NHL over the last 4-5 years. They should be in a good spot to improve on that record tonight, hosting a struggling Minnesota Wild team without starting netminder Devan Dubnyk. Backup goalie Alex Stalock will be between the pipes tonight, and he was lit up for four goals in a loss to Montreal in his last start. He's 0-4-1 with a 2.80 GAA in five career appearances versus Nashville. Take NAS. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-22-19 | Lakers v. Clippers +3.5 | 102-112 | Win | 100 | 16 h 58 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the LA Clippers. The Clippers were a playoff team last year and the Lakers were not. The Lakers are expected to be dramatically better with Anthony Davis, and so are the Clippers with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The Lakers though are old, I don't like their depth, and I think it's inevitable that LeBron loses a step. The Clippers are shorthanded without Paul George, but the Lakers won't have Kyle Kuzma. Anthony Davis isn't 100 percent either, and I think this Lakers team is going to really struggle to live up to all the hype. My money is on Kawhi to become the NEW .. King of LA. Take KAWHI over LEBRON. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-22-19 | Nationals +1.5 v. Astros | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 15 h 27 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Washington Nationals +1.5. The Nats are the surprise team in the World Series, facing an Astros team that was favored to win it all since the beginning of the season. In a battle of aces, and with Washington having the hotter bats, the underdog looks like the play here. Gerrit Cole will toe the slab for Houston, and he's been untouchable in the post-season. He will face a Washington lineup that has had some success against him in the past. The Nats have been the highest scoring team in the playoffs, hitting for the highest average. Anthony Rendon is batting .385 lifetime versus Cole (13 at bats) and he comes into the World Series with the highest post-season batting average (.375) of any of the active players. The Nats hand the ball to Max Scherzer, who is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA in the playoffs. He tossed seven scoreless innings, striking out 11 in his last start. Scherzer averaged nine strikeouts per start in the regular season. Jose Altuve is 2-for-11 lifetime versus Scherzer. Take WAS. GL, Jesse Schule |

10-22-19 | Ducks v. Predators -159 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 15 h 24 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Nashville Predators. It's been a fantastic start to the season for an Anaheim Ducks team that was one of the worst in the Western Conference last year. It's hard not to peg them as overacheivers at this point, and they are in a tough spot on the road at Nasvhille tonight. The Ducks are 7-21 in their last 28 road games versus a team with a winning home record, while the Predators are 69-23 in their last 92 games as a favorite of -201 or greater. The home team has won five straight in this series, and the favorite in 5-2 in the last seven head to head meetings. John Gibson has lost two of his three starts on the road this year, and he gave up four goals in a loss at Nashville in his only visit last season. Take NAS. GL, Jesse Schule |

This is a play on Atalanta vs Manchester City over 2.5 goals. Manchester City is hosting the third place team from the Series A on UCL Match Day 3, and Atalanta is the highest scoring team in the Italian League. In just eight matches they have 21 goals, a whopping five more than first place Juventus. Their potent offense has made up for their mediocre defending, as they have also conceded 13 goals in eight matches. Manchester City might be behind Liverpool in the Premier League table, but their +20 goal differential is the best in England. We should see a shootout at the Etihad in Manchester. Take Over.
