*5 Star NCAA BB TOP Play SEC Total* The South Carolina Gamecocks are playing much quicker this year. South Carolina has turned up the speed in a big way, and Arkansas is always willing to get into a track meet with their opponent. Arkansas will force a ton of turnovers that lead to easy buckets with their full court press. South Carolina should get a lot of easy buckets on offensive rebounds and putbacks since Arkansas is terrible at defensive rebounding. I had this game lined at 159 points. Take the over big here!

*4 Star NCAA BB Hidden GEM Total* The Ball State Cardinals and Central Michigan Chippewas have one major thing in common: they don't play any defense. These two offenses might not be very good normally, but I think they'll look much better tonight as they go against such a bad defense. My numbers had this game at 146 points. That has slowed their recent games down to a crawl. In their last three contests the final scores have been 120, 128, and 128. Ole Miss also plays zone and Kentucky struggles from the outside. I had this number at 142. The under is 4-0 in Kentucky's last 4. It is 4-0 in their last 4 SEC games. The under is 5-0 in Ole Miss' last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. *3 Star NCAA BB Totals TKO* The Clemson Tigers are as good of an 'under' team as you will find in college basketball. Clemson plays great defense without fouling and absolutely stalls on the offensive end. Other than McDaniels, there is really no one on this team that is a good scoring option. NC State is a good defensive team and their 56-55 loss at Syracuse last time shows they can get drug down into a slow paced game. I had this at 117. Take the under here.

They beat Minnesota on the road 55-54 a couple weeks ago. Minnesota isn't playing very fast of late, and I expect another slowly played contest here.

Cal Poly stalls and runs the shot clock down to almost nothing every time down the court. Northridge prefers to run, but their meeting earlier this year got to just 114 points. Cal Poly can slow down this game, and I expect them to do it. The under is 6-0-1 in Cal Poly's last 7 games. The under is 4-0 in their last 4 following a SU loss. Long Beach State is a totally different team than they were a few years ago, and it's hard for the oddsmakers to adjust this team so quickly. They are now playing more defense and running much less. UCSB plays slowly and is one of the best defenses in the conference. I like the value here. Take the under.

They kept the game to just 124 points in their first meeting with Weber State despite Weber shooting an eye-popping 43 free throws. Look for a slow paced game here. I had this one at 123 points. *3 Star NCAA BB Total VALUE* The Texas San Antonio Roadrunners are horrible defensively, but they have been putting up some high point totals on their home floor. They have been having games sail over the 150 and even 160 point marks. UTSA's defense is so bad that FIU should put up much higher than their season average for points. I had this game set at 148 points. UTSA has been a good over team at home this year. Take the over.

*4 Star NCAA BB Hidden GEM Total* The North Dakota State Bison and Western Illinois Leathernecks meet in a game that is always a grind it out defensive battle. It probably wouldn't be any fun to watch, but that doesn't mean we can't make money betting on this game. The two games last year finished both below 100 points. The first meeting this year finished at 115 despite pretty good shooting numbers.

*4 Star NCAA BB Under Radar Total* UNC Asheville consistently plays games that finish way over this posted total. Radford and Asheville both get to the line a bunch, so that should help a lot here. This is a very under the radar game between two teams that rarely have their games lined, which gives us even more value on this total. I had this at 152. Take advantage of this opportunity. *4 Star NCAA BB Big 10 Total* The Northwestern Wildcats and Michigan State Spartans played to a 54-40 game at Evanston earlier this year. Keith Appling played in that game, and he is the guy that pushes the tempo for Michigan State. Appling is hurt now, and it's hard to imagine the Spartans getting a running game going here. This game should be ugly with a bunch of tough shots and solid defense. I had this at 116 points. Take the under.

*3 Star NCAA BB Totals TKO* The New Mexico Lobos and Boise State Broncos got together in a 84-75 game earlier this year. New Mexico won that game at home. New Mexico's offense is great at getting to the line, and Boise State's defense fouls a lot and struggles to stop anyone. Boise State can put up points on their home floor, and I expect a much better effort out of Boise State because of their recent poor play. Take the over here.

*5 Star NCAA BB TOP Total* The Syracuse Orange and Pitt Panthers play some very tough and physical games against each other. Neither of these teams are willing to give up buckets near the hoop, and the first meeting between these two finished at 59-54. Both teams try to slow the game down, so no one will be pushing the tempo here. Syracuse is playing at just 55 possessions per game in the conference, and Pitt is typically one of the slowest teams in the country.

Wyoming plays terrific defense as well and they are excellent at slowing the tempo of the game. The Cowboys played to a 48-46 final against a UNLV team that likes to run this past Saturday night. Last year's meeting between these two teams in Wyoming finished at 58-45. Wyoming led 20-9 at halftime. Look for some ugly shooting numbers and a slow pace here. *5 Star NCAA BB TOP Play Total* The Syracuse Orange and Clemson Tigers have a lot in common this year. They both slow the game down to a snail's pace. They are both excellent on the defensive end. Syracuse is clearly the better team overall, and they should win the game. I believe this game will be played to a total of somewhere around 52 or 53 possessions, which is brutally slow. This total is set low, but I don't think it's low enough. I had this line at 107 points. The under is 8-2 in Syracuse's last 10 games. The under is 5-1 in their last 6 home games. The Carrier Dome is tough on visiting shooters because of the backdrop. I think this is a very slow paced game where both defenses excel. Take the under big!

*3 Star NCAA BB Late Night Totals CASH* The UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans put up 180 points earlier this year when they met. USC plays very little defense and they like to run. UCLA is the fastest paced team in the Pac-12. The Bruins offense should have a bunch of success again, but look for USC's offense to be better since they are at home. I had this one at 153 points. *5 Star NCAA BB Hidden GEM TOP Total* The Montana Grizzlies are great at controlling the tempo of the game, especially on their home floor. Eastern Washington likes to play fast, but Eastern Washington was slowed down on their home court by Montana earlier this year. The final there was 69-62. It wouldn't surprise me to see this game finish well below the posted total. My number here was 143 points. I would play this one down to 147. Take the under big!

*4 Star Play on Under* The Northern Colorado Bears took it to Weber State at home earlier this year, but now Weber gets to try to exact some revenge. Weber State is the best defensive team in the conference, and the first game between these two was played to pace of just 55 possessions. I had this number at 136. Take the under here.

*3 Star Play Under* Southern Utah lost 70-36 the first time these teams played. Southern Utah hasn't had many games at all above this total, because they play so slow and their offense is dead last in efficiency in the nation. Look for a slow game here and Northern Arizona's defense will look good. I had this at 127 points. Take the under.

*4 Star NCAA BB Under Radar Total* The Washington State Cougars and Utah Utes met earlier this year. The final score in that game was 49-46. While I don't expect a game that low scoring, I do believe this total is set too high. Washington State has a bad team and they are stalling to try to stay in the game of late. *4 Star Missouri Valley Total* The Missouri State Bears and Southern Illinois Salukis played earlier this year. That game finished with a 69-63 score despite some extremely high shooting percentages from both teams. The tempo was very slow there, and both of these teams have been playing slow of late. *4 Star Play on Over* George Mason has started running when they have chances this year. They'll have plenty of chances against a Duquesne team that runs constantly. Santa Clara is going to have to come from behind and score some points to stay in the game. BYU should get this game off and running. Expect a lot of shots from both teams. I had this at 158 points. I had the under in that game, and I'm picking the under again here. UC Irvine has a ton of size down low that bothers Long Beach on offense. Both of these teams have slowed their tempo down in a big way from last year to this year. Defense should rule in this one. I had this lined at 125 points. These teams played earlier this year and the final was 61-36 Texas State. That game was played at LA Monroe. Texas State should hold Monroe to a very low number again here. *3 Star NCAA BB Totals TKO* The Georgia State Panthers are one of the best mid-major teams in the country. With RJ Hunter and Ryan Harrow this team has two elite guards. Hunter is an exceptional outside shooter, and Harrow excels in getting him open shots and getting to the basket. Georgia State won 99-73 earlier this year when these teams met. Little Rock loves to push the tempo and that should push this one over the total. I had this at 152 points. Take the over.

*4 Star NCAA BB Total PERFECTION* The Eastern Illinois Panthers lost 82-75 at Tennessee-Martin in their first meeting this year. Eastern Illinois should be able to get revenge against the OVC's worst defense here. Martin allows opponents to shoot almost 60% on two-point field goals. How bad is that? It's dead last in all of Division I basketball (351 teams). The over is 4-0 in E. Illinois' last 4 Thursday games. It is 4-0 in their last 4 following a win. *4 Star NCAA BB UConn/Cincy Total* The Connecticut Huskies and Cincinnati Bearcats will sqaure off in a big conference game tonight. Cincinnati is now a top 10 team, and UConn is in the top 25. The Huskies have played some very low scoring games against top teams, and Cincinnati has been a brilliant under play for a long time. Cincinnati's aggressive in your face defense is really tough to get into a flow against. The under is 43-12 in Cincinnati's last 55 games overall. Take the under here.

*4 Star NCAA BB Total DOMINATION* The Auburn Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks are similar teams. They both like to push the tempo and get to the basket. Both teams are good at getting to the line. Both of these defenses rank at the top of the SEC in fouling. This game should have a bunch of trips to the foul line for both teams. I had this one at 152 points.

College of Charleston is a team that relies heavily on their defense and slowing the game down. They should be able to slow this game down more now that Threatt is out of the lineup. *4 Star NCAA BB Totals TKO* The Kent State Golden Flashes have had some trouble scoring against quality defenses. Lucky for them, they'll go up against the worst defense in the MAC tonight. Central Michigan gives up a boatload of points against everyone they play. Both of these teams like to score in transition when they can, so I expect to see an uptempo game here. My numbers had this game at 145 points. Take the over here.

*4 Star NCAA BB Totals Takedown* The Oklahoma Sooners are great at speeding up the game. Lon Kruger has his team running and gunning and playing very well this year. The Sooners should be the ones that set the pace here, because West Virginia has become a team that plays to the pace their opponent sets. Both teams are good at getting to the charity stripe as well. My numbers had this one at 163 points. Take the over in this contest.

*4 Star NCAA BB ACC Total* The Miami Hurricanes are playing at the slowest tempo of any team in the nation so far this season. Jim Larranaga's team is very good on the defensive end. It's also important to note that they are good at defending without fouling (which is very important especially with the new rules in college basketball this year). Pittsburgh is always a grind it out type of team that plays good defense. Open shots will be very tough to come by in this one. I had this game at 114 points. Take the under.

Georgia Tech plays to the pace of their opponent far more than the average team. The Yellow Jackets offense isn't efficient enough to turn this into a high scoring contest. *4 Star NCAA BB Totals TKO* The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have really picked up their pace of late. Rutgers has been speeding up inside the conference, which is the opposite of what most teams do. Eddie Jordan wants this team to use their athleticism to score before the opponents defense is set. Memphis is all about running when they can. The Tigers will force a lot of turnovers here and get quick transition buckets. Both teams are pretty good at getting to the line, so I expect plenty of trips to the charity stripe. *3 Star NCAA BB Total DOMINATION* The Iowa State Cyclones and Oklahoma State Cowboys are all about getting out in transition and scoring early. Both of these teams are playing much faster than they did last year, and in last year's meetings the total finished at 154 and 163. I think this game gets into the 160's. No shortage of scoring options for either team in this one.

Syracuse is bound to be a little sluggish tonight, and this Syracuse team is playing slower than any Syracuse team in the past five years. This team packs in the zone and makes it really difficult for the opposition to do anything. Notre Dame is known for their burn clock style that they often use against good teams, and they'll be doing that here. Plenty of running the shot clock here.

Because of their size, Irvine is slowing the game down drastically this year compared to the past. Cal Poly has always been a slow it down type of team. *5 Star NCAA BB Late Night TOP Play DOMINATOR* The Gonzaga Bulldogs and San Francisco Dons played to an abnormally low total earlier this year. Gonzaga won 69-41. San Francisco made 23% of their two point shots in that game and made just 40% from the free throw line. Safe to say I'm assuming they'll shoot much better at home, where they generally shoot very well. Gonzaga has outside shooter Gary Bell Jr. back from an injury now and their offense is more prolific. *3 Star NCAA BB Total Value* The Niagara Purple Eagles are the fastest paced team in the MAAC. Siena is doing a lot more running now that they have Jimmy Patsos as their new head coach. The first meeting between these teams this year finished at 155 points, and Niagara was 0-13 from three-point range in that game. You have to think they'll hit a few three's here, and the pace should still be very quick. I had 155 here too. Take the over.
